"Hey...idiot...get up or you'll get sick."

Azhi opened up his eyes and sniffed the air, as was his daily ritual when he woke. Then he smelled it. Blood. It was different though. Not human. He looked to the side and had to gasp. There was William. Bleeding. But Azhi was not worried, he recognized that smell.

"A Vampire, huh?" He grinned in satisfaction as the other glared at him. "Don't worry," Azhi stated, raising his hand in a placating gesture. "I'm not gonna tell anyone."

Now he understood why William was so fast and why he seemed so enclosed to himself. Azhi nodded lightly to himself, noting that the other's wounds were not healing as quickly as he was led to believe. Either that or he needed to feed. He could let the other feed on him, but it was a crime in their clan to taste or drink a Pure's blood. He really didn't care at the moment, but the hesitation was still there. If he allowed the other, William could get addicted to his blood. Maybe even lust for it. For the blood of a Pure was the best there is, human blood was nowhere in comparison.

Azhi cleared his throat and did the inevitable. "You're not healing. Do you want to...you know...drink from me?" He finished lamely, extending his right wrist in front of William.

William at first was worried, moving forward to brush some snow from the others hair then freezing when he heard the words leave the mans mouth. He jerked back noticeably, his face did not read anger in the slightest, but it did read shock.

He allowed himself to slacken a bit, his lips hanging open as he fell back a bit. All of the promises about staying hidden he had made to his mother and father were ruined now, and it was all because of his stupid, arrogant, disrespectful brother!

Then he stopped, if the other had been asleep, how did he know what had happened, how was he so accurate in his assumption that William was a vampire. For a moment he considered just denying the accusation flat out, but when the wrist was placed in front of him he froze. He could practically feel the warmth seeping from the boys skin, he almost wanted to reach out and touch it, as much as he wanted to sink his teeth into it. He shook his head. "No....go back to your dorm." He growled softly, moving to leave and kneeling down clutching his chest as he felt it contract a bit. Coughing lightly his body moved, he no longer had a choice in the matter. He turned and wrapped his arms around Azhi, not even taking note of the wrist that was offered to him. Anyone who say them would have thought they were lovers in a tight embrace, only those who looked closer would see Williams fangs extending as the scrapped against the others neck, holding Azhi's head back by a tight grip to his hair he bite down and immediately he could feel the heart beat of the other, and he also knew that it was beating for to fast to be a humans. However his mind was to evolved to figure out what was happening, he just drank, the liquid was the most intoxicating he had ever had before. This human was immacuate....no...this was to pure to be human blood.

"No....go back to your dorm."

Azhi made to stand but got the surprise of his life when William clutched at him and bit his neck. This was bad. Very bad. If William had used his wrist to feed, the addiction could be prevented, the blood there being less more potent. But on his neck, where his blood was nearer to his heart, the blood was more potent, making it more addictive. He would be lucky if William would be able to revert back to feeding on human blood, but he doubted it.

"Wi-William!" He reprimanded, but the other seemed to have not heard him or he just chose to ignore it. "William stop!" He wriggled but it was futile. Then he growled as his gums bled.

Azhi bared his fangs and boldly threw the vampire off of him, his eyes bleeding from red to gold as he shifted halfway to being a Werewolf. "I said stop!" He growled, standing as he rubbed the tender spot on his neck. It was no problem, it would heal in a few minutes. "I will let this go this time." He growled with an air of finality that only an Alpha could muster. "Next time if you do not listen to me, I will readily rip your arms off of you." He gave a warning growl, spinning around and entering the school halls.

Azhi rested his head against the wall, just beside the door he entered as he willed himself to return to normal. Then he began to chuckle. He had just given William the permission to drink from him. He winced slightly as his body shifted back. The nearer the full moon arrived, the more painful his shifting became. He sighed, he just needed to get used to it.

