History:

Daniel have lost his parent when he was on 5-6 year old, by a man named Skull, many people had fear from him, but not Daniel, Daniel still remembers his evil smile when he took down his parents, without even taking consider that they have child, this man was cold heart, without sorrow he just goes and kills everything and he don't care for his families, Daniel survive him because he hides himself under the bed where the so skilled man don't even consider to check or may be he didn't want to lose his time with some child. However Danny vows in himself that he will find this man and kill him, in the most worse way on which he can think off. However his path takes a different way... one night when he was training his body on the open fields for self defense, one of the most famous Martial Masters notice him, this boy was coming every night really late and was training really hard for several hours, the Master grin and said that this will be his student, when he is ready.. after few days passing by, the master would go to this same field, and offer to the boy to train him, and vows that he will seal this darkness inside him for revenge, Danny agrees to become his student and for the next 10 years he spend his time in training Martial arts with Sai, one of the most dangerous and deadly weapons ever known... however when the 10 year hit, the teacher would say that Danny have learned everything which he had to learn him, and he needs to continue training but not anymore with him, but with the many challenges which awaits him for future, the old man did really erased the must inside the boy, and he did really was more calmer, but more aggressive when it comes to fights, once when the old man let go of Danny to keep going on his path, Danny ends up in the big city in Japan, Tokyo... learning to work out his money for eating and existent, however one night really late, when he was coming back from his work, he ends on a big event, how one of the Top Agents of CIA was dealing with something... something not human, he would jump straight into fight worrying for the man on the ground, without knowing that he is agent and defend him, till the creatures runs away, when the fight was over the Agent stood up and had conversation with the boy, offering him to join in the CIA HQ for further training in weapons and Marksman, explosive, and international spy program, Daniel at first thinks that this was some kinda of Joke, but soon as he finds out that is not a joke he accept this offer, and for the past several years he was training to become Special Agent in CIA, through his training many of his teacher would see something special in Danny, and give him very high score, not just in his training programs but and on the final tests... soon everyone expect from him someday to take the place on the top agent who brought him here at first and now he is working for this title, (for now he is just second after the top agent.)

Still the history doesn't know about the existence of pure mutants,but actually there are two of them. One is for sure Aros,but the other...even Aros himself doesn't know yet. And still,the birth of the first pure mutant is a well kept secret. That is a main reason for the man to keep working as a treasure-hunter,in hope to find out his past and how he was born.

 

Currently he is a captive in Egypt. For his bad luck the last job he received didn't go well. Or at least,there was a good enough of reason for him to raise hands and give himself up to the enemy. Held into their slave-prison,Aros is the attraction due to being both gorgeous and the best of the best treasure-hunters in whole world.

...1:43 AM "Danny's Apartment" Tokyo, Japan...

 

It was late at the night, when a mobile phone rang through the whole room, the sound was pretty loud, and could wake up anybody, a hand... to some point muscle hand but not too much would from under the belts and catch the phone hitting on the green button for answer, he would place the phone headphone on his left ear, where you could see, his bright silver earning with rounded dark green diamond.

 

"Yes?" a gentle, somehow soft voice could be heard from under the blankets, "Angel, we need for an emergency mission, it would be nice if you drop by in the next 20 min... I hope you are still in the area." a mysterious male voice would be heard over the phone, as one dark haired head would show up from beneath the blanket "Yes, sir. I will be right there." a handsome young boy in his 20 would say, he had dark green eyes as the diamond on his ear, and they was shining lightly into the darkness, soon he would hang up, and put aside the blankets, he had quite well build body even though he was slim person, he had abs, and agility perhaps... and when he stood up he was quite high around 5.8-5.9 feet, perhaps?

 

The male would straight up his body, and yawn out softly as he would went into the bathroom which was near by, and turn on the shower, he was intending to take a shower for the next 10 min, and after around 20 min to get his ass to the HQ.. "Man I wonder what so important in this late hour..." he would mumble looking at the digital watch which was on his left wrist "2 AM... really... they need to give me extra credits for that..." he would say in a kinda joking way, he would took off his boxers which was the only thing which he was wearing when he was sleeping, and enter under the shower, after few minutes he would leave the shower and take his tooth brush, and wash up his teeths for less then 2 min, and then go to his room, after he took the towel which was at the exit of the bathroom, and start drying his body down till he reach up his closet.

.. 2AM, ''Abu-Rah's Prison'', Egypt ..

 

Under the ground,no,under the sand and the busy Cairo, where the life would start once midnight kicked in, a real terror could be witnessed. It was the well known 'Abu-Rah' prison for ..who not.

 

Usually slaves would work for its sake. These who would be sold soon were treated a bit better than the new-comers, or than the ones that would never be sold - due to either injury or disability to take care of whatever it was. Far worse though mutants were treated.

 

A sudden whip sound broke the usual night atmosphere in the prison.

 

-"Get up,slave!",one of the guards had to yell at some pretty young boy,per say, around 17. The younger was exhausted and it was visible that he hasn't been feeling well. Not to mention that he was blind.

-"Cid, leave that science trash.", another came their way to light a cigarette as laughed.

 

It was true that the younger was a mutant,but had they to kick him because of that?

 

The prison itself was constructed pretty oddly. In levels. The lowest level was for slaves that would spend the rest of their days in the prison. As higher you got on the levels which were actually different floors,so much sooner you'd be sold. That meant that you were treated well.

 

As to be expected,after being caught so suddenly, Aros was in the lowest level, where the current scene was taking place.

The gray haired male was laying in his old and dirty mattress in his ''cage'',when he heard the younger coughing pretty badly.

Redphilious opened eyes and sighed,

-"Ah. One minute and thirty-five seconds.",the mumble escaped him and exactly in that period of time,the boy started shaking. Seemed he just got his heart shattered,or in other words, heart attack.

 

-"Oh,too bad.",one of the guards commented with irony.

Redphilious gritted teeth and turned to one side,ignoring the laughter coming from outside. Was he happy to not be known for a mutant? Or was he actually used to such a thing. One could never know what was in this male's head.

