Plot:

There was no answer as to how it happened, and there was no answer on what would happen now. But there is the fact that the Saiyan home planet is back, and so is the race itself. Yet, the two earth-living Saiyan's have no idea until one day... They are out watching Goten and Trunks spar while Gohan is off with Sharpener and Videl working on a project. Goku had wandered off after realizing they weren't alone, and well, walked into a mirror image of himself, but with a few differences. That person wasn't the only one, two others were with him, Fasha, and Toma. From there, there is only one thing to say. The King wants his son back on the home planet, and he will do anything to get him back...and once there, who knows what can happen...

------

Not to mention there are Saiyan enemies right around the corner, ready to get rid of the world that is now back.

Nothing can end well in this mess can it?

Rukia-K1: Goku

Subconscious_domain: Vegeta

(I'll start then):

Goku blinked, feeling some kind of energy. He turned himself away from the spar and wandered off in the direction of the energy. He glanced around the forest as he moved a branch away from his head, feeling some of the leaves land on him. He narrowed his eyes for a moment as he realized that there was an energy right next to him. He lifted his hand as he turned around.

...The last thing he expected was to find himself facing what looked like a mirror image of himself, but with a scar and a scouter over his eye. He blinked for a few moments before he decided to flare his energy in a signal for Vegeta. He kept his hand raised, ready to attack if he needed too. He took a deep breath as he analyzed the person, or...not a person as he noticed the tail behind him. Tail. Looked like him. Was he seeing some weird illusion of himself or something like that? All he knew was that all of this thinking was hurting his brain.

((Okie Dokie, so sorry it took so long, I also went a head and had a mod remove the mistakes and add in PRIVATE to the title. So we should be good :) I am excited but I DO want to warn you that long waits like that one for me to reply will probably be a normal thing. I hate waiting so I like to warn others when they will have to.))

The fact that Vegeta stood there patiently watching the boys instead of rushing off after the other Saiyan was miraculous in itself. He was itching to though. He urged the boys to continue when they stopped sparring to look over in his direction with uncertain and confused expressions. They weren't stupid, or not usually anyway, so he was sure they felt it too. If only briefly. Someone was here with them and it was obvious they felt no need to hide the fact that they basically waltzed right up to them. Not even a mile away actually, he could be there in seconds if he wanted to be.... which he really wanted to be, and yet he had let the idiot go first for whatever reason.

Though his eyes were on the two boys who's concentration was obviously lacking now, his concentration was completely on what was going on a ways away. There wasn't just one power source either, there were multiples and that in itself was worrisome enough. Were they friend or were they foe? He couldn't tell and to be honest it didn't really matter to him. His mouth turned up at the corners in a menacing smirk when he felt a sudden surge of power, a signal, and the kids immediately froze. "Don't move from this spot." he said simply before disappearing from where he stood. Did this mean foe? He would be perfectly fine with that.

In only a few seconds he was next to Goku, the dirt at his feet stirred a bit due to his sudden arrival but other than that everything around them was eerily silent. He eyed the man in front of him and although he had been raring to go at someone as soon as he got there his body language changed almost immediately. He almost always wore an irritated or brooding expression but when he was really surprised, sometimes another expression bore itself. Confusion. Shock. The arms that were crossed tightly over his chest loosened and instead he held them out in front of him, palms up which left him in a gesture that matched his equally confused expression. He simply stared at the Goku lookalike.

The tail. The scouter. The armor. It was like a blast from the past and it had been so many years since he'd seen any of it. "The hell?" he muttered under his breath before doing his best to compose himself. "He looks exactly like you." he said to the man beside him. It was obvious that Goku, or Kakarot as he called him, was just as confused as he was so he wasn't entirely sure he even had answers. Patience wasn't one of Vegeta's strong suits but just this once, due to pure curiosity, he kept his feet planted on the ground.

(It's fine~)

"Bardock where-" A woman with the same attributes as the man, tail, scouter, armor, came running up to them. She stopped dead as her eyes laid on them and her jaw opened before it clenched shut. She seemed to stare at them for a moment before she whispered. "My Prince..." She took a deep breath. "You are...alive?" She whispered and looked over him. "...and different..." She looked at the man she called Bardock who was standing in shock still.

