Ellian looked upon the ruins and knew this was bad. As they approached he felt his world spin a little an he grabbed onto the side of the crumbling building. The blond elf was starting to fade and knew the joining could help him. Looking down at his hand he noticed the veins on the back of it were becoming more noticeable since he was getting paler by the moment.

His head shot up at the words spoken by a person he didn't know. Hearing Reno anger made him grit his teeth, angering someone else with magic was never a good idea. She had not yet come across as hostile and he would rather keep her as such, "We are neither we come looking for something in this chest which seems to be here no longer..."

Alistair felt his heart sink as he saw the ruins. He knew they would be in bad shape but this was worse than he feared. Looking at the chest he knew the scrolls were gone and seeing this apostate made him feel unsure of himself. Preparing himself he was ready to grab his sword when necessary, "did you take them from the chest? Are you some kind of sneaky witch thief?"

The dirty blond human watched her carefully. Great another mage... He places a hand on Reno's shoulder, "don't do anything rash." He worried about this mans temper and traveling with him.

"Look little bitch, we are here on Warden business you better tell us where are the documents from here, or I will personally rip off your heart and tear off your skin, piece by piece!"

She scoffed at the insult and Fenrha's lips tipped up in amusement.

"We are neither we come looking for something in this chest which seems to be here no longer..."

"Here no longer?" Were her words as she looked Reno down her nose. "Invoke a name that means nothing here, if you would, I am not threatened." Fenrha watched her silently.

"did you take them from the chest? Are you some kind of sneaky witch thief?"

"How very eloquent." She looked at Alistair and her look alone told what she thought of him. Then she looked at Fenrha and interest sparked in her eyes. "You there, halfbreed. People like you are not easily intimidated. Tell me your name and I shall tell you mine."

"I am Fenrha, a pleasure to meet you." Fenrha stated lightly, almost casually.

"Now that is a proper civil greeting, even here in the wilds." She sounded shocked, her voice sounding lighter as her words continued. "You may call me Morrigan. As for the documents you are looking for, 'twas not I who removed them."

"We need those treaties and it would greatly help us if you told us who took them." Fenrha asked mildly.

"'twas my mother, in fact." Morrigan replied, crossing her arms across her chest.

"May you take us to her?"

"Now there is a sensible request. I like you." She laughed and Fenrha frowned. "Follow me if it pleases you." Were her words as she began to walk.

Fenrha followed, knowing that his other companions were right behind him. He looked over his shoulder and gave Reno a bland look. "Better than I have hoped." He murmured lightly before looking back in front of him.

The more they walked into the heart of Kokari Wilds, the more it seemed that the forest was bare with darkspawns. There were a few that they saw but they were far away for them to really be able to engage. It seemed that wherever this Morrigan and her mother lived, it was somewhere secluded. Fenrha really did not mind. He knew the path that they have traveled and it would be easy for him to recall it if need be.

"Mother," Morrigan began and Fenrha snapped himself in his quiet contemplation. "There are four Grey Wardens who-"

"I see them, girl. I have eyes." The woman in front of the shabby old hut seemed different. Fenrha could not place it specifically, but there was something that bothered him about this woman. If Morrigan was an apostate, it would mean that this woman was one too. "And before the four of you could spout anything, here are your treaties. I have protected them." Were her words as she handed old worn parchments to Alistair.

Reno didn't like this crazy bitch at all, but he followed silently Fen, he didn't want to leave him alone. He will look back at the other as he spoke to him. "Don't take down your guard." He will simply respond as he will sigh and look to the side, he was memorizing every single detail which he could through the place which they was walking.

"I don't like being dragged in the heart of the Wilds, without any explanation." He will say looking at Alistair, because seems like only Alistair was the other one who didn't like that, he will note however that the elf which they recruit was getting worse, he will sigh softly as he will take one of the Elf's arm, and wrapped around his neck to help him walk.

