Guest syaoran-puu
Vantus looked over at Yu as he swam closer, he didn’t move or pull away, he didn’t feel threatened by Yu after last night. “Repeatedly...” he frowned, watching him as Yu used magic and showed him a picture of the man who attacked him. He pulled a face and crossed his arms almost as if to protect himself. Memories of their encounter whispered through his mind. He really would be dead without Yu.... “I’m lucky you saved me.” He wouldn’t forget that. He knew the other couldn’t make any promises about his safety.... he just hoped that he could stay safe. He liked his home. He liked this mountain. He didn’t want to consider moving! Running away from a hunter.... maybe he should contact his family? Vantus frowned a little, “should be fine.” He agreed. Trying to be hopeful. “I can go hunting. It wouldn’t take me long.” Though he was a little concerned about being in his dragon form right now. He was probably just being silly.... right? He spotted the man moving closer but didn’t react. “What kind of pie do you like?” Vantus reaches, brushing a bit of Yu’s hair behind his ear without thinking. Guest l?ngt borta sp?ke
Yu's breath caught in his throat when he felt the dragons slender fingers on his ear, he felt his entire face ignite into multiple shades redder than it should have been from just the heat in the hot spring. He didn't respond to the others question immediately, he found his gaze locked on Vantus's face. His features were soft, but regal, he looked like he could just as easily be a prince in some kingdom as a lonely dragon in a mountain. He had to plant his feet to keep himself from turning away from the other, there was a beauty and power in his face that almost made Yu feel wrong for looking so closely at it. Clearly his throat, he chose to blame the heat from the hot spring as to why he just found himself so lost in the others features. It took him another moment to recollect himself before thinking about the answer. "I think wild boar is pretty good in a pie, they aren't always the easiest to find though. So if not you can bring back whatever your favorite meat is and we can see what we can do with it." It seemed rather odd that he was sitting in a hot spring, carved out by a dragon, with that same dragon, planning which best pie to prepare for dinner. Though it was an oddity he was finding himself increasing more comfortable with. "
Guest syaoran-puu
“Boar?” He smiled and dropped his hand, trying to recall the last time he’d seen one. Vantus was slightly oblivious to most of Yu’s reaction or reasons, except; “If you’re getting too hot, you might want to get out. I’d hate for you to faint...” he offered gently. The man seemed a little zoned out. Deep in thought perhaps? Possibly something to do with meal? Or maybe their shopping trip yesterday? Vantus didn’t move from his current position, “I know I can find at least a few rabbits. Maybe even a deer.” He shrugged. “There’s two of us, but I don’t want to bring too much meat home and it go to waste.” So close, he was aware of the way Yu’s chest rose as he breathed, the soft sheen of sweat on his brow, his pretty features.... he blinked and shook his head. “How good are you at making pastry?”
Guest l?ngt borta sp?ke
Yu raised his his hand and waved at his face to encourage cool air and shook his head. "I'm fine, it's just a little warm." He mused before sinking a bit further into the water to wet his hair before running his fingers threw it to clean the dirt from the tumble the day before off. "I'm not a great cook, but pastry is something I can do. Do you want me to make the crust dough while your hunting then? Maybe I can add some things to the place while you are gone too, I still think some decorations at least might do it some good.Maybe even some paintings if you feel up to it." He figured there was plenty of time in the day to do both and still get to work on the lair entrance. "Oh, and if you bring back to much meat we can always preserve some. I can show you how. Now that I think about it, since your a dragon how much do you need to it?" The mage figured that at this point he'd been patient enough with most of his intrusive questions. Guest syaoran-puu
“Okay,” Vantus nodded gently. “There’s clean water for you to drink. It’s in the big bottle in the kitchen area.” The dragon offered politely. “Add decorations?” He pouted a little, “what exactly do you have in mind? What kind of paintings?” Vantus was a little uncertain about letting the man loose to do as he pleased with his interior. “Maybe? If it’s nothing too dramatic or different?” “How much do I eat?” He smiled, “my body is efficient, it would survive me not eating for nearly two weeks.... or years if I hibernated in the deep sleep. But it’s most happy with the equivalent of a deer in meat a day.” He offered, “I definitely didn’t eat that much yesterday. My human forms don’t tend to feel the need to eat as much. Smaller stomachs. But shifting between forms uses a little energy. It’s important to stay well fed.”
Guest l?ngt borta sp?ke
The mage couldn't imagine not eating for more than three days, so two weeks was unfathomable to him. No wonder Vantus didn't like to keep much food on hand. Thinking about it now at the mention of clean water he realized he hadn't had anything to drink other than beer and tea since this ordeal began. Making his way to entrance of the hot spring, he motioned towards his clothes and they rose from the ground and floated towards him. He quickly climbed out of the spring and dressed before patting the dirt from his clothes and racking a hand through his hair to shake the water out. "So you like things simple? Alright, I won't change to much, just add a few things here and there. Trust me, I think you'll like it. If not I can always zip everything down right?" Yu nodded politely towards the other before turning to make his way out of the tunnel. "I'm going to grab a drink then, do you think you have some clean clothes or something I can use?" He glanced behind him towards the dragon for the final question.
Guest syaoran-puu
“Uncomplicated is nice, yes.” Vantus said with a smile. He watched the other get up. Magicking his clothing to him. Vantus wondered what it would be like to have such magic? Yu made it look easy, effortless really, and impressive! He was hopeful the shield spell would go well! Yu would know how to do it! “Okay. I will trust you.” He said simply. Vantus didn’t trust easily, but as long as it could be removed if he hated it... what was the harm? “Clothing?” He looked up and down the man’s body. “I produce my own using dragon cloaking magic.... but I think I might have some in the store room. I’ll look.” He offered gently. He washed efficiently and climbed out of the water. He was oblivious to his own nudity, it wasn’t something he had to think of around his home, and headed towards the store room. His bubble butt wiggling playfully as he stepped. Vantus searched until he found a few emergency garments his parents had insisted he bring... just in case he was injured and couldn’t cloak himself properly... or something?! He took them back to the main chamber. “Here you go, Yu. Will these do? You seem pretty much the same height as me.” The garments were luscious red, gems and elaborate gold threaded stitching finishing it off. They screamed expensive. “I hope they’re okay. Maybe we’ll have to consider getting you something else? Or you could go home and bring a bag back with you?” He offered.
