Dear levi, as I am the administrator, I think I know the best how long the session timeout should be. There isn't such a thing as a perfect time frame for all forums. Each administrator should adapt the time frame to the needs of the users and to the type of the forum. Here on this forum there are for example arcade games. If the session timeout would be 15 minutes and the game lasts more than that, the user will be logged out and won't be able to submit the score. Also, there are users who spend more than 15 minutes on writing a post. Those persons won't be able to submit their post if they exceed the 15 minutes. Furthermore, there are users who spend hours on the chat room. I don't think it's normal for them to be logged out every 15 minutes, while they are active on the chat room. About the guests, don't worry, they are persons, not bots, because I blocked the bots in .htaccess. Each user has the option to log out whenever they don't use the forum or if they don't use the personal computer. I prefer letting a longer session timeout instead of getting my users angry by disconnecting them every 15 minutes. Hope you understand, All the best

"History should be honest," said Brown in a written statement. The measure won final passage from the state legislature earlier this month when it passed on a 49-25 party-line vote, with Democrats in favor and Republicans opposed. "This bill revises existing laws that prohibit discrimination in education and ensures that the important contributions of Americans from all backgrounds and walks of life are included in our history books," Brown said. "It represents an important step forward for our state. The law also requires that public schools teach about the contributions of Pacific Islanders and the disabled. California already mandates that schools include historical accomplishments by Native Americans, African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans and European Americans. Republicans who opposed the legislation argued that it would write an agenda into school textbooks. 'Sexually brainwashed' Randy Thomasson, president of the conservative SaveCalifornia.com, said Brown had "trampled the parental rights of the broad majority of California mothers and fathers who don't want their children to be sexually brainwashed." I think.. A person who doesn't have his/her computer should always have the initiative to log out.. It's a common rule as for the status.. I was actually suggesting to put other things like "idle, away etc". if your concern again is not knowing if the person is online anymore because of time out session.. you can check the last activity of the user EDIT: I also forgot to tell that.. not all users uses a computer.. I know a lot of users here uses their phone and sometimes I use my phone as well.. and remember me option don't really work on my phone

It actually depends.. 15 mins can be pretty annoying for us who stay long here in the forum.. and to log in every time we go somewhere else will be pretty annoying (trust me I've been to some other forums too) but what I like about this forum is that you can see if the user is doing any activity or not.. well a good suggestion is if the user is idle for 15 mins or so.. the green that shows the online status of the user changes to something else.. it's just my suggestion..

I do not agree with levi! :7yoyo: I don't like when I stay for about 2 hours logged in to be disconnected every 15 minute! It would be very annoying! Plus, levi, every user had the option to log out it they don't do anything on the site!

A pair of high school students, Kei Kurono and Masaru Kato, are hit by a subway train, after saving the life of a homeless drunk who had fallen onto the tracks. Following their deaths, Kurono and Kato find themselves transported —alive and well— along with a number of people who have also just died, to the interior of a Tokyo condominium. If they survive a successful mission, each individual is awarded points for the aliens they have killed. They are then allowed to leave, and live their lives as they see fit until Gantz summons them back again for the next mission. When someone gets a hundred points, they are presented with the hundred point menu and given the option of being set free and forget about this, get an extremely powerful new weapon, or revive someone from the databanks who has died.

for those who haven read it, it a 'must read' manga The story of Gin Tama takes place in Edo (known today as Tokyo because of its name change in 1868), Japan, which was conquered by aliens called "Amanto" (天人?, "Sky People") in the late Edo period. The samurai of Japan fought the aliens, but after their defeat the Amanto placed a ban on carrying swords in public. The plot is focused on an eccentric samurai, Gintoki Sakata who helps a teenager named Shinpachi Shimura save his sister Tae from a group of aliens who want to make her part of a brothel. Impressed with Gintoki, Shinpachi becomes his apprentice and works with him as a freelancer in order to pay the monthly rent where Gintoki lives, as well as to know more about him. The two of them rescue a teenage alien girl named Kagura from a group of Yakuza who wanted to use her superhuman strength to kill people. Kagura joins Shinpachi and Gintoki to work as freelancers and the three become known as "Yorozuya". While doing their job they encounter the police force Shinsengumi several times, who normally ally with Odd Jobs Gin in their work since they commonly involve dangerous criminals. They also come to meet Gintoki's former comrades during the Amanto's invasion, including the terrorist Kotaro Katsura who maintains a friendly relationship with them despite his ambitions to destroy the bakufu. On the other hand, Shinsuke Takasugi acts as a major antagonist throughout the series, as he wants to destroy the bakufu in a more violent way than Katsura does.
