Openly handling the brothels and gambling dens. Drugs possibly, murder probably. Background: Eldest son of the current oyabun and the daughter of the former clan head, Jinrou had made his bones by the time he was 16. Though excelling in school and graduating from a university, Jinrou fully embraced the life he had been trained to lead since he was young. His calm and collected demeanor hides a violent and cruel nature. It has become apparent to his subordinates that the colder Jinrou acts, the crueler he truly becomes. Now, his clan is embroiled in a battle of of domination with the more powerful Toudou Clan. But a twist fate had given the Aizawa a window of opportunity; the Toudou had arranged the assassination of a governor. The public outcry and government pressure is pushing the police to step up its investigations and bring the Toudou to heel - a golden opportunity for any and all of its rivals. Jinrou was monitoring the club's security cameras, it seems that Hayashi's murder is spilling all over the Ginza with undercover police coming in and out of the clubs. It has never been a secret which clubs are owned by the yakuza, even the fronts are well-known to law enforcement officials. But it has never been like this. His father was pressuring the young man to take advantage of the increasing pressure on the Toudou, but Jinrou knew that an all-out war will only bring death and destruction to them all. His subordinates were quiet, on the look-out like their boss, all eyes on a party of men who should not be there at all. Tall for a Japanese man at 6'2, wide-shouldered and muscled, he cut an imposing figure. But scarier still were his cold steel-gray eyes that hold no mercy for anyone. Not anymore. "They seem to be more subdued than the first group that came here," he said out loud. "Have some girls go to them, not the best. Choose those who know how to probe and listen," he instructed the mama-san. "Send them a Blue Label, compliments of the house." The woman nodded and left the security room. Jinrou's eyes were intense, all focus on one man who stood out amongst a flock of sheep.
「viviD
Couldn't find an image I imagined. Name: (Last) Masanori; (First) Masao Age: 26 years old Occupation: Police Officer Eyes: Amber Hair: Vermilion Background: An only child, at the age of 16, his father died in a robbery protecting a child from being shot for he is an high-ranked police who was respected by many and is considered a 'Hero'. Wanting to be like his father who he looked up to ever since he was a little kid, he joined the Police Department at the age of 22. After 4 years of being a police, his position is mysteriously the same at the time he joined... At the assassination of an high-rank government official, police are pressured to put the Todou clan behind bars. He, who is still a junior policeman, has been ordered to investigate as well for there were too much high-ranked policemen doing the more difficult jobs leaving the juniors a chance to shine. Oh why, oh why was he chosen for this?! Masao shrieked silently, not wanting to gain attention for being loud, most especially shrieking like a little girl. He was only a junior-ranked! He was supposed to go crowd watching, right...? Guarding the town, right..?! Guarding the streets for any suspicious characters, right?! Right?!! ...Right? Why him? There were other policemen who were much more suitable! But it must be because of the incident that so many high-ranked were needed. His fellow juniors were happy to get a chance to do a more 'exciting' job. Their usual one wasn't boring though! The job was safe and you wouldn't die if something wrong would happen! Still, he wished that the criminals were to be punished as soon as possible. Assassinating is very wrong! Now back to investigating... It was more like questioning that investigating. How can he? Talk to a random person and question them? B-But! It would be kind of rude, he thinks. Ah! It was needed! Questioning people were essential to get information! He knows that, he knows! Oh he was so nervous! Again, why him?! Most importantly, why a club?! A club own by a Yakuza! You hear him?! Y-A-K-U-Z-A. They were dangerous! Most of them were! Still, they are Yakuza! YAKUZA! ...Not to mention that he was separated from his partner in this current case of theirs... Ahhh, what should he do?!
