( @pandamonium your inbox is full so I'm tagging you) Kyoji peeked his head into his homeroom teacher's office. He leaned against the doorframe to look further in when he didn't immediately see her. He clicked his tongue against his teeth. If she said she wanted to talk to him about something after school, she should be here, at least. It wasn't like he was early, though he could have been, since he skipped his last class. He suspected that she was going to give him another lecture about skipping school, or about getting too rowdy with the others- even in good fun. Kyoji rarely got into real fights, but it definitely didn't seem that way to faculty. "Inaba, you beat me here!" The teacher sang as she approached. Kyoji wore his disapproval- admittedly hypocritical- all over his face when he looked over his shoulder at her. "I expected you'd come in kinda late so I went and got myself coffee," She walked as if Kyoji didn't stand between her and the office, and he really didn't have much choice other than walk in ahead of her. She sat down, and set her mug down onto a stained coaster she somehow managed to fit on her scrambled desk. "Why don't you sit down?" She asked him, looking up at her student. Kyoji shrugged, and leaned forward on the desk. "Is this going to take very long, Sensei?" He grumbled. He was hoping this would be an in-and-out thing, mainly a formality since even if it was fruitless, it was what a teacher was supposed to do. "Sit down, Inaba," She said with a sickeningly lovely smile. Kyoji leaned his head to the side, sighing loudly, as if contemplating it, before taking a seat in the chair in front of the desk. "You've caused quite a bit of trouble these past few years, you know that?" She started bluntly. "You stay on top of your schoolwork, so it's hard for the school to officially reprimand you for skipping so much, and despite your usual crowd, you don't really get into the same… situations as them." She started to get a little more subtle. "They're not… 'my crowd' or anything," Kyoji answered, exasperated. "They're just people I hang out with sometimes," He specified. It's true, the people at school he spent the most time with weren't outstanding citizens and had gotten into a good deal more trouble than Kyoji ever had. But it was pretty clear to most people that he wasn't really friends with any of them. Her smile dialed down in nausea-inducingness before taking a sip of coffee. "If you drink too much this time of day, you'll be up all night needing to take a leak," "I have something specific to ask you," She said, not giving him an inch in his attempt to derail the topic at hand. "While you're not exactly in trouble in the traditional sense, your standing at school isn't great. I don't need to explain to you, I don't think, the kinds of problems this could cause now, as a senior." "Okay, now we're getting to the 'come to school more, stop rough-housing, don't talk so loud indoors, don't bother my classmates' blah blah speech, right? I appreciate it, but I've memorized the script." Kyoji scoffed. "I've got a fresh rewrite," She said with a sly smile. She leaned forward. "Your classmate, Amori Akio, you ever talk with him?" His eyebrows rose at the mention of that name. He was a quiet kid in class. Really quiet. Kyoji had to have talked to him at some point, being classmates, but he couldn't remember any significant exchange. Had he upset him or something? "Not really, why? Is he saying I did something?" "That's not it," She said. "I'm trying to lay down the deal here, like you, he's kind of a loner, doesn't really have friends in class," Kyoji opened his mouth to argue, but since he practically just admitted to not really having friends, he couldn't argue that point with her. "You're both good students, who are failing in other areas. So you do me a favor- hang out with him sometime. Doesn't have to be a big thing, don't have to set your whole weekend schedule around it. Just, talk to him. I think you could bring him out of his shell. "You want us to be besties?" Kyoji laughed. "I want to give you a chance to make a better reputation. Helping out with giving a meek classmate more confidence will make you look better to the staff, and make it easier for me to vouch for you. You're planning on going to college, right?" "I dunno," He lied. "Well, if you ever want to, you'll need the support of the school. And this is probably going to be less painful than other measures you could take to get on the good side of the faculty. You're not the kiss-ass type, so it wouldn't work well, anyway." Kyoji leaned back in the chair, crossing his arms. "You know? That's fair. I'll talk to him tomorrow, then." She grinned, and cordially shook his hand before he left. She took another sip of coffee and looked at the time. That went by quicker than she thought it would. He didn't need as much convincing as she predicted. It wouldn't be long, though, until she expected Akio to come to her door for their little chat.