"Now now, don't die when I am around, I won't let you give up so easily." He will say as he will frown a bit, helping the elf to walk easier then before with his help he will sigh as they finally reach up to their destination he had to admit that the place was quite charming.

Ellian was about to pull back from Reno but didn't have the strength to really do so. So he just let this man help him along. The blond elf looked at the two mages realizing the life they lived. Hiding in a hut in the wilds away from everyone else. Like his people did. Looking over at Reno for a moment he noticed even though this man had harsh words he wasn't all that bad.

Alistair was unsure of all this and completely on guard. He took the scrolls and looked down at them, "oh you kept them safe. Thank you." The dirty blond man looked up at the women before them. These apostates saved their scrolls... but why?

"Why did you take them? They had seals on them... although it looks like their gone now," Alistair looked at the scrolls then over at the women once again. Why would they save them? Unless they had something planned for them.

"And why would I not? Take them to your Grey Warden and tell them that this Blight's threat is greater than they realize." Were her words and Fenrha did not like them one bit.

"Thank you for giving them to us." Fenrha replied lightly and the woman laughed.

"Such manners. Always the least place you expect, like stockings." She laughed again, probably thinking that her jest was good. "Oh do not mind me. You have what you came for."

"Yes," Morrigan commented in her ever I'm-superior-than-you kind of voice. "You should leave."

"Don't be ridiculous, girl." The older of the two reprimanded. "They are your guests."

"Come along then, if it pleases you." She sighed, making Fenrha think that she thought of them as a waste of time.

They followed her and true to what he had expected, she guided them out of the wilds. She was a silent escort, only commenting from time to time as to what she thought of Alistair's intelligence and sometimes things about the beasts of the wilds. Fenrha found, much to his amusement that Alistair shared the same sentiment towards Morrigan and a few occasional times about what Reno thought of her.

When they were near the camp gates, Morrigan simply vanished and Fenrha understood the precaution that she did. He did not like apostates but he believed that not all of them practiced dark magic. Or even Blood Magic.

Duncan was waiting for them, as expected.

"I trust your business in the wilds had gone smoothly?" Was his immediate question.

"Yes." Fenrha nodded lightly. "Although, Elian looks worse for wear."

"Ah, yes." Duncan sounded weary. Tired maybe. "To that end we should begin with the Joining Ritual." He looked at Alistair. "The ritual will be held at the old temple, Alistair guide them there." And just as quickly, he left.

When Morrigan lead them to the door, he will walk towards it as he will push Duncan with his shoulder to the side to can he enter he didn't even wait for him to say something he just passed by, he was too angry that he had to spend time with this shitty dark apostate, he hate them so much, because of a moment and little detail in his past, when he was inside the guard will move to the side not even trying to speak with Reno, when he noticed how angry he was, everyone knew that when Reno is angry, you better not bother him, or you will face his ire.

Reno will just go back to his usual spot at one of the walls as he will rest his hands down at the edge of the raised barrier making sure that no one will drop over the wall, as he will look forward into the beautiful view, such views always managed to calm down Reno, no matter how angry he is, because of his love to the nature, he had to admit that he was feeling rather connect with it, and he would enjoy on every beautiful spot which he can find in it.

Reno was rather silent, till the beginning of the ritual, he would spent his whole time there. Reno was rather lonely in this world, of the Gray Wardens when he was one of them, he was indeed very powerful person, but he was feeling rather not on place when he was in the camp, or between other Gray Wardens, like this wasn't his spot at all, like he need to be out there in the nature, spending most of his time in protecting it or something like that, but even so Reno is a lone wolf since his birth this wasn't any different.

Alistair was irritated with Morrigan but he was happy once they reached the fortress once again. Seeing her vanish before them made him freak a little as he glanced around then realized she was really gone from there group. Leading them in he nodded to Duncan and brought them to the area. Standing there he waited to begin the words.

