Hey everyone! The forum transfer is finally completed, meaning, we are able to post. Some posts do look weird for now, a cron should run and fix the BB Codes. However, we still need to fix some settings here and there, the design, gotta create an ishop, arcade, etc. If anyone notices bugs, please post in here . Hello, as already stated, recent threads were lost. Initially all threads from 2020 were gone; but after re-doing the whole process again, only selective ones were retrieved from 2020. Therefore, it really depends how 'recent' the thread was. If it is gone, it is lost and cannot be retrieved. It is not something that we can re-import manually. Thank you for the support. If it's not there, then it was lost. I am sorry, the process is not manual and us selecting what to be 'saved' and 'retrieved'. The software does it automatically. If there are no further inquiries on the matter, I will close this thread in 24 hours. Kind regards, Saga

Hello, As already have been announced and answered to several similar topics, yes - we lost threads all over the place not just RP sections. You are unhappy as much as we are, believe me. To answer the second part of the question, last night I was 'dusting off' the RP Arena, locking and moving very old threads to the Graveyard. If your thread was not answered for the last two years, then it was moved. I moved threads from 2016, 2017 and 2018, leaving all 2019-2020 active. If I was not helpful, you can turn to the administration. 🙂

@Key I could not edit my previous message. I don't know if it is by design or a bug. Anywyay, as I said earlier, I generate my posts with scripts and I need to be able to post in source format. If I'm not mistaken the site is relying on ckeditor. If so, do you think you could possibly enable the source edition area or source dialog plugins in the ckeditor? Or maybe there is already another way of posting in source format and I missed it? Sorry for being a pain.

@Key Thanks for your hard work. That was extremely courageous of you to migrate such a huge and intricated database. I deeply sympathyse with you about the butterfly effects and hope you don't lose your mind correcting them! The site was becoming slower every day and as a regular uploader, I can only thank you for your decision. I will have to change my scripts as well since the posts have now a more orthodox html structure. I hope to share new books very soon. Good luck!

First of all, thanks everyone for your messages, and most of all for your understanding. Moving all the posts, members etc. gathered in 10 years is surely quite a heavy and long process, however we needed the change as the old platform is discontinued/doesn't receive any updates from its creators and, besides being slow, it was very prone to hacking. I'm not sure what happened with some of the posts, as in the conversion bar it showed (and it still shows) that all the posts have been transferred. As for the search, the new platform still needs to reindex the search table, so hopefully that will fix the search errors. As for the complete lists of downloads, that was a mod especially made for VBulletin, so they surely won't work for now, but I'll look for a sort of replacement.