...2:10 AM still in Danny's Apartment, Tokyo, Japan...

...2:30 AM HQ CIA, Tokyo, Japan...

 

When Danny, took out his normal cloths which he was using when he was going for mission, black shirt, button almost to the top, except that the few top buttons was unbutton, a leather coat, unbutton was at the top of this shirt, and black leather pants with black leather battle boots which was reaching up to his knee and ending up exactly on a few meters beneath it.

 

The male was kinda annoyed and still half asleep, he would go to his bed, and enter with his hand under the pillow, searching for something, not long after that he would pull his hand out, and have gun in his hands which he was holding tightly "My best friend." he would say grinning, as he would put the gun at the back part of his belt, and under his shirt which was free from his dark belt.

 

"Well time to go, or the boss will yell at me again… they know that I just finish up with 2 missions and now they send me on another… seriously does those missions never ends…" he would mumble unhappy as he would shake a bit his head, and take the lead for hallway in his apartment, his keys was staying on the desk which was near the exit door so they was pretty easy to get, his wallet was there as well, so there wasn't much for him to turn back… "Oh shit I forgot my necklace…" he would say returning to his room, and pulling out one coffer from one of his desks, placing it on top of it.

 

From the chest, he would pull out one thin necklace with crest at the end and with another green sapphire in the middle where the two metal lines was crossing, as he would connect the chain behind his neck, and place it under his shirt.

 

This was one very important jeweler for Daniel, it was expensive gift from one of his friends, and one of his best ex girlfriends… then he would rush up and leave his apartment closing up behind him and locking up the door, as before that he would turn the alarm on.

 

He would rush down to the park zone, and click on button which was placed on his key ring, as one motor would let out ring for turning off on the alarm and he would jump on it, taking his headset, from behind and place it on his head, he would start the motor and flew from his park part zone with pretty fast speed and down directly on the way for CIA HQ, Yes Daniel was one of the top agents in CIA, in one of the most secret departments, Paranormal Activity… he wasn't still top agent but many people though that he is top agent or at least they was seeing him like that.

 

Till he was driving his motor through the car way, he would not care about the signs and rules on the path, he was hurrying up and if some policeman stopped him, he would just show his CIA Badge… and he would just keep up on rushing.

 

After around 20 min or so, he would finally find himself into CIA main building and main HQ, as he would enter with his motor in the underground park… stopping at his usual spot, turning off his motor cycle and taking of his headset, and his keys pulling them out, placing his helmet on it's usual place and stand up from the motor turning on again his alarm and taking the way for the elevator.

 

He would hit the top floor as the elevator would start move fast to upper levels and stop after few seconds, at the opening of the door, few agents would wait for him there, giving him some stuffs gadgets, bullets, new belt, bracelet and another keys taking his keys away, his boss would wait for him at the exiting area for the helicopter…

 

"Danny, your mission will start as soon as you enter on Egypt territory…" one of the mans from his left would give him I-pod "This guy is named Aros Redphilious, he knows something which we need, but right now he is in prison with very high security it's a prison for special people like you, and him… yes he is mutant to. .unfortunately we have no info about his powers or what he can do, or what skills he have, but we know that this man have no feelings or emotions, he is quite cold, he can not be trust and perhaps one of the most deadly assassins out there, mostly he works as a treasure hunter but he did killed many people in his past… and I repeat my self this whole information is unconfirmed but we hope that you will confirmed it, when you establish connection and conversation with him. We need him by any chances, so if you have to use your strength to take him back here then do it! However your entering in this underground prison will be easy, you will jump from an aircraft plane, one of the most new technologies in CIA, and you will land with parachute right from the top entrance of this prison, have in mind that if you enter once inside, which is pretty easy… exiting from there will be really hard, the security have one of the most new technology too, weapons electricity… in your gadgets you have special gloves black leather color ones which will protect you from the shocks, and the other gadgets are the normal ones, climbing belt, sleeping arrows… shock wave and laser watch… and so on… once you get him free… there won't be any more transportation available for you to take him back here… you will need to reach up to Greece in Europe, to can you catch a plane, which will wait for you after 7 days… when we hear the news on the TV about your prison breaking… this credit card…" one of the mans from the right would give to Danny a credit card "Have unlimited cash credit… for using… so you can use it for free, CIA will take care for any spend money which you will need through this whole mission… any further information including which cage Aros is and on which floor, you can find in this I-Pod which you hold… so make sure you read all of the information about the prison, without passing by pages, this prison is very dangerous place so please make sure you don't do anything stupid and get yourself killed or imprisoned!" he would say a bit worried but in awhile he would smirking as he would move aside and a big door would open to the "H" plot… where Danny was suppose to get on the helicopter, he would grin and nod "Yes, sir!" he would say and taking his way for the helicopter.

 

"And Danny…" the boss would say as Danny would look at him "Yes?""…stay safe." the older man would say, as Danny would smile and nod "Of course sir." even though Daniel was one of the top agents he still get injuries during missions sometimes deadly sometimes just some light wounds and everyone in the agency including his boss was worrying about him, every time when Danny leave the agency for mission.

 

Soon Danny would get his butt on the helicopter which will flew up and start flying towards the airport where he was suppose to get on extremely fast plane which will get him to Egypt for less then 2 hours… from Tokyo, Japan, and this was very good.

It was around 4AM, finally the prison got to be quiet,but ghost-haunted like. The cell where Aros was held wasn't locked-up. In fact,no cell was locked. It wasn't needed. The high standard of the security and the gadgets they were using were enough of a 'lock-up'- useful. And speaking of such gadgets, all slaves had a digital neckline gadget around neck,that had a metalish color. Of course that gadget wasn't just for the show, it was able to kill. If a slave would cross a red-line, the gadget would send electric-waves to their brain,to immobilize them. If the slave was to be a mutant though, the waves would go darting for both,their heart and brain with the purpose to kill them. And such red-lines were to be found on each exit and passing door to next levels.