Azhi pushed away from the wall with a grimace, intending to go back to his and Relius' room to have his well deserved rest. He just hoped that William wouldn't come looking for him when was asleep and maybe tomorrow too. He didn't want the entire school to know that there were creatures like them. It was against the Law to expose their identity to humans.

William kept his hand curled in the others hair, clinging to him greedily. He was suffocating, he needed more, so much more. He felt himself thrown back and landed on his feet with ease, blood dotting the snow between them and ruining it's innocence. His expression did not falter as he was yelled at, not showing a hint of regret nor sympathy. What did the other expect after all? He was a vampire. He stood with his back straight and all the grace of a noble vampire until the other was far enough away to not see nor hear him.

Once he was, William with all the pride and glory of the vampire he was, he fell to the ground. They would smell it on him and know, that he had taken the blood from the wolf.

It would end up in death, all he knew was that he owed Azhel big time, the wolf had helped him and would likely die for doing it.He sat back in the snow and looked at the blood that was running down his chin, bringing his hand to his lips and wiping it clean then licking his finger, then biting into it hard enough that there was a loud crack as he help in a scream. He could not get near his family now, not until the blood had passed through his system.

HE also knew what the blood would do to him, when it was said that werewolves and vampires were destined to be enemies it was true, down to there blood. The blood of a werewolf would quicken the suffocation of the vampires blood, causing them to either suffocate from lack of blood because no matter how much blood they drank the wolf blood would nutrilize it's effects, or they would have to drink from the wolf to stay alive.

He would come to yearn, to crave it and that idea would be the death of one or the other. He felt a hand grip his arm and looked up to see Eric glaring down at him, and he yanked him off towards his room, leaving the blood on the ground. The cross that William wore around his neck, left in the snow.

Azhi entered their room, removing his shirt and folding it neatly before putting it in his hamper. He looked at himself in the mirror and had to sigh in relief when he saw that the bite mark was no longer there. He grabbed one of his pockets and had to frown. He swore that he placed his phone there. Then realization hit him. It must have fallen when he rolled down the bench.

Blushing lightly at his own clumsiness, he decided that this was the best time to go get it. He really didn't care if William was still there and he wasn't the type of guy to ignore the people who upset him. And in reality, he wasn't upset at the blond.

He padded, barefoot and only wearing his pants, through the now familiar hallways of the school as he easily retraced his steps. He arrived at his destination and immediately spotted his phone, it was a bit wet but it'll survive. He was about to return inside when he spotted something that glittered under the dim moonlight.

It was the necklace of William.

Azhi turned back and picked it up, rubbing off the blood that stained it. He sighed, knowing that he needed to return it as soon as possible. And that meant he needed to return it that same night. He sighed and mentally cursed himself and his sometimes annoying personality. He didn't know where William's room was, but he could just follow the blond's scent from his necklace. Then he cringed at the thought that he was acting like a dog.

He gave it a tentative sniff, smirking slightly as he easily detected the owner. He sprinted back inside and through the halls, his steps never even making a sound. He just hoped that William would be grateful to him returning the necklace.

He arrived at the door and knocked, absolutely sure that William was inside. And he was not mistaken when the blond opened the door. "You left your necklace." Azhi mumbled extending the piece of jewelry to the other.

Eric hauled the smaller boy by his upper arm all the way threw the school until they were Williams room. He literally tossed the disoriented boy into the room who promptly crashed into his room mate and the two both stumbled to the floor in a heap. William shook his head lightly and glanced down at the room mate who was giving him a confused and rather annoyed look. Immediately the blood beneath the boys veins throbbed.

Causing William's eyes to widen a bit as he jumped back, plastering himself on the far wall of the room as he covered his mouth and choked back a cough to disguise his fangs. Eric growled lightly as he stepped forward and threw William back down onto the startled room mate.

Eric placed his foot onto Williams back to hold him down on the other boy. "Drink, go ahead? Why not this one? You drank the blood of that other human, so why the hell not just drink this one too?! You think yourself so much better than the rest of us? No, you are nothing. Nothing more than a sick excuse for a vampire. What will Mum and Dad do when they hear of your little mishap? Surely they will not leave you to your own devices."

