It wasn't like catching the tail end of his first class was a rare thing but every time he did so he couldn't help but get extremely annoyed at himself for doing so. It was a situation he hated walking into every morning; the angry glare from the teacher accompanied by some infuriated growl for him to sit down, and then that awkward moment when you open the door and every one turns their head just a bit to see who it is. He hated it, mainly because he didn't want the attention whether it be negative or not. It made him wish his mornings didn't depend on other people so much. They were never in a hurry like he was.

The chime of the bell rang and he was up in an instant afterward. Swinging the bag over his shoulder he headed for the door, not paying any mind to the other students in the room all attempting to do the same thing. He shared a school with them but beside a few people he hadn't really gotten to know any of them. Be it the person he sat next to or someone he had worked with previously due to a project needing more than one person. It really wasn't that he was anti-social or anything like that. He just didn't care. Whether it be someone whining about their day or bragging about what they did the previous night... he just didn't want to hear it.

Standing out in the now busy hall he gazed into a rather empty vending machine before giving in and picking the most appealing thing. After feeding the machine his money and getting what he had picked he turned around about to bite into the candy bar but had to jump back suddenly as someone just about ran him over. He'd noticed him in the classroom when he arrived but he could piece stuff together on his own and didn't necessarily need an explanation. A new student right? But why was he so frantic to get to where he was going? He watched him turn a corner to where the stairs were and tilting his head just slightly he wondered what was so important upstairs to have him running like that.

While the teacher was explaining,Hayato took a quick look of the people in the room.No matter that he was in the same class with them,he didn't even know most of their names.Only few, like Kaoru,Kichirou and Yasuo...was it? He wasn't really talking with them of course.Actually,he didn't really talk with anyone from his class.Just,he didn't find anything in common to talk about. Also,he was spending most of his time training,so it was normal..right?

Finally the class was over.Hayato noticed that the new student wasn't in the room anymore.

'When did he..?' he didn't even notice when the other leaved.

Takahashi took his bag and went outside. He had a favorite place,on the back of the school where people weren't really going.Once he reached the place - a small lea with few trees,he sat down, laying on one of the trees. He didn't care that so soon it was going to rain, his gaze on the direction of the rooftop.

For a moment he thought that he saw someone there, near the water tank? What would someone do there? In a time like that?

Ah,right, the school had some water problems. But was it really only that? For some reason,Hayato had a bad feeling about all this.

First the Russian student, now water problems..What was going on today?

When he entered the school building, Edwin’s dark hair was laced with raindrops. It had started drizzling a couple minutes back, but the rain itself hadn’t made Eddy hurry. His step was calm and unbothered; his walk not slow but measured. First class was probably over already.

Electric lights cast shadows over the cold walls; shadows that danced with grace as led by the outside, ever changing light. The hallway was quiet apart from the sound of distant footsteps. Perhaps someone else was late to class? Purposely or not, Eddy couldn’t tell by the sound.

Then another pair of footsteps, nearer as Ed got closer to the classroom. A boy turned a corner, passed right by him, could have been his class; information usually flowed well in Eddy’s brain and he could probably remember all of his colleagues by their first, middle and last names, but he just couldn’t remember a face. They were a blur of people, images full of information, but not necessarily that for which Eddy cared for. Problem was that he had to spend time with this people, to remember them by a unique trait or a specific riddle of their features. Eddy never did that, with the exception of Ann.

There were beautiful people that shared his bed, yes, but not one so far that was ever there for more than a night. They, too, joined in the blur of everyday faces.

Edwin came to slow stop, realizing he had passed the door to the classroom, if only by little. He turned on his heel, paused in front of the door, pressed the handle lightly and opened the door a crack. The lecture was still in process, though the clock on the wall counted minutes until the end. The professor in the front either hadn’t noticed or didn’t care enough to acknowledge a student that came in so late. Eddy gave a one-shoulder shrug, fully intent on checking the space in the computer room (or if that failed, in the library), leaving his laptop to charge then maybe start writing a program on one of the school’s computers. His fingers gripped the handle, his arm pushing forward gently to close the door-

“Sato Eiji. Do come in.”

The cold voice startled Eddy. It was more familiar than the face and it belonged to the one professor the student body liked to refer to as Satan. Edwin had witnessed a couple of awkward situations including the said professor, but had amazingly avoided being the target of his wrath. Until now, he hadn’t thought he was all that bad, really. Though to be fair, it could have been thanks to his constant absence from class.

“Aah-” Edwin began intelligently.

“Come.” Well. There was no arguing with that voice. Eddy shuffled in past curious eyes, all the way to the back where his seat was. The professor waited until he settled down, then gracefully ignored Eddy and continued his lecture. Edwin glanced at the clock, counted four minutes until the end. He supposed he’d be hearing it then.

Satan was a stupid nickname anyway.

After the bell chimmed and signified the salvation from he worst teacher that ever was, Kaoru packed his things into his bags without a hurry. The teacher was already out of the classroom and the students began leaving as well. The young man however didn't bother to do things faster just because it is a break. After packing everything neatly into his bag, he also made his way out of the classroom. He had noticed earlier on that the new transferee nearly run out of the classroom at full speed. Like i already mentioned however, Kaoru wasn't a person to pry into other peoples live if he wasn't allowed to. Well, either way, the boy set his way forth towards the exit. Kaoru walked towards the gym, where he always went too during breaks. Sadly, the way wasn't protecting him from the rain so he would get wet. He did not care however. He had a spare pack of clothing for boxing with him. He just needed to change into these later on.

As he arrived at the gym entrance, a spark ripped through the air and let Kaoru look up towards the roof. He vaguely saw the silhouette of a person. He wasn't able to identiy said person though. He did remember that the school was having a problem with the water tanks though. Whatever, he made his way inside the gym and closed the door behind him. Luckily nobody risked getting wet while comming here, nobody besides Kaoru that is. The young man decided to just train a bit after eating. A few punches wouldn't hurt.

(OOC: No worries. Hope you'll get better. :3 )

Drops were falling from his hair due to the rain while he was dashing with his all to the roof. It reminded him of a time when he was that weak kiddo, running after his most precious yet hateful 'someone' - his father. For a second Nikolaevich almost ran into Edwin. His pupils averted to the side, fixing gaze for a brief moment at the weird boy. Something told him that he'd need that boy later on, was it a sixth sense? Whatever it was, he kept on dashing.