 

.. BITES ..

 

Slow steps and the quiet sound of someone munching onto a fruit echoed through the darkness. A pair of black shoes stopped before the dead body of the younger,the poor mutant that died a few hours ago. Indeed,his body wasn't even taken away yet. Left out there to show to mutants that they were just a mere tool for mankind to use. When humans became gods to set such rules? Rules as who could live and who would die?

 

The munching onto the fruit stopped,a hand lowered down and the faint light from the night-lamps glowing in red illuminated actually the fruit - it was an apple.

One of the black shoes moved forward to push the dead body on side,so it would turn and the boy would be laying onto his back.

-"....",no word was spoken,suddenly he lowered. And now the faint red light from the night-lamps illuminated the face - Aros.

 

He gazed down the boy,and then resumed his munching onto the apple. The young boy's eyes were still open,wide open. Staring straight into these blue eyes,Redphilious recalled a certain line. A line from his past,spoken by a gentle woman's voice.

 

>> ''Did you know,Aros? When a being dies and eyes are wide open,it meant that the being wanted to live,but forced to die."

 

Redphilious' brown eyes went nostalgic and he paused his eating,hovering over the boy.

-"...Wanted to live,huh?",he repeated out loud these lines and lifted chin up,shifting his eyes.

 

"There? No. Ah,over there...",his pupils have turned into slit ones while thinking,as if a big dangerous panther was crunching in the dark. In fact,he was using his sharp senses which were like a radar for finding mutants and their powers. Sadly,there wasn't any mutant in the entire prison with the power to revive someone dead. Actually, 'Death' was something absolute, not even a mutant could do anything about 'Death'...

 

But what about a pure mutant?

 

A sleeping old man on the second level,he was dreaming so sweetly,with such a great power hidden - illusions. It wasn't fair to do it what he was about to do,but to revive a mutant, it was risky. Either the other would go insane .. or would turn into a monster. As it has happened before... long ago. Aros locked eyebrows into a frown and chased away these dark thoughts.

 

The gray haired male put his free hand over the boy's forehead and borrowed the old man's power. Three minutes,he stay there,not moving - not even seen because in the dark.. What was happening and what he was doing?

 

As soon as he retrieved his hand, the boy's eyes were closed and he was smiling. What he ...did?

Aros got up and felt so empty,so cold. So dead. His eyes lost another glitter of life. Was he doing it on purpose? Using this part of his powers? Just to get closer to death and losing his emotions,so he wouldn't feel alone and in pain? The male lifted his hand,which held the apple and turned around,leaving the dead smiling body there. The younger looked so calm right now,as if he was happy being dead.

 

Redphilious headed back to his cell,walking slowly and eating the rest of his apple. He was expressionless. How could such a cold man leave behind someone with such a warm smile? ... Paradox.

2:43 AM, Airport Japan, Special Zone for CIA Planes...

 

-"Great now all I have to do is, get to the sonic plane, and read all of the information about this damn place." he would say frowning lightly, as he would get to the plane, and they will give him green line to leave the air port.

 

The finger tips of Daniel would touch the surface of the computer which was as a main plot, which will take down his prints safes, and the airplane would activate, turning on all of the energy into it and giving access on Danny to CIA database, he would check few things and slide the I-Pod as a card down in one of the opening which was open in the air plane, as the air plane would start loading the information, uploading automatically in its system the coordinations where he had to jump and start on it's own.

 

-"CIA HQ, Allow launch." a female voice from the computer would come out, and after few seconds after that the plane would start moving on it's own and start gathering speed forward launching forward in very high speed.

 

-"Time of arriving 3:56 AM, over 'Estinaf Prison', you will be let free in 3:57 AM." the computer would said as Danny would sigh "All is automatic... where is the fun in that..." he would mumble unhappy.

 

For the next hour Danny spend his time over the information which they had about this prison, the prison was for real very tight up. With the latest technology, the cells was electrical charged, and prisoners have collars?

 

-"What is that? Prisoners have collars? For real?" he would mumble to himself as the computer would start talking:

-"In the last few years Estenaf Prison, made sure that whenever they have prisoner under their guardianship. He must not have chance to leave the place, because this place was create for the most deadly people in the world, and beside that even for mutants in 2007 there was one escape which caused a lot of innocent victims, and that put Estenaf Prison under thin surface so they had to increase their security on maximum." the female voice would say from the plane, as Danny would rub the back of his head.

 

-"But Man, you really are well informed... thank you for the information, but there is almost nothing in the world which can stop me to finish my mission successfully." he would say nevrotic and chuckle nervously.

 

-"Sir, I am agree that your successful missions proceed even in my database, and it's really great but you don't have to take this prison so lightly." the computer would respond, as Danny would shake his head and smile.

 

-"That very true, the prison is really well armed, okay what can you tell me about those collars or necklace or whatever they are?" he would ask simply the computer as the computer would start search into the database.

 

-"So if we over electrify it, the collar would turn itself off, cutting off the connection between the sender and the receiver... well that would be easy... but of course it will be painful at least for me..." he would say softly, raising a bit his hand as few strings of electricity would run of through his skin surface and finger tips.

 

-"Yes, sir. This is confirmed, it will turn of the digital neckline, it will cause light pain on the user but it will turn itself off and drop down." she would say as they was already on Egypt Territory

 

-"Well then I guess I don't have much of a choice do I now..." he would mumble thinking about something which he though it will work 100%.

 

-"What do you think about, sir?" the computer would ask him as Danny would chuckle nervously and shakes a bit his head.

-"Heh, don't worry about it, get me ready for the launch." he would say as the computer would give to Danny parachute and he would put it on.

