Itachi looked up from his paper and over at his little brother, he raised a delicate raven eyebrow up as a very amused look crossed over his face. "You look like a bum otouto..." He smirked before laughing slightly and went back to reading the paper and drinking his coffee.

 

He glanced at his watch and stood up, folding the paper up, placing it on the table before he kissed his mother on the cheek and nodded at the younger raven. Walking out of the room so that he could leave to go to work.

Naruto looked up from his plate after he said thank you for the meal, his chop sticks hovered over his eggs, "Well actually... I have something that I need to tell you both..." Kushina raised a red eyebrow as she sat down next to her husband and stared at her son.

 

"What is it Naru-chan?" The young blond sighed and placed his chop sticks down on his plate, "Well... Me and Gaara are dating..." The red headed woman's eyes widened and her blue eyes sparkled with mirth, "Oh~ Naruto found a lover!~ How exciting!" She giggled and clapped her hands together.

 

She was acting like a school girl right now. The blond sighed and shook his head at his mother's actions. "And I got the female lead of the Welcoming Back play... But that's not even the half of it! This new guy Sasuke is making me feel things that I don't just quite understand..." He groaned and racked his fingers through his damp hair.

 

Kushina's eyes widened when she heard the name Sasuke. She then coughed and excused herself from the table. "I'll be right back... I need to make a phone call..." She then got up and took the cordless phone with her as she dialed a number that she remembered her friend gave to her the other day when she ran into her at the market. She just hopped it was the same Sasuke she was thinking about.

Sasuke blinked, "what are you-" He blushed and quickly fixed himself. Was he really that distracted?! The younger raven nodded to his brother. Wow... the blond was more of a distraction than he originally thought.

 

After he ate he quickly got ready and jumped into his car to be driven to school. Maybe he should start driving himself... He then got back out and got into his car driving himself to school.

Minato smiled brightly, "soon you're mother will have to make red beans and rice ((>.

 

After a couple rings a woman picked up the phone, "Hello?" Sasuke's mother held the phone as she did the dishes in the sink.

Kushina sighed softly and smiled before she replied, "Mikoto-chan? Hey... It's Kushina! Listen we need to talk... Would you like to meet me for some coffee?" She asked her childhood friend, she was so happy to have bumped into her yesterday, it had been a while since she saw the woman last.

 

Naruto groaned and leaned back in his chair, he knew by the looks of his father that he wouldn't be able to escape from the questioning this time. So he took in a shaky breath before he answered his father, "Sasuke's this new guy at school... And I don't know... He makes me nervous and blush..."

 

He huffed out as he sat forwards and started to eat his meal slowly. He told Kiba last night before he hopped in the shower that he would get a ride from Gaara. When he was finished he picked up his orange juice and took small sips from it.

Mikoto smiled softly as she dried her hands, "of course. I'm free all of today just name the place." She smiled softly as she put a couple things away in the fridge. She missed her old friend and was so happy they ran into each other.

 

Minato smiled softly, "butterflies in your stomach? Perhaps you should talk to him to be less nervous." The older blond knew what he meant by what he said. That's was falling for someone was. He of course talked about Gaara but never like he did of this new man he met.

 

Gaara knocked lightly on the door. He had been waiting outside for a bit but finally decided to know.The red head was worried about his blond but he didn't want to bother him about it all.

Kushina twirled her finger in her long red hair in a thoughtful kind of way, "Hm.. How about Star bucks? Since there is one close to the high school... And besides Naruto got the leading lady role for the Welcoming Back play!" She giggled softly, she wanted to see her son act out on stage.

 

"Unless you want to meet up earlier?" She spoke with her normally cheerful tone. She then heard a knock on the door, she walked towards it, opening it and smiled softly at the red headed boy. She then placed her hand over the speaker part of the phone.

 

"Naruto honey Gaara-kun is here!" She shouted out before placing the phone back to her ear. Naruto sighed once more before he smiled softly at his father and nodded his head, he stood up and grabbed his bag, waved by to his father and checked his teeth out in the hallway mirror to see if anything was stuck in his clean teeth.

 

He then sighed softly, walking over towards his mother and kissed her cheek before slipping his shoes on and grabbing Gaara's hand. "Sorry about that... My dad wanted to talk to me!" He laughed slightly before he leaned up and kissed his cheek.

Mikoto smiled softly, "sure we can meet there. I'll finish getting things ready and... oh really? My son got a lead in the school's welcoming play too. He's playing the lover who steals, I guess it would be your sons character away." She giggled softly. "So nice to see Sasuke's made a friend. At least I hope he has..."

 

Minato waved good bye to his son then grabbed his bag and kissed his wife softly, "don't want to be late." He they went out to his car to head to work.