Goku was confused. "Vegeta...I don't understand anything that is happening here..." He said, blinking a few times. He seemed cautious still, the way he was standing at a moments notice to attack was evident enough of that. He took a deep breath as he tried to comprehend what was happening. He was trying to make it seem...alright. So that the boys didn't come and get involved.

"...Kakarrot?" Goku stilled instantly as his look alike spoke his saiyan name. "Is...are..." He trailed off as the woman spoke again.

"That couldn't be him, Raditz said he was dead!" The woman argued with him and he looked at her for a moment before responding.

"But he wasn't. And he is clearly my son. I can tell that from how he mirrors me Fasha..."

Goku looked at Vegeta, willing him to have the answer to that question as he really had no idea on how he should respond to that. More so on if this person was actually his Father. Having no memories of being a saiyan were really coming back and hitting him hard at the moment. "Vegeta...I'm even more confused than before..." He seemed to pout some, and Bardock only seemed to narrow his eyes at that. Fasha blinked, wondering what in the world was wrong with this boy...and she was angry he kept referring to the prince as "Vegeta" not "Prince Vegeta."

There was no way in hell he could understand the situation, nothing here made sense but there were little facts that were easily fitting together like a puzzle. He could figure out a little bit... but to be honest, he wasn't so sure how he felt about what he was slowly coming to realize. These were Saiyans, just the two of them, there was absolutely no doubt about it. The word prince rang in his ear and at the sound of it a sent a surge of excitement through him for just a moment.

They knew he was the prince. They knew his name and they knew Kakarot's name... and they were talking like the two of them were related. Really now, it didn't make any sense as to how or why but he could piece it together. Goku on the other hand could not but... was he really surprised by that. The name Raditz that they spoke too, it was confusing but that in itself was beginning to look like enough proof. They knew a lot of things.

He narrowed his eyes, unsure of how to proceed and seeing as the idiot next to him wasn't going to be of any help... he spoke. "You are of Saiyan blood, that much is obvious." He folded his arms across his chest once more, for the first time in front of a possibly enemy he let his guard down. "I don't understand how that can be, but what I want to know is how you've been alive this entire time and -" wait, Bardock... Bardock... why was that name so familiar?

He had been child and the fact that his planet exploded and everyone had died around him made it difficult to remember anything else. He was old enough though to remember a few things... maybe not faces but that name sure sounded familiar. They looked alike as well, he and Goku. He supposed it was possible. But why hadn't they shown themselves earlier? It wasn't like Goku And Vegeta were trying to keep on the down low. On the contrary, they had done tons of ass kicking up till now so how come these two hadn't shown up util now.

"You're saying you're his father?" he asked finally, raising a hand to point over to the man beside him. It wasn't exactly a response to be proud of but he figured getting down to business was more important here than sounding less confused than he was.

"O-of course we are Saiyans!" Fasha responded to the Prince, folding her arms over her chest. "And actually, to answer the question on us being alive, something just kind of happened and we ended up all back on Planet Vegeta. Your Father thought you were forever gone my Prince, when you did not get revived as well...and yet you are here... Alive..." She murmured. She looked over the two once more, taking in what they looked like. They were very strong, that much she could tell, and yet they seemed to only be hiding power. Why? A Saiyan normally embraced the power they had... Was it too strong?

Bardock nodded. "Yes, I am. That much I can get...though may I ask where your tail's went?"

"Cut off." Goku responded before Bardock could say anymore. He blinked for a moment, still trying to understand this all. "...My head hurts..." He mumbled as he tried to figure out what was going on. Hey King Kai! He tried to call on the other, seeing if he had an answer for him. He frowned after a moment with no answer. "King Kai won't respond." He mumbled to himself as he looked at the two identified Saiyans. One was missing. "Where is the third one?" He had felt his power, and he was worried his son and Trunks would get into a fight with the missing one.

"Huh...? Oh Toma..." Fasha murmured as she looked around, trying to see where he might be. "He was here...I have no idea where he went thoug-wait...how did you know? You don't have a scouter!"

"...I can sense his energy?" Goku tilted his head, confused again. None of this was making sense to him, and his mind was in a mess. He was sure Chi-Chi would be yelling at him for being an idiot right about now if she was here. He couldn't help it. All of this made no sense. He had his "Father" here, another Saiyan, they were saying Planet Vegeta was around, and they knew Vegeta was a Prince, and he was Kakarrot. He sat down, crossing his arms and legs as he tried to think this over again. Bardock and Fasha looked at one another, wondering what was wrong with him. He clearly was a Saiyan, and Kakarrot, but...something about him was just off.