Finally on the stairs leading to the roof, his necktie was loose as he kicked the door open. His teeth gritted into a hateful expression, there was that same white rose left near the water tank. The same rose he found in his lab when the virus disappeared.

-"Проклятие! (Damn!)",he cursed in Russian and closed in to the water tank. The moment when he saw a timer set on the bottom of the outside wall of the tank,a thunder split the sky in two. Storm, what a perfect timing. Arita's eyes showed despair as he slid down on knees, reaching for his phone to make a call,

-"I need a team, put quarantine. Place is... - Tokyo, Japan.", the last twenty seconds, he dropped the phone and turned around, getting up on feet with the white rose in hand. What he could do!? The boy felt like suffocating, his fault for all. A squeeze,he smashed the rose in hand. For a genius,it was first time when he felt useless and not able to do a single thing.

As soon as he opened the door, he heard a scream of a girl, calling for her friend. Most probably the girl has drank water and now was "dying".

"MISAKI! MISAKI CHAN!" , how fast the virus could take over the body? Even Arita couldn't know, he hasn't tested in on humans. He felt so useless, standing on the stairs while the first infected was already on the floor - having the symptoms. Why he was so silent?! Was it a shock? But the kids were innocent, why they had to go through that? Nikolaevich slid hand down as he dropped the rose. His phone rang, who could be at that time?! He glanced over the phone as the most calmest person ever, it was unknown number. He picked to hear an electronic voice - seemed the other side didn't want to let their real voice known.

-" "Yarite" ", Arita's eyes went widened, his nickname spoken out, "Do you know how long the snappers live?" - was that some kind of a joke?! But what was more interesting was that the person on other side spoke in Japanese.

-"Omae...(You..)",Nikolaevich growled, but the call was ended. What was that, he threw the phone at the wall and jumped over the stair's hand-railing. He saw the girl shaking her infected friend,

-"DON'T!",Nikolaevich grabbed the girl by the arm and pulled her back at the same moment when the infected got up.

-"What's wrong with you?! Let me go! Misaki chan!", the silly girl struggled, but Yarite held her in a tight grip. He hasn't seen the virus tested on a human, but surely that were the symptoms. Changed skin color, eyes were dull and with no sigh of life - rather blind. He stepped back as the infected girl growled slightly and made a step towards them.

-"Mi-misaki?!", her friend stuttered with a frown.

Nikolaevich pulled the girl closer and his eyes spoke for no fear, but the situation wasn't so nice when from behind another two infected closed by. Arita didn't have time to study the virus fully, he didn't even know how to prevent it, or to stop the monsters. He pushed the girl to the stairs for the roof -

"RUN!", he yelled.

Different from the legends he heard for zombies, these beings he has created, they weren't so slow - just the opposite, human's strength and senses were thrice as stronger than before. As he pushed the student, his leg was caught from an infected boy who has stretched out hand from the down stairs. A strong kick, that could only slow down the monster - enough time for the to climb to the roof - but then what?! Arita closed the door.

-"That's bad... the virus is faster than I have imagined...", he mumbled as the girl shook standing on the roof, gazing down.

-"Oi..what's wrong with you?",he turned to her and she pointed down the schoolyard. Nikolaevich glanced down to see all over the place infected students, attacking others. It was madness, the pure chaos, even the devil couldn't create such a hell.

-"...", no words could escape him, but just when he thought they were safe - the door cracked once, they were strong and a lot, he knew this much. If so, they couldn't have enough time and no place to run to. So, it left no choice but fight...or die?! What a choice, and in the past Nikolaevich wanted to die - was that case even now?

He let his jacket fall, his firm figure for a professor was exposed. Well, he was young and beautiful,if you gaze further that the slightly long hair covering his face. The rain didn't help. It could only help the virus spread, what a timing.

-"Go and hide.", he told to the girl and rolled sleeves up. For a genius,Arita was a strong boy. May be that was because he was the heir of a rich family clan. And as such he was made into training kendo when was a kid. At least that could be handy now. He grabbed a metal stick left close to the water tank as a tool for opening the lid.

-"Ah, what was that sentence?", he rolled eyes with a creepy grin. That boy was twisted, no wonder since the father of that creation, "Come to daddy?", his grinned spoke for no fear and the glare in his beautiful eyes spoke for coldness and emptiness. The door cracked open - Survive was only key. He span the stick, show time.

(OOC: Sorry for the late reply, been too busy. :/ But I'm free now. c: 2nd Sem over~

Oh and it does say when one doesn't reply after 7 days, turn will be skipped.)

He didn't mingle in the hallways like the other students in the hallway nor did he join the group of students hanging out with one another. There was no need to when he didn't have friends. Maybe it could be considered as a blessing? Or not, being by himself was lonely but it was fine, the only friends he wanted was weapons, most especially the guns.

No drama, no tears, no love triangle.

Just him and weapons, just the two of them.

The noise from everyone slowly died down as he walked away towards somewhere quieter, his gut instincts told him danger was near. But what kind of danger? Danger enough for him to have a gun in the bag along with many bullets.

All was quiet now, the rain started dropping, making the outside more ominous than before.

Quiet... it was too quiet.

The feeling heightened, screaming at him 'Danger! Danger! DANGER!' that something was amiss. He had gotten this feeling after his father drilled it into him by doing stuff that involves something life-threatening. He remembered his mother had gotten so mad that he shuddered just by thinking about it. He would have died if it weren't for his luck...

It wasn't until he heard slow sounds footsteps coming towards his way. He wouldn't mind it at all, ignore it even, if it weren't for his instincts alerted him more and more as the footsteps came closer and closer, slowly revealing a male student younger at him.

Weird... Something was weird... He looked lifeless, dull. Why-- he didn't have time to think as the male student before him attacked Kichirou. He dodged due to reflexes. What--? He didn't have time again for the student tried to grab him.

What was going on?!

Kuchirou ran, ran away from the lifeless student that acted like a... zombie.

What's happening?!