 

Gaara smiled softly and took the blond hand leading him to the car, "that's alright." He got in and drove them to school. "Is everything alright?" The red head looked over at his boyfriend. He was worried about him.

Kushina kissed her husband back before he left for work, "Hm? Oh my how faith has brought them together!" She giggled even more shaking her head smiling. "Knowing Naruto I'm sure he's made friends with your son... We could always sneak across the street and watch them act~" She grinned in a mischievous way, "I'm sure you would love to see that!" She chuckled lightly while walking into her kitchen and cleaning up the mess that her husband and son left behind for her.

 

Naruto was looking out the window while Gaara drove them to school, but turned his head towards him when he heard him speak. "Yeah everything is fine! Why do you ask?" He raised an eyebrow and looked at him with curious eyes. He then sighed and gave him a soft smile. "Gaara... Are you alright? Cause you seem more on edge then normal..." The blond's voice was low and held concern in it.

Mikoto smiled, "I would love for him to finally have one. Oh that would probably be the only time I could see it. I'm sure he would try to make us leave." The raven haired woman chuckled softly. "Alright so give me about an hour and I'll meet you there. Does that sound good?"

 

Gaara's hands gripped the steering wheel a little tighter, "I just... don't like that new kid." The red head finally said it. He had been dwelling on it since the days before. "There's not another guy or woman to play either part?" He didn't like him and didn't like him touching his boyfriend. Something was off about that Sasuke.

"Alright! And not if we're sneaky about it!" She laughed some more before agreeing to meet with her friend, "That sounds fine to me! I'll see you in an hour!" She said before she said goodbye and listened to the line going dead. She hung the phone up and cleaned the mess up before she headed for her bedroom to get ready.

 

Naruto's smile dropped when he heard the red head speak, usually Gaara did show anger easily but... The mere thought of Sasuke made him in to a fuming ball of fire.

 

"A lot of people don't... And why are you asking about the parts for? You know nobody is good enough to act... For the parts... And besides Kurenai-sensei said that me and Sasuke looked good together on stage..." He said in a low voice not looking at Gaara, but at his lap where his hands were resting on.

Mikoto quickly prepared herself and grabbed her list of what to pick up from the store. She could get that done afterwards. Being the youngest in their family was rather hard. The youngest raven had a lot to live up to and besides his looks got him in trouble sometimes causing her to worry.

 

Gaara gritted his teeth and sighed as he pulled into a parking spot and turned off the car, "a lot of people are right. He's not a good person to be around. Naruto, I don't want you getting hurt because of him. For gods sake you both passed out yesterday after kissing on stage." The red head looked over at him.

Kushina got dressed quickly and grabbed what she would need, she had to stop by the vet today and pick up Kyuubi's medicine, she felt bad for the house cat. He got sick a few weeks back and now he was home resting, she sighed and grabbed her purse making sure that she had everything with her before the red headed woman walked out of her house locking the door behind her.

 

Naruto sighed and looked up glancing over at Gaara, "Have you tried talking to him? He's actually a nice guy once you get past the jerkiness... And I won't get hurt! I could hold up my own! And you know that... And I think the reason why we passed out was because of anxiety..."

 

He huffed out and unbuckled his seat belt. Jeez didn't the red head trust him? He closed his eyes at that thought. He then leaned over and placed his hand on the red head's cheek, but pulled it away quickly. He looked away from him and sat back down in his seat.

Mikoto made it to the Starbucks and was standing in line waiting for her friend. When she spotted her she waved her hand, "hi!" She smiled and hugged her. "Figured we should get some coffee too while we're here."

 

Gaara sighed softly, he didn't want to talk to the raven. He didn't like him and didn't want to but would for Naruto. Looking over at the blond he felt the hand on his cheek then it quickly went away, "we should get to class, Naruto."

 

Sasuke was already sitting at his seat in class. He was near Naruto's seat and planned on talking to him at least a little. After all they had a project together in this class. Glancing at Sakura and Kiba he sighed softly. Kiba didn't seem interested in him either. Sakura was just annoying...

 

"By the way, thanks for yesterday Kiba."

Kushina smiled and hugged her right back, "Hello!" She giggled before letting her go to stand next to her in line. "I think that's a great idea! Besides I haven't had my coffee today!" She laughed even more.

 

"So! The last time I saw you, you were holding Itachi-kun's hand!" She smiled at the memory, "So how old is he now? Is he doing fine?" She asked while moving along with the line.

Naruto nodded his head and opened the car door, once he was outside he closed the door and waited for Gaara to get out. When he was out of the car, and had locked it they both headed to class holding hands, neither one of them were talking.

 

The blond really wanted to say something but deiced to keep his mouth shut, he sighed and racked his free hand through his still slightly damp hair. His usual spikes were flat against his head.

