The prince shook the others hand firmly and stepped back "Come on, we should get inside and gather things, storm or not we need to get going soon." He slide down and hopped off the roof, landing in a nearby snow back and laughing as he righted himself. Quickly running inside and shaking himself from the wet that clung to his hair and clothes. He tied up the bed sheets and filled them with a few pieces of fruit and some other useful supplies before hanging it around his neck so it hung off to the side.

Walking over he opened the door and smiled "Well, here we go then?" And with that they were off once more, he didn't even notice the smallest crack had appeared in the necklace he wore, as though it were foreshadowing a warning of the future that was sure to come.

Yurim floated as Ashton walked. He looked around him and wondered at the raw beauty of the landscape that was just a tad bit shy of being second to Eden. Everything around them was covered in snow and the color was a very sharp contrast against the turmoil that lied beneath.

He knew that there were other places in this realm that posed as much beauty as this place and it made him ache inside to think that if they ever were to fail, everything would burn. He stared back up the heavens, noticing that it was now clear and a brilliant shade of glittering sapphire. The Golden City never had this kind of beauty, its skies was an endless white where one could probably lose themselves in eternity. "I wonder if even the Golden City has fallen," He mumbled to himself, watching as a crow settled itself on one of the fallen trees that they were yet to pass. He looked at his companion, noticing that he was a bit paler than the other day. Maybe he's just worked up He thought to himself.

They were on the fourth hour of their travel when Yurim noticed it. They were being followed and it was no demon. Demon's were just not too skillful for them to avoid detection. No, this one was more cunning and a bit subtle. This creature knew how to hide and to hide his scent.

He moved a little bit closer to Ashton and prodded his consciousness. Do not be alarmed, it is I. We are being followed. No! Don't look behind you. The creature is skilled but is no demon. Maybe one of your kind. He crossed his hands against his chest as the Elf asked him what they should do. We wait. We pretend that we can not feel them. Be alert for they can attack at any time. They continued on like that, aware that their pursuer's numbers continued to increase. It was an hour, when their numbers grew to almost an unbearable level that they revealed themselves. Blood Parasites, they were. Pale and as cold as the landscape that they were standing on, these creatures were driven by the scent of Yurim's and Ashton's blood. And who could blame them when blood as powerful as theirs' were as intoxicating as a siren's melody.

Ashton glanced back and watched as the angel seemed to calm, he seemed almost at peace with what had happened and it caused even the prince to relax a bit as well. Smiling as he glanced towards the sky too, hearing Yurim mention The Golden City caused his young mind to wonder. I wonder what it's like there? Everything is probably all but dipped in gold, heck it may actually be dipped in gold! The idea caused the young one to laugh a bit, he heard some rumors that because elves ancestors were from angels and humans, making them a looked down upon race. All the beauty and power of a regular angel (Not a guardian one, they weren't nearly as strong) and all the free will of a human. In his opinion it was more jealousy than disgrace towards his people. He was proud of what he was, he was proud of his people...the people who were now long gone. Speaking up to comfort the Guardian "Come one, i'm sure it's stronger than that, it's probably standing proud and strong up there, right this second.

He noticed the other grow a bit rigid and assumed it was due to the cold air, shrugging it off until he heard that familiar voice in his head. Sighing in discomfort as he listened obidiantly then frowning in confusion, tilting to look back but not getting the chance as he was scolded for his curiosity.

He was greatful that Yurim moved closer to him, he didn't feel safe out here in the open like this, walking forward with his head held high and his back straight he focused on the horizon ahead. He couldn't see, hear or sence any of them but soon his necklace began to grow hot in a warning. He saw the first one and almost screamed at how close it had actually been, shufling even closer to the angel and also taking a step behind him. Raising his hands, he was prepared to make a field and use a few spells if need be and by the looks of it, need be indeed. SHe dropped the bag from his shoulder and allowed it to make a loud lump as it sunk a few inches into the snow due to it's weight. "What do we do?" Asked Ashton

"What do we do?"

There were about fifty of them and the two of them were surrounded. These creatures were more than vampires. They were stronger, faster, smarter, hungrier.

