Horus quirked a brow, He doesn’t seem as cocky now. Shy even. How strange. “Of course, Young Master. I’ll have it brought up to your room immediately.”

 

He blinked and smirked. “You have big shoes to fill, Young Master. But I can help you with navigating it. She’s just new and skittish, please heed her no mind. Or I can fire her if you prefer?”

"I'm just tired..." Veryn muttered in response to the man's thoughts.

"Thanks." He sighed. "Yeah... I've heard a bit about him..." His eyes widened at the suggestion. "What? No, of course not. Why would I want that?" He shook his head. "No, I was just surprised."

Horus swallowed as his thoughts were read. Shit. Need to be more careful. But it’s hard not being free to think what I want. He frowned in his mind.

 

On the outside he was a perfect picture. “As you wish, Young Master. Is there anything else I can do for you?”

Veryn sighed at the man's thoughts, he really needed to learn to turn this off.

"Yeah, could you warn the other staff that I'm still figuring out how to turn off the whole mind-reading thing?" He asked. "So I'm going to know what they're thinking even if I don't want to."

Horus nodded. “Of course, Young Master.” Do you require a tutor? I’m sure I can a contact that could help you.” He offered a little too slyly, his thoughts whispering the truth; Then I can keep an eye on you. Switching off the internal monologue was hard!

 

Horus stood, waiting to be dismissed.

"No thanks..." Veryn's eyes narrowed, his tail twitching slightly. "You know it's starting to seem like Sebastian isn't the one I should worry about trying to manipulate me..."

"That's all I need." He turned away and headed back up to his room.

Horus blinked, watching the tail a moment. Only to frown, Shit. My apologies for my inappropriate thoughts. Allow me to explain? I only wish to ensure you are not hindered by the thing.” The bastard cant be trusted. “He has ways of making things seem better than they really are.” He frowned, Plus, he rejected me and I’ll never forgive him. Horus wasn’t intending to tell Veryn that last part.

 

Horus nodded and delivered his messages.

 

Sebastian was awake, but barely. He had a lazy sort of smile on his face. Maybe... maybe I could get used to this? Veryn hasn’t tried to hurt me so far..... I just wish trusting wasn’t so hard. Hearing footsteps he looked to the door. Is he back? I wonder what the fetish thing he talked about would actually be like.... is it even possible?

Veryn resisted the urge to turn around and continue arguing, he would deal with him later. He was tired from the long day.

He paused at the door at the sound of Sebastian's thoughts. It felt like he had much more range with the man. He opened the door and stepped inside, smiling at the sight of the man. "Still awake?" He asked softly. He slipped off his shirt and climbed into bed, pulling Sebastian into his arms.

“Yeah.” He smiled. I was waiting for you. He hadn’t intended Veryn to know.

 

Sebastian gladly let himself be pulled closer, snuggling against his chest a moment. “Any problems? Not as bad as you thought? Right?” Horus better have been nice to you, or I might just have to go kick his arse. After sleep. Not in any state right now.

Veryn sighed, lightly playing with the man's hair. "I'm definitely firing that guy... He's already trying to manipulate me, he keeps thinking about how he wants to get rid of you... And he's mad that he doesn't get to fuck you..." His tail began to twitch. "I don't want him around."

Sebastian blinked only to frown, “manipulate you how?”

 

He snorted, “he cornered me once. Even if I had wanted to there’s no way I was going to disobey your father. Only he could have me.” He shook his head, Horus had wanted it to be a secret, but it wouldn’t stay that way.... and in truth? I didn’t exactly want sex with anyone. It was just something forced upon me. He thought, remembering it all. I guess he’s never forgiven me turning him down. Even after he told the Master I’d tried to corner him and proposition him.... I’d been punished so bad I couldn’t move my body for about a week. He closed his eyes, trying to block out the memory. “I won’t stop you trying to fire him.”

 

In his current mindset the tail twitching made him flinch. Imagined of his fathers angry face coming to mind.

 

“I’m sorry I’ve made this more difficult for you, Master.”

"He wanted to hire a tutor and was thinking about how it would let him 'keep an eye' on me... It felt like he wants to have a tutor for me who will teach me to act in a way that benifits him." He hugged Sebastian a bit tighter, his tail lashing. "What a bastard..."

He hated the thoughts that came streaming into his mind, he did his best to tune them out.

He realized that his tail was upsetting the man and quickly readjusted himself so he was sitting on top of the tail.

"I'm sorry... I'm not angry with you." He lifted Sebastian's chin to look up at him. "You haven't done anything to make things more difficult for me. Even if he was perfectly nice to you I wouldn't like him for trying to control me." He leaned in and gently kissed the man.

“Oh?” Who would Horus call I wonder? “I have put things in place, but if anything I do doesn’t fit we can try someone else.” I just want him to have the best and to learn fast. It will be safer for him that way.

 

“Sorry.” He blushed. “I know you’re not him. I know you’re not likely to react like he did.... it’s just... hard to forget.” Its only been a few months since he died. And this room. It’s hard to forget.

 

Sebastian nodded, “I can understand that. No one likes being manipulated.” I should admit it. “I had thought to manipulate you.... I... I thought maybe if I offered you my body you’d come with me at least. Maybe even stay.” Maybe I’m just as bad as Horus.

[Guest Kotorichan]

"I know... I don't expect you to forget about him overnight..." Veryn pulled the man into his lap, kissing his neck lightly. "And we'll move to another room soon."

He couldn't help but chuckle softly at the confession. "I had a feeling that was the case..." He pulled back to look down at the man, touching his cheek gently. "You're not the same as him. You wanted me to come here but you're not trying to shape into a Lord that will be your pawn." He gently kissed the man. "You're just trying to help me stay safe."