Kiba stopped reading the textbook and looked up at Sasuke with a raised eyebrow, "Yeah, yeah whatever... I didn't do it for you... You know? I did it for Naruto and Gaara! Who by the way wants to kick your pretty boy ass..." He said the last part with a small laugh.

 

He then heard the door open and looked over to see Gaara and Naruto walking in instead of their teacher who was running late again. The blond walked over towards the group and sat down in his seat as he let go of the red heads hand.

 

"And if you speak of the devil he shall appear!" The brunette laughed even more at the slight glare being shot his way. He noticed that his blond friends hair wasn't spiky like it usually was, but let it slide.

Mikoto smiled and nodded her head, "he's twenty seven now and taking over a part of his father company. He's doing very well even though I know it's stressful for the poor dear." The raven woman ordered her coffee and waiting for her friend to order before moving down the line a way. "Do you just have the one?"

Sasuke sighed softly. He hated the automatic hostility. He barely said two words to the brunette before he got that sort of back talk. He tried to be pleasant but he was always no matter what treated like this. Just because of his fucking name! The raven glared over at Kiba then sighed and started writing in his not book and spoke in a low voice towards Naruto, "morning."

 

Gaara walked with him until they reached the classroom he slipped his hand back then reached up ruffling the blond hair to help it spike up a little, "there that's better." The red head smiled softly and stepped to his own table as he watched the blond go over with that man... He really didn't like him.

Kushina smiled softly at her as she too got her coffee and followed her over to a table. They both sat down, the red headed woman nodded her head, with a smile still on her face. "Yup... Naruto is my only child... But he is the apple of my eye!" She giggled and took a sip of her coffee.

 

"And wow! Itachi-kun is that old huh? I bet he is a good looking man now!" She giggled even more. To her it had been far to long since her and Mikoto spoke to each other.

 

Naruto blushed lightly when he felt Gaara ruffle his hair up, but sighed and smiled softly at Sasuke. "Good Morning to you to Mister grumpy!" He laughed slightly and sat down next to the raven. Kiba raised an eyebrow at the nickname and teasing tone in the blond's voice.

 

He thought that they hated each other... He saw him take out a notebook for writing class and handed it over towards the raven.

 

"Iruka-sensei probably wants you to catch up on notes so... Here.." He said placing his notes down on the ravens desk. Before he grabbed out his notebook for the class that they were in, he hummed a slight tune as he went to work.

Mikoto nodded her head, "he looks so much like his father and Sasuke takes after me." She chuckled softly then sipped her coffee as she sat down in the place.

 

"I'm happy our boys are friends. Sasuke has had such a hard time making friends," the raven woman smiled over at her. "I can only imaging what your little boy looks like. You married Minato right?"

 

Sasuke glared at him for the nickname but knew he was only teasing where the others really didn't like him, "thanks sun shine." He took the notebook and smirked at his retort.

 

"Did you look over the script? It has some interesting spots in it. I actually have a fighting scene," the raven gave him a soft expression. Like a happy one but not quiet a smile. It was like they were old friend hanging out. Like nothing happened the other day. Sasuke wanted to just be with someone and talk to them without them judging.

The red headed woman giggled softly at what her friend had said, "I'm glad to! And yes I did! That man... Gosh... He swept me off my feet! Literally! And Naru-chan looks like his father..."

 

She sighed and took out a her cell phone, going through the pictures and smiled at one. She then showed Mikoto a cute picture of Naruto dressed as Juliet from a school play last year. "Here's Naruto as Juliet! Isn't he a cutie!" She laughed slightly.

 

Naruto's eyebrow twitched when he heard the nickname being directed at him, but nodded his head and looked up at him smiling softly. "Yeah I did... And isn't the fighting scene at the wedding? Were you come in and fight Sakon?" The blond said tapping his chin with his pencil in a thoughtful kind of way.

 

But then Gaara's words echoed in his head, he sighed softly a frown now coming on his face. "Say... Sasuke... Can we talk after class..." His voice was low and held some sadness to it.

Mikoto smiled brightly, "oh my goodness he is so handsome! Well adorable there as a girl." She giggled and pulled out her phone pulling up a picture of Sasuke and held it out. He was frowning at the picture and look irritated that she was taking on of him.

 

"My little Sasuke," the raven haired woman smiled as she showed her. "He's got a temper on him."

 

Sasuke sneezed into his arm then sniffled a little, was someone talking about him because that came out of no where. The raven looked towards the blond, "yes that's the scene." He nodded his head at the blond's next statement.

 

"Sure I only head to the council room after this," Sasuke pushed over his notebook. "By the way I got a little done last night. I set up a power point for our project. These are the topics." It almost felt natural sitting here talking to him.