The severity of the situation made Yurim ponder Ashton's question. It was unwise for them to blindly attack. They would not be able watch each other's backs and he knew that if it came down to it, the two of them could well be in over their heads. "Be strong," He started, frowning as the creatures just stood there as if waiting for something. "Stay where you are and use as much magic as you can. I will try and protect you from the onslaught, but do not leave my side. I can use my wings to protect you."

A girl, wearing a red cape emerged from the cluster, and overly large axe in her hands.

Red Jenny. Yurim thought to himself, cursing Sammael's meddling. He pointed at her and stated, "She is their alpha. They will protect her but we have no other choice than to focus our attack on her. Be warned though, she is the strongest of them all."

Red Jenny was once an immortal human. She had been a famous general in the Kingdom of Man's armies. Unparalleled in ferocity, she had fallen from grace when she aided the demons for her personal gain of power. Sammael, one of the Lords of Shadow's Void, had taken her and corrupted her an all imaginable ways, giving her everything she wished for and taking just as many.

"If it came to that we are overwhelmed," Yurim stated in cold dread as the creatures started advancing, Red Jenny watching from behind the lines. "I want you to flee, understood?" Then the Blood Parasites attacked.

Ashton's eyes went wider and he nodded slowly, gulping as he braced himself. Watching a girl emerge he stopped, straightening up a bit as he watched her. Moving to get her away from those things but once he heard what she was he stopped cold. Looking to the angel then back to the girl and his stomach grew cold. "We are going to attack a child! Or at least someone who works like one...i'm sorry but I don't think I can do that Yurim." He went to take a steop away but froze, if he left then the angel would have to fight alone and he didn't want to let him get hurt due to his fragile heart.

He gulped slowly and nodded "I am sorry, I understand." Readying himself as best he could he was in no way prepared for the attack, the only thing he had on his side was his speed. Using his small frame and long legs he dashed between them, freezing all that appraoched him into solid ice cycles. It appeared they could tell who the stronger one was, they all attacked the angel first, knowing they would have to take him down first. Ashton went to help but remembered that the girl was the strongest and turned his gaze towards her. "I'm sorry, I can't let you kill him." He whispered softly as he lunged towards her, running out of the pack who were trying there heardlest to focus there attention on the Angel.

The girl looked up and grinned, flinging her axe and causing the boy to duck into the snow to avoid it. Using the snow and creating a frosty path all the way to her, using that path ice began to crawl up her leg. She screamed in anger at him as her axe returned to her, however she stopped for a moment, realizing who he was a small, evil grin crossed her lips as she tossed her axe once more, Ashton moved again but he didn't account for the long chain on the necklace, they crystal itself was full of power but the chain was ordinary and simle, being shredded bye the sharp edge quickly. His eyes grew wide as he cried out, falling to the ground. It felt like he was burning from the inside, meekil he tried to raise himself and reach it but she couldn't even humor him if she wanted to, for she was still stuck by the frozen ice that held her leg. His eyes watered as he went to call the angel for help, but he choked back a sob when he saw the other still had many as well and looked as though he himself may be over whelmed as well.

I should have accapted his help...in training....I guess

He slumped face first in the snow, his mind and body going quiet as he fell into uncintiousness.

Yurim watched as Ashton charged Red Jenny. "No yo-" Was the last thing he stated as he was overwhelmed, the Blood Parasites clinging to him like starved leeches. But before they could bite him, he released a shout as Armageddon appeared in his hands. He swung it in an arc in front of him, cutting almost the entire line that was blocking his view of Ashton. He turned and used his wings to scatter the gathering mob while using Armageddon to slash the remaining that refused to let go.

Then he saw Ashton fall, his necklace falling from the safety of his neck.

"However I am tied to it as it is me"

Yurim shouted, taking the Book of Life in his hands and everything around him began to hum in a display of immense power. "BURN!!" He exclaimed and instantaneously every last of the Blood Parasites that was circling him exploded in brilliant hues of fire.

