khimera Posted January 14, 2013 Share Posted January 14, 2013 Bored. There wasn't any other word for it. The large beast of a demon couldn't find anything to do. Diego growled as he clawed at the armrests of his throne, leaving deeper and deeper gouges in the granite that made up the structure. Even among demons Diego happened to be a large creature, and as such his power commanded him at the very least a small region of land and a castle. Of course, this also meant Diego had plenty to do and unfortunately he'd already done much of what he could do that was entertaining. With a growling sigh the bestial creature slowly stood from his throne and walked slowly down the luxurious hall. Luxurious is a peculiar word in this case, being that much of the hall was decorated with statues of a variety of demons and other relatively gloomy decor. For Diego, this was luxurious, though he was partial to black and gold cloth banners and carpet. These colors were not a mere coincidence, of course, as Diego's skin was colored much the same in black, dark gray, with his underside being gold and yellow. As he walked, each of his footsteps rumbled the immediate area with vibrations, as if a miniaturized earthquake. His tail, long, thick and powerful swayed back and forth to the point it was dangerously close to hitting the statues at either end of the hall even when Diego had gotten to the door. "Wretch!" The demon snarled, startling an imp that had been waiting by the door into looking directly up at his surperior. "Y...yes sire?" He squeaked, terrified of what his lord and master might do to him should he displease the powerful beast. There was a pause before Diego set one of his large clawed hands on the door, though he made no effort to open it. "Tell me there's someone for me to do around here besides sit on my ass and get fat like some aristocratic balor pig?" Diego's question betrayed a tired tone of voice, which managed to surprise the imp. In response the small creature could only stutter for a few moments before composing himself and clearing his throat. "Ahem...er...w-well...we do have those slaves you took from the nearby settlements. Perhaps master could...ah...'ease' his stresses with them?" The imp flashed a smile at his lord, his large ears twitching from being so nervous to the response he would recieve. Instead of speaking to the lower creature, Diego pushed the door open and made his way to the obsidian stairs that led down to the dungeons where he kept a menagerie of sorts. Souls to torture, slaves, creatures he took interest in, all of them came to the unfortunate fate of Diego's dungeon. It was easy to tell when the lord of the castle was coming because of the thundering footsteps down the stairs to the dungeon. Soon the great figure of the demon blocked nearly all the light from the archway into the cell block, imposing and terrifying. Diego's glowing yellow eyes slowly moved from side to side as he stepped through his dungeon, looking for something to catch his eye. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