cereflame
Jinrou watched the police men as they were surrounded and catered to by the women the mama-san had dispatched, except for one lost lamb. There was something familiar about the young police man, who was sticking out like a sore thumb in the middle of an expensive men's club. Familiar enough to warrant his own personal touch. He called one of his men, whispered instructions and with a nod the man left the room. From there, Jinrou went to the club's office - a richly appointed place of wood panels and leather in rich browns and muted reds. One of the club's long-time girls, Hanako, was there to serve drinks and for conversation. "No need for that tonight," he said as he sat on one of the club chairs, waving off the woman. Jinrou had instructed his man to invite the red-haired police officer in his office. "Don't take no for an answer," he instructed. "Be pleasant and extend Aizawa Jinrou's gracious invitation," he said with a smirk. Jinrou was waiting for his guest, a guest that was soon to be invited by his man. His man who was currently waiting for the police officer's answer. "Eh, the boss wants to see you. Aizawa Jinrou's waiting for yah," the gangster said, thumbing the office's direction. "Ya coming?"
「viviD
He tensed, watching the women surrounding the policemen except for him. Oh! There was his partner and it looked like he was enjoying the attention. He really didn't know what to do until a gangster came up to him saying that his boss, the gangster's boss, a yakuza boss, wanted to see him! He was too busy trying to calm down his nerves that he didn't hear his boss' name. ...What? Him? Coming?! No no no way will he come! He had heard that the club was own by the... uh... Aizako? Aizashi? Aizasomething clan?! He forgot the name--no, more like he didn't hear much other than Aiza-something. The sound of the name gave him a wistful feeling... Still! He heard that clan was one of the dangerous yakuza clans! No! He didn't want to! Just as he was about to reject, he froze. Oh what happen if he refuse? Will the boss pummel him?! Will something happen to him?! He didn't want that! Let another police--Wait, he was a police. A police that must investigate and question even a yakuza boss. He must be brave! Courage and determination flooded his whole being that he nodded. "Yeah, I'll come." He started walking towards the office, hearing the gangster follow him. He is not scared! Once he entered, all of his determination popped like a balloon. He wilted under the cold stare that the Yakuza boss had, feeling like a scared mouse being cornered by a big ferocious cat. H-He is s-still not s-s-s-scared! 'Hiiii! H-H-He's scary!' Or not. Wait... The yakuza look so familiar... The scared feeling slowly disappeared, replaced by a wistful feeling, as if he was reunited by an old friend... Hm? Didn't the gangster told his boss' name? He tried to remember... "Aizawa Jinrou's waiting for yah," "J-Jin-kun?!" He sputtered, wide-eyed and shock. This was Jin, his childhood friend?!
cereflame
Jinrou was sitting on one of the couches in the office, all white and leather. He was a picture of a relaxed businessman after a hard day's work, but his job was still beginning since it was barely nine in the evening. He had expensive champagne chilling in a bucket of ice including iced crystal flutes, soft music muted the sounds from the other parts of the club. His man knocked twice and the yakuza boss grunted his acknowledgment before the red-haired policeman was ushered into the office. The door was closed, leaving the two men alone. All scared and nervous, "Still being cute I see Masa-chan," he greeted with a smile as he stood and walked towards his childhood friend. Masao was the only one who could make him laugh enough to ignore the hurts and pain of his father and grandfather's rough training. "I did wonder if it was you," he said as he hugged the smaller man before him. "But nobody has hair like yours, except a doll. So it must be my Masa-chan." Jinrou kept his voice light and friendly as he motioned for the policeman to sit, settling beside his childhood friend. "Let's drink to our reunion," he said as the champagne bottle opened with a pop and he poured them drinks. "Why are you here Officer Masao?"