((I knew that it was time for finals for a lot of people. That's why I waited patiently and did my best to rid myself of the urge to say something about your absence haha. Glad to see you're back Techno : ) ))

There was definitely a difference when you were surrounded by other people than if you were isolated and watched from afar. Yasuo didn't talk to a lot of people but he enjoyed being around them for the most part. He liked watching. The little things that people did and the change in their facial expressions as topics shifted from one to the other. It all fascinated him and was one the main little quarks that he had.

This was why he was surrounded by people and in the most dangerous of places when the virus took hold of the school. Going from one person to another starting from a small handful that had been originally infected. There was a scream from far off, in another part of the building, that had the blonde standing completely still, his hand having been half extended towards a nearby garbage after having thrown away his wrapper. It took a moment before he was turning around and looking around curiously... noticing that almost everyone else was as well.

Whispers made their way through the crowds before there was another scream and everyone visibly jumped at the sound. This one sounded closer but just like before, there was only silence afterward. Until someone dropped to the ground that is. A few startled murmurs and expressions of worry. The boy that had fallen to the floor though stayed motionless and it was then at that time someone came tumbling down the stairs, flailing to get back on their feet before stopping dead center in the middle of the hall and staring at those who still hadn't a clue.

With tears streaming down her face she opened her mouth to say something but stopped as a touch of complete terror passed across her face. She immediately turned on her heel and ran in the other direction, pushing those in her way as she went. It was only then they he realized that, on her back, there were a series of deep red blood like splatters. Was she the one screaming? Was it blood or...?

That's when, like a trail of dominoes that were so perfectly set up, reality came tumbling down. A scream followed by another... and another rippled through the halls. Turning one way he saw the student who had collapsed suddenly atop another student and he couldn't mistake the red anymore. It really was blood and it was all over them both. That wasn't the only scene either, all over the halls there were screams now, and it took only a moment before people were moving, running desperately to all exits while they trampled over each other in the process.

He didn't have any answers but he knew danger when it was near and running... yes, running was definitely the way to go right now. Being on the bottom floor made escaping easy too. So he ran too, straight to the front doors where he and everyone else stopped in their tracks. Inside wasn't the only place students had went for their break and that was obvious as there was just as much chaos outside as their was inside. It definitely looked that way but maybe that was only because what he saw was an obstacle between him and the only real exit here. It was an obstacle he wasn't sure on how to pass too.

Screams from behind urged him forward but instead he turned suddenly, fear making him sloppy as he stumbled slightly in only the first few steps he took. They were attacking. That much was certain. So what was the first thing that came to mind when you were threatened? A way to defend yourself. You couldn't go forward if the obstacle was too large for you to rid of yourself. So he went in search of a weapon. Not inside or outside, but to the back of the school where the storage shed was. Right now, that was literally his only hope.

(Welcome back,Techno~)

'Ah,the break should be over soon.' Hayato got up,looking for just one last moment up there - at the rooftop, but there was no one.It seemed that he just needed some more rest,so he decided to go in the room, where he was usually practicing. It was near the place he was just now,so it wasn't even necessary go in school.

Just when he entered in the practicing room,he heard a scream. It was near - he was sure? But from where exactly was it coming? Hayato grabbed the first sword he saw and closed his eyes.He had to find the place from where the scream was coming.

'Near, the changing room...is it?' the student opened his eyes, heading to the changing room and before to be able to open the door a boy jumped from there.

He was so pale, his eyes - without any sign of life.He was exactly like a dead guy.

'Dead guy?'....'Water'...'Someone on the rooftop, near the water tank...','Many students missing today..','A newcomer..' Everything was making sense.

The lifeless boy didn't want to much and attacked Hayato. Thanks god he could react on time to dodge it,grabbing boy's hand. But just then he tried to bite him.Takahashi managed to kick him and ran from the practice room, but unfortunately there were waiting more dead like people.

'A zombie apocalypse' He thought.

There was a slot in the back wall, thank the lord, where Edwin plugged in his laptop and left it to charge. Then he waited, staring longingly at the door of the classroom and at the students spilling out with the ringing of the bell. The professor lifted his gaze toward Edwin; gave him a look that clearly said that Eddy was not to leave until he said so. Edwin wished he’d just got yelled at and let go, not kept in detention like a fourth grader. No such luck, apparently.

He sat through a silent treatment and it felt like hours, honest. Edwin was sure that the professor wasn’t really doing any work, just scribbling shit to keep him in as long as possible. So Eddy did programming in his head, anything to keep himself awake in that stupid boring classroom.

“Sato,” the professor spoke suddenly, startling Edwin and making him loose count of spaces. Ah, muck. “I need to talk to you about your absence from class.”

“Uhh- yeah, about that-“ Edwin began, cursing the numbers and colours and everything else that gave two shits about his absences. Sato Eiji’s information clearly hinted at medical problems, so why even bother talking about it? Seems like nobody read resumes nowadays.

“I hope you’re getting all your class materials from someone. Your grades don’t seem very-” Edwin tuned out, glancing at the door, then at his laptop and the battery light blinking while charging. Not long now, it usually charged pretty fast. Now, where was he? DEC=> gnaaaaarg-

That’s when the screams began. Someone, a student, just plain ran into the closed door of the classroom and left a smear of blood along the glass as he fell. Edwin stared at it with an open mouth, then shook his head and looked at the professor. He seemed just as shocked as Eddy, told him to ‘wait there’ (LIKE HELL HE WOULD; WHAT?) and went to check the situation outside. A moment later, Eddy heard the not-very-manly scream and shot out of his seat as if electrocuted.

What the fuck, what the fuck- Eddy packed up his laptop and was at the door in no time; just to see that same fucking student eating the professor’s face and what- oh- that was just nasty. Eddy wouldn’t look at them too long; he snuck past them to the best of his ability and bolted down the hallway.

(Sorry, didn't want to say that someone should be kicked. I didn't know that you had exams. Sorry about that. >.

After good ten minutes, Kaoru decided that it was enough training for now. After school was still boxing club after all. He didn't need to exhaust himself right now. The young teen would be able to do that later. So putting off his boxing gloves and stepping down from the boxing ring, he streched. Next lesson was math and the dreaded test would take place. Innerly, Kaoru hoped that it would somehow be canceled. One could still wish....right?