The power was immense and Yurim was so tempted to give in to its desire. To destroy, but he knew he had more pressing matters in his hand than being the next tyrant. He looked at Red Jenny and took Armageddon, decapitating her in one swift and terrible arc.

Then he took the book again, willing some of its power to preserve the jewel in the necklace. To make the cords be unbreakable. And to be protected from any form of evil that dared touch it. After all of that, Yurim was exhausted. Blood, dripping down his robes and wings.

The stone hummed in the angels hand, enticing him to use it's power. An image shot through the angels mind from the necklace, the scenery around him seemed to fade, ashton, the snow and the trees all faded away and he was standing in a snow mound, looking into the room of a very yound, five year old Ashton. Even the young boy had forgotten this memory through time. The boy lay in his bed, his face a bright shade of red as he huffed, his necklace had been damaged and it was effecting him greatly. His mother reached down and stroked his soft cheek with a smile on he face ."Baby let me tell you about a prince, once upon a time there was a kingdom far far away, where a beautiful baby prince was born. However he was a sickly child and a magic rock kept him healthy, without this rock he would get sick and ...well just get sick baby. Now one day, stone or not this boy will die young, but that does not matter! For he will touch the lives of many in his life time, making him worth while. The image stopped and another appeared, it was Ashton, seeming to be the same age as he was now, laying in a pile of snow with a statue angel behind him, apparently into a graveyard. He reached up towards the sky for a moment before his hand fell to the ground and the light left his eyes, a scream from the angel could be heard even though he made no sound. At that the stone once more went cold in his hand as the preminition stopped, the snow and trees fading back in and Ashton laying on the ground face down all came back.

Yurim stumbled back and would have fallen if he wasn't afloat. That vision spoke of things that have not come to pass in Ashton's life and in a way in his. He carried the prince to him and inspected the ever growing blemish on the jewel that held his life. There was one thing that he could do so that Ashton would no longer need the aid of the jewel, but the risks were high and the price even higher. Was he, the Protector of the Well of Souls, willing to share half of his soul to this mortal? Was he willing to give up his immortality to save Ashton's fleeting life?

"That premonition will not come to pass.." Yurim stated in determination. "Not if I have anything to say about it." He stretched his wings one last time and started the Song of Life. It was a song that only the Secret Bearers knew. This song did one thing but took two things from the singer. First, it gave life to the receiver. Second and Third, it took away half the soul and immortality of the singer. And for an angel, their wings were the sign of their immortality. Yurim continued the song even though half of his mind was yelling at him to stop, his wings slowly turning midnight black then igniting in a final display of power. Then he fell to the ground, for the firs time in eons, his blood and their enemies' blood mingling together in a river of crimson liquid.

the crytals shatter split furtherduin the ristual, His face was calm until the song began. Crying out he rched away, clutching his ears as the ncklace began to grow a fuious red. The ground below them shaking hard, when it was done the prince lay stillhis face once more calm and the necklace cooling down itself as well. Everything was silent for a moment before a whispy voice rang out"Yyoung guardias should mind thre own buisness, your tim is comin as well little one,do not be in such a hurry to finish it. You and he are now bound buut nothing will change,he is to die in the exactt way as is estined. As are you." With that the voice disappeared and the crac remained as before however all that the poor angel had given up did not, he had in essance just waisted his life and wings. All was ilent throughout the forsaken land as the nclace which had spoken was silent .

Yurim walked down the hallways of the Archives. He nodded as two kids ran past him. "I wish I could be as carefree as them." He mumbled to himself.

"Why do you wish to be that carefree?" A voice asked in amusement.

Yurim stopped as he felt two arms crawl around his waist. "At least if I'm that carefree, I won't be bothered by the tribulations of the other realms." He replied as the other nuzzled his neck.

"I missed you.." The other stated, kissing his neck.

"I've just been gone for seven days, Michael." He stated in bemusement. Sometimes the other was just too needy.

"Seems like eons to me.." Michael responded in a voice that was a tad bit breathy. "Can we have some time alone?"

"Time alone?" Yurim asked playfully, turning around and rubbing his nose with the other's. "What ever do you mean?"

"You know.." He trailed off, moving his arms from Yurim's waist to his neck.