@♠[Rin]♠ Rin's Character: My Character: The Izumo high school's cultural festival is coming up soon, and the students are bustling to make their classroom or their club stand out. However, on warm afternoons, it can be easy to lose focus and get carried away with distractions. The students of class 2-1 are victims to such a phenomenon today. While they were supposed to be painting sets for the play they will be putting on in a couple of weeks, someone suggested everyone take a break and play a game. "Spin the bottle" Everyone sits in a circle with a bottle in the center, and take turns spinning it. Whomever the bottle points to is whom the spinner must kiss! "What if it lands on a guy?" One boy asked hesitantly. "Then you will kiss the guy!" The starter of the game explained, shrugging. "Those are the rules. You don't have to play if you don't like them." "I wouldn't mind kissing a girl," A girl stated out loud thoughtfully. The girl standing next to her gave her a shy smile. "Yeah, and I don't mind kissing a boy, it might be fun!" Hideki, a tall boy with broad shoulders said, his voice had a merry ring to it. "Okay, let's get in a circle, then!" Shirai, the orchestrator of the game, instructed. "If you don't want to play, you can do whatever!"

@Wewuwe Happiness kept is the seed; Happiness shared is the flower. -John Harrigan It was an early Tuesday morning, and Seiji was mopping the floors of "Maison Wagashi", the bakery that his parents started together, and had left to him. His father was a gifted pastry chef, and his mother was equally talented in making traditional treats- wagashi. Seiji took after his mother in many ways, and his expertise in preference was one of them- learning to make them as soon as he was old enough to. However, that alone wasn't enough to keep the bakery running, and Seiji was not skilled enough at western pastries to maintain it. He didn't know how his father did it alone for so many years before now. Today, though, was the start of a new chapter for Maison Wagashi, since Seiji was able to find and hire a pastry chef who was very, very good! Today was his first day working there, so the wagashi-maker was particularly motivated to have the place spotless before he arrived. Mopping was the last thing he needed to do, and he smiled at himself, pleased. It didn't take him long to get back into the habits of taking care of a bakery.

Xiulin's Character: Noise Prince's Character Chishiki is one of the most prestigious and sought-out school in the nation. With a boarding option, esteemed students' from all over can attend with no concern for distance. There are a great number of resources for students to take advantage of, and activities for students to participate in here on campus. The school's pride is in the student body and what they can accomplish through their own dedication and ambition, so we invest a lot in giving them the tools and resources they need to succeed. Our student' comfort is also a priority, thus a lot of effort goes into maintaining the dormitory. Each dorm room contains two double beds, two dressers, a closet, and a bookcase. Each room also has a bathroom complete with a sink, toilet, and shower. Our school has a famous soccer team, as well as championship kendo and judo clubs. We offer a myriad of other sports as well, including baseball, tennis, archery, and more. We also have a variety of culture clubs, from sculpting, painting, tea ceremony, and more; including our recent award-winning performing arts club. If none of these interest you, please keep a look out for those unlisted. And new clubs are formed every year, as our students' interests become more and more diverse. @Pigeon 'Alnosie…' Elye thought to himself, repeating his beloved's name like a mantra in his head, sitting down on a large, flat rock, to rest. He was well on his way into the mountains just beyond his hometown. Locals had been very concerned with dragon sightings around this area- and rightly so. While they haven't had a dragon attack in almost a hundred years, the history alone was devastating… neighboring places had similarly gristly tales. Though the hunters who all claimed to have seen it said it was large, Elye doubted that a very large dragon wouldn't have attacked already.He assumed that it wasn't quite big enough to cause such legendary carnage. He guessed that, if he was quick and careful, he could slay the beast. He would save the town from another gruesome story in history, and he would easily win the heart- and hand- of Lady Alnosie. And at last… Elye would become a knight! 'Lady Alnosie…' He thought again, looking up at the clear blue sky, and he stood up, ready to continue, putting his bag over his shoulder. Elye suspected that he may have to camp out for a night or two before discovering where the dragon resided, something he was prepared for. He smiled to himself as he continued deeper up the mountain path. 'Enjoy your last few hours, drake,' Elye thought, a wicked grin spreading across his face. 'It will not be long 'til I send you to sleep… and bring your head to my Lord.'

