Background: Vincent was born with a serious heart condition however he didn't find that out until he was on the floor in gym (he was 15 at the time that it happened). So ever since then his parents put him in the Moonlight Hospital to get treated every few months. Giggly Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Name: Dr. Alexander Mortiarty, altho most call him doc, Alex or Mort Age: 145 vampire years, has the body of a 19 year old human. Description: Taller than average, but not menacingly so. He is almost painfully skinny, and was never the fittest, but by far not the least fit. He usually stands tall, strait-backed. Despite this, his head sometimes hangs. His face is vaguely oval-shaped, but verging on diamond, slightly long and thin, with delicate but angular facial features. His eyes are light blue, and can sometimes seem white/ in certain lights, these eyes are large, almond-shaped, and fringed with dark eyelashes. His hair is long, falling to about shoulder-lenth, and usually tied loosely with a strip of linen. His skin is pale, almost translucent in colour, and, although his appearance is quite distinctive, most people can forget Axel quite easily, since he never did anything worth remembering, unless he finds someone that peaks his interest. He will dress in dark clothing normally but when at work he wears dark green scrubs with a white lab coat. In the warmer weather he tends not to wear the lab coat at work but, his normal clothes tend to be more concealing then that of his winter clothes. Personality: has a fear of being in a crowded place, and a fear of fountain pens, due to their role in his past, which he shan't talk of, no matter how much people will probe into his memories. He was brought up to be polite, and almost 'invisible' to others, as he tends to hang around quietly and not be noticed. - Due to this, he can learn things he was never meant to hear. He can seem childish and innocent, especially for his age. When something troubles him, he would probably keep it silent, and try to smother it with other feelings. Most of the time, his emotions are hard to read, and he has become almost professional at hiding his intentions, though he really cares for his own safety and the safety of his close friends. His views are very important to him, despite the disagreement they are met with by others. Sickness: none, he has perfect health minus the thirst he has for blood. Position: Seme but, he is rather flamboyant and appears much like a uke. Doctor or patient: Doctor Species: Vampire Extra: Even tho Alex is a vampire he refuses to drink blood from someone without their consent. This is why he works in the hospital as it allows him to get blood from the blood bank. Alex was turned when he was 19 years old in Victorian Britain by a vampire that only went by the name of Jack. Jack was murdered by Alex as jack's actions where bring attention to the vampire underground, On his death bed jack told Alex that to lift the curse of being a vampire he must fall in mutual love with someone, these words bounced around in Alex's mind for a long time before he forgot them.. Jack was one of the most famous vampire's and the press called him ' Jack the Ripper'. No body knows what happened to jack but Alex and he has not told anyone what happened to jack, nor does he wont to. After the events with jack he spent his life living in shadows not bringing attention to himself and moving around. He spent most of his time in small place on the out skirts of largely populated cities as this provided enough blood to keep his thirst under control. kittypanda Posted March 3, 2013 Author Share Posted March 3, 2013 It was a quiet ride to the hospital, a beautiful long black haired beauty looked in the back seat of her husbands car with a worried look crossing over her face. Her son was in the back seat with his cousin who was trying to sooth him. The 19 year old boy let out a horrible groan of pain as he held the front of his shirt in a tight grasp. "Vincent baby we will be there soon!" The jet black haired boy groaned even more before he turned his pain filled gray eyes over at his mother, giving her a soft but weak smile. That sight broke her heart! They were out at the movies as a family until Vincent fell out of his seat and hit his head on the back of the seat in front of him. That freaked her out! So she called her husband who was at work to come and drive them to the hospital. The car came to a screeching stop as Vincent's father parked his car in the front of the emergency room, he hopped out of his car and swung his SUV door open wide. He undid his seat belt and hurried out of his side and pulled open the back seat door. "Chris hand Vincent over now!" The blond haired male nodded his head and handed him his cousin and as soon as he had done that his uncle ran inside of the emergency room holding his son in a bridal style. "Somebody please help! My son! He!" He was in a panic that he was speaking way to fast. People in the waiting room looked at him like he was crazy. While others ignored him, his son let out another pain filled groan. Giggly Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Alex was attending to an elderly patient in the triage section of the hospital he was giving her a check up and filling out some paper work. He was thinking about how much he hated his job ' the lack of emergency around here is ridiculous, there's no excitement at all' he thought, suddenly he heard the groans from the boy in the A&E department. He peeked around the blinds to see no one was helping this poor man's child out. He stood up and looked at the patient he was seeing to "excuse me a moment please" he left the room and walked into the A&E department where he approached the man clenching onto his child for dear life. " sir, can you please place your son on the floor" he looked at the man again " SIR!" he said, his voice slightly more demanding then his previous call. " if i can't check his vital sign's i can't help you " the man didn't respond again. " that's it!" he said grabbing the boy form the man and placing him on a bed. He placed his fingers on the boys neck and wrist and checked for his heart rate, at this point a nurse had run over to help him out. alex said to the nurse " I need a ECG, bloods, MRI and chest x-ray " The nurse looked at alex " oh i forgot, your new hear aren't you doctor. His boy has an on going heart condition. here" she said passing the doctor a needle filled with adrenaline. Alex took the needle and inject the boy in the thigh bringing his heart rate back