[Guest Kotorichan]

Ceries smiled slightly at the man's agreement. "Thank you Vaughn...' he noticed the man looking at the door. "Ah... Perhaps you should lock it..." He said softly. "I don't think anyone will come in, but it's better to be safe right...?"

Vaughn looked to the Prince then hesitated before getting up to lock it. He glanced back and smiled shyly. No sex. He didn’t want sex. But he’d gladly hold Ceries all night.

 

Returning he stroked his cheek. “You’re a sweety.” He offered.

Ceries held out his arms for the man as he returned. He was too tired for sex but he wanted to be comforted. He nuzzled into his neck and allowed himself to relax. "Thank you Vaughn..." He murmured.

Vaughn shook his head. “In this you really don’t need to apologise.” He smiled, pulling him close as he cuddled in. “You’re too precious. You deserve pampering.”

 

He looked over at his uneaten food but made no move. He’d survive. He’d have to make up the calories tomorrow.

 

“Sleep.” I’ve got you.

Brenton showered and crawled into bed. Was he imagining it? Or was it like Ceries had two sides? One that wanted everything Brenton was and had to offer and one that didn’t?

 

How curious.

Maybe he could find a way to torture both sides!

 

He couldn’t help but smirk. Curling up to go to sleep. He’d had a very, very long day!

Ceries blushed softly and smiled up at the man. "I love you Vaughn..." He murmured.

He closed his eyes and allowed his body to fully relax. Within a few moments he was fast asleep.

He clung to Vaughn all night long, occasionally whimpering fearfully in his sleep but never fully waking.

Vaughn held him. Nuzzling him gently.

 

His sleep was broken. Each noise had him reacting or overthinking. He was concerned that Vaughn was injured or hurting or having nightmares.

 

He woke the next day feeling rather exhausted. But he remained still. Blue eyes watching the Prince sleep.

Ceries awoke the next morning and snuggled into Vaughn's chest, yawning softly. He looked up at the man and smiled slightly. "Good morning..." It was so wonderful to wake up next to the guard. He leaned up and caught his lips in a gentle kiss.

Vaughn smiled at him. “Morning.” The kiss was sweet and tender.

 

He touched his forehead to check his temperature and hummed softly. “Cooler. That’s good. How are you feeling today? Any better?”

 

He was quiet a moment then offered, “we should go see the doctor. Yeah? See what magic is upon you? Check out your fever too?”

"I'm feeling a bit better... My body is sore but that isn't a surprise..." Ceries leaned against his chest, frowning slightly at the suggestion. He was a bit scared of being checked for any magic... What if there wasn't any magic..? Then how could he explain what was happening?

"What if it's a kind of magic that no one has ever seen before..?" He asked softly. "Because he's from another world..."

Vaughn considered that. “Would your old magic tutor be able to help with that? He’ll have to monitor Brenton’s magic? So he’d be able to tell if it’s different? Right?” Vaughn was no magic expert. He was only guessing.

 

Still, he had to wonder if it was magic causing it or Ceries mind!? “What if it’s turns out to be something else?” He tried, trying the gauge the princes reaction.

"Prince Advyk may be able to help..." Ceries said with a slight frown. "I will ask him to look out of anything that could be a new magic."

He grew tense at the next suggestion. "W-what else would it be? It isn't me, I know that isn't me..." He tried to keep the panic out of his voice. He didn't know what else could be causing him to act like this. If it wasn't magic then Vaughn might think he was lying, that he really did like Brenton in some way. "I would rather never feel any kind of pleasure again than spent another moment with him." He clung to Vaughn's chest. "I'm only allowing this to continue because we need his strength, as soon as we're safe I'm going to follow through with... Our plan..." He looked up at Vaughn, his eyes set in angry determination. "I hate him more than anything, I hate what he does to us."

Vaughn frowned, “I’m not saying there’s something wrong with you...” he should have kept it to himself!

 

He nodded, holding him close. “Our plan.” They’d have to try something? Right? He knew Ceries needed some hope at least.

Ceries blinked back tears. "I-I don't want this... I don't want you to ever think I want this or that I'm happy with this..." He took a shaky breath. "I-if it isn't magic... You'll think I'm e-enjoying it..."

Vaughn did think that the other liked it a little, at times at least. But Vaughn could see that the other didn’t want it in this moment. That he was against it....

 

“We’ll figure this out. Together. Okay?” He smiled softly. “Don’t worry or think about it. I know you don’t want it. I know that you’re only doing it for the kingdom. Okay?” Vaughn kissed his cheek.

Ceries nuzzled him, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. "Thank you... As long as you know that I think I'll be okay..." He forced a smile and slowly pulled away. "I suppose I should get dressed and head to breakfast... I can't spend another whole day in bed with you." He blushed softly and looked away. "As nice as that sounds..."

Vaughn chuckled. He felt the need to just be gentle and soft to him.

 

“True. I need to attend to the recruits and train. I’ll get fat and lazy if I don’t.” He grinned. “You won’t want me if I’m fat.” The guard winked.

 

“Maybe another time.” He promised.

[Guest Kotorichan]

Ceries smiled and cooed softly. "I'll want you no matter what you look like Vaughn..." He promised, leaning up to catch another kiss. "Although I suppose you should make sure to keep yourself in shape, I can't imagine you would be happy if you became unable to protect me." He nuzzled the man. "And I wouldn't want to have anyone else by my side..."

He pulled away again and grabbed his brush. "Would you like to pick my clothes for me? I need to brush my hair."

Vaughn smiled at that. “Good to know. But you’re right. I want to protect you. I won’t be happy if I can’t do that.” He said honestly. He meant it too!

 

“Of course I can.” He smiled and climbed out of the bed before finding something pretty for Ceries to wear. “Is there anything in particular you want for dinner? I can ask them to prepare it while you have dinner.” He offered gently.

Ceries began to brush out his hair. "I don't know... I would like some fish but I don't want the kitchen staff to have to make two different meals." He sighed. He didn't want Brenton to complain about the food again, especially when Ceries knew he had already more than earned a punishment.

He finished brushing his hair and began to groom his wings.

“If you want fish then you get the fish.” He hummed gently.

 

Vaughn didn’t want him to second guess or suffer because he was thinking of the bastard. “He’ll have to get used to it.... you are the Prince. Outside of his room you make the decisions and are powerful. Don’t forget that.”

[Guest Kotorichan]

"I know that... But if I don't keep him happy outside of the bedroom then he may be more cruel in the bedroom..." Ceries frowned. "If he's in a good mood then he might not try to go out of his way to hurt us so much."

It was an interesting plan but would it actually work? He wasn’t sure....?

 

“We can only try. Hopefully when the power tutor arrives he’ll be too busy and exhausted to do much.” Vaughn could only hope. “Which room shall you have prepared for the other Prince?”

[Guest Kotorichan]

"At the very least I hope that it will not make things worse..." Ceries sighed. "I was going to give him the guest room at the end of the hall... It is the farthest from... His room... So I hope Prince Advyk will not hear anything. That room also has a larger bathtub than the other guest rooms so it will not seem strange for me to give him that room..."

He finished grooming his wings and rose to his feet, wincing slightly. "I... I expect he will notice something is off... He has always been quite good at reading me... I only hope he does not get involved."

“What will you do if he tries to get involved?” Vaughn knew Ceries didn’t like him getting involved after all.

 

“He’s your friends though.” He frowned, “he might just think you’ve got a crush on Brenton, or someone? I don’t know.”

 

Vaughn offered the clothing to him. “Your hair looks nice today.”