@ChibiMonkey Simon felt his heartbeat quicken ever-so-slightly, as he raised his hand to knock on the door. He took a deep breath, and rapped his knuckles against the door- the entrance to his new residence, and new place of work. He was hired online, by applying to an ad on a forum specifically for live-in servants. It was a very informal, non-traditional way of getting a job, but that's part of what he liked this arrangement. He hoped that this meant it would be easier to get along with his new employer. He had been a butler for some time, though his first-and-last master had let him go after Simon unintentionally outed his master's affections for a married woman at a large party. His chest quivered at the memory. He had never been good at knowing what should and shouldn't be said… and it cost him his job- and his home. Simon sighed… he had made a lot of fond memories there, he was fond of his co-workers and his master. Simon shook his head, standing tall at the door. He wasn't going to be brought down by past memories! He was looking at the door to his future- literally. He was going to keep positive- today was going to be a good day!

@XiuLin A fresh new idol group is being formed: Resonate! The three members are hot new up-and-comings. Shou, an energetic and playful personality, Amane, an aloof, disinterested man, and Taiki, a meek, sensitive cutie. As complete strangers, they're going to have to learn to get along and work together if they want to achieve their goals of success in a cut-throat business, with plenty of other young attractive rivals ready to take their place if they fall. LAST TIME IN DEVIANTART: Shou was being rowdy and teasing Taiki while Amane took a call. Amane returned and scolded Shou for harassing the smallest member, and Taiki was released once Shou convinced him to call him "Shou" rather than by his surname. He also nicknamed him Tai.

Hey, there! I really love roleplaying, but unfortunately there has been a big lull in activity in the role-plays I'm involved in. So first of all, here are some ideas I have: 1. One character hires the second character as a live-in servant, but it doesn't take long for them to establish that the master's only the master outside the bedroom... (figuratively) This could be modern, historical, fantasy, sci-fi, anything. (1x1, I'll play either) (Update: Found a partner for this one) 2. A master has two apprentices… punishments and rewards have a BDSM slant > (Group of 3, I'd like to play one of the apprentices) (Update: I found two players! Thanks! (That was so fast ^^)) 3. A psychic with a strong control of his powers is very frustrated with a regular customer/co-worker/etc. who they can't get a 'read' on, despite some weird vibes coming from him. After some snooping, they discover that this is because he is actually an exceptionally pretty golem! Modern setting. (1x1, I'd like to be the golem) 4. HyperDoll's are a taboo craze- incredibly realistic androids that can be customized to the users needs- and quickly gained a reputation for creating the ultimate sex toys. Naturally, Character 1 is not interested in something so depraved… until one is shipped to him unexpectedly, and it doesn't seem keen on leaving its new master. Near-future setting. (1x1, I'd like to be the doll) (Update: Also found a partner for this!) 5. The youngest prince of the royal family has recently become a target. Only recently has it been discovered that he can use magic. Unlike sorcery, which is learned by the few who are able, magic is innate, 'awakes' later in the users life, and can be disastrous. The prince can manipulate the "Divine Force" - making him one of the most powerful and most dangerous people born in the last 1000 years. While the nation is at war, he is a great asset, but also greatly targeted. Thus, he is heavily guarded at all times, and always accompanied by one of the best MageKnights- sorcerers who realize they're mages while in training, who are then recruited into a special elite force to serve the crown. Fantasy setting. (1x1, I'll play either, though I have a preference for the MageKnight) (Update: Found a partner for this) And none of these are set in stone. If you don't like any of these, but would still like to role-play with me- I'm open to suggestion! I'm fine with a lot of themes, most genres, and am willing to play any position. I made a visual novel called "Mera Woods" Info and download link can be found here: http://z-brooke.tumblr.com/zb-vn It's my first VN, about a girl who is looking for her missing sister in the dangerous fairy woods. The images (Characters and backgrounds), the writing, and the programming was done by me. ^^ It's not too scary, but it is a horror game, with some intense moments, so be warned. It's super short, too, it'll take you less than ten minutes, most likely, to play through to the good ending and get the alternative ends. Also, it's available for Mac, Windows, and Linux. If you're interested and play it, I'd love to hear some feedback. I'm not likely to make a second edition of this game, but I will keep it in mind for my next one! Thank everyone!