Vegeta watched Goku's mental capacity dwindle away until it seemed that he couldn't even stand and hold a normal conversation anymore. He sat on the ground and seemed to be mulling over the thoughts that were sparked by what these strangers had said so far. Vegeta, although shocked and also secretly thrilled, couldn't even express himself due to his immense need to do the yelling for Chichi. He ground his teeth momentarily in frustration before he couldn't even hold it in anymore. Dismissing the fact that they were currently in the presence of people who knew of his royalty he deliberately allowed them to see him lose his composer.

"Don't just sit on the ground!" he growled out angrily, "And don't say things like that, as if you aren't sure, you should be proud you don't need a scouter!" He said, commenting on the fact that Goku's reply was a confused 'I can sense his energy?' instead of a statement like it should have been. Honestly, he was an embarrassment sometimes. When Vegeta had been new to this planet, he had come wearing the same mighty armor that they wore and on his face was a scouter just like them. He had thought he was hot shit to be honest. Though he was quickly proved wrong.

Becoming stronger and learning how to properly build up his power earned him the ability to sense other power sources just like Kakarot and a few others on this planet. He realized suddenly that the two saiyans standing in front of him were like his past self. The Saiyans were the strongest in the universe right? But at the time of Planet Vegetas demise were there really any that could rival the power he had now? It gave him a thrill just thinking about it. He'd admitted a long time ago, although never out loud, that he was second best. Was is wrong that he was excited to know that he was far stronger than any other Saiyan alive right now? Like he was someone who cared about right or wrong.

He finally turned his attention back to the other two individuals, "You two seem just as confused as us. No matter how many things it would explain right now though, you honestly think I can believe a planet suddenly appeared with a hundred thousand of us on it? An entire race?" he could hardly believe the facts let alone the reasons behind them. He had looked past the strange looks the Goku lookalike was giving his apparent son... but he figured he shouldn't sugar coat anything and just tell the man the truth.

"On another note though... you seem a bit disappointed." he said, a twisted smirk on his face, "Is your son not what you expected?" although not being able to really believe anything quite yet, he figured he'd play along just a bit. Just so he could say something about the expression on his face.

Goku looked at Vegeta and blinked. "And is this not how I act to almost everything?" He responded before the other snapped at him for the non-scouter thing. He pouted a little. "I was unsure on how to say it! That's all!" He snapped back and crossed his arms, annoyed with the other right now. He then sighed as the other turned to talk to the others, saying then. "Wait! Vegeta could someone have gotten a hold of the Dragon Balls and wished the planet back to life with all of it's people? Like we did when Buu destroyed Earth?" He put his fist in the palm of his hand as he finally understood. "All we have to do would be ask Dende is he knows of anyone who wished for anything lately!" He seemed really proud of himself for figuring that out.

Fasha didn't understand a word that Goku had said and turned to her Prince. "We don't know Sire. All we know is that we woke up and we found ourselves alive and well on our home Planet." She responded to him.

Bardock looked at Vegeta at his next words and took a deep breath. "I am not disappointed my Prince. I am not because when he was born he had the power level of 2. I honestly didn't know if he was going to survive for a long time with such a low power level. But he's well, and alive, on top of that... I can tell he is strong. Even if his power seems weak, he is alive. It's more-"

"You do realize Vegeta and I are suppressing our energy right?" Goku questioned as he leaned back against a tree, glancing at them and then looked back to Vegeta. "We are a lot stronger, but it's best to suppress our energy. Makes it harder for foes to find us as well as the fact that it could be too much for the planet to handle if there was to much energy all of the time."

"You are kidding right?" Fasha asked. "How would, why would you want to hide your true strengt-" She was cut off as Goku looked back to her and let his power flare for just a second. A small moment, but it was enough for her scouter to literally break at the number. Bardock looked to his son, to Fasha who was staring at the broken scouter in shock. "..." She then looked to the Prince. "You can do this as well?"