"You just want to skip your training again," Yurim smiled when Michael pouted. For all his hesitation, sometimes Michael acted like a kid. "Don't pout." He smiled, giving the other a gentle peck. "Let's go then."

Ashton shifted in bed, opening his eyes slowly as he let out a loud yawn and stretched out in his big, warm bed. Glancing over at Rosabell who lay still asleep beside him, laughing aoftly he sat up, careful not to wake the other child and climbed from the bed.

He ruffled up his hair and poked his head out of his room, all was quiet. It was one of those days in which was an epitome of the essance called Peaceful. He shuffled downstairs in his white nightgown still to the castle kitchen. Once he got closer he began to trot on his toes, not wanting to wake anyone up or get in trouble for being in or near the kitchen. Sliding through the door he noticed a basket of freash fruit and some rolls beside it, grinning wide he ran over and reached up from them, whining when he found himself to short. However he felt one set in his hand and blinked up in confusion, glancing at the guard known as Misuki, the guard gave a warm smile down at the young prince and whispered "Hurry back to your room, or you'll be caught and fed to the dragons young one!" Eyes widening Ashton nodded and ran back to his room.

Looking back on it now, the guard he had always liked had probably perished as well.

Yurim woke to the sound of crows cackling around them. He looked around, thankful that there were no predators in their current vicinity. He looked down and found himself at a loss for words. So the voice had been correct after all and everything that he did was for naught. "I'm so stupid.." He mumbled to himself. "I've given my soul and most of my power for NOTHING!" The agony in his shout was nothing compared to the disappointed that he felt. He stood, stumbling forward and falling face first to the snow covered ground. "I can't even stand properly.." He laughed depreciatingly at himself. "Probably can't even walk too.." He added as an afterthought.

Yurim settled on his back, looking at Ashton with eyes that were full of confusing and contrary emotions. "I should have just declined when the assembly tasked me to be the Protector." He sighed softly. It wasn't that he was afraid of dying, it was the dying that scared him if anything else. "How are we supposed to beat the Holder of the pages when I'm now as powerless as him? And to make things worse, Sammael will be constantly sending his 'pets' to attack us. If we barely survived his first attack, how are we to survive the following ones that are sure to be even more powerful?" He looked at the heavens, noticing that the clouds were constantly chasing each other. Yurim covered his face with his hands when he felt the gravity of their situation closing in on him. He screamed, tears falling down his bloodied cheeks.

Dark...it's dark..why is it so dark?....

Ashtons voice echoed through his otherwise silent mind, looking around he saw nothing, all was black and bleak. Although instead of being scared he was calm. There was a sence of peace in there are, though nothing could help him escape, he had a feeling nothing could get in to harm him either.

This is okay now right? I must be dead, at least it's finally quiet.

Poor little one...

Ashton jumped, looking around in the empty abyss that was his soul as he spoke W-who said that? How are you here? Get out right now.The idea of having something else inside him unnerved him to no end. He felt a sudden warmth on his back, swinging towards it he gasped at what he saw. It was a light, but in the outline of a human it seemed, however no features could be visable to the young boy. It reached towards ehim and he could do nothing but stand still as in front of him a pool of reflection appeared. The figure pointed to it and Ashton watched obidiantly.

In the reflection he saw himself, a scared little boy who tried to take on the world, but the figure dipped a finger in the pool. It cleared to show Yurim, screaming and crying a trail of blood on the ground, Ashton looked up and yelled.

You! What have you done to him! Leave him alone!

Oh my dear little one, I have done nothing, he risked his all to save you, a meke little prince from the human world. It was all for naught, but he still gave all up. It is time for you to decide. I can end it all right now, you can rest for eternity in peace, or you can return to his side and use the remaining time to save all those who have forsaken your kind...if you chose to stay here, simply back away from the pool, if you choice the angel then fall into the pool.

And with that the voice was gone, he thought back to all the two had been through even though they had only just met, and almost went in but he weighed the comfort od this beautifully restful place. Then he decided, taking a step back he watched as the pool began to close. But the image of Yurim, eating the orage, the pure innocence of the situation caused him to run back and dive into the pool. Then, all was silent in his heart, soul and mind.