 

-"Time to dance." he would say as his eyes would start slowly cover in white light which was shining from his eyes and suddenly the winds beneath him would start blowing intensively creating something like a sand storm, as the plane open from bellow and drop down Danny, Danny would reach up to the bag of his back, and pull out those specific glasses for paratroopers and place them on his eyes, the interesting was that those paratrooper glasses wasn't normal one, he would reach up to it's side and press one almost invisible button, as the glass would start instantly drawing down the map of the prison and where he was finding himself, giving him the opportunity to activate night vision and X-Ray Vision (Seeing through solid objects and even cloths which can tell him who was where and did he had gun or not), shortly after he would gather his arms near his body, and lower his head forward with his body, which made his falling speed way more faster.

 

... 4:01 AM in the sky over the Prison...

 

Soon when Danny reach up to around 100 meters above the entrance of the Prison, he would activate his parachute, and pull out his gun shouting instantly till he was falling to the three guards which was at the top, tearing the parachute strings he would jump down the last few meters which was 3 meters or so, as he would turn around and he would shout at the other 5 guards which was just having dinner "8 bullets used 1 left..." he would think pulling out his next load and throwing the one with one bullet to the ground and loading his gun again as he would rush down through the stairs for the lower levels, of course the alarm would activate shortly after when Danny land down on Prison ground.

 

Few bullets would flew near Danny's faces which he will dodge by stepping backward and making backflips which will help him out to dodge five more bullets was coming at his directions.

Redphilious was on foot,leaning against the cold wall near the small window. He glanced to the side, seemed like someone broke into the prison.

-"Interesting.",he mumbled under grin and just turned his gaze back towards the small window. Why he seemed so less interested? He seemed so emotionless and not caring. If the flame inside was still alive,one would rush and try to escape during the time of riot.

 

But he just stood there,calmly gazing up. But soon the slaves started talking and getting excited.

 

-"Did you hear!? Some young boy broke the guard and got inside! He is fighting them all alone!",some slave would randomly gossip out loud,so loud that a few others got excited just by the atmosphere his voice created.

 

Aros glanced a bit towards them. Not like he was showing interest,more than ever he was INTERESTED.

The gray haired male uncrossed his arms from in front chest and walked near the entrance where a red-line could be noticed.

 

-"Hey! Are you insane?! If you cross the red-line you will die!", a slave screamed towards Redphilious' direction.

The pure mutant out-stretched hand,closing it to the area where red-line sensor rays were dancing in a deadly-like dance. As closer as his hand got near the red rays,electric threads would appear,burning him from inside. Damn these bastards,they had some tough traps.

 

Suddenly his attention was taken elsewhere, a few levels upwards. He saw a running figure of a young boy. What a surprise, the other managed to get this far? Indeed,that was amusing - Aros thought.

...4:29 AM, the floor on which Aros's Cage was...

 

Few bullets will flew towards Danny as he would jump aside into sideflip, and press his hands at the edge of the upper stairs and push himself up landing down at Aros level, he would shout few times up at the others, there was something like crazy grin over his face, it was like he was ready to die but he was in the mean time fighting in his best to survive.

 

-"God! Who is that brat! Get more security at the mutant level NOW!" one male voice would yell out from above it seems it was one of the officers which was guarding the prison, Danny would smirk and roll his gun around his finger and place it back in it's spot behind his waist in the belt, as he would turn towards the cage where Aros was.

 

-"Yo! You're coming with me today." he would say with amused smile, and scratch the back of his head nervously, walking closer to the entrance towards the cage but stop right in front the red sensor line "Man..." he would say in some tired and annoyed way "...I pass like hundreds of those till I get to here... don't they ever give up?" he would say stretching his fist and hitting pretty harsh the sensor sensing electrical waves through the whole system and turning off the sensory system for the whole floor as he would grin and look back towards his 'target'.

 

-"So let's cut the crap and go through the short way, I am Daniel Smith and I work for the Central Intelligence Agency, I am here to get you free and take you back in Japan, CIA needs information which we have... however I don't have still a back up plan to get out of here but I have something in mind, depends if I can trust you?" he would simply say and look at the other, grabbing the cell door with his gadget gloves and moved aside, opening the whole cage almost tearing the prison door, approaching the other and then reaching up for his necklace and grabbing it rudely and teared off from his neck throwing it aside before even have the chance to explode... his electricity charge was more then enough to slow the timer and the sensor of the necklace but in the minute when it hits the ground will explodes up, creating for a sec bright light on the floor.

 

-"And of course depends from do you want to live or not?" he would continue his previous sentence and look at the other waiting for his respond, Danny wasn't in a hurry he always had trust in his skills and even if he had to deal with the whole security here on the prison he will take them all down without killing them.

Hidden in the dark Aros kept his icy gaze on the other. The boy kept talking about some agency, which didn't even interest Redphilious. Doubtfully there was a thing that could interest the pure mutant.

 

Only a sentence struck him,so he stepped out the dark,to reveal his expressionless face to the other,

And of course depends from do you want to live or not?

 

Not the right question he asked Aros,but the mutant just kept eyes on the other. What a lively figure he was. Completely different from Redphilious.

The other couldn't realize that it wasn't a question of 'want to live or not', in that place the only one who could bring both Life and Death,was Redphilious.

 

For now the mutant decided to follow the other,but also kept hidden his powers. He left it all to Daniel.

Daniel would stare at the other for a moment shocked by his look but then he would sigh and shake his head a bit, giving to the other a weapon.

 

"I sincerely hope you can use it." he would say, seems like Daniel have faith in the other male so he would lift his gun horizontal on his eyes and take a protective pose and start move slowly forward, he would notice few who was coming, and he would shout at few of them, cutting through their limbs and making them not able to move or shout but leave them still alive, few soldiers start approach from behind.

 

"Those are yours." he would say with warm smile looking at the other and start taking the way upstairs again to the top of the prison only entrance for the time being.

That boy was too naive, Redphilious thought. It wasn't the friendly smiles or anything,it was the trust he freely sprinkled. Or actually,it was Aros with a trust lost in anything called 'being'. Humanity died long ago,and Redphilious was one of the proofs about it. He gazed down the gun he was given.

He didn't open his mouth, at all. The pure mutant kept silent and wonder if the other would start thinking that Aros was with some defect or something.

