I woke up beside my beloved, his body is amazing, I want him forever mine. I touched Rei's cheeks and kissed his forehead, surely I am now different than before. I haven't eaten any human that isn't served in the table for days. With all my thoughts I sit up and yawned a bit, sliding my fingers through Rei's body, Ihope I won't tickle him.

 

I decided to go to the coven to end my promise and cut bonds with them. To that I bring with me my pledge to take care of Rei.

I awoke later that evening to find myself alone in the bed. No one dared to disturb me while I slept. I could not even find an note in Alroi's writting. I got dressed and began looking for him in his mansion and asking around. I began worring where in this whole earth my Alroi went. I nerviously kept myself busy by trying to be friendly with the servants and humans that were my meals as I saw them, as I was drinking bags of blood.

Morning is about to come, midnight's losing grounds and I'm creating chaos in the coven. 'Rei, My Rei... This is for you..' throwing down bunch of dead humans I've collected before coming. Scattering blood in the air, I could see my fellow vampires who are trained not to drink blood like monsters, the ones who are used to getting food by the plate, unlike me, I'm a full-blooded vampire and I should've started my own coven hundreds of years ago. And so now, as the dead humans with bloody body fell down from the roof some of the vampires showed their true colors, suddenly rushing and biting the dead humans. As with me, I stayed up the roof, and started talking..

 

"Yes.... This is all for you, my dear friends... Drink! Drink from them!!"

 

The leader widened his eyes over me, under his hood pretending to be priestly. He pointed at me with such scared eyes, and the others started attacking me. Iknow I can never talk to him properly saying I'll leave the coven with Rei. I kicked the roof and the rocks started falling, just a few, covering them giving me time to fly off..

 

I have to hurry, Rei is waiting, and the sun is beginning to rise, I can't stay much longer..

 

'My Rei, I'm coming home..'

Rei was waiting on the patio outside the main bedroom that he and Alroi shared. He was staring off into the distance, waiting for any sign of Alroi’s return. He was wearing a hooded robe to protect him from the sun rise. He only came into the room due to a knock on the door; he had a visitor. It was a coven friend of his, one that had flown away before Alroi. He quickly told Rei to join him in another room, privately to tell him the news about Alroi.

 

Once his coven brother told him the news, he told him to escape before Alroi came back. He came storming back to the room with the patio; he saw Alroi land on it. He went walking up to him, his feet hitting the ground hard and an angry glare in his eyes.

I was a bit surprised seeing one of the coven member in my place, and to that with a seemingly angry face of his, irritating. As I land my feet my eyes started to glare, 'he shouldn't be here' I thought.

 

"I am not expecting any visitors today, nor did you tell me you will have one, My Rei." and my sight turned to Rei's face. Walking towards the unexpected one, I continued my words "And what have you to do here? Shouldn't you be back at the coven, eating your supper?" A little smile gave way to be seen, but in my eyes my glare is irreplaceable, he must've said something to Rei.

He tried to get in between the coven member and Alroi. "It was an unexpected visit, Alroi." The coven member trembled in fear behind Rei. He noticed the twisted look in his lover's face. "Just let him leave." He said to him. The coven member regained his composer and spoke, "I guess I should. If you would excuse me. I'll be leaving now."

I glared towards Rei protecting the member. What irritated me more is when the other one spoke.

I took a step and not even before a second came to the other's front, holding his neck as I say "I never asked for your opinion". Because I was angry that someone spoiled my doings to Rei I cannot help myself but want to kill this guy. Gripping more I forgot about Rei being on the side and became a monster just right infront of him. The coven member started to squeal reaching his breath for a living as I bit him deep mercilessly.

Rei gasped in shock and sat down on the bed, looking away from Alroi's feeding. He closed his eyes tight and covered his ears. He did his best to ignore the sounds of struggle coming out of the coven member. He felt sick, from the smell of immortal blood being drained.

Alroi never felt regret, nor he is sincere when he say his apologies, only to Rei he wanted to adjust, but he'll always be who he really is, the monster that even his own kind is afraid of.

 

Alroi took a glimpse of Rei, blurred eyes he can't understand much of what he see. He stood up with the other's blood flowing out his mouth, he licked and grinned. Having the thoughts of Rei would never forgive him, he felt unsure of their love, or is it really love.

 

Even before Rei opened his eyes, Alroi took a step backwards facing Rei. He cannot control himself, the plan of having their own coven wouldn't be much a success if he's like this.

 

He left.

 

The scent left by Alroi is a scent one would never forget, the blood, like a metal on fire. Rei was left alone in his palace, Alroi left without a word.