Sebastian chuckled. “Starting to think I should just blurt my thoughts out loud. You hear them anyway.” He winked. Not mad at him for not having control yet.

 

We’ll move.... we’ll.... why does they make me feel happy? I have no right to feel happy about that.... do I? I’m going strange.

 

He grunted but nodded, shifting to his lap and leaning down when prompted for a kiss.

 

“Then clearly I have you fooled,” he winked, only teasing him. Sebastian stroked down his chest. “What colours do you like?” I feel like he’s going to say blue....

"Sorry... I'm trying to get better..." Veryn chuckled. "I feel like it's going to be a nightmare to be around multiple people at once..."

He pretended not to notice the man's thoughts, although it made him happy to feel like the man was starting to relax around him.

"Oh? Maybe you're just too beautiful and I'm ignoring all the thoughts you're having about wanting to control me" he teased, leaning in to nuzzle the man's next. "Mm... I do like blue." He admitted. "But I think purple is actually my favorite.... What about you?"

“You don’t need to apologise.” Seb promised, “I’d be suspicious if you could control it perfectly.” He teased.

 

“You’ll have to try finding a focal point maybe? One voice to focus on among the din?” Sebastian really didn’t know but he couldn’t imagine it was fun!

 

He laughed at that, I’m more than just beautiful. “Maybe so. Seems I’ve got you right where I want you right now.” He teased with a wink.

 

“Purple.” He tried to imagine it, then nodded, it suits him. He blinked at being asked in return. “Oh? Eh....” No one has ever asked me that before. He thought about it, giving it more serious thought than was probably necessary for a silly question. “I like red.” I think.

"I'll probably just focus on you then." Veryn chuckled. "So be ready for that."

"I guess you do." He stole another kiss. "I'll just have to keep fucking you until you feel so good you lose your mind."

"Red is nice." He smiled. "Then we'll decorate our new room with purple and red."

“I think I can handle that.” He offered softly. “I can try to get used to it and prompt you in your mind. Names and stuff? I mean.... if you want?” Sebastian offered.

 

He stroked the others chest a moment. Smirk in place. “You really are insatiable.... good job I don’t mind.” Though I’m properly too tired to go another round now, would it be so terrible to let him fuck me to unconsciousness? Seb didn’t think so.

 

Our? “You want me to stay..... I mean.... you’re not....” he shut up, words escaping him. Our? Is he really serious about us being lovers then? About seeing me as an equal? Even if his reputation might take a hit because of me?

"That would be great.. I wonder..." Veryn frowned slightly and tried to focus. Can I make you hear my thoughts? he tried to think it at the man, although he had no idea how well it would work.

"I'm probably too tired too." He chuckled. "It's been a long day."

He smiled at the man's reaction. "Yup, I was being serious." He nuzzled him gently. "I don't care about my reputation. If you want to have your own room so you can have some space to yourself then that's fine, but I'd like to share a room with you."

Sebastian nodded, at least he’d be useful. There was no reaction from Seb until the word ‘thought’, “are you... trying to make me hear you too?” Not words yet. More like.... like a knock on the door? I felt something though. he offered. “Maybe you just need to practise?” Oh gods! What if he figures it out then starts saying sexy things to me just to make me squirm! The world is going to think I’ve gone crazy! Yet.... he predicted he’d.... enjoy it.

 

He blushed and nodded. “Good. Maybe I’ve finally tired you out.” He grinned, winking at Veryn.

 

“I...” Maybe my own room? Just in case he.... changes his mind? “....I don’t know.” He blushed. “But you can read my thoughts so.... maybe both?”

"Yeah... It might be helpful if we could communicate in front of other people without needing to say anything outloud." Veryn explained. "I'll keep practicing." He smirked at Sebastian's next thoughts. "I hadn't thought of that... I'll have to work extra hard."

"I think all the traveling is what tired me out, if it wasn't for that I'd be able to keep going." He warned.

"Okay, if you ever need a break then your own room would be good for that too..." Veryn smiled. "And if I get carried away and buy you a ton of stuff we'll have somewhere to put all of it." He teased.

“Did I just give you more ammunition to torture me with?” He chuckled. “I’m going to have to learn not to react to your sexy words!” Sebastian doubted that was actually possible!

 

“Okay....” I’m going to have to work harder to match him then. Maybe he could research increasing stamina later? “I wasn’t stopping you going again.” He winked.

 

Sebastian nodded. The idea of a break or days off was so alien a concept to him. He’d basically been on twenty four hour alert for over a hundred years..... Veryn was an enigma.

 

“No!” He laughed. “You’re not spoiling me! Spoil yourself!” Don’t waste your money on me.

"I'll have to use them sparingly then." Veryn grinned and nuzzled his neck.

"I think I should try to avoid having Horus walk in on us twice... As much as I like the idea of having you pass out from being fuckes so hard." He kissed his forehead.

"It's not a waste!" Veryn insisted. "I can spoil both us if that makes you feel better about it."

Sebastian rolled his eyes, “you’re enjoying my admittance far to much.” He pokes his chest. He hoped he was doing this right, he’d never really played with anyone before... he was just... letting loose a little.

 

“He might have a heartache. Which would definitely be funny!” Seb grinned. “But okay, I’m not complaining.” He kissed his nose then slipped from his knee to lie beside him. Still only wearing a shirt. It had rose up a little, not covering anything below the waistline.

 

“What do you mean by spoil?” What exactly is he thinking about buying? I only really wear and need clothing.... that’s all I’ve ever had before.....