 

:: RIOT! RIOT! RIOT! RIOT! ::

The other slaves started "howling". Aros closed his eyes,while Daniel was in a bloody fight, one would think the boy was a monster. But in that place, it was better to be one.

 

Suddenly dashing steps could be heard from behind. A second later Daniel gave a sign of changing plans.

 

Those are yours.

Aros' eyes opened and the first thing he monitored with them was the boy's smiling face. Smile... it was something he never could obtain. Redphilious turned to side with a creepy grin of a psychopath -

"Heh", he chuckled.

 

What a kid they sent, Aros jumped on the stair's handrail made only by metal. One single spin of the gun, he threw it aside. How perfectly thrown for the gun to land carefully before Daniel's feet.

-"Kids shouldn't play with fire.",he glanced over his shoulder,his cold gaze darted at Daniel,"... Or so 'he' said."

He mumbled the last part,shrugging with shoulders. What he meant by that? And surely that 'he' was someone he knew. Was it his ex-partner?

 

-"GET THEM!",the leader of the soldier group shouted.

A deep inhale to lungs, it was poisonous, this kind of life he lived. Redphilious looked to the side,there was a cell in which some broken mirror would reflect his figure.

What he saw - he could no longer recognize. Sudden memories from long ago broke into him.

-"Onee chan! Onee chan!"

-"Oh,boy! Akkun, why you are still up? Go sleep."

-"But!"

-"No buts. Go now."

:: PHUUUUU! ::

The smoke from the hot opening of the gun,which Aros like a kid held wasn't the reason his vision to be blurred. Surely... he just shot the only person he ever loved.

 

A deep frown, as soon as he turned head forward - Oh boy!

The soldier was just attempting to hit Redphilious with the weapon he was carrying. How long Aros was spacing out in that mirror?

The pure mutant out-stretched hand and let his strong grip warp around the soldier's neck.

There,his eyes went all glowing like before, the panther in dark - pupils slit. Only the growl was missing. But wait, he didn't want anything to do with Daniel. Nor he wanted to show his powers. Before the boy could notice Aros' eyes, the pure mutant 'borrowed' once again a power - to put in a sleep. Thank god that they were in a prison full with mutants. He put Daniel to sleep,so nothing of the ugly fight he would have now would be witnessed. Besides, he could leave the boy when all was safe. He wouldn't want to have another innocent involved.

Daniel would start looking around as all of the prisoners start rumbling through the rather silent dark prison, but not anymore, he could only hear others screaming and trying to break out.

 

:: RIOT! RIOT! RIOT! RIOT! ::

 

Was there words, was the words which was worrying Daniel or was it his only person on who could relay right now, but before, he manage to stay on the fight, his eyes and head would start feeling heavy as something like a heavy weight would drop over his fragile shoulders and chest as he would drop first at his kneels.

 

"Wh-What is that, I... I suddenly start feeling tired... and sle-" he was cut short because of his mind which drop down the rest of his body down to the ground, he wasn't dead, he was rather asleep, but how, there was no certain explanation for that it's just happen, like someone entered in his mind and put it down to sleep, even though when he fall asleep he was rather enjoying it, he didn't slept for the past several days he was too overworked, and right now all he could think about was his mission trying to depart from reality, his mind was quite tired and his body too, so he need a nap but why, why right now? How could he just pass out.

 

"Where am I?" a soft rather familiar voice could be heard through the place, trembling. Daniel found himself in rather dark room, where he couldn't say anything in front his feet, but he could see something for sure just few meters before him, when he saw who was standing there his eyes would wide "Wh-What are you doing here? Where am I?" the rather happy person which Daniel was suddenly just snap out to fear and sadness, the male which was standing in front him was his friend, his old partner which he lost long time ago in a middle of a mission, how could he ever forget this person face, the feeling when he is with him, it was rather strange then normal, it was rather sad and fulfill with concern towards this person, which was standing silently in front Daniel's dropped down body, he couldn't move, neither he could speak, he could just lay down there and watch his friend staring at him without any expression, like his eyes was empty. When he will ever wake up from this nightmare, when will overcome his friend lost, no one knew, neither Daniel neither anyone else.

God knew what happened when Daniel closed eyes. Only trace left from the soldiers was the blood covering Redphilious. Slow steps,he stood before the resting body of the boy.

-"...You shouldn't play...with fire,boy..",quietly Aros whispered the words as he lifted Daniel in his arms. These cold arms,giving away the warm security of a lonely soul. Was Redphilious that lonely? He hasn't touched a living being since he shot his first love. Trembling not from the body's weight, but from fear Aros left the prison.

 

As soon as he got out,they both disappeared in the dark. If Redphilious had one wish, it'd be to hold her tight. She was a girl from the medical team that guarded Aros when he was created. The scars over his body spoke for a pain that wasn't suited for a human being, only a monster could bear so much pain. A slight sigh, Redphilious got inside a room where he placed Daniel on a bed. Gladly he managed to slip into a small motel, it was thanks to his old friend who let him inside for just one night. Letting the younger down on the mattress,Redphilious lowered down - a few inches from the boy's face. The mutant's breathe could caress Daniel's cheek,and the hair slightly touched the boy's neck. He looked in pain,but Redphilious could care less. He didn't even feel anything,he was like an empty shield. Ah, how he wished to feel - even if it was pain.

 

The male got away from the boy,letting his black jacket slip from his shoulders. He was all in blood, still his eyes were into slit form. Glowing lightly, it's been awhile since Aros tasted blood. What could feed a monster more than the fear of others? In Redphilious' head the screams of the soldiers kept drumming - "Please..don't..STOP!NO-...". Aros frowned disgusted by his being, why he couldn't just die?!

After awhile finally the CIA agent will calm down in his rest for a few hours, but then his eyes would slightly start open, the first thing which his eyes met was the cell in a room, his eyes wide up, when he saw the cell. Standing straight up just to make a comfortable sit over the bed was the action which he did, he looked around, the next thing which he saw was a jacket soaked with blood, Daniel will rush forward with his hand to get the fell thing "This is the jacket of this guy, why is soak with so much blood..." he would ask him self.