Something inside William snapped as he lunged at Eric, the two slammed into and through the wall that led to there rooms bathroom. Tumbling to the floor in a heap of snarls and snaps, William slammed the other against the shower stall wall. Causing water to rain down upon the two and even with their inhuman grace they stumbled back onto the ground from the slick floor. Eric however got in a very accurite hit onto the others chest, causing Will to reel back and caugh as he gasped for air.

They prepared to go at it once more however froze when they heard the knock at the door, William could go to his brothers with the distraction! He jumped up and ran for the door, just before he jerked it open he heard a thump. Freezing with his hand on the knob that led to safety to turn and see Eric holding the others room mate a good three feet off the ground, the innocent boy flailed in the air as Eric hissed. "Send them away and shut the door or so help me I will snap his little neck."

The flailing boys eyes went wider, if that was even possibly, as he gave William a seering look for help. With that one look, Will knew he could not just leave him. Nodding slightly the soaking wet and very tired boy creaked the door open to see who was making this night more complicated. He nearly collapsed when he saw who it was, he blinked his surprise away and reached forward, taking the necklace with cold, slick fingers and frowned when it slipped from his shaky grip. Without even looking at the other he bent down to pick it up once more.

Azhi had prepared himself for his meeting with William, but nothing had prepared him at the sight of a soaking wet blond, covered with blood and scratches. He was about to ask what happened when the other bent to retrieve his necklace, but found himself unable to do so, seeing that someone was holding someone three feet off the ground. And he knew that the raven was a vampire. The guy reeked of bloodlust. Azhi had never moved so fast in his life.

He slammed him against the wall, his captive falling down his knees and hitting his head on the frame of their bed, rendering him unconscious. Azhi snarled, gums and fingers bleeding as his fangs and claws extended, his eyes turning to molten gold in color. He gripped the raven's neck with his left hand and rendered the other's left arm immobile with his right, with grip strong enough to crush bones.

He growled and it was so low that no human could have heard it, his own bloodlust rising as it fed directly from his rage. How dare this vampire treat someone lesser than he as a means to control others! How dare he expose their kind! Azhi had never been so mad in his entire life and the Pure in him howled in triumph, wanting nothing more than to tear something apart.

He threw the other against the opposite wall, hard enough to leave deep indentations as their deadly dance began.

William took the necklace in his hands and pressed it against the palm of his hand. He watched the others eyes gleam over with anger and frowned in confusion, trying to see what was wrong however he froze when he noted the wolves gaze was not directed at him but behind him. He instantly knew that Azhi must have seen the vampire and hostage behind him and his shoulders stiffened instantly. He did not move fast enough before Azhi was behind him with his brother high in the air.

His eyes widened mutely for a moment as he watched Eric's eyes glimmer with hatred and pure disgust at the fact that a mutt felt he had the right to even lay eyes on nobility. He dropped his necklace to kneel by the humans side, bending down to feel the mans neck for a pulse and notibly sighing when he found one. Standing slowly he contemplated his next move as he used his foot to shift the human under the bed, for he knew things were about to get messy. To fight with his brother who was surely going to kill him sooner or later or a dog in which he knew he should hate and really could not manage to do so.

His voice was low and commanding, using all of the head of house manor he could manage as he took a step towards Azhi. "You will put him down right now and will go back to your room or your family and friends and forget this night and all of the mistakes with in it." Reaching up he was about to yank the other but was forced to lean quickly as his brother was sprung through the air, he immediately stood in front of Eric slumped against the wall for a moment before attempting to stand back up.

"Azhi! Leave! Now!" He growled as the scent of his brothers blood hit his nose once more and he knew his other brothers would quickly be coming to inspect what happened. William stepped back and kicked back so his foot pinned the half conscious squirming vampire beneath him.

"Azhi! Leave! Now!"

