The Great King of Avelon ((Yujiko x Akiravadel))

After a few hours of training Taki called the training over for the day, "alright everyone rest up and we'll begin again tomorrow." The blond picked up his sword and placed it on the rack then turned to Takehiko, "you really are an amazing warrior."

 

The blond smirked and turned with a learning sword in hand, "though I still don't know if you could beat me." He swung the sword at him. Still having trouble admitting defeat he wanted to have another go wondering if the other would give him his all.

[Yujiko]

The older dodged the swing with ease," Oh. I see the Prince would like to dance with me once again... Hmm?" Takehiko smirked as he unsheathed his sword. "Beauty before age, Sire..."

 

The knight already began playing all the different scenarios out in his head, ones that evolved every variable and factor he could imagine.

Taki smirked knowing the other was good, but so was he. He had trained since a young boy and had fought many opponents. The blond stepped forward swinging the sword down ready to kick on the follow through. This was a lot of fun for him. It wasn't like there was much to do as prince of a kingdom. This was how he got his energy out.

 

Along the side knights watched in awe that the prince wanted to fight his knight.

The knight's sword met with the prince's going the opposite direction, preventing him from continuing with a leg sweep. The knight slid his sword off of the Prince's as he flipped his grip, holding it with one hand. He was now holding the blade facing down and along his forearm. This wasn't a common action taken, but, by this knight alone. He taught himself this style. Defensive countering was it's focus.

 

The knight thrust his angled blade against the prince's, he then swooped it to the left turning so he could bring the opposing blade to the ground. The knight took his back leg and kick up, knocking the blade free. With a quick spin the knight held both blades to the Prince. But, with two blades, he knew his movement would become limited. He was hoping for the prince to retrieve another blade.

The moment the blade was gone he turned back grabbing another blade and slide stepped away from being trapped. He swung his sword multiple times trying to throw the other off or have him concentrate more on those attacks. Light beads of sweat glistened down his face as he stepped towards him and turned his body to put more force into his swings. For a little guy he held a lot of power behind those hits because he knew how to push his strength into them.

"CLANK, CLANK" The blades clashed as the knight changed their direction, gracefully, as if dancing. If one were to pull his mind from combat, which takes a lot, then they could win. But this would take something emotional rather than physical. The knight averted one last strike just before sweeping the feet from below the other, making him land on his back and sword slide across the ground. The knight stood above the prince, hold the hilt of a sword to him. "Shall be decide on a draw... Sire...?"

Irritated Taki pushed the sword away and stood stranding tall, "I've never been bested. You should be proud." Yeah he had a hard time loosing since he was considered so highly here too. He had to always seem strong and unbreakable but it was hard not to get a little childish with this man.

 

The blond moved past him, "that's enough training for today." He started towards his room to bathe.

Takehiko watched as the fuming prince left, he turned his head to the recruit. "You are all dismissed..." The knight ran after the prince.

 

Catching up to him quickly, the knight felt the tension between them. He stayed quiet trying to think of things to say that wouldn't make things worse. He cleared his throat, but said nothing just yet. "Sire, you were my best opponent... The only person ever to beat me is my father..."

Taki twitched and turned to him a fierce look in his eyes, "that doesn't make me feel better. Out of the over fifteen years I've held a sword I bested each in my class." The blond looked down then shook his head. "It's frustrating to know I have no leg up on you. You best me there, in speech, the way you hold yourself and even... in bed."

Takehiko looked toward the floor. "It's... All I had..." The knights eyes were hidden by his hair as he leaned against the wall. "My family only cares for their name... Taki... When I messed up I was beaten. So I learned quick what to do and what not to do. I- Follow me..." The knight grabbed the prince's wrist dragging him into the his chambers and shutting the door.

 

Takehiko turned to the prince still hiding his eyes. He spoke sorrowfully,

 

"I didn't hit puberty until I was 16, so when I was about 14 I had really long hair and girlish features. Well, One day I fell asleep in the training hall after the classes, when I was alone. But, While I was asleep one of the older knights tried to take advantage of me... My father walked in and saw it... Wanna know what he said?" The knight looked up at the prince, his eyes glistening in pain. "Takehiko, I can't afford to have a gay son, so if you're doing this at least ask for money..." The knight darted his head away," He. Did. Even. Stop. That. Raping. Bastard. He. Just. Walked. Away..." Takehiko paused for a moment. "And then he would make me sleep with women, they were beautiful, and exotic. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't being sold to them. He said that he did that for my own good, that it would keep me from doing what happened to me when I was 14... I. Wasn't. Even. Gay... He cared more about his name than his son... My mother was the same way too... She actually scouted women." The knight looked to the prince crinkling his nose," Have slept with so many women that I can't even remember how it feels to like someone..." Tears began to form in his eyes as he jerked his head away once again. "With out someone telling me what to do, I'm lost... I have no real feelings. I can get made and embarrassed, everything else is fake..." The knight then looked to the prince and stood, placing a hand on his cheek, cradling it. " But... Then I became you're knight... And the first time we kissed, I was so embarrassed I couldn't think, it felt like there was more to touching you then just lust... It was freedom... Joy... Kindness...... Love... All things I wanted. If I knew how to envy I would envy you... Because you at least got to like someone... You got to feel pain from heart break and not lashes. You wanted to do things cause you cared... Not because you could." The knight dropped his hand and eyes," That's why I ask of you what I did last night... Because I didn't want to do it with you just to do it, especially the first time I liked someone."