The fact that they weren't getting along wasn't a surprise, Vegeta was good at getting pissed off easily and Goku was good at doing things to make that happen. This wasn't anything new after all. But somewhere in Vegeta he had a reason for overreacting this time and when the thought fluttered across his consciousness he immediately shot it down. Embarrassed that he would ever think such a thing. He should not care about the image Goku was creating for himself; easily confused and rather simple minded.

The Saiyan race was back and Vegeta was far beyond any of them by now. He was the prince and therefore was the only one that really needed an keep an image of any kind. However, the fact that the only other Saiyan that he'd been with this entire time gave no sign that he was proud of his heritage or how far he'd come... really irked Vegeta. He thought he was over this, he thought he had put his lineage behind him and that this burning need to be better was done with him. Here he was though, disappointed in the fact that Goku wasn't as proud as he was. He supposed though that he couldn't be surprised... it wasn't like Goku knew his home planet.

He had been thinking of the possibilities of someone summoning the dragon. However, he knew that if it had been summoned... they would have known. It wasn't just them on this planet either who knew about the dragon, scattered all across the earth were people who would recognize the signs of it being summoned. He just couldn't think that that would be it... although he knew they couldn't just toss the possibility aside. Not only had they not recognized any signs... he just couldn't seem to think of someone who would make such a wish. No one knew about the Saiyans except those close to them... so maybe it was a curious friend?

Vegeta was far from liked when he had come straight from the planet of Vegeta, vicious and ruthless... he could hardly name someone who wanted more beings like that suddenly coming back into existence. As a matter of fact, he was pretty sure he was still disliked. Not that he really cared though.

He had been listening to Goku's father talk about his son, about how weak he had been and how much a difference there was now... but what he hadn't expected was Goku to suddenly show him. The burst of energy and explosion of the scouter was so sudden that Vegeta was actually taken by surprise a bit. It wasn't even a fraction of his power... and yet it had already surpassed the limitations of the scouter. When he had been asked whether or not he could do it as well, he nodded and had been ready to show them as well... but seeing as there was a no longer working scouter laying on the ground and they couldn't sense energy... it would be a loss cause since they wouldn't be able to tell.

On another note though; "Don't go flaring your energy like that." He said simply, keeping his tone in check unlike before. He knew fully as to why Goku had done it but had already thought a head to the consequences, "You realize that that could be seen as an SOS signal right? Do we really need the kids showing up right now? And who knows who else's attention that caught." Until they came to understand the situation, he thought it better that no one else become involved. He wondered if it were even possible to keep others out of this but then realized that the two in front of them had an energy level high enough to turn heads and that some select people on this planet were probably already intrigued. Goku's energy flare, although small, could really have been seen as an SOS signal. Or at least Vegeta saw it as that way.

"If we had been in danger, I would have flared my energy far more. The kids would know that, 'Geta." Goku scratched the back of his head. "After all, we don't normally need to call for help." He mused to himself, before blinking. "...what does this mean then? I mean...if...the whole race is back..." He trailed off then sighed as this was hurting his head, a little too much.

"Why would you want to question that? Wouldn't it be best to come home?" Fasha and Bardock both responded at the same time.

"Home?" Goku blinked, and tilted his head in confusion. He wasn't so fast on the uptake.

"Yes, home Kakarrot." Bardock frowned at his son's actions, not sure what to really get from them. "Don't you...did you hit your head when you were little?"

Goku frowned. "Why does everyone keep asking me that?" He pouted before he nodded as well. "Yeah, I did..." He scratched his head again. "So...well...yeah..."

"That would explain his actions..." Fasha whispered and Bardock nodded at that.

"..." Goku seemed not to understand, so instead her turned to Vegeta. "What should we do about all of this 'Geta?" He questioned him, having a strong look now. "We either need to get this all straight, or get to Bulma so that she can hopefully find out what is going on." He crossed his arms then. "And if we take too long, the kids will show up anyways."

The two saiyans were not going to question why the two kept speaking about 'kids'. They honestly did not want to know, and it seemed to be best if they just got this mess figured out.

  • 1 month later...

He didn't want to be the one to say it straight out. Goku didn't seem to understand what being asked that question meant. They were asking him if he was mentally ill. Amnesia. Something of the like. They were asking because they were disappointed in how he was acting, in what he was saying... and it seemed that the other Saiyan that he had accompanied all this time didn't understand it.

