The raven gently shifted from under him and replaced his spot with a pillow. "I'll be back soon." He grabbed his coat and threw it on causing it to flow behind him. He dreaded of leaving him on his own, because he had a foreboding feeling that something bad might happen (and it happened before). If it wasn't for his injured body he would assume his role as his knight and stay by him at all times. He growled softly when he tried to move his body, but protested in response. He gently squeezed his hand before heading down the hall. His broken hand throbbed as he went. Hopefully he wouldn't be forced to use it but for some reason he knew he wouldn't be so lucky. Then he just walked silently, looking back at Taki from time to time as though he was making sure that he was still there. Â Klaus had a very bad feeling about this, since with all the things that happened, this didn't bode so well. To leave Taki on his own to fight off the enemy, it felt like he is wasting him time on a holiday, while he's much needed somewhere else. He painfully sat up and sighed. He started dealing out orders and told his men where to prepare and what to do. Soon he was engrossed in the battle at hand and missed having his knight there by his side. To be his sword. He felt like the time didn't want to pass at all, he kept looking at his wrist watch of which the bigger hand seemed to be stubbornly moving at its own pace. He sighed and inhaled a drag and then watched out of the window, gazing at the ever familiar sight of the training grounds which was deserted right now. akiravadel Posted December 20, 2013 Author Share Posted December 20, 2013 BOOM!!! Â A large explosion went off right under the armored car sending it flying. They had just drove off the enemy and were turning around to head back to base. Taki was reeling blood dripping down his head. He laid there only able to hear his heart beat and breathing for several long minutes until he could hear distant screaming of his men. He tried to reach up but his broken hand was too weak to pull him out from under the vehicle. He passed out. Â The men surrounded it and were able to get their young master from the crash zone. They pulled Taki from the wreck and checked him over. It seemed he just had several scrapes and would have bruises later but the blow to his head caused him to fall unconscious. Â Taking him back into camp in another truck they called ahead for the medic to meet them. Several of the soldiers were injured too with broken bones and one was missing a hand. freakyfeline Posted December 30, 2013 Share Posted December 30, 2013 The attack was felt even at the headquarters perimeter, for a moment it felt as though there was an earthquake, and thick gray smoke rose in the distance. Klaus visibly shuddered, his body pumped with adrenaline and panicked. Despite his mild concussion and a few broken bones, it wasn't enough to stop him to see for himself what happened. He picked his coat and flung it gingerly over his shoulders. He walked down the hallway limping and with his uninjured hands he cradled his broken ribs. Watching the privates in state of panic, those who were two young or too inexperienced where left here in headquarters, however they still had their part to do. He stopped someone halfway and asked him what happened. Klaus immediately set his foot to the hospitalized building, which it was a block down. It was pouring heavily but he walked on until he arrived to the emergency state room. He shrugged off the rain like wet wolf and among the chaos and confusion he searched for him, his heart dreading. In the back there was a drape pulled around a specific bed where Taki laid. The men were mostly quiet besides a few words to a nurse or some groaning in pain. They knew their leader was close and tried to remain strong for him. The Doctor knew they would need to move him out of there once he was well enough. Â The raven was laying there breathing evenly with a wrap around his head. Luckily that was all he suffered from from the crash besides some bruising and a couple small scrapes. The doctor looking after him looked over at Klaus, "the lone wolf has found his Master hasn't he. Don't wake him... but you can see him." He pulled back the curtain to allow Klaus in. freakyfeline Posted January 5, 2014 Share Posted January 5, 2014 Klaus made his way through the chaos and felt a little relieved to see the familiar looking doctor, on different circumstances he wouldn't be as thrilled. He frowned a little by his comment but he kept his mouth shut. The blond haired man towered over to see Taki's sleeping face, and a terrible feeling of sorrow washed over him. The raven shifted in the bed almost like he was fighting an invisible person for a moment then gasped his eyes opening. The pain in his arm snapped him out of it. Blinking a couple times he looked towards Klaus. Staring at him for several long seconds his bottom lip began to quiver as he pulled his arm up over his eyes. His dear prince-soldier was injured right now it wasn't the time to give him a preach, or rather he should be blamed that he wasn't a capable knight for him. He hated watching Taki like this, and felt a pain of guilt of letting him like that. He watched him tugging on to his shirt and with his akward big arms placed them on his shuddering shoulders. 'I'll make sure I will take you one a vacation then' he said in a determined voice 'once we get out of this mess and get healthy enough to leave' he was secretly looking forward to it, because he was getting tired of all the plight they've been put through. There was a connection between them, but maybe he was also in pain. Â Taki tried to sit up but hissed in pain and held onto Klaus's hand, "s-sorry... I can't sit up at the moment." Â The commander saluted, "sorry to interrupt Sir but they sent over a message." He handed it to him. Taki grabbed with with the cast hand and held it up to read it. Clearly he didn't like people who interrupt the little private space between him and his beloved soldier prince. Despite his glare he did not say anything but just stood by Taki's side ( poor soldier haha). He kept his eyes on him as the newcommer handed out the letter to the midnight blue haired man who was currently crippled in the bed. Klaus pulled the pillows up and helped him to prop up a little. His gaze turned to Taki as he read opened the letter and started reading it. Â 'What if it is an ambush again' the blond haired man started with a foreboding anxiety dwelling in his chest. The soldier that brought him the note was honestly shocked at seeing his leader in pain. That was why he kept up the mask but he was exhausted at this point. Â The raven gave the soldier a serious look, "that you for the letter. I'll be returning to my room with the help of my knight. Double the guards and make sure they don't try anything stupid right now." Slowly he moved to the side of the bed. "Klaus... He seemed like to be ready in action for anything that might happen. Sensing Taki so vulnerable that he wasn't even able to hold his usual demeanor, makes the blond knight instinctively more protective than usual. He tried to keep calm and composed, but his hands were trembling. Â Silently, he watched Taki reading the letter and trying to stand up. He waited for the soldier to salute and leave before turning to him, listening to the raven's command. Klaus turned around and knelt down one knee and pushed his hands back, inviting him to piggy back him. For just a moment he didn't want to care about appearances, he knew how hard it will be for him to move, and wanted to make thing easier to him. Â There was one time where he offered a piggy back to him, it was during the time where they were in military school.