Azhi growled, stalking towards where William stood and stopped just mere inches away from the blond. Bloodlust was still apparent but he was trying to control it best as he could and even though it look futile on the outside, from the inside it was working. Little by little his rage began subside as his fangs and claws retracted in a slow and almost agonizing shifting of bones and muscles. Azhi closed his eyes and waited for the pain to recede, his body shaking lightly in a suppressed grimace.

He shuddered and the pain receded to a dull throb as he opened his eyes and stared at William's, willing the other to challenge him further. When nothing was forthcoming, Azhi nodded and in a movement so quick, human and even vampire's eyes would not even have followed it, he bent and placed a tentative kiss on William's forehead.

"Take care of yourself," He stated lightly as he walked past the blond. "And remember that you guys are not the most powerful creatures in this school, nor the fastest." He opened the door, gave one last look at William and walked through the darkened hallways of their school. After such events, Azhi had no inclination of going to sleep, so he walked. And walked. And walked.

It took a lot of the young boys strength to remain calm, mute and unmoving when the other approached him with such a look of hate in his eyes. Despite himself he was growing fond of the other already and now even that dream had been short lived due to his idiotic, annoyance of a brother. William held his breath as he kept a steady gaze straight into Azhi's own eyes, subtly his lithe hands curled into balls at his side. More to keep his own anger in check than to prepare for any type of fight for he did not see any real harm in the boy in front of him.

Yes this was just a boy that stood before him, part dog or not this was just the idiot who he had watched run off in a fit earlier and had been idiotic enough to fall asleep outside in the snow of all places! This was the boy that even moments after he had discovered William being his natural enemy a vampire, ran all the way through the school to return a simple necklace.

It was because of all the brief factors that William did not so much as raise a fist to protect himself as he watched Azhi's form shift back to completely human, although the menacing look did not leave his eyes it still allowed William to relax a bit more. He matched the others look of dare with a mute one, only did he flinch when he felt soft lips press to his damp forehead. Catching him off guard the smaller boy froze, his lips parting a bit and his eyes widening in confusion and watched the other walk out the door. The only thing that muttered from his lips were a simple "....Not the fastest or the strongest?...What a cocky guy..." He murmured as his elder brother slipped from behind the stunned boy and shot out the window and into the darkness.

Azhi sat himself on a bench just near the southern edge of the frozen lake, ways a bit away from the school. He knew that it was not a good idea to go so far away from the school but he just needed to think. He looked up at the almost full moon and sighed. He just hoped that nothing of what happened that night would be found out by someone else. It was complicated enough knowing that there were Vampires in the same school that he was in and it would be worse if things got out.

He sighed, picked one pebble and threw it to wards the lake. It bounced against the frozen water before sliding somewhere far off, making a dull thunk as it hit some stuck wood or rock.

"I probably need to get back," Azhi mumbled to himself. "Relius might wake up and find me missing. He's gonna overreact and probably scold me when I return." Although his words would be true, he never moved from his spot as he continued to gaze at the moon.

William sighed softly, bringing his hands to his face and rubbing his forehead softly as he began to walk through the hall ways. He had fixed pretty much everything in the small room and put his room mater back onto the bed after bandaging the humans wounds. He needed to find where his troublemaker of a brother had scampered off to, heaving open the heavy wooden doors that led outside. Looking around he began to crunch through the snow, it had actually seemed to lighten up a bit from before. He allowed his mind to drift to all the events that had unfolded that very night.

Stopping in his tracks as he noticed the outline of someone sitting by the schools lake, frowning in confusion he took a few steps forward to try and decifer the boy in from of him and sighing in relief when he saw who it was.

He had no idea if the other was even alright after the earlier events and now seeing him at least standing stright he knew there could not be any really bad injuries. Reaching up he clasped the necklace that hung around his neck as he slowly walked towards Azhi, stopping beside him and giving a few minutes peace before he spoke. "I am very sorry for the actions my brother and I just did." He murmured the words softly.