Taki looked up at his shocked at the story he told him. Most people's lives were very different from his but to hear such a story like this broke his heart. The blond reached over and took his hand, "that's in the past now... I'm sorry those things happened... and that your parents only care about their name but now your here. This is the best thing..."

 

A family like that would demand a child... He himself would need to have a child to succeed as well...

 

Taking a deep breath he smiled softly up at him, "now I'm here. We need to take it one day at a time getting to know one another. I might complain and get angry but I'm learning to... talk to another person. I live a sheltered life to where sometimes I am selfish and don't realize it... I also might kick and scream or say things I don't mean, but I do know I really like you even if your way too cool."

Relief rushed through the elder's veins as the prince responded with sympathy and reason. Takehiko truly believed now more than ever, this man before him was to be a great king. molded to in-tune with feelings and emotional reason. The knight smiled and looked at the Prince with a chuckle. "Way to cool...?" Takehiko smiled looking into the other's eyes. "This one of those moments when people kiss... May I, Sire?"

Taki blushed and glanced around then looked up at him nodding his head. There right there! That was the cool he was talking about! This man... even with the bad past had become such an amazing person that he felt... so small next to. He leaned his head up a little and closed his eyes.

[Yujiko]

The knight smiled as he pressed his lips to the prince's. "You taste like salt. You should bath, Sire," Smirked the knight as he pulled away, his eyes drooped in wit. Ruffling the Prince's hair he kiss his cheek. "I'll go get the maid," He said pecking the younger's lips once more before leaving.

Taki made a face at him looking irritated even though he really wasn't. He started undressing down to his pants and waited for Takehiko to return with the maid. The blond smiled softly as he stood there. Takehiko was a silly man indeed...

[Yujiko]

Takehiko wondered about till he found a maid, he then requested that she tend the the prince's bath. He then followed her back to the prince's chambers. He awaited in the main room while he await for her to finish the bath.

 

The maid left the bathroom and walk out the door. The knight then walked over to the bathroom's entrance and lean against the door frame. "How's the water...?"

Taki was sitting on the edge with his feet in the water, "still a bit warm for my hot body. Working out then bathing is a pain sometimes without enough of a cool down." The blond looked over at him smiling softly. "It's big enough if you want to join me." He gestured a hand towards the water below him.

[Yujiko]

"Tempting, but by your request, I'm taking it day by day." Smiled the knight. I guess 'cool' was in his nature. Though at some point his over protective and jealous features will be displayed, and soon the price will see all the flaw this man truly has. But, until then, Takehiko would seem to be the perfect knight. Suddenly- Knock, Knock" Son...? Is everything okay?! Takehiko isn't outside the room guarding! I'm coming in!" The knight's eyes widened as he threw himself under the bed- it was a habit from his past... All those kinky housewives... *Sigh*

"You don't need to hide you can just stand outside the bathroom," Taki shook his head. "I'm fine father!" He wrapped a robe around his body and opened the door to his room. "I was bathing... Did you need something father?"

[Yujiko]

"Oh... Well. I just wanted to ask how training was earlier today. You didn't see me afterwards like usual- And what is this I hear about you and Sir Takehiko challenging each other?!" The King's emotion jumped up and down.

 

Takehiko blushed, He really could have just stood outside the bathroom. But, it would have been strange in either case. Takehiko watched the feet of the two conversing. Just by stance alone you could tell they were related.

Taki sighed heavily and put a hand to his head, "and what if I did? It didn't hurt anything. I actually had a lot of fun." His hands came down to rest on his hips.

 

"The trainee's are fine. I mean their not up to par with the knights but they have very little previous training," Taki sounded irritated now. His father always knew how to piss him off.

[Yujiko]

"Well then, I'm also here to see if you join me and the royal council for a feast tonight. There are many young women that will be there, they would be excited to met you. Not only, you're becoming of age to find a bride..." The King suggested. Takehiko's cheek lit up as his brow furrowed in jealousy. A-a bride?! Taki couldn't be serious about that just yet... Could he?! Well, He has to marry anyways! But, He wouldn't with around right now- no way...!

Taki made a face like he always did when his father mentioned this subject, "I still have a lot of training to be king and you're already wanting me to have a wife to tell me what to do?" He found most women really annoying

 

"I'm not interested right now," the blond couldn't tell him that he was more interested in his knight. Although it wasn't overly uncommon to have a wife and a few lovers or mistresses. Many of the other kingdoms were like that but only the children born from king and queen were considered heirs.

[Yujiko]

The knight sighed silently with relief, almost joyful.

"-If you wish to, that feast begins at eight... I will see you later, son." The King dismissed himself.

 

The knight crawled out from under the bed once the prince shut the door. "Now that I think about it, I'll join you in the bath." The knight said softly wrapping his arms around the prince's waist while softly kissing the back of his neck.

Taki watched his father go and sighed heavily. That really wasn't a if you want to go... it was him saying you better be there.

 

The blond shivered at the kiss on the back of his neck, "jealous?" He smiled softly and looked back at him. He was just teasing buthe knew he would be too if women would be ogling at him too.