Ashton gasped, flying up onto his feet gasping. Looking around to see he was back in the real world, feeling the icy cold bite at his skin he sighed in relief. Seeing the other on the ground, covered in blood and crying he sighed as he walked over and knelt beside him silently. Reaching down and pulling the hands away from Yurim's eyes, looking right into the angels beautiful eyes he gave the most reassuring smile he could muster and reached down, wipping the blood from the others cheeks and eyes. "Come on, we have work to do."

"Come on, we have work to do."

Yurim looked at Ashton's face and slapped the other's hand away. "Why bother?" He stated, turning his head to the side so as not to look the other in the eye. "I have lost. Lilith won. Why bother when failure would only be the result?" He grumbled, wiping a few of the tears that continued to fall. "I'm as weak as you are now..Why prolong the inevitable? Why continue at all?" He chuckled pathetically. "I've been so accustomed in floating that I can't even stand up!!" He shouted in misery as all traces of emotion and life left his eyes. And he stopped breathing.

Yurim blinked. Where had Ashton gone? Where was he for that matter. I'm probably in the Abyss. He thought to himself. Just as well, I deserve this.

"Come now, Keeper." A familiar voice snapped Yurim out of his reverie. "The Yurim that half of our realm fears would not say something like that."

"What do you want, Sammael?" Yurim asked, gritting his teeth in annoyance.

"Keeper, you constantly wound me." The demon stated in an overly dramatic fashion. "You don not comprehend the power of the book." Sammael growled, his face mere inches from the angel's. "You do not know the potential that is in your grasp!"

"It is YOU who doesn't know, Sammael." Yurim stated just as furiously. "I know that it holds power beyond comprehension, but it comes with a prize!" He snarled, glaring at the overly large demon. "I will not be shamed any longer than I currently am by falling in the influence of the book!"

"Ah," Sammael laughed and it was a terrible, terrible sound. "Those are but lies given by the assembly to control you!" He sighed. "Why do you think the assembly scattered some of the pages?" He lifted a small piece of paper and Yurim fought hard not to reach out and take it. "They feared that you would use it for your own gain and become a tyrant, more powerful than the Dark Prince himself."

"Why should I believe you?" Yurim narrowed his eyes, as Sammael turned his back to him. "Why do you think that I'd even believe you?"

"Ah, but Keeper," And here He laughed again. "You are already doubting. And that counts for something."

"Why are you telling me all of this?" Yurim whispered. Sammael's words were true. He was starting to doubt the assembly.

"Why would I not?" He asked with a chuckle. "It's fun fighting with you...and it would be I who would end your currently miserable life." He looked back, fire burning in his eyes. "There is still hope for your young Prince. There is still a way to remove his curse."

Yurim gasped, his eyes focusing on a worried Ashton's face as he inhaled much needed air. "The curse." He slowly whispered.

Ashton saw the other go limp and all but screamed in agony, jumping on him and straddling his waist. "As weak as me?! Who is the one who is giving up here? You! Your the weak pathetic one here you know! You don't know a thing a bout me! So stop assuming i'm weak, i'll show you what I can do I will! But you have to wake up for me to do that! You promised to do what I said as long as I did in return didn't you?! Then i'm telling you, right now, wake up Yurim!" His voice rang through the air and sent a nearby flock of birds flying high into the sky.

Almost crying when he saw the others eyes slide open slowly, reaching up he punched the other in the face. "You think you can give up! No, if you ever do that again I will never forgive you, understand?!" He climbed to his feet and stormed off towards the direction they had been heading before, leaving the supplied scatterd in his wake where they had fallen before.