Before the ritual started he went to Reno and patted his shoulder, "come on we need to get the boys ready and speak the words." The dirty blond winked at him before walking over to the area again. He spoke the words that were said before.

"Join us brothers and sisters.

Join us in the shadows where we stand vigilant.

Join us as we carry the duty that can not be forsworn.

And should you perish, know that your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

And that one day we shall join you."

Ellian listened to the words spoken and felt the room spinning a little. He didn't want to admit he was falling but it was happening. The blond elf held the cup in his hands and sipped it. He felt an odd foce race through his frame before he slipped unconscious to the floor.

Alistair let out the air he was holding thankful he survived the joining, "only one of us died during my joining... but it was terrible."

  • 2 weeks later...
Archdemon_Cutscene.jpg

One way or another Fenrha had expected that darkspawn blood would be used in their Joining, but he had not anticipated that they were gonna drink it. The idea presented no grace to him but he knew that it was necessary and when Duncan told them that it could kill them, he understood why The Joining had been kept secret from the rest of the world. It seemed that Grey Wardens payed prices sometimes sooner then later.

He looked at Ellian and nodded lightly as the elf collapsed to the floor, unconscious but alive. He took the chalice when Duncan gave it to him, stared at it's content in mild disgust before taking a gulp.

"From this moment forth, You are now a Grey Warden." Duncan had said, but Fenrha barely heard him as he fell to unconsciousness.

"Hello, Mage." The familiar voice stated as I opened my eyes and found out that I was in the Fade. Nothing really had ever changed in this place and sometimes, constantly being here when I slept made the scenery a bit boring and although I am curious as to where the Black City is situated, I dared not intrude upon those corrupted grounds.

I looked to the creature sitting just beside a facsimile of an Arvarr statute and had to shake my head. I never knew why it constantly bothered me and although the firt time we met it tried to take control of me, ever since then it had not attempted another try. It doesn't seem to be a threat so I do nothing as I focus my attention in making the stitches of the fade appear. The time to sleep would come soon but it was not at this moment.

Fenrha opened his eyes, frowning lightly as a vision of sorts passed behind his eyes. He shrugged his head to clear it before looking to the side and spotting Duncan, talking to Alistair. He looked around and found that Ellian was still out cold and wondered if the elf saw the same vision he did.

He stood, dusting his robes before looking up at the night sky. "It's over. I'm fine." He mumbled silently to himself.

Reno kept silent almost through the whole time when he was looking out through the view. Then suddenly he felt a hand to rub and squeeze his shoulder, Ren looked over his shoulder as he saw Alistair, smiling a bit he nodded and followed him through the camp. Suddenly as he was walking Reno felt something press him, suddenly a different images start playing through his eyes view, he was seeing a fierce storm, and people gathered in front this so to speak ruins, on the other side there was the darkspawns, it was more then clear that this was future, but before he can get more information he returned to the current place.

He looked around, it felt like it did pass few minutes but it was just few seconds, Alistair was just few steps ahead of him, he will shake slightly his head to can he come back to himself as he will walk after Alistair, when they manage to get to the place where the ritual was going to be held, few of the wizards there called him to can they get ready with the liquid which everyone was suppose to drink. It did take some time, but he was there just for the final adds, when the drink was ready Reno return to the ritual place and gave the cup with the blood to the one who was going to give it to the new recruits, getting next to Alistair, when the elf took the cup he heard Alistair to start saying the sacred vow, he will join with him in the words:

"Join us brothers and sisters.

Join us in the shadows where we stand vigilant.

Join us as we carry the duty that can not be forsworn.

And should you perish, know that your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

And that one day we shall join you."

The voice of them two, made a great echo and sounded very good when they both talk, they saw how the two males drop down on the ground and lost consciousness, Reno will sigh softly as he will then leave the place. He was waiting for them both to wake up in the tent in which they was laying, he was looking at dark star sky, he noticed that near by Duncan and Alistair was talking about something, Reno just sighed and shake up lightly his head.

