~Ashton~
Ashton's sleep was deep and dreamless, he would not remember ever sleeping that well before. He murmured softly, shifting a bit as he fluttered his eyes open. Letting out a long yawn that showed off his pristine teeth he could feel a rythmatic Ba-bump..Ba-bump... For a moment he stiffened, trying to locate the source of the noise and vibration. However he calmed and even smiled a bit as he found it to be coming from the angel's constant heart beat, for a moment he considered allowing it to lull him back to sleep. But the thought of food struck him and he glanced up at Yurim, the angel would likely be hungry after there earlier activities and it was a great deal his fault. With an ever present blush on his cheeks he slowly untangled himself from the others protective arms, not without hesitation at that. He silently crawled away from Yurim and gathers his clothing, pulling them onto himself and adjusting them. Then pulling his shoes and lastly his lithe white coat on his shoulders, thinking for a moment and summoning up a scarf as well then a pair of white snow boots. Being an elf, even one who could not use much glamour or magic, came in handy. In contrast he brought fourth a dark black jacket and boots, both larger than his own as well as some pants and a shirt then set them besides the Angel. As A last thought he changed the colors to white for Yurim as well, this way they would be able to seemingly blend into the surroundings. He quickly leaned over, kissing the others forehead (Thanking god Yurim was still asleep) he headed out of the mouth of the cave. He crunched through the snow and smiled, plopping down besides a bush with bright red berries. He began to hum as he plucked then off one by one and settled them in a pouch that rest against his hip. 707
Yurim groaned, feeling a lot colder than necessary. Why was it so cold? Where had his very comfortable blanket gone? Where had Ashton- He opened his eyes and immediately stood, hitting his head against the roof of the small cave in the process. Yurim cradled his bruised head in his arms, noticing the neatly folded clothes beside him. It occurred to him that the elf must have gone out to gather some food, and at that thought, his stomach began to rumble. "How peculiar." He stated to himself, resting his palm against his navel. "This has never happened before." Then he remembered that Ashton had told him once that mortals needed to eat, else they get hungry. Yurim sighed, nodding to himself at the implication of that train of thought. He was a mortal now. "No matter." He stated slightly to no one in particular, grabbing the nearby clothes and putting them on. "Now, where has my little elf gone to?" He asked himself as he exited the cave, smiling lightly as he immediately found his query on a nearby bush, picking some berries. He trudged silently behind the prince, making sure that he wasn't noticed. Yurim smiled, bending slightly and kissing Ashton's nape. "Hey." ~Ashton~
Ashton hummed softly to himself as he continued plucking the colorful barres that stood but against the bleak white landscape and resting them in the pouch, not without eating a few here and there. He was to involved in his task to here the constant 'crunch crunch crunch of the others footsteps slowly approaching, and if it had been anyone but his Yurim it would have proved to be deadly. He stopped momentarily and brought his gaze up to the sky, allowing his thoughts to drift back to his home and how different it was from this one. His home had been warm, warm yellows and golden tans swam through his mind and the contrast of a harshly bright white and dull grays collided. This place certainly was different, however he was happy. It was not due to the place itself but who he was with. He felt himself hauled to his feet by a gloved hand and slammed against a nearby tree, opening his mouth to cry out for the other but feeling himself cut off he stopped. Growling as he tried to see what was holding him. An ancient voice soothed his ears, causing him to slow his struggling. You little one will kill the Angel, he holds to much of a threat against the distruction of this earth and you nor he will stand in the way. The boy was frightened but for some reason he could not fathom he was calm. Ending as quickly as it hd started he sat back in front of the bush, a cool blad pressing against his thigh and he knew what it was for. He was going to kill the Angel. He sat back on his heels and blinked in suprise as he felt warmth trail down his cheeks, reaching up he felt his cheeks and frowned when his fingers came away wet. He jumped slightly as he felt the warm lips press against his neck, turning his head and mutely before smiling softly and kissing the others nose. "Hey there, did you rest well? I got us some food." He brought a berry up and pressed it to Yurims lips.
707
Yurim smiled lightly, taking a bite of the proffered item and swallowed a moan as flavors sang against his tongue. The fruit, as is his guess, was so small but the flavors were very diverse. It was so very fascinating. A very small fruit which carried so much flavor in them. He wondered if fruits were varied and if the flavors presented distinction from their size. He shrugged lightly, more to himself, as he looked at the heavens. "We need all the strength we can get," He began, his expression growing serious. "The first page is near and we don't have any idea who - or what is guarding it." He frowned. "After we collect it, I'm gonna teach you how to use Illumination so that you won't need to expend unnecessary energy in doing magic." Yurim bent down and kissed Ashton's hair. "I'll be at the cave, preparing the fire." Were his words as he went.
~Ashton~
Ashton smiled softly, his memory shifting back to when the other had first tried fruit and the delicious moan that had elicited from his lips. He had laughed so hard that day and knew that many more memorable moments were still going to pass between the two, laughing softly and nodding as he stuck a plump berry between his own lips. Following Yurims gaze to the sky he began to wonder where the other had come from, what was it like up there above the clouds, in hevean? Would Ashton even be going to heaven at this point? It was not as though he had done anything so worthy of the holy eternity that the thoughts of heaven brought on. He had to admit, it would be nice though, to live up there with Yurim every day without any problems. However as soon as the thought went into his mind it vanished, the smaller boy pushing it away as he figured it would be impossible and there was no need to want something so out of his reach.Smiling softly as he felt the familiar lips press to his hair, turning to nod up at Yurim as he readied himself. "Alright, we can handle this okay? So don't worry so much about it, as long as i'm here I won't let anything happen to you." He murmured softly as he watched the other recessed towards the cave, reaching down he gathered the berries and took off back towards the cave as well.