「viviD
Looking at the office and his childhood friend, no one would have excepted Jinrou to be a Yakuza Boss! Well, Masao himself didn't expected this! "I-I'm not cute! Don't tease me, Jin-kun!" Masao flushed, always was he teased by Jinrou that made him blush most times. He missed this, he missed his childhood friend. He was so glad that they returned to this town again after 3 years, another 3 years of his dad passed by. He relaxed in Jinrou's hug, feeling and missing the warmth that his childhood friend radiated. "Jin-kun... Jin..." He mumured softly, gripping on his clothes, it was him, it was really him! His heart fluttered in happiness, it was really Jinrou! Masao flushed yet again, uwaah, he knew that he has different hair but was he being implied like a doll?! My Masa... He flushed darkly. Guh, he still wasn't used being called that by him! Guided to take a sit, he sat, fidgeting slightly. Jinrou was different, he remembered him being aloof but somehow, he changed. What change about him, Masao didn't know. Must be because they were separated for so loooong. "Uh...! I don't really drink! I get drunk easily, my co-workers even said that!" He held out his hands in a stop motion. He really didn't really drink but his co-workers forced him, to celebrate because one of his junior friends got promoted. "Oh! Well, I shouldn't be here but there's a situation that requires a lot of high-ranked policemen, they had out of high-ranks so there was no choice but to choose junior-ranked. I... got chosen to investigate this club and uhh... do you mind if I ask you some questions?" He sheepishly said, just because they were long-time friends doesn't mean that he should demand questions!
cereflame
Jinrou gave the policeman a small smile as the other flushed with the teasing, a habit from childhood that he had easily fallen to the moment he had been face-to-face with Masao again. He took a lock of his friend's hair, holding it against the light. "It's really you and you have barely changed. You still look like you were in high school. It's been years since we have seen each other." The yakuza was not surprised that Masa-chan could not hold his liquor, even then he liked to tease his friend for being delicate, though the latter had a bone of steel when he was being stubborn. "Just a little then," he said as he raised his glass in salute. "Ahhh," Jinrou said noncomitally, shrugging his shoulders to urge his friend to go on. "If I can answer them, why not? I take it that you are here because of the murder of the governor? Does your question include the rumors being bandied in the media?"
「viviD
Was he? He thought he changed a lot over the years! But Jinrou has a point, he barely - more like he hadn't - change in years even he knows though it doesn't mean that he didn't made progress! He became a lot tougher! ...Did he? That doesn't sound reassuring in the least... No! He was much more tougher! He was! He can prove it! ...Someday. Oh right, a little drink couldn't hurt. Just a little - a tiny little - sip. He brought the glass to his lips taking one small sip —holy hell the drink was so delicious. It tasted heavenly, he felt relaxed. Hmmm... maybe drinking a full glass couldn't hurt. He took a whole drink, stopping in moments to breath and before he knew it, the glass is empty. Ah... he felt a little woozy but okay. He licked his lips, lifting the glass indicating he wanted more, "Jin-kun, the wine's too delicious. I kind of want more." He laughed albeit sheepishly. "Well, yeah, it caused a big whole mess especially in the police quarters, every police mostly high-ranks are running around because of it." He nodded his head, grimacing slightly. Thanks to that, the juniors became involve in a risky case but then if it wasn't for that, he wouldn't be able to meet his childhood friend again. Guh, he felt guilty because it meant he was happy that an governor died that it involved yakuza clans. He flushed, "Uh...! Yes- I mean no! Ye--No!" Fumbling the words, he squeaked out. The rumors being broad by the media were too silly! Yakuzas forming together for revenge to the government? Grudges against them? Hatred? All were ridiculous! They even added the rumor that the Yakuzas wanted to rule the world but it sounds so... biased or something! Then again, Yakuza aren't all nice, they were known to be mean, merciless, ruthless. They weren't all that, right? His childhood friend is also a Yakuza - a boss! A BOSS! - even so, he was unlike others! Masao trusted him even when he didn't noticed that he was yakuza until now...! "No!" This time he affirmed with strong conviction, "I don't believe any of that stuff until they show proof! Besides that, I will try my best to help uncover the truth of those rumors!" He held a serious look, eyes flashing in stubborn determination.