 

He would clench tightly the jacket as he will stand up and look around, "Where am I? Where is he?" was the second sounds of words which left his part lips, his eyes was dropped and a bit tired, it was more then obvious that the other didn't really get much of a sleep either, when he walked a bit forward and place to the side the jacket, on the bed, he would stand up, he was a bit hazy and he didn't had much of balance but then he will find a good point for palance and finally gets to his full height, it was a normal one height for a guy on his years around 179-180 cm, length, and 70-75 kg weight.

 

When he stood up he would look around the room to find this guy, it was more then obvious that Daniel wasn't already in the prison, actually he was somewhere else, he could see there was a blood prints of shoes there, so he would raise his gun as he would start checking the rest of the apartment, where was that guy, was the only think which he could think.

Of course, Redphilious had to get this blood clean off him,so he has taken shower. Now the male was walking down the corridor of the motel,getting back to their room with some food. Gladly the mutant could rely on his old friend to get some clothes - not like they were best friends. It happened that the other was in debt to Aros.

 

As he opened the door, his empty and calm gaze fixed on the gun in front of his face. A sigh escaped him as he closed the door behind him,

-"Told you to not play with guns.", he treated the other like a kid as he passed by him,not even affected by the gun. Usually one would be shocked, not the case with Redphilious.

 

As soon as he placed the food on the table in the room, he took out an apple to munch on. The pure mutant could tell that the boy wasn't himself, or rather he had from these nightmares which were the very same reason why Aros stopped sleeping.Briefly after the second bite on the apple he did,he turned to Daniel,

-"You should leave in one hour,if youdon't want to get back in the prison.",wait...Redphilious was thinking to get caught? The male seemed so calm,getting a seat on the chair in the room - as if ready to get caught by the soldiers. It seemed that he didn't want to help Daniel to complete his mission. Or was there a reason why he wouldn't want to involve the boy further?

Daniel would give him one harsh look as he was holding his gun without doubts when the other said to him that he felt like the other was treating him like a child, he would get a bit angry "Don't treat me like child!" he would say rather harshly to the other as he will take off the gun and put on the safer switch, and throw his guns to the bed on which he lay down just moments ago, and approach the other to sit on the other chair.

 

"And I am not going anywhere, till I don't get you back to the CIA HQ, I've never failed in missions, I won't fail in this one, and I never feared a enemy, I won't start fear now." he would say a little more friendly this time, starring at the food which was placed on the table, he would sigh and reach up for hamburger which he spot, and get it to himself, to can he opened and bite on it harshly, Daniel was rather hungry, so he didn't really care for manners much.

 

"Such bossy person.... why the hell they didn't gave just once a mission where I don't have to deal with someone's bossy attitude..." he would mumble and curse beneath his nose, as he was starring to the side, where there was a window, he could see that they were somewhere in a middle of a road, but which one he didn't knew, there could be seen city in the far horizon "Where the hell we are?" he would ask the other looking at him from the corner of his eyes, as he kept eat his burger.

He didn't fear,Aros thought and then chuckled as he looked away. He hasn't laughed in ages, but the boy was shaking in his sleep. Whatever he dreamed,Redphilious decided to keep it in a secret - that he saw the boy in fear. As the matter about taking him to the agency, Aros kept silent. Many secret teams tried to get to Redphilious' brain, and get him in experiments in order to find ... the secret. Did Daniel know what they wanted to do to Aros? The mutant averted eyes to glance over the other - he doubted it.

 

"Where the hell we are?"

 

Like an arrow the question came. Redphilious got up to walk to the window, the road was empty and unknown. A few knew that road.

-"Somewhere between the nothingness.", he replied as his eyes glittered with sadness.

 

-"Why do you work with them?", the mutant turned around to lean against the windowsill.

Daniel would stare at the other emotionless "What is wrong with you? You sound so emotionless... did something happen back in this prison in which you was held?" he would as the other and approach him, leaning his shoulder to the other side of the window, looking at the other male, he had to admit the other was really good looking guy, he was taller and a bit more muscular then Daniel, it could be said that the other had his training.

 

-"Why do you work with them?"

 

"I need 'them to keep somehow my living... everyone needs money and to be agent is quite well paid." he would mumble at the other male's question, his eyes would gaze outside the window with silence, it was so empty there was no human being, it was like everyone was dead there, at least the room in which they are, was warm one, so it was quite welcoming.

 

"And what about you? How did you end up in this hole under the ground?" he would as the other as his look would return over the other male's eyes, Daniel was rather serious now, seems like he didn't like how the other seemed so emotionless, he hate that, he hated when people was hurt so deeply or something have happened to them and they seemed so deeply hurt and emotionless, it was like they wasn't humans at all "You need to cheer up a bit... you need to have some more fun, I don't like seeing people like you, emotionless like something happened to them... I hate that." he would mumble lightly and look back through the window.

"What is wrong with you? You sound so emotionless... did something happen back in this prison in which you was held?"

 

It wouldn't be the first time when he was asked what was wrong with him, may be that was the reason why he only threw a glance over and looked back outside the window. How he was supposed to explain to the boy? Speaking of which,he threw a secret glance towards Daniel - if he was a mutant, what was his ability? Aros held back from the urge to use his own power and see what Daniel had up in sleeves.

 

Well, that was a good enough reason, Redphilious calmed down since in the past there were agents sent that gave away hilarious reasons. The other closed by and Aros stepped a bit back,as if having his distance. A reason was that,if he was close to other mutant, he would feel their pain. As transfer of powers,there was a transfer of emotions as well. And right now as emotionless Redphilious was,it would be a shock to his body to feel sudden emotions that weren't his.

 

"And what about you? How did you end up in this hole under the ground?"