Kushina smiled widely at her friends compliment but giggled when she showed her a picture of her own son. "Oh my! He's a dashing looking young man!" She laughed some more, taking a small sip of her coffee.

 

"He looks like he does have one hell of a temper but a very handsome boy none the less!" She nodded her head glad to be spending time with her friend like this.

 

Naruto took the notebook and looked it over, he nodded at the format and smiled softly at him. "Good... And this is really well done Sasuke!" He said in a soft but sweet tone of voice. "Oh and I did some work last night as well... But it's on my computer... So we might have to check it out later..."

 

He grinned at the raven before a cough made him turn his head towards the brunette who was looking at them both with an raised eyebrow. "So... You two are doing most of the work?" He asked confused, the blond looked at him with an are you a dumb ass kind of look!

 

"No we're not! Your going to be helping us along with Sakura! So tonight you two would have to look some things up!" He said in a low voice that held no room for argument. Kiba sighed and looked over at the pink haired girl who was looking at herself in a mirror.

 

Naruto rolled his eyes at the girl, jeez some partners these two were! He then glanced over at Gaara's table and saw Tenten staring over at them before turning back around and whispered something to Gaara. "You might want to keep a close eye on Naruto..." She whispered in a low voice to her friend. Hell she didn't like Sasuke either... To her he was nothing but a jerk!

Mikoto smiled softly, "he didn't always have a temper. He had some trouble going through middle school and the beginning of high school. That's one reason why he doesn't have well... friends." The raven woman sighed softly then sipped her coffee. "I'm sure he'll like your son though."

 

Sasuke gave the blond a soft smile. This guy was different than the rest... he actually didn't mind the raven being around him. He usually didn't like being touched but touching him didn't seem to bother him at all. The raven sat up and scooted his chair a little closer to point out something else but then Kiba chimed in making him frown.

 

"Why don't we each take a page of power point. Kiba do you want to do the ending time between 1623 to 1657 and create a page on it, maybe two depending on how much you find?" the raven was trying to play nice but these dumbass kids were making it hard.

 

Gaara glanced over at the table and tensed seeing the raven so close. His hands were in fists and shaking on the table. That's it! Somehow he was going to get Sasuke out of that school or at least away from Naruto. He was so angry he was shaking. It had been many years since anyone saw him that angry because he put a kid in the hospital and he only got suspended.

Kushina smiled softly and took another sip from her coffee, "I'm sure my son will like your's as well!" She giggled softly, wondering if her son was getting along with Mikoto's son. "Oh~ If they both become friends then we could get together and do something with them!"

 

Naruto blushed softly when he felt the raven move closer to him, being near the raven made his heart beat faster for some unknown reason. But he did however notice that Gaara was shaking and he looked pissed, "... Fine I guess I could do that..." Kiba said in a low voice looking at Sasuke with slightly narrowed eyes at his tone.

 

The blond sighed softly and looked away from the red head. 'Why does he look like he's about to throw somebody through a wall?' He thought while looking down at the notebook that was in his hands.

Mikoto smiled bright and nodded her head, "of course! Maybe a sleep over, or trip or dinner party." She giggled softly then sipped her coffee again. "I can't wait to meet him."

 

"Or you can do something else, I was just offering up an idea," Sasuke glared over at Kiba. "What the hell do you all have against me? What have I done to any of you to get this kind of treatment?" He was irritated with them and wanted answers. Everything sounded like it was dripping with disdain and it was driving him nuts.

 

The red head heard the raven and raised his head a little. In a way it was true... even he was treated badly when he first got here but there was something about the raven... Maybe because he was trying to get close to his Naruto.

Kushina's blue eyes shined brightly at what her friend was saying, "Oh those sound like wonderful ideas Mikoto!" She giggled and sipped her coffee. "I also would love to meet your son!"

 

Kiba was about to open his mouth and say something before he felt his foot being stepped on, hard... He hissed through his teeth and glared at Naruto who was glaring heatedly at him. "No.. No that's fine... I don't mind doing that!" He said through clutched teeth still glaring at his blond haired friend.

 

"And I have nothing against you..." He grumbled while nursing his foot through his shoe. The blond sighed softly and rubbed his forehead, "I have nothing against you either Sasuke..." He said softly looking at him with soft blue eyes.

Mikoto smiled brightly, "then it's settled dinner party it is. I don't mind it being at my house but my husband and oldest son aren't really social." She smiled and shook her head.

 

Sasuke looked over at Kiba not believing him but when Naruto said it it made him smile softly, "thanks." The raven shifted in his seat to sit on his ankle as he pulled his notebook back over. Now the attention was on him and he didn't like it. If it was just Naruto then that's another story.

 

Gaara took a deep breath noting he couldn't change anything until after class was over then the raven would be alone.