Yurim blinked, wondering why his cheek was stinging. He looked around and saw Ashton walking.....probably stalking...away. Did he even hear what I just said? He thought to himself. "Ashton!" He called. "Ashton!" He called again when he felt that the other had not stopped. "ASHTON! I can't walk! Not yet anyways!" He sighed, already wishing that he had his wings back. I will not use the book unless it is absolutely necessary. He thought to himself as he felt a shadow loom over him. "Help me up, will you." Yurim raised his hand up and frowned when the other did not take it. "What is it this time? Wanna beat me up because I called you weak? Wanna step down on me and crush me to tiny bits? Wanna slap me again?" He stated in annoyance. He knew that it wasn't Ashton's fault that he was now where he was, but he just couldn't stop himself from lashing out. He was frustrated, dammit! "Hate me and I won't even hate you back.." He whispered dejectedly.

Ashton heard the other yelling for him, he continued to stalk through the snow. He was so mad, he came back. He could have stayed in that nice, subtle, calm place but no, he just came back and watched the other give up on him! He growled under his breath and stomped to a halt, turning and stalking back to stand by the other. "Do I want to? Oh, yes I do. Am I going to?..... Just wait here." He muttered as he stepped back, closing his eyes and stretching, however he seemed to stretch and stretch, his body merging and morphing, and where the young prince stood was now a stallion, white and pure as snow. Trotting over it knelt to the ground, motioning for the other to cimb on it, after he had he took off at a dead run through the vast stretch of woods. The angel was weak now, he coould become ill and things around here got colder at night, he ran and ran, trying to make it to the nearest town before the sun went down.

Yurim smiled tiredly to himself. "I'm sorry.." He whispered silently, stoking Ashton's neck as the other continued to gallop as fast as he could. "I'm really sorry that all of this has happened." He sighed, deftly stroking his fingers on the mane that was in front of him. "I'm just sad and confused at the moment. Without my wings, we will not be able to set foot in Eden. And I just shamed myself in the entire angelic community by failing in my attempt to help you." He whispered softly, his eyes dropping as if they were made of lead. "But I'm still certain of one thing though," Yurim yawned, his hand stilling in its soft motion. "I will remove your curse, if it takes me my entire mortal life..." Then he fell into the darkness that was his dreams.

Ashton felt the boy on his back slacken and knew he had fall asleep. He made it to the gates of the first city and slowed down to a trot, morphing back and holding the other up lightly, with his arm across his shoulder. "Halt! Who wants to enter" Ashton spoke through gritted teeth, "Ashton, I would like fodo and shelter for the knight" When they refused to move he got angry, setting the other to the ground lightly and stepping into the light, dropping his glamour and yelling. "My name is Ashton, you will give me a place to stay, I am a prince of tthe eastern Kingdom!" With that the elves scattered, most of this city was humans who didn't know what they had intermingled in there mists. The elves scrambled to open the gates and rushed out, picking up the fallen angel and bringing himn inside to warm and feed him when he woke. Ashton followed silently and went with them, they were placed in a signle room and Yurim was laid on the bed still asleep while ashton walked to the little kitchen, opening the freezer and sticking his head in sighing. He was starting to get a bit hot.

"This book contains the secrets of life." The Archon stated, caressing the covers of The Book of Life, like it was some kind of fragile piece of china. "It has tremendous power and if you're not careful that power could overwhelm you." He smiled if a bit grimly, giving the book to Yurim's outstretched hands. "Take good care of it, Keeper."

Yurim had nodded in silent detachment, not really understanding why some of the Council members looked at him in a way that was not entirely pleasant. "I will bear this responsibility for as long as I endure and will take great care to never using it."

"Some of it's pages had been scattered in the realm of man," The Archon continued. "So that if Demons were to take hold of it, they will not have the entirety of it's power."

"Those are but lies given by the assembly to control you!"

"We expect you to keep it away from those who would rather use it's power to bring calamity."

"Why do you think the assembly scattered some of the pages?"

"So that if Demons were to take hold of it, they will not have the entirety of it's power."

Yurim woke to a bright and sunny morning, not a cloud in the sky and the birds were singing.

He looked around and spotted the Prince sleeping in a corner of the room. He approached him, slowly as if walking towards a wild creature that could run or pounce at any time. Then, he was i front of him, Yurim placing a blanket on the slightly shivering elf. Just when he was about to go back to the bed, he felt it. Ashton was burning up! Yurim quickly crouched in front of him, taking his forehead in his palms. His temperature was high, higher beyond what was normal. "What am I supposed to do now?" He asked himself, wondering what he could do to help.