Alistair smiled softly at the new recruits and that they survived, "I'm glad you all are here. The battle will begin in a couple hours, I suggest you relax or eat something. When I had something to eat afterwards I felt much better." The blond man nodded to them and looked over at Fenrha. He then walked slowly over to him and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Would you like me to get you anything?"

Men were hustling about the camp preparing for the war that was already in progress but the people weren't taking it really seriously. Most of these poor men have never even seen a darkspawn and now they were thrown into the front lines.

Ellian shifted and leaned against a tree for a moment as he got his barrings. That vision was horrible. The keeper spoke of such images before but to actually see them for himself... These creatures were horrible. Taking a deep breath he grabbed his pack and pulled out something to nibble on and drank some water as well.

That drink tasted terrible, because well because of what it was, and he felt parched. The blond elf sat down on a stool and looked around at the others. This was a terrible thing for people to endure, death or becoming somewhat of a monster. He had been tainted so either way he would either become one of them or a Grey Warden to even survive it.

Fenrha nodded towards Alistair. He really did not think much of the vision. He had them often enough for them not to bother him anymore.

"It's over. I'm fine." He stated silently, taking out his water skin before wordlessly passing it towards Ellian. He knew that the water here tasted bad, that was why he made some of his own.

"I made that, so don't worry about me trying to poison you." He muttered, taking out a piece of dried beef and nibbling on it. "I've added a grounded elfroot and a few drops of stamina potion. With the two of those mixed with water, the taste actually becomes better." He looked towards the horizon and had to wonder about the state of activity the camp was in.

"The King has decided that the two of you, with Reno and Alistair would be the ones to light the beacon in the Tower of Ishal." Duncan stated, wandering in the ruins of the old temple where Fenrha and Ellian were. "Lighting the tower is essential for the battle is about to begin." He looked to the side and motioned for Alistair and Reno to join them.

"And if the Archdemon appears?" Fenrha asked, turning his attention towards the Grey Warden Commander.

"Then leave the fighting to us. I want no heroics from the four of you." He chided lightly, like a father would to his child.

Then the trumpet sounded and the camp burst into a flurry of activity.

"Death will come across important person." He will cut off throuhg the four of them and the Gray Warden Commander "It can't be avoid, you should stay close to the ones which are important for you here." He will say, and with that he will stand up and go to his tent to get his last few valuables, he had to admit that he wanted to relax and to just forget for all this, but he couldn't.

Getting few stuffs, knowing that he won't come back here, because he saw the whole camp burning in his last vision, he had to gather everything valuable and just forget about this place at least for now. Reno had since little this strange ability sometime to see visions, when he became Gray Warden the visions became more clear, and he was able to tell few facts, but he couldn't see faces, it was rather strange, but he knew that someone will die important and there was nothing which he or they could do, it was meant to happen.

And for the second part of his vision he saw the camp burning so it was more then clear to him, that there is no way back here, at least not for now. Leaving his tent with a bag, in which he manage to gather cloths, potions which he made. First Aid kits, and few other stuffs was everything which he took, and of course his mother necklace, which was giving to him long time ago, he never separate with it. Joining the rest four, he was just following orders for last time, but he didn't knew that yet.

Alistair made a face when Duncan said he was to only light the beacon. After talking with the King they had a chance to talk to Duncan before the battle began. He wanted to be beside him in battle and tried to argue but Duncan would hear none of it. The dirty blond sighed and nodded his head, "Duncan, may the Maker watch over you."

"May he watch over us all."

Little did Alistair know that those would be the last words he heard from the man. He was like a father to him so the thought of loosing the man... he didn't want to think about it. Shaking his head he headed towards the tower with the group. He could hear the battled happening below and knew they needed to move fast.

Ellian sipped the water. It wasn't that he didn't trust them, he just didn't know them. This world was foreign to him and he wanted to learn about it as much as he could. The blond Elf readied his weapons and stood beside the others feeling a bit better actually. Drinking the taint seemed to help stop what was ever taking place in his body.