cereflame
Jinrou was smiling at Masao, though deep inside he thought of how he could take advantage of he opportunity to get closer to his friend again. Yakuza and police only mix well when there's corruption, but he knows his friend enough that he can't really bribe his friend. Masao's father was after all a police hero. "It's really good champagne Masa-chan," he said as he poured another glass for his friend. He sat a little closer, pretending it was because of the drink. "I bet it made everybody jump," he said in understanding. "High-ranking official, executed gangland style and nobody would give you answer. It's a great opportunity for you Masa-chan," he said as he fiddled with the policeman's collar. "Who's heading the investigation?" he asked. It was important to know who was Masa-chan's superior in the investigations. "And you shouldn't believe everything you hear in the newspapers. Especially on television, it's a lot of bullshit," the yakuza warned. "I'll try to help you with your answers, because Masa-chan is my most important friend." 「viviD
Masao blinked at him before smiling back. He was reminded of the past, now that he thinks about, wasn't he the only one who hang out with Jinrou? He hadn't seen his childhood friend with other people but then there were a lot of people who looked tough that talked to Jinrou. There were also the times where he was warned that he was dangerous but he didn't believe them. How ironic. "Mhmm, it's really good." He agreed, oblivious to notice the other sat closer. "I-It's not... I don't like it." He frowned, almost childishly, eyes flickering curiously as the yakuza boss fiddled his collar. Is he up to something? He fidget and before he could show his nervousness, he greedily gulped his drink until it went empty again. Masao paused, feeling more woozy, he's still intact the feeling of wooziness just made him albeit sluggish. "It's, uhh, Yokoshima Kamino." He answered to the question. "He's, um, kinda weird. I noticed that he stares at me sometimes and he asks about my father every time we talk." His eyebrows furrowed, confused before shaking it off. Maybe he was a fan, too? That's what Masao thought. "I know. They need to show the proof, my father told me that." He murmured dozily, slowly getting drunk. His heart warmed and cheeks flush, he smiled brightly at his friend. "Haha! Jin-kun, thanks! You're important to me too. You're a precious friend." He was, very precious. He wanted to be together with him again just like before. ...Was it just him or is it getting hot? "Hot... too hot..." He rasped, breathing getting heavy. He remembers this feeling... Uggggh, drunk. He was now drunk, it's effects catching up to him. He slightly slumped in his eat, tilting his head up, mouth slightly open as his breaths drifted out. It was too hot.
cereflame
Jinrou realized that Masao was getting drunk, and though he looked so cute - all flushed and red, he didn't want his friend to get into trouble. It won't serve anyone's best interests if Masa-chan got drunk in a yakuza club. Especially as Jinrou has a chance now to bring down the Toudou by linking them to the assassination. There and then he decided to make use of Masa's connection, plus he'd get closer to his friend again. Hitting two birds with one stone. When Masa-chan complained of the heat, Jinrou reached out to loosen the policeman's tie. "Here, it will feel better," he said as he unbuttoned the top two buttons of the other man's shirt. So it's Yokoshima who's the lead in the investigation, he should look deeply into that matter. Masao wasn't joking about the effects of the alcohol, as Jinrou saw him slump on his seat. Making sure the other man won't slide off, he went to the door and gave instructions to his men. A few minutes and there was a discreet knock. "C'mon Firecracker," the yakuza whispered, using a childhood name for Masao. Lifting the man, they moved to the back entrance where a car was waiting for them. In a few minutes they were already on their way to Jinrou's apartment.