-"Who knows.",he gave away the feeling that wasn't up to tell his life story. What life story? It was a real horror to tell the other that he wasn't a born child,but actually the first experiment ever. And that,he had no parents unless the professor who created him was counted as his father? Redphilious took out from his pocket a pack of cigarettes. Patted it to take out one cancer stick and put it between lips,"Aren't you too young to sacrifice your life,kid?"

Daniel would smile slightly as he was watching outside at the other male comment, but this smile wasn't to make fun with the other, it was more like relief, a small emotion of happiness, the other was really interesting person and Daniel wasn't stupid either he could tell that the other is probably a mutant by the way and the power which he was feeling from him, but he didn't want to go there, actually he was feeling rather quite oddly connect with the other, like the other could sense his feelings it was really good thing for him.

 

"Aren't you too young to sacrifice your life,kid?"

 

"I wouldn't say that I can handle my self just fine." he would mumble even though deep inside himself Daniel knew he was weak person, but this doesn't mean that he had to show it or something like that, he would rather pretend to be strong then be weak, because there is no life in weakness, how would he admit that he is weak when all he knew was that he was top agent and he had to deal with the problems on his own, why wouldn't he? He wasn't afraid of it or something like that.

 

Daniel would sigh softly and look to the other "You are mutant, aren't you?" he would mumble and look to the other smiling a bit, "I am not interested in your powers, but I have mission to bring you back with me, and for you to be safe, that is all I care right now, so make sure you rest well today, because tomorrow we will cross the border back to Europe and we are going back in my HQ." he would say and sigh softly shaking a bit his head, even though Daniel's expression was rather tired he was still full with happiness inside him, so it was really hard to get any sadness or such worthless feeling from him. Dan will smile a bit and approach the other placing his hand on the other male's shoulder and rub it gently, then letting his hand to drop down and head towards the bathroom "I am going to take a shower..." he will say and smile "Oh yea tomorrow we better get you new cloths... the old ones are fulfill with blood and dust... you can't walk around with such cloths..." he would say sighing softly placing his two guns on the night shaft, and take some of his cloths before he gets in the bathroom.

Just before his mind flew away to somewhere else, a question 'slapped' him,

 

"You are mutant, aren't you?"

 

How straight-forward the other was,unlike Aros. But it wasn't that the pure mutant wanted to look and act cool,he just closed himself for the world. And the world first turned its back at him. Yet,why that same world wanted to break into him through that boy? He stood paralyzed and didn't answer the question - it seemed pointless,the other was pretty sure what the answer would be.

 

He just spoke there about his mission,ready to give away Redphilious to his agency. Did he know that Aros was the key to rule the world? The secret in Redphilious' head was more than dangerous,it could kill innocent people. The young boy didn't seem to know that actually he was to give Aros' life. The mutant knew that the boy's agency wouldn't treat him with sweets and orange juices, no way. They were after the mutant's life and more importantly to continue their experiments. The grey haired male looked down with an expression unseen for the rest during these years - a bitter smile.

 

Ah flinch, the other rested his hand on Redphilious' shoulder. Hold it,hold it,ah., Aros gritted teeth, he endured the emotions rushing from the boy's body to Aros'. It's been awhile since he felt emotions and the touch got to transfer the boy's pain into Redphilious. He didn't...actually he couldn't hear what the other said after that. He just saw the boy smiling and entering the bathroom. As soon as Redphilious was left alone,he flopped on knee,one eye slightly closed due to the pain. How could such a young soul have so much pain? He saw despair,he saw darkness,he saw coldness and fear.

-"..Ha..",a slightly shaking breathe escaped Aros' lips. Burning like being in fire,walking on fire, Redphilious grabbing onto his shirt got up and walked out the room. Everything was blurry, everything was about to drown in darkness before his eyes. In other situations, he would kill the source of pain that caused it just in order to get rid of the agony. How ironic, why he was stopping himself? The mutant leaned on the wall from outside the room and titled head to side,

-"Something tells me,boy, you're gonna be my end.",his pupils went slit and the eyes glowed again. In order to surpass the shock in his body,he had to use his powers. Images from Daniel's past started to rush into Aros' head - none of them made sense to the mutant. He didn't know what he was seeing,but it was painful to see old wounds of someone else.

 

The corridor in the motel seemed oddly quiet, Aros turned head to the other side. He heard steps walking his way.

-"No..", he saw soldiers closing by with guns in hand. He was currently weak,dealing with the shock in his body. Ah,indeed,he knew the face walking behind the soldiers. It was Daniel's boss. So they were afraid that they'd lose their top agent and came all the way to here to get what they wanted and secure their 'treasure' - Daniel.

-"Long time no see,experiment XQ01.",the man spoke as stood before Aros' face with a grin on face.

-"I can't hide...that I am disgusted to see you again.",rude as ever Redphilious spoke with hatred,but it caused him to get a punch in his stomach from one of the soldiers. Aros coughed hard and knelt down.

-"Get him in the car,put the collar on his neck,so he can't use his powers. I will get Daniel.",the boss spoke as entered the room to wait for the agent to get out of the shower and tell him that the mission was successful and now he could rest. No way to let him know the truth and to see the experiment again. Could actually Daniel understand that the agency he worked for were actually conspirated and wanted power and to rule the world?

 

Redphilious was treated harshly to the special car that had inside its back chains enough strong to hold back the pure mutant. But why Aros has lost any will to fight?

-"Walk faster,monster!",one of the soldiers would yell at Aros,but the mutant lowered head down with closed eyes,shaking from Daniel's pain inside him. Why in such a situation he had to think about some stranger? Daniel,that boy indeed could be the end of that mutant.

It didn't take much of time for Daniel to finish up his shower, when he left the bathroom he knew that his old mentor was here, as cold as ever Daniel would look at him and raise and eyebrow "I can handle my self you know, I don't need your dogs to watch me closely." he would mumble and walk to the bedroom, he was sure that the special trained team got the male which was here just minutes ago, his eyes was rather pure cold then ever, why the hell his boss came here, he could handle himself "I hope you don't do something rushing on that person, or I will have to continue follow my mission in protecting him, even if this means to go after the agency, you know that I can handle any tiny soldier which you sent, this male is still under my protection and you better return him to me, or there will be coincidence." he would say rather harsh as he would finally finish putting cloths and take his gun placing it back on his left leg as always.