Taking a deep breath he listened to the humans talking in such a grim way. Did Duncan know something was going to happen? He wasn't sure but it made him think back about his family. Tamlen... whatever happened to him? He was worried about his friend... well they were a little closer than friends and just hadn't had the courage to do much though. He gripped the front of his armor feeling his heart twinge.

Fenrha nodded to himself as battle was waged just below them and although the bridge they were on provided leverage, the darkspawn below were still able to make casualties by throwing large flaming rocks on them. Lines of archers fell in front of his eyes and Fenrha could do nothing but to push forward.

"Tower of Ishal is taken by darkspawn!" One soldier said as he stopped before them. "They came out from the ground. Everyone's dead."

"Go. We'll take care of it." He stated lightly, rushing past the man and witnessing a few soldiers fighting, bravely but in vain. "Don't leave a single one of this monsters standing." He stated behind his shoulder as he began casting spells.

An arrow whizzed past his cheek almost centimeters from grazing the skin before he looked at the offending group of five hurlocks and throwing a fireball in their direction. They exploded in a burning mass of rubble but Fenrha was now on the entrance doors, slashing and stabbing darkspawns as they got close to him.

The interior of the tower lay in ruins and Fenrha just knew that there were more darkspawn in there than the ones that they just encountered. He continued walking forward, knowing that his companions were right beside him. Then a fireball came out of nowhere and he just had enough time to create a barrier before it struck and exploded before his eyes. "Kill the emissary." He stated as more darkspawn flooded the room.

He rolled to the side, arrows passing the space where he was a few moments before as he hid himself behind a column. He looked to the side and spotted one hurlock archer that was aiming at the back of Reno. Fenrha extended his hand and black liquid oozed and sped towards the creature, embedding themselves and sinking deep into it's skin when they stuck. The hurlock seemed disoriented for a few seconds before it inflated and exploded and every other darkspawn that was hit with the explosion suffered the same fate. Fenrha smiled as they continued to push on.

He would have not believed it but seeing the four of them in action, he noticed that they all worked well together and orders were just a means to say something, not really necessary when everyone knew what they needed to do. It was like they had a mental connection and each of them knew what the others were thinking. The darkspawn that they encountered were also organized but they stood no chance against the four of them.

Four Genlocks rushed at him and Fenrha waved his hand in front of him, turning the creatures into ice before they even got a foot close to him. He threw another fireball to the side, killing the last of the group that defended the room they were in and the last of what had been in the tower. The room that lied behind the door past the stairs was the room where the beacon was located and Fenrha wasted no time in going to it and opening it.

'Big but killable nonetheless', was the thought that passed Fenrha's mind at what they saw in the room. It was an ogre and it seemed that the creature was hungry, if the pile of human bones were not an indication, maybe it was the arm or maybe it was a foot that the creature was chewing on. Fenrha took a step towards the interior of the room and readied his hands.

When they walked down through the bridge Reno will raise his both hands as a large couple of shield will surround and protect from the flames, moving his hands down like he was going to stab his fingers in the ground, the shield this way shaped and shout forward through the whole length of the bridge giving them a protective shield long enough for them to pass.

When he heard the others talking and Fenrha ordering them to get out and leave everything to them, he saw it a bit unbalanced, but he had faith into Fen's calculations, walking after him when they entered inside the large building Reno's eyes will wide up, it was full with orcs a lot of them, like they had no number, he kneeled down and rest his palm on the ground creating a blue mark underneath them which would increase their protection and damage as he will stand up and walk at the many monsters "Let's finish them off!" He will say and look towards the creatures, sending few lightning bolts towards the mobs, but in the mean time and healing from time to time.

He noticed that Fenrha almost was out of mana, so he cast a spell to restore part of his mana hitting him with the spell he smirked as he placed his back on Fenrha's back to can they have 360 degree eyes all over the room, after he noticed that the other saved him. He raised a shield in front of him who surrounded them as well, giving him chance to land few attacks and in the mean time to heal.