Before Kaoru could change his sweaty clothes, someone banged on the closed door of the gym. Faint grunts could be heared. Since the door was tightly locked, Kaoru didn't care that much. It was strange and weird, the sounds i mean, but as long as he was safe here then it was okay. Which didn't last long, because the door, the one Kaoru walked through earlier, banged open. A body fell down on the floor. Drenched from the rain and painted in the ugly colour of red, blood. One arm was missing, the eyes weren't focusing and its mouth was ajar. Carefully taking a step back, the young teen watched the creature. It good up and scanned the romm with a low grunt until its eyes finally setteled on Kaoru.

Not even waiting to be attacked by that monster, Kaoru ran outside the gym, only to meet with other monsters. It seemed the whole school was 'dead', in the true sense of the word. He knew already that these were his former classmates, he knew some of them. Faintly mind you, but he did know them. He stepped to side as a girl, the shyest of his class, made a grab for him. The next one wanting to attack him, a boy that was the class clown, tried to hold him in one place. But thanks to Kaorus fast reflex, he was able to sidestep quickly and make a dash for the school. If he was lucky, a few others had survived too. Yes, he was scared but he was more willing to live instead of giving into his fear.

After a few evades, he made his way towards his classroom. Don't ask why, but Kaoru always kept his brass knuckles inside his desk. For safety measures he once said. Now seemed to be that time. After quickly equipping them, he made his way towards the hall again. If he can't run away from this place.......he will just have to fight his way through. But first, he needed to search for someone that was still alive. Though he didn't like the idea of grouping together, it was probably for the best in this situation. So now here he was, running through the corridors, punching every zombie he meet only to get them stand up again. He didn't know yet that, if you wanted to kill a zombie, you needed to destroy the brain. Kaoru had only been boxing them in the chest area.

(OOC: No one will be kicked out. We have 4 times to skip, and a skip is made when 7 days pass. (: )

A spin. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Akita got the metal stick on his hand right in front of him, pointing its end at the zombies walking towards their creator. He was with his empty gaze, recalling a time when his training were taking place. How he hated that he was weak back then, when everything he wanted back then - was to play with the other kids.

-"Nikolaevich! You kiddo, don't make so many openings!"
,a woman's voice pierced his mind as an electric wave would do so, it was his teacher's voice from his memories. But since Akita didn't do a single move,he was pretty much quiet - waiting for them to attack. Suddenly a loud noise of falling objects got to take place in the quiet situation. The girl was watching from aside, but got scared to the point of falling on her behind, and some metal objects fell from behind her.

-"M-mo-monsters!",she yelled.

Nikolaevich noticed how the zombies made a turn towards the noise. He clearly saw that they were walking towards him, staring at him - but why now they went towards her?

-"That's odd.",he frowned and lowered down the stick, observing them. He never had the chance to study the virus on humans. Could it be that they reacted to only noise but were actually blind? He span the stick to send a hit as rough as he could against the fence from behind him. Half of the zombies turned again his way,but the rest kept walking towards the crying girl. He got annoyed at her,

-"STOP MAKING NOISES,IDIOT!",next moment he sent a good grip of hit towards one of the zombies' head. Luck? He noticed that the experiment didn't get up back on feet. So it meant two things - they were blind but used the vibrations made from noises and the other was, their core is their brain.

The girl got up and tried to run,but one of the zombies caught her,Akita tried to make his way towards her,but got tackled down from the monsters' wave on ground.

-"Don't! Please! Help me! Aaa-..",she cried out for last time and Akita's eyes were set on her. He felt responsible for all. One of the zombies tore his jacket off of him and other went for his neck. The boy kicked with his foot one of them to try move and save his neck.

-"Damn it." But as much he struggled,so much they were successful from keeping him on ground. Their senses and strength were trice times better than a human's ones. It was the moment when Yarite realized,

-"What have I done...",his gaze turned into despair. They were just kids.. kids with dreams. The genius reached for his metal stick and rose it just in time to have one of them pierced through chest.

-"Ngh..",he tried to push three oof them when kicking the wounded body backwards. Finally managed to get on knees,to jump quickly on feet. He was all in blood, their blood. Arita took of his torn jacket,or was left of it and on his way of running, threw it aside.

-"I need a computer.",he kept running through all corridors, looking for a room with computers. The biology homeroom, he had to find it.

(OOC: Thanks~ xD Oh and it's alright. I should have told you guys first. >__

Everywhere he went there were students and even teachers eating one another; those who were still alive- well, they're not anymore. It was a stroke of luck that he wasn't noticed by the zombie-likes, which they are. Screams erupted here and there, this was madness itself! When did this happen? He had already put out his gun, just in case they attack him, he wanted to survive after all, just like the others.

He wanted to see his parents and keep them safe but he was sure there were going to be okay, his father did teach him and his mother- she was one hell of a woman.

Another student ran, screaming his head off that it made the zombies turn to him and attacked him, the student didn't survived, after all, he was being ganged up and he didn't have any weapons on him. It was inevitable, Kichirou frowned, he didn't want something like this to happen. It was as if it was the end of the world.

He just hoped this place was the only one infected with zombies, he can feel the dread in the pit of his stomach, mocking him as if saying that it wasn't safe, that everywhere will be infected, the madness will spread.

Steps light and quick, he moved like a well-seasoned spy, no one ever noticed him and he didn't know if this was his luck or that he was just plain invisible. If it was the latter, isn't it nice? But it won't take long that zombies were going to attack him, just not now.

Kichirou had noticed when there were noises, 'they' turn to where the noise comes from. Sensors? It looks like sounds gets their attention. What else? Down the corner, he saw a student swinging a bat around - baseball player, maybe? - and manage to hit one of the zombie's head. He grimaced, as the head was tore off. Ugh, disgusting. One thing that caught his attention though was the zombie had not moved. Could it be? It seems the one way to stop them was through their heads. Which part? Maybe the brains.

Now he new some facts that he drill to his mind. For survival, just like in zombie apocalypse.

Why did this happen though? This was so surreal, felt like a real-life dream, felt like a game, felt like in the movies where people try to survive the horde of zombies like right now.

But this was reality,

a nightmare reality.

((No matter how long it is, a crap reply is still a crap reply. I wanted to get something to you guys though before I got lost in the land of the working again.))