They were confused because this was not a Saiyan in front of them. This wasn't Kakarot... it was Goku and they would understand that very soon he was sure. And then they would be disappointed too...

Without giving much effort into stopping his words, he spoke and surprised himself, "I want to see." he said bluntly. The sound of his woman's name rang in his head only momentarily before it was quieted by his desire to see his race once again. "You don't remember Kakarot because of that knock to your head." Yes, he understood that the confusion needed to be sorted out.

But there was another part of him that didn't give a damn. He just wanted to see for himself. Who cared if Bulma had an answer for it... it didn't change the fact that he had a family again. His father... his father. His expression changed momentarily with his thoughts and he did his best to rid himself of such expressions. However, the desire was so strong he almost couldn't keep his feet on the ground.

"I don't think it matters how they're alive." he said, his voice coming out a bit rougher than he had wanted it to, "She probably couldn't even figure it out. Dragon balls or not, they're still here. I mean, aren't you curious? It's not like you to want to know why... don't you want to see where you came from?"

He had a family now. He understood what kept Goku here... but still, it didn't stop the burning desire to go back to where he came from. And Goku... this was his father. Confusion or not, he wanted to knock him around a bit for not seeing the situation for what it was.

He let out a sigh, not waiting for an answer, "Fine, we will talk to her but she won't like. It's not like my arrival was something anyone wants to remember. They won't know what to do with more of us suddenly showing up."

Goku listened to the other before he thought about it all a little, putting a hand to his chin and thinking. "Well...yeah of course I do want to see..." He mumbled, but then sighed. "But I wouldn't fit in...and you know that 'Geta..." He glanced to the prince once again, watching him. "It does matter, and I'm sure Supreme Kai will contact us first about this anyways, we might as well figure it out before he gets angry....again." He then smiled a little. "I know she won't, but it's better than Chi-Chi trying to hit me with a frying pan." He swallowed. "A lot better."

"Who is this...woman?" Fasha questioned then, frowning. "I don't think any beings on this planet could actually-"

"Actually, yes, there are people here that can. Trust me on that. And Chi-Chi...eheh...she's not exactly normal..." Goku sweat-dropped and then rubbed the back of his head. "And trust me, she can seriously hurt someone..." He knew that all to well from the fights they had been having now. They weren't so much yelling because neither wanted to bug the kids but... He sighed and shook his head from the thoughts, wanting to get them out of his mind.

"Are you going to return home then my prince?" Bardock questioned, looking to Vegeta, then glancing at his son. "And what are you going to do my son?"

Goku glanced away, thinking about it before closing his eyes. "I don't know." He mumble, rubbing his arm then. He wasn't sure he would be good there. He wasn't...a normal saiyan. He would never be a normal saiyan... And he was quite sure not many people would want him to go there. That thought alone made him dislike the idea of going to his "home". He didn't want to be so simply pushed away, and he knew that was the true possibility with not being...a "saiyan".

  • 3 weeks later...

It was obvious that the other two had no real interest in why the two of them were here, or why Goku would hesitate at all. It didn't occur to them that his lack of memory and change of personality that was brought on by said head injury... would make him feel nothing like the alien that he was and who's blood was coursing through his veins. It wasn't like vegeta really understood either, he wasn't an understanding person to begin with but for him to read between the lines and see why Goku hesitated.... well, it was a rare thing.

For just this one time though it clicked. The way the other mans eyes looked back and forth, as if unable to focus. The uneasiness on his face both angered Vegeta as well as brought about a certain amound of sympathy for him. "We're going." he said, answering for Goku. He gave him a look but didn't say anything directly to him. "He's lived here his whole life." he said, directing his words to the two across from him.

"You can understand his hesitation, but he'll come. I suggest not accompanying us unless you really find the need, but it'll take a little bit since we do have others on this planet that would notice if we left." he didn't want to make it seem like he was attached to anything here. He didn't want either of them to seem weak but until he got himself and Goku on planet Vegeta, he wouldn't be able to fully be who he was before.

The idea of Goku not accompanying him left him with a strange feeling of disappointment and frustration. He turned to him though again, "We'll go say goodbye." was he being cruel? Probably, but if the other man wanted to whine about it and consider what he wanted, he preferred if he did it not in the presence of these two.