「viviD
His mind slowly went sluggish that he hadn't registered Jinrou's words and the fact his tie was loosened and two buttons unbuttoned but felt that it was cooler. He hated getting drunk, he remembers that time and he was thankful that one of his junior friends helped him return home where he lived alone. "Hnn?" His voice was soft, evident that he was drunk. Fire...cracker? Oh right, a childhood name. "I forgot what name I called you, Jin-kun, when we were both still young. Why is it Firecracker again?" Masao voiced out-loud, it looked like the words were supposed to be from his thoughts alone. He felt being lifted by strong arms. Jinrou's touch... burns. It felt hotter, it didn't help the feeling Jin-kun's hands felt cold, it was supposed to be warm but it seems it was another effect of being drunk. Squirming slightly, he breath out his name, "Jin...rou..." His eyes drooped in fraction, "It's... hot. Ngnh." He grunted, licking his lips, feeling it dry. Now they were in the car, where are they going? Home? To Jinrou's home? How long has it been since he last visited his childhood friend's home? cereflame
It was a good thing Masao was light, he didn't like the idea of other men touching his Masao. He gave a slight smile, the policeman's speech slurring as he tried to remember why Jinrou always called him firecracker. "Because of your red hair and unbelievable talent of blushing whenever I teased you," he answered as he held the man close to him. So much has changed now, Jinrou no longer lived at the Aizawa clan house. The moment he could afford it, he moved out. Later on, when he became the second boss and becoming mindful of security, he bought and refurbished a residential building. Giving the other units and floors to his trusted men and cohorts while the lower floors were used for business. A legitimate enterprise for a young yakuza boss. He patted the other man's head, brushing off the tendril of hair that had fallen on Masao's face. The blast of the car's airconditioner was cool, "We'll be there in twenty minutes Masa-chan. Go to sleep." When they were a few minutes away from the underground basement, Jinrou tried to wake up his friend. "Wake up Masa-chan, you're drooling on me." 「viviD
His cheeks reddened more as he resisted the urge to pout. It wasn't his fault that he inherited his father's hair color, it was Jinrou's fault that his cheeks flushed red because of his teasing words! Now Masao was visibly sulking. 'Stupid Jin-kun!' He thought sulkily to himself. Home... Where he lived, he was by himself in an apartment. His mother didn't come with him because her job kept her there and Masao knew that she was seeing another man. It hurt him that he ran away, how can she replace father so easily? He squashed the thoughts before it went too far. Him being drunk made him thoughtful, mostly about the past. Inside the car felt cool that, guh, made him felt cold now. The cool air prickled his skin that was too hot. Why did he have to drink the wine? Feeling slightly ashamed that he had gotten drunk in 2 glasses of wine. At least a part of his mind is still intact of what's happening. Jinrou's voice, his deep voice, lulled Masao into sleep, as if a personal lullaby. He could feel his words rumble in his head that made him sleepy, so sleepy... His eyes droop closed, unconsciously moving his head to rest on Jinrou's shoulder. His sleep was peaceful during the drive, filled with pleasant dreams about the memories him and his childhood friend shared and experienced. His dream ended as he felt being waked up, hearing the words droo-- he quickly shot up, cheeks darkening red until his whole face resembled a red tomato. "S-Sorry!" He stuttered, embarrassed. Waaah! He didn't mean to drool on Jinrou! He was drunk! Drunk! It wasn't until he saw with his own eyes that there was no drool on Jinrou's suit. He gaped. "Jin-kun! You liar!" He accused, embarrass replaced with a sulk. Wah! He was being teased again! He felt his head throb and he groaned, minutes of sleeping isn't enough that he still felt drowsy and now he has a hungover but he wasn't sure if he wasn't drunk anymore or is still is. cereflame
One of the joys of his childhood was teasing Masao, the yakuza thought as he looked fondly at the doozing policeman. It seemed such a simple pleasure to tease Masao and now he has his friend beside him. He hope he could make Masao stay with him, but he knew that a yakuza and a policeman's friendship is just a fantasy. But now, he could pretend that it was real. Observing his friend's skin prickling with the cold, he took off his jacket and covered Masao. Letting the other man use his shoulder as his own personal pillow. The underground parking was quiet, the car stopping by the elevator. He chuckled at Masao's tantrum, it was so easy to pull the other's goat. He helped Masao, who was still drowsy with the champagne. Arms around the slender body, he walked them to the waiting elevator. Nodding a his security men, they ascended alone. 「viviD
He sniffed, ah, the jacket had Jinrou's scent, it smelt nice and felt warm. It was as if Jinrou was so close to him. He closed his eyes for a minute, snuggling through his friend's jacket. He felt an arm around him, feeling his face heat up again, it would look like they were lovers or something! He fidgeted with an embarrassed look. 'Gah! Don't think like that, Masao! But we look like lovers with his arm aro-- WAH! SHUT UP, ME!' He mentally slapped himself, now he was crazy that he was talking to himself inside his head! It was giving him a headache too. Note to self, when drunk, never do that again. Masao's jaw dropped, an awe expression visible on his face, as if the drowsiness disappeared. B-Big! And so wide! Wah! Jinrou lived here alone?! How much does this cost?! H-He was rich! Another note to self, never anger Jinrou for he has lots of money. ...It wasn't surprising, before Masao was always treated with high-class food by him that looked like it cost a whole lot. Not often though because he didn't want to take advantage of his friend. He blinked, as a finger poked his cheek before he was put down on the large bed. This wasn't the guestroom? Judging by the large room and the bed, it seems this is. "T-This is your bedroom? W-Wha-- why here? Not in the guestroom?" He fumbled his words slightly, eyes confused. "Eh? Don't treat me like a child, Jin-kun." He whined as he felt his coat taken along with his socks and shoes, earning a splitting headache that he grunted in pain. Stupid headache. Stupid wine. Stupid him. "Hey Jinrou." He called all of a sudden, he was serious and slightly in daze. He reached out and grabbed his friend's arm cloth. "I don't want to get separated from you." Saying that all of a sudden, he covered his eyes with his other arm. "Is it possible to be together when we're both in different sides?" He asked, hesitantly to say and hesitant to hear the answer. Because he really hoped they can still be with each other.