He did his best to focus on nothing but the sound of wet ground beneath his feet. The rain had softened the ground so that an annoying slosh could be heard with every desperate step. Of course, he ran along the wall of the school but that didn't mean he didn't run into a few of the undead. It seemed they had wandered the courtyard, following everything that caught their attention. However, he did notice that with every squish beneath his feet had their heads turning ever so slightly. This was enough to give him a clue as to which of their senses survived whatever process that had taken place to make them this way.

He dove out of the way of one, doing his best to run in and out of them but he slipped more than once and it almost cost him his life and a few got their hands on him momentarily before he violently thrashed until he was free. It was remarkable just how much something as simple as fear could change how well your body reacted to things around you. With how fast his heart was beating his attention was everywhere but where it should have been. He'd managed to get to the back of the school, to where the outdoor clubs were and he shouldn't have been surprised by what he saw considering what was here but he immediately stopped dead in his tracks.

Students everywhere. Some undead... some alive and fighting and then of course, there were those who were in between. The ones he was sure would be chasing after him as soon as they got up off of the ground they just died on. The initial shock disappeared though and he hit the ground running again, straight back towards the storage room where there was an assortment of club supplies and tools for yard care. Or he remembered seeing something that he could hit them in the face with at least. A shovel or something had to be in there. He was sure he'd find something of more use in here than in the school. It wasn't like he was going to get very far fighting them off with a chair.

He ran across the stone walkway that connected the school to the small buildings where the outdoor club members met. Even though this school was something kind of special... it didn't mean it wasn't built or ran like any other school. This store room though was open to everyone and zombies or no zombies... it didn't change the fact that it was literally open right now for everyone. Though there was no reason for zombies to stagger their way in there... the sight of seeing it open made his stomach drop as panic ran through him. He'd had only a few close calls on the way here but had gotten away thanks to the openness of his surroundings. Being stuck with one of them though in such a closed space had him wondering if that was even a place he wanted to go.

He kept on trucking though and in only a few moments later he had his hand on the door frame which he used for momentum to get him into the room faster. He hid along the wall though, hidden by shadows as he searched the room frantically. No one was in here, not a soul or a body or any trace of on. He saw a shovel which he almost jumped for but caught himself... he didn't want to get a head of himself. He wanted to make sure he had the most perfect tool. A bat came to mind almost immediately but to be honest he saw none. So it was either a shovel... although a shovel was difficult to run with, or something else. Something smaller...

He searched with his eyes and thought with his head. He wondered if there would be anything in here like what he was currently thinking about. A hammer? Too small maybe. An axe? Sounded pretty alright although he wondered if this room would have one. What would an axe even be used for in a school? It was a silly thing to be honest, there were talks about a zombie apocalypse and what you would do if one were to ever arise... but it had always been considered a joke. Something to make a movie about or something exciting to think about maybe but... never an actual possibility. Thanks to all the talk though he had plenty of ideas for weapons he could use but he didn't know where to get them right now. He couldn't think clearly.

In the corner of the room he saw red, a box, a tool box to be more precise and his heart started racing. Peaking out the door he saw one of them not even walking a foot away from the door. He hid again and held his breath. How did they not even realize he was in here? Did they not see him seek refuge in here? No matter, all he knew is that he needed to be as sneaky as possible as he literally crawled his way to the tool box that he saw. What he found inside wasn't at all what he had expected. It was rather large, so he shouldn't have been too surprised but it was better than what he expected. A crowbar. What the perfect weapon... at least until he got something better.

Hayato kept hitting the zombies, but they were getting up again and again.Could they really die?Only if he paid more attention when his so called "friends" were talking about such games where you had to kill zombies like these.

Of course facing them in real was way different from playing games, but still maybe it could have helped a bit.

'Think damn it!' Takahashi was angry at himself for not being able to concentrate. Was it because he was panicked?

'Calm down..It's not what you have been learned.' he repeated, cutting off one of the zombies' head.

Instinct?Luck?Whatever just happened, the zombie didn't "come back" to life.

So that was what he had to do - to cut off their heads. But wait, they were all students! He couldn't just kill them!

No wait - they were already dead.

'So that's some kind of infection?' Hayato wasn't sure, but he didn't have enough time to think about that now.

Just when one of the zombies was on way to attack him again,it seems that something catched their attention. They all headed to were the noise was coming from and that was the perfect chance for Hayato to escape.

'So they only react to different noises?' then if he was enough quiet he could have chance to not be noticed.

Takahashi ran to the front of the school, but what he saw wasn't any different from what was on the back. All the yard was full with walking corpses.

Was there anyone who was actually still alive? The only thing left was Hayato to go back in school, but was that even possible?

He took a deep breath, sqeezed his sword and entered in the school building with only one hope - To find some students who weren't effected yet.

Eddy ran, he wasn’t sure how he didn’t just faint right there and shit, and he didn’t know where the fuck he was running, but it worked for him for a while so he didn’t stop. He zigzagged past the dead or undead or whatever the fuck they were, because Edwin had seen the films, he knew what fucking zombies were, but if he started to think about them as zombies he would be done, right there in the hallway, he’d probably trip and crack his head open and his brains would spill out for them to eat, a real fucking feast.

Okay. Hold up. Take a deeeeep breath. Panic was never good and Eddy was high on panic; it shot through him like electricity, keeping him on edge, but also preventing him from thinking clearly. He needed another stimulant; his survival instinct preferably, on top of that smart head of his. If only he could just THINK for a moment.

Eddy rounded a corner and came to an abrupt halt. He’d nearly run into a whole bunch of– well, they seemed busy, buried in guts and body parts, and unaware of his presence so Eddy would have snuck away again, if he wasn’t morbidly fascinated by their utter lack of interest in him.

Couldn’t they see him? Smell him? Which of their senses still functioned? Could they hear? React to touch? It would be a useful knowledge, but Eddy wasn’t sure he wanted to stick around long enough to find out.

The corners of his lips slowly pulled into a stupid grin. Eddy wanted to laugh out loud at the mere impossibility of the situation. He wondered again why he chose Japan as his escape point. It seemed he’d got out of the frying pan just to land into fire. Zombies? What kind of sick joke was that?

