I. Installing East Asian Language Pack for Windows 7 The Language Packs are only supported in Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 7 Enterprise. They will be listed in the Windows Update screen. If you do not have Windows 7 Ultimate you can't use the Language packs. You may follow this procedure to download and install a Windows 7 language pack: 1. Start Microsoft Update. To do this, click Start, type Microsoft Update in the Start Search box, and then click Microsoft Update in the Programs list. 2. Click the optional update links for the language packs. 3. Under the Windows 7 Language Packs category, select the desired language pack. 4. Click OK, and then click Install updates to start the download and installation process. For Windows XP 1. Insert the Windows CD. 2. Go to Control Panel and double click on Regional/Language Settings. 3. Go to the Languages tab and check "Install files for East Asian languages". 4. Go to the Advanced tab and under "Select a language to match the language version of the non-Unicode programs you want to use:" pick Japanese from the drop-down menu. Then hit Apply, then OK, then restart your computer and you are done. II. Extracting the Game With WinRar 1. Go to the folder where you have downloaded the game and double click on it. If the game has 2 or more parts, double click on the first part. 2. Select the file(s), and click on Extract to and select a location, say disk D:, or Desktop 3. A popup should show up. Select "Process All files in all volumes from the current" III. Mounting With Daemon Tools [video=youtube;_KNVzb-1d3A]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KNVzb-1d3A For older versions of Daemon: 1. Open Daemon Tools, go to "Virtual Devices" and then to "Add SCSI Virtual Drive". Daemon will add a new disk. 2. Now click again on "Virtual Devices" and you should see a new device there. In my case "Device 0: [F:] No Media". Click on this drive and from the new menu click on "Mount Image..." 3. A new window will show up and you must search for the extracted game and select it. In my case, on disk D:, Daylight-朝に光の冠を-.ISO. Depending on the game, you might have a .cue, .mds, .img, .cdi file. Once you have located it, select it, hit Open and an AutoPlay window will pop up. In this window, click on "Run Startup.exe" and it will open the game setup.3 points

If you encounter some problems while trying to play Japanese games (the game simply crushes, you get an error message etc.) it could be the following: The no. 1 problem when a game won't install or crashes when trying to play it the lack of Japanese language support on your PC. This means that you must have installed the East Asian Language Pack. For more information on setting your system into Japanese, check Japanese Game Installation Guide. If it gives some error about "Putting the CD in the drive" it is likely the copy protection on the disk. In this case, you may need to get the game from another source that made a correct image around the protection. If the game crushes, make sure you check the company website for update patches. Many of these patches fix problems with the game, like error messages, crashing, and compatibility problems. If you are trying to play an old game and you are using Windows XP, try a different compatibility mode. This is done by right-clicking the game .exe file and going to the Compatibility tab. If it's an older game, try setting it to Win95/98 setting, 640x480 resolution, or try changing your color settings by right-clicking the desktop, going to properties, clicking the settings tab, and setting the color to 16-bit. Here is a list of games that require the use of compatibility mode in Windows XP: Angelique (Windows 95/98 version) Angelique Special and Angelique Special 2 (Windows 95/98 version) Fushigi no Kuni no Angelique (Windows 95/98 version) Koukou Kyoushi: Memories of Summer Princess Maker 3 The game may have corrupt files. This can happen if the downloaded file was damaged and you should try re-downloading the file from a different source. You may be missing other software the game needs to run. This is typically either DirectX or certain video/sound codecs. Make sure you keep your DirectX updated, the recent versions can be downloaded from Microsoft.com. If the game crashes right at the beginning, it may be from missing codecs that are needed for the opening movie which is trying to play right at the game startup. Try looking through the game documentation, or if the video files are not inside of game programming files, try using a codec identification program on it to see if you are missing a codec that is needed. Just doing a search on Google for codecs and downloading some of the bigger, comprehensive packs may help.3 points

You was helped by another user and you'd like to show him/her that you appreciate it? Send that user a gift! Here is what you need to do in order to send a gift: 1. Click on Market and from the drop down menu select Market 2. From the Forum Items section (located in the left side), select Give a Gift 3. Click on Give a Gift 4. In the first box enter the username you would like to send a gift to and in the second box write a short message for that user. NOTE: You must fill the second box as well, even if it's a symbol like : ) , but don't leave it empty cause the gift won't be sent 5. Now choose the gift you want to send. In the right side of each gift you'll see a number which represents the amount of points that gift "costs" 6. After you have decided which gift you want to send, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Purchase With Points" So, basically that's all... If you have any questions related to the gifts system, post them in this thread.1 point