cereflame
Being with Masao always take Jinrou to happier times, even now. Knowing his friend was working for the police, he knew there were many obstacles to maintaining their friendship. He smiled looking at Masa-chan's drowsy face, thoughts and feelings flitting through them. He is still as open as he was before, the yakuza thought with affection. Still so open and loving. He will get hurt, badly hurt. The thought gave him a heavy leaden feeling. Settling the younger guy on his massive bed, undressing him, the yakuza then went to open the window blinds and let the city's skyline serve as the lights to the dim room. "I don't want to get separated from you....Is it possible to be together when we're both in different sides?" Masao's words broke the stillness,a nd Jinrou looked at his friend lying so vulnerably on his bed. He let the words hang, as he opened another set of window blinds. "You're drunk," he answered. "You'll change your mind tomorrow," saying those words, he left the room. He was supposed to go to the kitchen and get Masao a bottle of water to help with the drunkenness and dehydration. But the yakuza found himself standing by one of the huge glass bay windows. Looking out, cigarette carelessly propped in his mouth as he mulled over Masao's words. His was a violent and cruel world. He can't risk Masa-chan's happiness and future and career just because of their feelings. Masao will definitely hate him if their worlds collide. But he wanted, he so wanted to be with Masa-chan; he just did not know how.
「viviD
"J-Jin-kun...! Wai--!!" He reached out but he wasn't in the room anymore and the headache worsened, he was almost (so so—) desperately because in his eyes, it was as if Jinrou was walking away without a second glance behind, as if as if he was leaving forever. Masao couldn't take it, before they reunited again, there were times where he felt his heart is empty along with his life, afraid of dying if he proceeded higher and higher until he crash down. But now, they were together again, only for fate to mock them, destroying the hope he had when he was with his important friend. A police and yakuza. Was it impossible? He didn't want that, Masao never wanted that. He wanted— "'m not drunk." He mumbled, sitting up with a rustle of the blanket. The room felt cold without Jinrou there. He bent his knees, crossed his arms to put on his knees, letting his head land on his crossed arms, sniffling sounds echoing throughout the room. Masao felt horrified, why was he sniffling?! He was close to tears but felt nothing drop, his breathing went ragged as if trying to resist the incoming of tears, trying to stop. Jinrou... —to be together with him again, even if, even if— Tears started to pour from his eyes, his didn't move, letting the tears soak his clothes arms. If one saw him, they will definitely know that he's crying with his shoulders quivering, his hands gripping each opposite cloth along with hearing his gasping breaths trying to stop. 'Stupid Jinrou!' His conscious screamed but it was empty words. It was his fault, not knowing that his childhood friend is a Yakuza boss and- and for joining the police force because he was inspired by his dad. Stupid.