up. Alex looked at the nurse " i'd still like to run a full check up, can you please arrange for a ECG, bloods, MRI and chest x-rays please" he said looking at the nurse. He followed the doctor to the room that he took him and watched him go to work on his son. Just then a pair of gray eyes opened up and the grip on the shirt loosened up. Vincent groaned softly, his chest didn't hurt any more but his head does. He looked around the room from his behind his black square glasses, that was until his light gray eyes landed on the doctor who he just smiled softly at. "Thank for making the pain stop..." He said in low but soft tone of voice before he saw his father standing in the door way with a relieved look on his face. Thank goodness his son was alright now... Giggly Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Alex looked down at the patient and sighed in relief, he smiled slightly when he made eye contact with the patient " hold on i need to remove these " he said placing his hand over the boys face taking off his glasses. He lent close to the boy almost kissing his forehead as he looked at the wound " hmm your going to need stitches " he said looking at the boy. He pulled away and wrote a note down and then made eye contact with him again before looking at the boys father. " i'm sorry for my action earlier sir " he said " but, can i ask you to please fill out this forum, i have also attached a complaint forum if you wish to report my actions which saved your boys life " he said, purposely adding that last part to make the man look over his actions. He looked back down the patient still holding the clipboard with the forums on it out for the father to take and fill in, " im going to need to ask you a few standard questions as well, you feel up to it?" he said softly smiling at the boy on the bed. He then walked out of the room knowing full well that he had to do that in order to fill the forms out. The jet black haired boy looked up at the doctor and slowly nodded his head winching slightly due to it hurting him. "Of course... Ask away Doctor..? Um what's your name?" He asked as a light blush covered his cheeks in a very embarrassed kind of way. He felt bad because he didn't know the doctors name what so ever. "My name's Vincent Aaron Valentine doc... I mean Alex..." He corrected himself at the last minute. He then sighed and rubbed his gray eyes with the palms of his hands, whenever he came here and was injected with the adrenaline he got rather sleepy. "So... I'm guessing your going to see what happened to me right?" He asked in a very tired tone of voice. His father was in the waiting room filling out the forms, he knew his wife and nephew would be here in a few minutes but right now he was focused on filling the paper work out. He then took Vincent's hand and place a small clip on the end of his index finger " this is going to monitor your vitals without me needing to touch you" Alex blush and turned away from Vincent, what he just said was so unprofessional and it also sounded rather sexual in his mind. Did the doctor just say something sexual to him? He then kept rubbing his eyes in a tired kind of way. "I do feel very tired.... And I'm trying to..." He mumbled into his hands as they now rested on his face. He had a small frown on his face, his blush was still on his face, he couldn't get over what the doctor had said to him. He lent over Vincent smiling softly at him " can you sit up please " he said gently guiding Vincent body and arms upwards. he then reached over to the machine, he pullout earlier, and pull the draw open. kittypanda Posted March 6, 2013 Author Share Posted March 6, 2013 Vincent's face heated up even more as he felt the older male help him sit up and when he asked him to take his shirt off but he knew the medical procedure so he did as he was told. He took off his black hooded sleeveless shirt off and blushed even more as he had to expose his thin form to the doctor. To him this felt more sexual then what was suppose to happen, but he pushed that thought aside and placed his shirt next to him. Out in the waiting room his father walked up to the nurse at the desk and placed the clip board down on the counter top. But as soon as he he done that his wife and nephew came running into the emergency room. His wife ran up to him and hugged him tightly. "Where is our baby Andrew?" Andrew pulled away from his frantic wife slightly and gave her a soft smile. "He's in with the doctor right now... So he'll be fine..." Giggly Posted March 6, 2013 Share Posted March 6, 2013 Alex watched Vincent remove his top and he smiled softly at the boy, he then took the boy's top and placed it on the chair next to the bed " don't worry this is normal " Alex smiled at Vincent before placing both of his hands on Vincent shoulders gently pushing him back down on the bed. " you don't need to be embarrassed, your figure is rather appealing" he said smiling softly at Vincent before pulling on of the tags off the paper " this will be cold " placing the tag on Vincent's chest. Alex then blushed a deep red, ' did i just say that? omg why am i being so unprofessional around this kid. ' he thought to himself still looking at Vincent. " im... im sorry. Okay now that was sexual! The young jet black haired boy thought to himself but shivered slightly when he felt the cold tags get placed on his chest. " this will monitor your blood flow okay?" he said before pulling another clip from the machine " and this will monitor your heart rate, can i have you hand please" he said holding his hand out for Vincent to give him his own. For some reason the doctor's hands were ice cold, he wondered if it was from the cold hospital but shrugged it off as nothing for the time being. He frowned slightly and wondered if his parents would be allowed to come back here and see him while this was going on but he knew that the probably were not. He pulled out a pen and a note pad and start to note down the Vincents vitals. "okay, good, you vitals are normal and your blood flow has restored however, you are going to need stitches in the cut on your forehead and we are going to need you to stay in over night. " he said looking at Vincent with a smile on his face " i need to take some bloods which means i need place catheter in your arm okay" he pulled out a small packet with a catheter needle inside it and he also pulled out a small blood tube. " nice and relaxed okay " he said as he slide the strap up Vincents arm and tied it off "how are you with needles?" he said and he interlocked his fingers with Vincents.