For as long as time has existed, Heaven, the realm of Angels, and Hell, the realm of Demons, have been at war. As a result, since the dawn of Earth, the realm of Humans, the middle realm has often served as a battlefield, resulting in thousands of years of destruction and despair for the race that had nothing to do with the conflict. Unlike the Angels, with their magic, and the Demons, with their sorcery, Humans had no such defense. Until the first of the "Golden-Touched" were born. Named for the golden glow in their irises when using great amounts of power, these rare and powerful humans were the saviors of Humans and Earth as a realm. Their very presence significantly decreased the power of Angels and Demons alike, they suffered no effect from Angelic magic or Demonic sorcery, and no material from or forged in any realm beyond Earth could harm them. With their gifted saviors, Humanity took back their realm, preserving the peace for their own sake. These special humans are still being born, and relied on to continue to keep the peace, as guardians of Humanity. This role hasn't been as crucial to humanity since the Age of Everlasting War, however, since battles being waged on Earth's soil became rarer and rarer… until very recently in history. Due to unknown causes, both Heaven and Hell are deteriorating. In the past one-hundred and fifty years, demons have been immigrating to Earth, forming close-knit colonies, interacting with humans only as much as necessary, often due to circumstantial conditions to live in the Human realm. It was rarer for Angels to do so, as they had an equal distaste for Hell and Earth. But as the two outer realms continue to decay, some Angels, out of desperation, have also started colonies on Earth, immigrating in fairly small numbers about fifty years ago. As anticipated, the opposing colonies quickly became entangled in conflict… however, the Demons had an advantage. Earth-bound demons still held ties with Hell Demons, and the more powerful and resourceful demons in Hell sent aid and assistance when it came to war with the Earth-bound angels. The Angels, however, were no longer considered Angels of Heaven, as those who had to immigrate were not only the lowest ranking and poorest, but also considered traitors… Earth-bound Angels received no such aid… and suffered horrible slaughter as a result. A great many Golden-Touched were needed to intervene, and they ceased the blood-shed as soon as could reasonably be expected, but that didn't prevent a great deal of demons, angels, and even humans, from dying- though angels suffered the greatest loss, percentage wise. The conflict is all but over, but it is very clear that any surviving angels on earth are at high risk. Particularly since more powerful demons can gain additional power by eating angel flesh, making them easy targets for 'poachers'. It's been ten years since the last severe attack on angel colonies… but ever since the immigrations started to occur, no one on Earth, except for the most hopeful or naive, can claim to feel safe.

Or not… I just didn't want to say "Hi" in the title > But I'll say it here: Hi! I'm Noise Prince, and I'm not very good at introductions like this… but I met some very lovely people on chat who were incredibly friendly and fun, so I figured it was worth the shot to try it out. As you can probably tell, I'm new and a bit awkward, and you've probably already figured out that I'm interested in yaoi, and if you hadn't, then it's spelled out for you I'm really interested in making friends and am quite interested in roleplaying, which was the main reason I made an account. I haven't role-played in a forum for quite a while (and I've never role-played yaoi), so I might be a little rusty on how these sorts of things go (Looking at the role-play glossary, there are a lot of terms I hadn't heard of!), but I'll try to get the hang of it quickly. I consider myself "semi-lit" to "lit" depending on ones' standards, but I guess that'd be "Novella" according to the glossary. If you're willing to role-play with a newbie, let's go for it! I'm very open to almost any genre. I like slice-of-life, low fantasy, high fantasy, some supernatural (Burned out on vampires and werewolves, but I've been on a really strong angel/demon kick lately! So if you are too, let's plan one together! I'm rather clunky with canon or existing characters/stories… so I'd like to stick with original stories and characters. I'm also not a big fan of heteronromativity. Heteronormativity, as defined by google: Heteronormativity Heteronormativity is the belief that people fall into distinct and complementary genders (man and woman) with natural roles in life. It asserts that heterosexuality is the only sexual orientation or only norm, and states that sexual and marital relations are most (or only) fitting between people of opposite sexes. It's kind of complicated, but heteronormativity is the idea that the 'heterosexual model' is the norm, so that even in guyxguy relationships or girlxgirl relationships, there is always the "So whose the man/woman of the relationship?" question- because that's the model. The popular dynamic of the uke being "cute, feminine, submissive" (the "woman") and the seme being "cool, masculine, dominate" (the "man") is a result of heteronormativity. I'm not opposed to characters being either way, I love feminine characters, I love masculine characters, I love ambiguous characters (more than life *cough*), whether they're uke/seke/seme/uncategorized/unrelated/etc. … but there are ways in which they can be expressed without being heteronormative. Sorry, I don't think I explained this very well… and I wrote so much on it… > TL;DR I would like to role-play original stories and characters about nearly anything- and I like angels and demons, and google can explain words better than me.