cereflame
With a sigh, he let his morbid thoughts drift away. A yakuza has no right for sentimentalities nor regrets. One must live one's life the best way he can. No rather, survive the best way he can. He padded to the kitchen, snagging water bottles for them both and hardened his resolve to make Masao nothing more than a tool for his agenda. But he never expected to see...hear a crying Masao. He heard the ragged breath and sniffles. "You're such a cry baby -" but the words died in his mouth. He could never really bear a sad Masao; something breaks inside him whenever he saw Masao sad or crying. He went to Masao, the bed sagging with his weight. Taking both hands which were hard and tense, gripping hard as the yakuza tried to loosen Masao's hold of his own arms. "You're a sodding and sobbing drunk," he gently chastened as he pulled the younger man into his arms. Letting the face and cries be muffled by his shirt, he let his friend cry to his heart's content. 「viviD
In response, Masao only sniffed, he felt his grip loosened by Jinrou so easily. "I-It's your fault." He chocked out weakly, he couldn't stop crying why can't he stop crying— he didn't know if this was his feelings or for just being drunk, maybe it was just from bring but his gut didn't believe it, that it came from his feeling and, and— he still kept crying. Ah, again, he was in Jin-kun's arms and felt the warmth coming from his again and his scent and oh god his scent brought back the tears again and he keeps bawling and sobbing so much like a child, like the one who's heart broke like, like his father died and again he kept crying soaking his friend's shirt and he should apologize that his shirt is wet. "I-I don't know why I'm crying," He moved his head a bit, enough for the words to be heard and not muffled by Jinrou's shirt, "but, I t-think, it's because I don't want to be separated with you again and I-I—" He fumbled words — quick quick say something — but the words won't come out from his mouth. His opened his mouth before closing; open and close, open and close like a goldfish trying, trying to say the words but nothing came out. He gave up, letting his head slump against his friend's shirt and the words came so easily this time— "I want to be with Jinrou again." The one thing he wished the most. cereflame
Jinrou did not know how to comfort Masao so he just took his friend into his arms and it just felt right, to have Masa-chan with him. "Shhh, it's okay...it's okay," he repeated the word which hung emptily since he did not know what brought about this crying spree. Maybe it was the alcohol, the stress...so many things were running in the yakuza's head that they were tripping all over themselves. "I want to be with Jinrou again." Those words made Jinrou's heart nearly stop. "Still so straightforward," he said as he kissed Masao's head, brushing the strands off the pale face. "You still don't have an internal filter," he murmured softly as he tightened his hold. He wanted to shout and answer Masao that he too wanted the same but the yakuza did not know how to keep his friend beside him, how to love Masao. How to love without corrupting what is pure and beautiful in Masa-chan. "If you stay with me, I will only taint you Masa-chan," he simply said. He had moved to recline against the quilted headboard, his friend cradled in his arms. Masao's flaming head of hair was the only bright color in the off-white room. The only accents were the black and deep brown leather here and there. Theonly thing that made life a bit beautiful. "I want to be with you too," the yakuza confessed. "But you need to go. You cannot stay with me."
「viviD
He kept crying and crying, why can't he stop crying? Why was he crying when Jinrou was near him, right now, he was in his arms and felt hurt, was it because of his thoughts before...? And no, it was not okay, at least to him. He was a mess right now, a jumble of emotions bundled together that made him confuse and gave him a headache but he had done his best to ignore the growing headache. Maybe this was alcohol that was speaking and not him him. "I don't care." He sniffled, feeling like a small child. Why can't he see that Masao wanted to be with him again? To be with childhood friend that he treasured? Jinrou was the only one left. He was the only one left that made Masao felt the warm he lose in the past return! Jinrou wanted to be with him again? Then why was he pushing him away? Why was he insisting that it was bad to be together again? It didn't matter if they were in opposite sides, right?! He felt being stabbed in the chest, straight to the heart when a thought dawned him. Jin-kun... gave up? Did he... gave up to be together again? "You... y-you... you don't want me?" His voice was small, he felt small. The only person he had left... wanted him to leave. It was like Dad, it was like Mom- they left him behind, alone and cold. And now, the most important person to him, more important than his Dad, he realized, was going to leave him behind- wanted Masao to leave. He felt empty once more.
