As they stepped out of the store, Julius gently took Yukie's hand in his, drawing a little closer so they could walk side by side. When Yukie asked what they should do next, Julius hesitated. He didn’t really have any ideas. Honestly, just being with Yukie was enough for him. He didn’t care where they went or what they did, as long as they were together. After a moment of thought, he finally spoke. “Would you be willing to get haircut? And… let me keep a few locks of your hair?” he asked, glancing at Yukie’s head. Even though he’d trimmed it just a few days ago, it was already growing out again. slightly wild, but still charming. Julius reached up and touched his own hair, wondering if his was getting long enough, too. Maybe he could get some sidecuts. It’d be short, sure, but if they had a professional do it, it would probably turn out fine. He didn’t give Yukie any hints about what the hair was to be used for. “It’s for a surprise later,” he added casually. “And I’m getting a haircut too. But only if you’re okay with it, of course.” He made sure to add that part, wanting Yukie to feel free to say no. “If I can find a salon, I could call and ask if they’d come to our hotel. That way, we could avoid all the mirrors.”   ------------------   Yumro watched Haruhi as the other kissed his hand. A flicker of surprise passed over his eyes, the kind that touched something quiet and deep in him. He hadn’t expected Haruhi’s touch of affection right then. His heart gave an unbidden thump in response, and for a moment, the room felt still. He looked down at Haruhi, already nestled into the pillows like he had been here a 100 times before. Something protective coiled around Yumro’s ribs. Not in a burdensome way. No, it was… anchoring. The kind of feeling he never used to feel for anyone else. He let out a breath, almost a chuckle, low and quiet as he rubbed the back of his neck. “Full service comfort, huh?” he said softly, arching a brow. “That’s a tall order.” Still, there wasn’t a moment of hesitation in his movements as he straightened up and pulled back the covers. He toed off his shoes, as he reached over to tug Haruhi's shirt free, and let it drop off somewhere. The bottoms followed soon. Tossed carelessly, like paperwrapping on Christmas morning. Yumro moved with the kind of casual grace he didn’t think about anymore, sinking onto the bed beside Haruhi with a sigh that seemed to release the rest of the night from his shoulders. The warmth of the room, the subtle scent of the sheets, the presence of the one person who had somehow carved a space into his soul, was all settled around him like a blanket of its own. His hand found Haruhi’s, without thinking, fingers curling loosely around his. He didn’t say anything for a moment. Just… breathed as they both got comfortable. And then, he murmured with a smirk tugging at the edge of his lips, “You’re lucky. I don't sing for just anyone, you know.” His thumb brushed a slow arc along the back of Haruhi’s hand. That soft, subconscious gesture that betrayed far more than his words ever would. Yumro turned onto his side, propping his head on one hand, the other still tangled with Haruhi’s. He watched him quietly, eyes flicking over the curve of his cheek, the rise and fall of his chest. And then, with all the fake solemnity he could muster, he intoned, “If you start snoring, I will sing again. Consider yourself warned.” But there was no mockery in his gaze now. Just affection. Honest, open, and terrifyingly unguarded. Yumro leaned in, pressed a soft kiss to Haruhi’s forehead, then settled down. There weren’t any part of their bodies that wasn’t already touching.