One of the creatures lifted its head to stare at Edwin. WELL, high time to go, Eddy reckoned. Clearly he had overstayed his welcome.

Then he was running again.

There was someone ahead, a boy; didn’t look like he was missing any body parts, moving faster than Eddy had seen any of them move. There was death around him, yet the glint in his eyes told Eddy he was still very much alive. Eddy didn’t call out, wouldn’t attract more attention as he came closer to them; he slowed his pace, settled with walking so that his shoes wouldn’t make noise on the marble floors. Tried motioning with his free arm, the knuckles of his other hand white as he gripped the strap of his laptop bag, and hoped that the boy would notice him. If not, maybe Eddy could catch up with him once past this hallway. The school entrance shouldn’t be far from there. Eddy didn’t want to know what the situation outside was, but soon he would.

(I hope this makes sense, i was kinda relucant about it. Brain is kinda on vacation i think.)

The whole school seemed to be infected. Every where Kaoru run, only zombies in sight. At every turn around a corner, he could see one of these monsters. It was like hell, only real. He couldn't explain it. What turned his classmates and teachers into these things, why here of all places? It was to much for Kaoru to think about, so he just beat his way through them. The disgusting crack of their bodies when they fell down from his punches made him nearly gag. The blood that started to collect on his knuckles, on his body, slowly coloured his once white clothes in an ugly red. But he knew, if he wanted to survive, he needed to protect himself. More of those zombies suddenly gathered around him and he came to a stop. Behind him, before him, left and right. There was no use searching for an escape route. //So this is the end huh?// he thought bitterly and got into an attack stance.

Before he could set a foot forth however, a loud pitched scream could be heared. From across the hall he was in, he could see a girl running away from the zombies, only to fall down. The monsters around him, noticed this too and turned towards her. It seemed to them, to be a much easier prey then Kaoru was. Oh, how much he wanted to help the girl. Though he didn't like to be together with others, he did not want them to die. But he had no chance. Neither would he be able to get to her in time, neither would he be able to defend her from the mass that was collecting around here. He understood that the zombies seemed to be focusing on their hearing. So with a weight in his chest and soft steps he turned around and made his way to the next floor. Kaoru knew he wouldn't be able to 'leave' from the front exit, so he settled with the chance that he might be able to escape through the fire exit located on the roof top. If not.....well, he would try everything. If things get to the worst, he would just have to jump out of the window and hope that a tree or a bush would be there to catch him.

Kaoru soon arrived at the mens bathroom on the third floor. It was not far to the roof top door, neither was it near him either. The dried blood on his hands, clothes and even partly his face made him feel uncomfortable. He decided for a small stop in the bathroom to clear himself of that nasty feeling. It seemed that the zombies weren't around yet, or they were waiting near the roof top door. Hopefully not, or Kaoru needed to get himself dirty again. While washing his face and hands, he was panicking inside. The situation was just to absurd and unreal. I mean, zombies usually just appeared in games or movies, not in real life. Yet here he was, surrounded by those beasts. Kaoru was good in hiding his inner emotions, due to that he often sealed everything inside him and destroys himself with that. He never wanted to show his emotions, it makes himself look weak. Kaoru didn't want that, he wanted to appear strong and deceives others and himself in the end.

After cleaning all the blood off himself, the student poked his head outside the bathroom. //Good. There are still none of them around....// he thought, slowly walking to the staircase leading to the rooftop. If he is quite, they won't notice him that fast. Besides there weren't any zombies around yet. Until he turned around another corner that is. Zombies seemed to have collected in front of the staircase, pushing each other to get onto the roof top. Was there someone? What picked the zombies interest if they collected like that? Now Kaoru was curious and watched from afar. Before watching though, he looked behind him. There wasn't anyone.......or anything for that matter. So he was safe from an attack behind him. Turning around again, his gaze settled on the zombies pushing and shoving each other up the stairs.

Pants...Pants...Pants...Pants..

He lowered his upper half down, resting palms on knees. His heart was racing like mad, Nikolaevich let out a few quick pants. No,he didn't want it,no...no,he couldn't lift his head. All happened because of him, how he could face whoever it was from human kind? The male was in the corridor close to the south wing of the school, he averted his eyes to the side. Someone was walking rather calmly there,as if 'watching their steps'. Arita lifted himself up to stand tall, his arms freely close to his body.

He saw for a second a corner of a jacket, spreading open, but yet he couldn't see the one hiding. Suddenly Nikolaevich recalled that he threw his phone close to the entrance for the rooftop.

-"Shit.",he gritted teeth and made a turn to raise once again his pace.

Thank god that the floor was from smooth granite. It allowed him to slide his shoes when making turns. Jumping from the stairs, his shirt would lift up,showing a tease of his torso - indeed, the boy wasn't bones and skins. Gladly he would keep his shape even though his work was related to biologic experiments. Finally he was making the last turn to see a boy standing curiously in front of the stairs leading for the rooftop. Was he out of his mind? Arita frowned, if he would make a sound, the zombies would turn around and would bump into the boy.

-"Fuck.",he noticed the zombies coming from the corner of which he just passed by. A quick slide of palm through his hair - frustration.

Arita closed his eyes and when the zombie crowd came a few bumps were made into him. He calmed down his heart as much as he could. He should not breathe hard, he just had to force his all being be 'dead'. It cost him a few harsh bumps into his body, the saliva and blood was sliding down his arm when a few zombies had to have their hands rub into him,but none of them noticed Arita. It was good that he just kept lifeless body of his stand still. Truth was that Nikolaevich was to faint - it was too much to take for a human being. 'Pull yourself together, you are the only one who can destroy it.', Arita replayed a few times this sentence in his mind, they all stunk, they all were like beasts. The sounds they made, all was disgusting - but fact was he already was in the crowd of zombies heading to Kaoru. The boy was cornered from sides with zombies, and supposedly there was no exit since the stairs were full with zombies. What was more that the only exit from that part of the corridor was where the crowd with Arita was. Did Kaoru noticed the zombies coming his way,he looked so damn curious about the stairs and rooftop. Finally Nikolaevich made his first step walking with the zombies at their pace. Slow and dead-like. Slowly he opened his eyes, the faces around him were awful - nothing could describe how ugly the zombies looked from close. But he had to get his phone and that boy. He indeed lost that girl up on the roof, but now he wanted to use all he had and save Kaoru. The phone was the only way to connect to the secret base of his and give a report for the situation.