He noticed that the elf and Alistair need heal too, so he concentrate as a large mark spread underneath his legs and spread all over the room healing them all over time, including their armor if it was braked or something like that. The battle end before he even realize it.

Running with the rest of the people forward through the upstairs, they stopped in front a large door, which was the door for the last floor, Reno looked at Fenrha he pushed the door, as he gulped softly looking at the large creature "Oh, god!" He will mumble looking at him "We will have a lot of work to do here, before we light up the tower." He will mumble as he will gulp once more.

Ellian really put his training to work. Walking forward he let loose arrow after arrow and usually three at a time. His feet were quiet against the ground as he stepped and eyes steady as he spotted each enemy. Noticing some archers further away then most humans could see he took those out so they wouldn't hit them. The blond Elf turned dodging arrows and flipped back to dodge a sword that sliced at him.

Turning across the ground seemingly in slow motion his feet kicking up a little dirt. He stood and sliced into that hurlock with his short sword. Grabbing his other sword he stepped past that hurlock and stabbed another in the back. This dance seemed almost natural to all of them. Seeing the magic blast past them he could almost count his movements in rhythm with the others.

Alistair bashed his shield against a hurlock throwing it back and right into the path of a spell. Turning the dirty blond slashed his sword into another, "Ahhh!!" He yelled to draw their attention from the others. Bring in his heavy armor and weapons he preferred if they attacked him. He always fought so hard for the people he cared about and being separated from Duncan was killing him. That man was like a father to him!

"YAAAHHH!!!" he sliced through another and walked through the doors seeing the large ogre eating someone. He hadn't faced one of these before but that wasn't about to stop him now. Rushing forward he lead the fight aiming to distract the creature before it could charge into them or harm the others. Getting a couple hits in he knew it was injured but the creature suddenly grabbed him and slammed him against the ground.

Coughing up blood his head swam. This creature was very strong... He started to loose consciousness and his sword dropped from his hand.

Ellian leaped onto the back of it stabbing it several times causing horrible wounds and blood to pour from the back of it. Loosing Alistair wasn't something he wanted. He wasn't about to loose someone again! Slicing it across the back he knew it had almost no life left in it.

"Tough." Fenrha stated lightly, jumping to the side just before a boulder was thrown at where he had been a few seconds ago. He saw Alistair cough blood and the distraction that Ellian had done. He nodded his head, redying his spell and immediately unleashing it once the elf was back to the ground.

His eyebrow gave a slight twitch as the ogre fought against the prison that he made, bashing against invisible restraints that slowly crushed it. Fenrha smirked, stretching his hands in front of him before twisting them as if he was opening something big, just as two demonic hands appeared beside the ogre, each of which taking hold of it's shoulders and pulled, exactly as what Fenrha was doing. He gave a silent growl just as the hands tore the thing in two, in a virulent parting of bones and muscle, coupled with a shower of blood.

He fell to his knees, panting lightly and one eye glowing fluorescent blue before vanishing just as quickly as it appeared. The spell he used was easy enough to manipulate but it was hard to use against large things. The bigger that opponent, the more mana it consumed. Fenrha breathed deeply, feeling as if he had physically tore that ogre himself. He gave a cough, noting that one of his companions had already lit the beacon.

----------

The entire battlefield was clear on his vantage point and every soldier of the kingdom was behind him. He looked at main ruins of Ostagar and had to frown in distaste. He had warned the King and everything else that would follow would be for the best. The light flared and he gave a mirthless chuckle. That was his cue.

"Sound the retreat." General Loghain stated with indifference.

"But what about the King?" Sir Cauthrien, his most loyal second in command, protested.

"Do as I command." She followed and the entire army that was supposed to flank the darkspawn moved away from the battle, leaving everyone behind to their imminent deaths.