Aston yawned wide, having such a deep and not dreaming sleep was so rare for the prince lately that he woke up feeling a lot more refreashed. His eyes were a shade darker than they usually were but considering everything he was feeling pretty good, however he did noticed that he felt hot and even was begining to feel a little sluggish even though he had only been awake for about two minutes. Looking around for a moment he noticed the angel, with a rather distant, in deep thought face. He frowned and shifted up in his seat, yawning softly and walking over to him, tugging his sleeve lightly to get his attention. It was a rather childish and familiar act but he was simply to sluggish to care. "Hm, what's wrong, did you catch a cold? I honestly tried to get you here before you got to cold. "He looked up at the other with curious eyes.

Yurim heard Ashton's question but he was too preoccupied to respond just yet. What was the curse that Sammael spoke? And what was the solution? He looked up and noticed that the prince was a bit sluggish in his movements and that his temperature had not receded. "You are not well." He stated, letting the other sit beside him. "You are slowly weakening with each passing day," Then he amended his statement. "Maybe each passing hour." He looked out the window and noticed that it was bright and sunny outside. "We need to find the cure or maybe solution for that. I don't know if the book will be able to help but we could start with that." He looked at the Prince's eyes and noticed that they were a bit distant and a shade darker than he first saw them. "Has anyone told you anything about your condition?" Yurim asked, wondering if it was a good idea to breach such personal subjects.

Ashton's ear's drooped slightly when the other took in his over all appearance, smiling softly as he leaned against the wall and spoke. "Only a few things, I was supposed to die when I was a child anyway, the fact that I am even still alive now is a blessing, it isn't something that can be changed so don't worry about it,as long as I stay cool it will slow everything down." He stood and rearanged his hair as he headed to the door and motioned to Yurim "Anyway, let's get going, we need to find that first page, we still have seven more to go after that. I overheard that there is a cave that has been giving off a strange aura nearby here, perhaps it's better we start there." He spoke as he tossed a peice of fabric towards the angel. "Oh, and put that on. Your pretty much human now so you have to wear that to stay warm, it's called a coat."

Yurim looked at the offered piece of clothing and frowned, noticing that he was not wearing his usual robes. "Where are my robes?" He asked, keeping his voice from rising. "I need those robes," He stood, staggering a bit as he did so. "They are sturdier than they appear and I would appreciate it if they are returned to me." He scowled, noting that most humans never really had personal connections to their garments. Yurim looked at the other as Ashton nodded in acknowledgement, walking out the room and leading him to various hallways. He really didn't know what they would do when they found the keeper of the first page, he just hoped that the holder would not be too much affected by the power of the page. He sighed, using his hand to support himself on a nearby wall as the Elf prince stopped in front of a wooden door. He nodded as the prince casually knocked on the door twice and leaned on a wall nearby. Yurim entered as the door opened and saw that there were other elves in the room, most of them stopping what they were doing to look at him. He groaned inwardly as he spotted his robe, looking clean and dry. He totally forgot that said robe was twice longer that he was. "I'll just have to modify it." He mumbled to himself as he gathered it in his arms. "Shall we?" He stated to the Prince as he exited the room.

Ashton looked at the other in mild annoyance and sighed, bringing a hand to the bridge of his nose and seemingly trying to pinch the stress away. Shifting around as he nodded slowly "Yes, it's down the hall way in the coat room I think. It's been cleaned I think, it had some blood and dirt on it and was a bit tattered. So it was also a sewed up a bit." Glancing over at him he noted that the robe was likely to not have fit due to the size change but discarded the idea anyway.Knocking on the door twice and stepping in to retrieve the freasher garments for the other and getting himself a pair of normal, human jeans and a T-shirt that was black. Despite the cold it was important that he did not over heat right now. Stepping back out as he handed Yurim the robes and smiled "There you go, there likely going to be a bit big though...and it will be rather hard for you to fit in with those on." As he spoke he made his way down to the foyer "Alright, so where to?'