Ah,there he saw the phone close to one of the zombies' feet, he waited to get close to it as if they were ordered in rows. So close,so close... damn, faster, couldn't they move faster?! Arita was starting to lose his patience, he wanted to frigging yell and kick a few around him that kept pulling him for the shirt. But all of them were behaving as if 'No,I will get first'. There, yes, yes,a few meters left - he was like a small kid having his hopes when he just lifted an arm to lower really slow down-..CRUSH. His eyes widened. No,really no. Just...no. How was it possible to be so close to something you want and have it destroyed just before your eyes? Nikolaevich stood there like frozen, it wasn't the first time when he lost something in this ironic way,but really ... he couldn't believe that his hand was there, to have a zombie crush his only hope.

Soon Kaoru would notice the zombie mass coming his way, the boy would panic for sure, Arita thought. He was pushed around from the zombies when tried to get up slowly, not making any noise or letting out any pant to give a hint of a human being - being among them.

The genius out-stretched hand, decided to not lose that boy's life, and just before one of the zombies would get their hand on the boy,Arita had him first. But he had to make sure that Kaoru wouldn't yell, else - they both would be just dead. In the center of the crowd of zombies, with no damn weapon - they were a served meat. Nikolaevich grabbed Kaoru from inside the crowd, holding a firm grip around the boy's arm. He shouldn't make any drastic moves, but had Kaoru's mouth covered with his free hand. When the zombies pushed them close together, Nikolaevich hugged the kid close to his chest. If the other was calm enough,he would hear Arita's heartbeat, speaking for a living being holding him. Ready to have his body kicked or punch from Kaoru,Yarite contracted his muscles just in case. How "lucky", the crowd of living dead were pushing them close to the stairs, to get them closed in a trap of zombies. How would they make it out now? Nikolaevich averted eyes for the side, the stairs for the floor below them was close - true, but they were like in a can of zombies - all stuffed. The genius lowered his head down to reach for Kaoru's ear - "Keep up with my pace.", he whispered really quietly and made a backward step. Although the zombies were walking forward, bumping them roughly and rawring in their ears, the boys had to walk backwards.

(OOC: I'm a little confused. xD I dunno who Mari's referring to. 8DDD; But I think you're referring to my char's jacket, Saga-sama. xD I think.)

Where was he? He didn't know, he just kept running and running silently, avoiding the dead who were now walking aimlessly, they sure didn't know what to do that they just kept walking wherever they walk to. What an easy life they lead. Kichirou sure didn't want that.

He hoped that he wasn't the only one left, was there no more survivors in this madhouse? It'll suck if he's the only one left, was there no one else?!

His eyes quickly glanced around, there was a small group of zombies heading somewhere, he waited until they were out of sight and he ran again, where to? Who knows, for now, he kept his surroundings with utmost alertness, to see if there were survivors. He felt the adrenaline to run and run, to see his home once again, to check if his parents are alright.

(Quite short. u.u I'll make up for it later!)

((So I was thinking, that due to the number of people in this rp, as well as the plot for it, confusion will probably arise more than we want it to. Instead of waiting for our turn in order to ask questions and answer people. As well as to avoid doing what we did before with spamming this thread with our concerns, I was thinking that we could make a separate thread for our questions or expressions of confusion. I don't know what section something like that would be in but I've seen things like that on other sites and I think it' might be a good idea for this one.))

Being the fact that he was twenty one and had been for a good four or so months now... you'd think he'd look the age that he was as well. However, he wasn't big at all... he was short, a measly 5'6" and not at all muscular. Not exactly lean either though, but if there was muscle anywhere on his body, it was probably in his thighs. So when a shadow suddenly came to loom over him while he was crouched down in the corner by the doors, trying to think of a plan, he cowered in fear at the fact that this man, dead or not, was very much bigger than him.

He panicked and from his mouth a gasp of terror came tumbling out before he could stop it. The monster hadn't even been looking at him, it had obviously wandered aimlessly over here... but as soon as Yasuo made even the smallest of sounds the figure standing in front of him had turned all it's attention to the direction the sound had come. He tried to move but found that fear was holding him down, dulling his movements and he found himself pathetically trying to crawl away. It took the beast literally diving for him to successfully break him free of his fear, for the moment, and scurrying to his feet. His footsteps and breaths weren't at all quiet though and the blood covered body was staggering towards him only seconds later.

A wall behind him. The only way out in front of him... and one obstacle in-between. He clutched the cold metal in his hand, wondering how much force he could get behind a good swing given the situation. He had no time to think though, he only knew that in order to make the biggest impact he would need momentum. With little options though he did the best with what he had. Taking too quick steps, the monster too close to get a good run in, he pushed off with his feet just a bit and with both hands on the metal weapon between his hands he swung up and it successfully made contact with the underside of the once-humans jaw.

There was a sickening crack, but more than that, the figure was sent reeling backwards and from its mouth there was a spray of blood. The blonde looked up only momentarily before he noticed and quickly covered his face. He knew it was on him though, for the first time, in his hair and on his clothes, he had blood on him. He had saved his face but... it was on him.

He let out the the smallest of whimpers before muttering ever so quietly, "What the hell?" his voice was low but he could hear the own cracking in it as the absurdity of the situation was finally getting to him.

He had been in shock but the ringing of whatever had clattered to the ground was ringing in his ears. In front of him the body of the man, once another student like himself lay still in a pile of club activity supplies it had obviously stumbled back into. Of course, it was still for only a moment before slowly getting back up. There wasn't enough force behind his strike and he knew that no matter what he did now, this little metal bar wouldn't get him very far. It was all he could use right now though and he didn't even give the room another look over in hopes of finding something better before he ran, jumped over the zombie and headed back for the door.

Stopping suddenly he saw them closing in, obviously drawn in by the sound and scanning the area he could see no one obviously alive. There was no more screaming, at least not around here, and it was at that moment that he realized that he could very well be the very last person alive. The entire area was covered in them too, and he suddenly remembered how all of the students, like himself, were heading for the front doors. For all he knew, this was the entire school having been killed in an attempt to reach the school gates. Would the school building be safer?

