EvilStewie
This is bear, he was taken to the vet and diagnosed with separation anxiety after having his skin scraped and looking at it under a microscope for mites and whatnot.. He lost his sister that he has always been with ( she died) a couple months ago. He is about 17 years old and I don't know what to do for him, if anyone has had a pet with this, and has experience with this I would love advice! He is tearing himself apart! Thanks
shirotsuki
i'm so sorry to hear about this! T____T actually i never had a pet with this. so i'm not sure what to do. in my opinion you should spend as much time with him as you could. he feels lonely without his sister. so show him he is loved. i guess he just wants to feel comfort...
EvilStewie
I never even knew cats could get that, I knew dogs could...Yeah, I've been trying to keep him with me, in the room I'm in.. play with him and stuff... I still catch him doing it though. He looks like he is just cleaning himself and then he starts pulling out fur
1978
Do you still play with him? Cats need more nurturing & taking care more than another animals in my opinion.. And you have to do dressing on his wounds, too?? Just be gentle & talk to him It's good way to cure him Hope he'll be better soon
EvilStewie
The vet said they were just superficial, and if I put something on it, it would get him cleaning, which would get him pulling out more fur :/
Saga
I might sound like the biggest weirdo right now, but I talk to animals. >_> And you know what? Oddly, no matter the language I use, they do understand me. Odd creatures are beings - either humans or not. Talk to him like you would talk to a man. Let him hear your laughter and give positive energy around him. Cats usually absorb negative energy from us,but his is pouring out of him and he can't absorb it. Uh, I know I sound like a weirdo >_> But I would talk to him.
EvilStewie
@ saga You don't sound like a weirdo to me, I talk to animals as well, and plants too... When I leave I've been leaving the TV on, he seems to like that, its weird its like he knows I'm doing it for him...