He smirked just before he turned and left.

----------

Fenrha wondered what was happening outside. With the beacon lit, the army Loghain commanded would have flanked the darkspawn by now. He nodded his head silently, with what they did, the tower should be clear of any remaining darkspawn and even though he wanted to help with the battle below, Duncan had told them to remain there and protect the beacon.

The doors slammed open and Fenrha just had enough time to turn before a couple of arrows embedded themselves in him. Then everything went dark.

Rene eyes will twitch as he watched how Loghain army was retreating, it was more then clear what was going to happen next, the death which he foresaw will come down across the whole land. "We've been betrayed." He will simply say, but with one thought in his mind, he was going to take down Loghain with his own hands. When Rene heard the door open he will teleport to near by location evading few of the arrows, as he will fight with the archers, but before he managed to hold them back, the army of hordes just rush through the door too much for him and the second thing which he remembered was a sword hold, near him and that was the moment when he blacked out.

Alistiar looked to his companions as he watched in slow motion as the Darkspawn ran in shooting them. He trembled on the ground and coughed up a bit more blood before he blanked out as well.

Floating... Where was he? Who was talking to him? Duncan? No he could hear female voices...

Slowly he blinked and started to come too. Looking around he finally found the source of the talking. It was Morrigan and her mother they had met before. Then his world started to crumble. They explained what happened at the battlefield and the horror brought on the men and... Duncan...

The blond man stood and walked outside standing by the fire. Everyone was gone but the other Grey Wardens he had with him survived but would they make it through the night. His hands covered his face as he tried to hold back the tears.

Ellian couldn't remember what happened but now he was waking up in the cabin. Glancing around he noticed the others nearby as well. The blond elf slowly sat up his sore body not really wanting to move. What had happened to them? He ran his fingers through his hair and saw Morrigan standing by the fire in the hut. Looking over at the others he noticed they were starting to stir and wanted to wait until they awoke to see if they knew what happened to them.

"How very lucky of you, Mage." The familiar voice taunted. "You are still alive. But that is no question. You are very powerful and it would take more to kill you."

"Why do you pester me, demon?" Fenrha snapped irritably, wondering if the others survived. "Why don't you go back to the black hole that you crawled out of."

"Now where is the fun in that?" The demon grinned, baring countless fangs. "Besides, while I am here, fewer demons would dare to annoy you when you're in the fade."

"So you're protecting me from them?" Fenrha scoffed. "You're just waiting for me to die so that you could take control of my body."

"Is that such a bad thing?" The demon asked, mock hurt lacing his words. "With a mage as powerful as you, I would be able to make the world bow before me!"

Fenrha narrowed his eyes, gesturing his hands outwards and sending the hulking demon flying with the force of his magic. A smile broke on his lips against his will. That one felt good. If only he was this powerful in the real world and not only in the fade. He shook his head and closed his eyes.

An orange glow illuminated half of the room, shadows constantly dancing around the edges as the flame twisted and flicked sideways. The room was small, packed with necessary things and only an occasional vase here and there. There was a chest beside the fireplace, another one just against the headboard of one bed, a few sheets and clothing strewn about here and there. But mostly the interior was barren of things that decorated a house.

Fenrha opened his eyes and immediately rolled to the side when he noticed that his upper half was not covered. He silently cursed, picking his robes and quickly putting it on. He wondered how much the people that brought them here had seen. He looked at his left hand and silently agreed that the marks were not as prominent as before, so it was possible that they had seen nothing. And if they saw it, they probably just thought of them as scars. He closed his eyes before inhaling deeply, turning around and seeing that Ellian was already awake, Alistair nowhere and Reno still asleep. He bent, taking two vials of the potion that he had made and threw one in the direction of the elf.

"It will help." He stated silently before walking towards Reno's bed and putting the other vial beside his head, just like what he did when they were still in the Circle Tower. He gave a light nod, moving towards the door and opening it as sunlight flooded his vision.
