Has anyone else watched the drama special "Ossan's Love"? I recently did and it was so good!! It's really funny from what I saw, and what I could piece together from the Chinese subtitles that were on the version I downloaded. Does anyone know of any teams that might want to sub this special?

If you are sweet and good looking, not afraid of talking to strangers and ready for a really hard work you can find big money in the heart of Tokio. If you swing both ways this can double your money. But who said that this is always bright and colourful and nice? If you are interested to come into the world of sex, money and music you are invited to as long as you are at least two of the three mentioned above. If you are not... Well, we may try and find out something. Maybe. My plan is to open a host cafe and to bring around six people to play (though it can be one on one as well, I don't mind). If anyone wants to play the customer, feel free. Only the role of the owner is taken. This will be probably +18 rated. For reference see below: (turn on the English subtitles if you need it) So. This is an open idea, if you like it leave a comment. Could we keep the face claims as real people not manga characters? Nothing against manga, but I know we can find many cute guys out there. If you don't like it, it'll probably die somewhere peacefully. Have a great time!

I was so sad when i heard earthquake and tsunami killed many people in Japan. Of course i pray and give some donation for them. As a person who admire Nihon no Kuni so much, i wanna share a few info with you all. The Japanese National Police Agency has confirmed 13,219 deaths,4,742 injured, and 14,274 people missing across eighteen prefectures, as well as over 125,000 buildings damaged or destroyed. The earthquake and tsunami caused extensive and severe structural damage in Japan, including heavy damage to roads and railways as well as fires in many areas, and a dam collapse. Around 4.4 million households in northeastern Japan were left without electricity and 1.5 million without water. Many electrical generators were taken down, and at least three nuclear reactors suffered explosions due to hydrogen gas that had built up within their outer containment buildings after cooling system failure. Earthquake Aftershock Tsunami Tsunami flooding the Sendai Airport runway In the immediate aftermath of the calamity, at least 1.5 million households were reported to have lost access to water supplies. By 21 March 2011, this number fell to 1.04 million World involvement Humanitarian response

I want to start this series of threads about Japan since i'm really attached to this country. Let's face it...Japan is a wonder, and i'm not talking only about the geographical Japan but also of the perfect combination that you can find there between their beautiful culture and traditions that were kept through the passing time and the modern influences that have caught roots there. In this threads i want to concentrate on all the beautiful things you can find there and i'll start with... Onsens 温泉 (温=warm and 泉=spring) You can find thousands of onsens in Japan with outdoor or indoor baths but why are they so fascinating? I believe that is because by going to an onsen you get to relax, see beautiful landscapes and tend to your own health. Onsens are a major tourist attraction and you can often find them in the countryside but there are some in the major cities as well. The presence of an onsen is often indicated on signs and maps by the symbol ♨ or the kanji 湯 (yu=hot water). Sometimes the simpler hiragana character ゆ (yu) is used, to be more understandable. Question:How many of you have gone or will go to an onsen?

Contemporary Japan and Other Asian Media Help
Breeze Whisperwind posted a topic in Asian Interest Check
Hey guys, I've got to make a presentation on the above title for uni and some and I was hoping I could get some help from you guys on here What I was hoping for is simply names of your favourite bands, animes, films, mangas etc. (any Asian media) contemporary or old that you enjoy/is generally quite popular and think I should take a look at for my research. At the moment I'm going to be going through the gundam series and see how they've evolved over the years, in terms of mangas as well as generally popular boy bands over the past 30 or so years. Thanks for reading my post and thank you for any suggestions you offer ^^- 1 reply

It is so hard to choose about what to write first since Japan has so many things worth seeing but this time i'll go with: Odaiba Ferris Wheel Here are some facts about it: Height:115 Diameter:100 Rotation speed: 16 minutes/revolution Location: Odaiba,Tokyo,Japan Opening: 1999 [video=youtube;ia-V1cFMnM0] Who doesn't like ferris wheels? First of all you can go on a small and cozy cabin with your partner ^_^ then you 'll be taken high above the ground and you'll get to see a beautiful scenery from there and last you go down to earth again...nice story, right? but what if when you go down again it's already dark and you see something more amazing...like a superb play of colours coming from the ferris wheel? Question:When you get down from the ferris wheel do you want to run home and thank God you're still alive *chuckle* or you want to ride it again?