 

After a few more minutes when the black hair boy left the bedroom fully clothed he would pass his boss he knew what he will say to him that the mission was successful but he didn't really care for that he was more worried about the other male, he would take the steps for downstairs without thinking twice as he would approach the other which was treating harshly the male he would get one for the collar and pull him back "That enough you idiots, the monster here is you, not him... if you treat him like something like that of course he will be monster get in the other car I will be with him." he would commanding as always there was no soldier which would attack the young agent, they knew they wasn't match for him, he would enter at the back of the car and sit next to the other mutant and look at the others "Go!" he would as they will close the door and walk to the second car in which Daniel was suppose to get in.

 

"You surely bring a lot of trouble..." he would say sighing softly as he noticed that his boss finally came down, he would look at the other and check his collar sighing softly, he would reach down to the chains to can he remove them at least, however he won't remove the collar, he didn't want to put in danger his agency but he didn't want to the other to be treat like that "So what they want from you? As far I got it, you have a certain location to a top secret information in our agency, 'The Lost City' many people have searched for years and years and no one found it, they say that there is a technology which is lost for a very long time, but this technology is able to change the whole world, personally I don't believe in those stuffs." he would sighing and leaning backward he had trust in the other so he didn't put his guard up, if the other wanted to kill him he would do it thousand of times until now, why would he start guarding himself right now, but if the other wanted to kill him when his guard is down, then let him be his guest he don't really care it, he would close his eyes slightly to can he try and get some sleep till they traveling to the airport.

As expected the agent reacted harsh on his boss,but he couldn't harm him because if anything Daniel was the only mutant among them,so pretty much he needed him.

-"Very well, but just you know he is not a human,nor a mixed race. Be careful.",he couldn't possibly tell the boy that Aros was the first mutant ever and had pure blood running in veins, nothing to do with mixed race.

 

Sinking down in thoughts,Redphilious left them pull and push him harshly,as if he lost any interest of life.

That enough you idiots, the monster here is you, not him...

Ah,sweet memories, Aros opened his eyes and glanced towards the boy with a surprise. Daniel was the second person who has said that. Unbelievable,but true - Redphilious felt warmth flooding and breaking into his heart. How long has it been since he has heard his own heartbeat? Aros reached his slightly sweaty hand,from the previous shock, to grab onto his shirt."I feel.."

 

Things changed quick and suddenly he found himself sitting with the boy alone,having his chains taken off. Rubbing slightly his wrists, the other sighed and asked Redphilious,

So what they want from you? As far I got it, you have a certain location to a top secret information in our agency, 'The Lost City' many people have searched for years and years and no one found it, they say that there is a technology which is lost for a very long time, but this technology is able to change the whole world, personally I don't believe in those stuffs.

 

Yeah,he didn't believe,but ironically the proof of so said 'legend' was just in front of him - Redphilious.

 

The pure mutant rose his head and looked at the other,

-"..We called it "Itox",but with years it gain the name 'Lost City'. Itox is my hometown.",the moment of truth, Aros jumped quickly enough and for less than two seconds hand Daniel's gun taken out of its place. He placed it on Daniel's chest where he could hear the boy's heartbeat,

-"Until they came and took away everything from me. Unlike you,I can't die - unless I fall in love.", what the heck was wrong with Aros grinning like a psychopath? He didn't know himself. Was he afraid to die now,when he felt his heartbeat for first time in ages? Could it be that the mutant was falling for Daniel without realizing it? And in the previous case, he was forced to kill his first love because as an experiment he shouldn't feel,so his creators programmed him. Could he withstand this time his own curse?

 

A quick spin of the gun,he pointed it against his own chest this time,being inches away from Daniel's lips,

-"I am programmed to be the last guardian of Itox, and I will die as such. Your world is too fragile for creatures like us.",he didn't mean that 'us' like 'mutants', but he meant 'us' like the secret behind his own being and the lost city. A small smirk escaped him and he crashed lips roughly against Daniel's. The forceful kiss could barely let the other breathe, and Aros' fangs pointed up to bite the boy's lips. Ah,what a sweet transfer of powers, Aros just did it - he stole Daniel's powers to break the side of the car with Daniel's strength. Right now,the collar couldn't do much since Redphilious took the powers directly from the soul. When he got out,jumping on the road, he turned his head for one last time towards Daniel,

-"Take care kid, and stop playing with guns.", somehow his expression was more lively right now.

 

Back to reality,his gaze became fearsome as soldiers from the car started shooting.

-"Ahahahaha.",Aros laughed as mad,jumping on one of the signs of the street. He climbed the building,from there he used the roofs to jump and run into the kissing-goodbye-night. What a beautiful sunrise was when the rays caressed his gray hair, he looked different during the day.

Daniel would look at the other he could stop him any moment, but where was the fun in that, he would sigh softly and leave the car looking up at the other how he was trying to run, but can you run from a flying mutant? I think not, the sky would got suddenly dark and everyone around Daniel would step backward shaking fear, a thunder would crack through the rather silent place, as winds will raise the other up in the sky with pressing winds lifting up his body.

 

He would spread his hands as he would navigate the winds to start moving his body over the motel he could see now the other running over the roof top as he would spin over his own center and now turn his face up to the sky, and the winds will lead him straight towards the other "If you don't won't me to play with winds, I will play with lightnings!" he would say grinning, as the skies would start fighting and resisting and few drops of lightning bolts would land near the other trying to trip him over to the ground, the winds was quite fast and they could increase the speed of Daniel to really fast speed as the winds itself, the other would finally catch up to the other and will take him just few minutes to be on a few meters in front him, the winds will lead him to the roof top and land him there in front the other.
