I talk on the phone all day at work, I hate coming home and calling every apartment complex in the city as well. And for all low income apartments, I make 1700 dollars more than the max amount. Not enough to really get a normal priced apartment but too much to get a cheap one. Â And my fucking cat and the deposit I have to throw in there. "Oh, you have a cat? THAT WILL BE AN EXTRA 300 DOLLARS." there was one where they wanted 700 just for one cat. I don't... I DON'T UNDERSTAND. I understand its for if the cat destroy something. It does suck pretty bad unless you know someone who can get you a really good deal. You could however smuggle the cat in and be like what cat? Aint no cat here! Â Was thinking about sneaking her in there but I'm not sure. I suppose it makes sense if I save up like you suggest. Then again though I don't feel like I would even have the chance to save up since I am making barely enough for the places I'm looking at. Â But serious... 700 for ONE cat. I don't get it. I've only been hunting for a place to live for like four days and I'm already ready to just take the first one that sounds sorta alright ;_; I've been searching for the most perfect one. I don't see why someone would charge a $700 pet deposit... that's like rent for me! My pet deposit for two cats was $600, but that's for two. $700 for one is just... guh what the heck?! Maybe it was close to downtown? Anywho, it was a bit scary, but she moved out to 181st and lived out there for quite awhile until she moved. And it was closer to work. But yeah she said she had a hard time finding a place that was in a good area and affordable. :/ Â But, one thing: you guys have a cool train station. It was cheaper back then to take the train from my school so I'd go visit her on long weekends, etc. Good times. Anywho, sorry to wax nostalgic!