He didn't think on it anymore and ran for the path that led to the back doors. Two double doors, like the front, but the only reason there were doors back here at all were to lead to the outdoor club rooms. So there really wasn't anything of value out here anymore, or so he thought before out of the corner of his eye he saw, in a puddle of blood lay a baseball bat. Someone had either been fighting their way out, or had been surprised while they were practicing. Either way the boy grinned. Maybe a longer reach was just what he needed so he dipped in and out of the zombies once more as he ran towards it, only saving the weapon in his hand for when one of them was reaching towards him.

He picked up the bat, giving a little satisfied, "Mine." before changing direction and running for the back doors. They were very aware of his presence thanks to his heavy breathing and the grunts of those around him that were lunging towards him so he watched as they all turned in his direction. Reaching the doors he grabbed the handle, pulled it open and literally jumped inside before pulling both of them closed as quickly as possible. He did not know what was going on behind him, the hall way he now stood in, but he did know that the zombies outside, unless they knew how to open doors, would not be able to get inside. That was enough to calm him just a little bit before he had to worry about what was going to come next.

The school right now, seemed like a dead area.Zombies were everything that could be seen. Was that really the end for all of these students?Couldn't there be made some antidote for this infection?

Hayato would never answer these questions just because he wasn't even sure if he was going to live any longer?

Maybe that was his last day..Ah,he wanted to do so many things before to die and now what?He was going just to leave this world like that? Like he would let this happen.

Takahashi was trying to move as quiet as possible, because even the smallest sound could cost his life. The student remembered that few minutes before all this happened,he saw someone on the roof.If that one was still alive,he surely could answer why all this happened - or at least that's what he was feeling.

While trying to reach the roof a group of zombies noticed him.Ah,shit his sword hit the wall while he was trying to escape from that group, which at first seemed to enjoy their "meal" eating..or hatever they were doing with some girl.

Hayato managed to kill the first zombie, but three more attacked him.Why were they so fast? One of the zombies pushed him down, but thanks god Hayato managed to hit the zombie with the back of his sword and got up running into the closest room he saw.

The zombies followed him inside the room, but Takahashi managed to hide behind one of the desks, keeping quiet and hoping they won't find him.

(I will just do as you said Marionette. And yes, that might be a good idea.^^)

It didn’t seem as if the zombies noticed him yet. They pushed, shoved and pulled. Why did they collect around there, what drew their attention? He lowered his head and withdrew it behind the wall again. With that crowd of monsters there, he wouldn’t be able to make it to the fire escape. //Fu*k. What now? If I can’t escape through there then……// he started his thoughts only to stop again. He didn’t want to think about the outcome of it. Not the front door, not the rooftop. Where should he go to? Just jumping out of the window seemed to be only escape route. But if there wasn’t something to catch him, he would be dead either way.

Only now he could here faint grunts in front and……in the back. //No! Tell me that isn’t true. They weren’t there earlier!// he chanted, only to turn his head sideward’s to glance at the oncoming herd of the living dead. His heart started pounding without rest. He wanted to scream but felt his throat constricted. No, he wouldn’t. That was just what they wanted, to make him become a prey. He stood stock still, not making a sound. If they were so much as focusing at sounds, then if he was just standing there, they wouldn’t hurt him right? That was his only hope right now so he followed it. Step after step. They came closer on closer, he could slowly feel their stench reaching up to him, they foul mouth odour making him want to turn his head away.

What he didn’t expect however, was that something or someone grabbed him. A hand clapped over his mouth and he wanted to fight back. But after seeing the still lively eyes of the other, he could guess what he wanted to do. The student was proven that the one that grabbed him was indeed a living being, not a zombie. So, despite his hate for the closeness they were currently in, he let himself be let away. Though it didn’t happen much, he trusted the other now. After he heard the others voice, he felt secure. There was someone other that was alive. His chance of living though this was slowly starting to rise. “Fire escape on the rooftop, I wanted to escape there.” Kaoru whispered back towards Nikolaevich, following him. Though he knew that it was impossible now. The boy formed fists again, ready to strike if they got busted. Hopefully not but Kaoru knew his luck.

(Well, you can post on the thread for requirements we all first met for this RPG. I will re-open it only for us to talk out things there.)

When they managed to get out of the crowd with living dead bodies, Nikolaevich leaned on the wall in one of the many corridors. He slid eyes close, for a moment forgetting about the boy with him. "Damn. It's spreading faster than I thought. How many areas are infected? The neighborhood? No,may be the whole area... or the whole city?",he brought his hand up to massage his temples. He was getting only a damned headache and nothing else.

-"That's not good...",he mumbled and opened his eyes to focus on Kaoru. The boy was alive, indeed. Yarite closed by and grabbed the other by the jaw, pinning him against the wall as made a turn on his heels.

-"Were you bitten?",he locked eyebrows in a frown and titled the boy's head to side, looking for bites. His eyes danced upon the boy to inspect for any even smallest scratch - None. Ignoring the rudeness, Arita was paranoid right now. He wasn't a person who would care, but when something he did and it was wrong - his whole stomach would turn upside-down. Supposedly that rude behavior might anger the other,Yarite let go quickly of him and turned his head to side - a glance towards the window.

-"Oh,boy..",the sight-view wasn't any close to being nice. The whole school yard was like a zoo of dead. Yarite turned to another side, looking for something certain, or so it seemed."The announcement room.",he moved glance to the boy in front of him. Probably Nikolaevich looked like some mental, especially with his bleached white hair - it didn't even make him close to looking normal. However, as such,he jabbed the other in an attempt to look for a cellphone. After all,he was a genius and damned he would be if let himself give in to the dead-brains surrounding him.

When he "stole" the boy's cellphone,he didn't waste time explaining, he just pulled the other by the arm and said by low voice,

-"We should check for others that can be still alive."

As they headed for the room, where all official announcements were made through the school radio, Yarite recorded the following thing on the phone - "You have 15 minutes to get to the school's hall-room in the west wing. Remember, 15 minutes."

He knew that all zombies will head for whatever made sound,so he couldn't risk their lives in that room, they had 15 minutes as well - so best was to let the recorded audio there for repeating until it was destroyed by the zombies.
