Veryn stayed quiet, lightly stroking his hair as he let the man calm down. He did his best to cut off his connection to Sebastian's mind, trying to give the man some privacy.

He frowned at the sound of Sebastian's voice. He didn't like that it didn't seem like there was much he could do for the man.

"Sebastian..." He cupped the man's face in his hands, lifting his face to look at him. "I love you." His cheeks flushed softly at his own confession, he didn't expect the man to feel the same... But he felt like he needed to say it. "I mean it." He did his best to let the man feel his sincerity through his mind, although he wasn't sure how well that would work.

Sebastian blinked, looking up at him with wide, unexpected eyes. “You... you love me?” His heart clenched. He loves me? But how can he love me? How can anyone love me? The Solent tears started to roll down his face again and he wiped them away roughly.

He sat on the edge of the tub and turned on the water. He lightly kissed his forehead. "Just try to relax for now..."

Veryn smiled at the thought, glad that Sebastian wasn't interested in leaving him. He kissed the man's forehead. "You can call me Veryn when we're in private, remember?"

He waited until the tub was filled before removing their remaining clothes and climbing into water, keeping Sebastian on his lap. "If Horus gives you any trouble make sure you tell me, okay?"

“I know. But.... I like calling you Master. But I’ll call you Veryn if you prefer.” He offered. Smile a little shaky.

 

He snorted. “Don’t worry yourself about him. He’s all talk. He won’t harm me or anything.” Sebastian was pulled into the tub and couldn’t help but remember Veryn’s threat to prove to Horus that even if he did fuck him he could never satisfy him. He slowly relaxed, pressing lightly against him. “Did you enjoy sleeping still inside me?” Seb asked, needing a new topic to think about.

"You can call me master if that what you prefer." Veryn said, kissing his cheek. "Just call me whatever you feel comfortable with."

"Good, but even if he's just saying things that are upsetting I want you to tell me." He gave the man a light squeeze before grabbing the shampoo and starting to wash Sebastian's hair.

He blushed softly at the question. "I did... It felt good..." He lightly massaged the man's scalp. "What did you think?"

Veryn smiled and kissed him lightly. "If you're ever not in the mood then we don't have to..." He murmured, he didn't want Sebastian to feel like he had to do any of this.

He began to gently wash Sebastian's body, trying not to touch him in a way that would be arousing. He felt like it might be upsetting to do anything sexual right now.

"I think Hotel would be perfect. It might come up in regular conversation but I don't think it'll come up when we're having sex." He explained. Sebastian looked up at him, smiling a little before looking down at the water again. “I know. You said. I really will try to think about it... use it.” He promised. “If I don’t use it though. That doesn’t mean I’m afraid to.... or needed to and didn’t....” Seb offered.

 

“I wonder if they went all out for breakfast.” Maybe not since Horus knows you’re shared with me.

"If I have to fire someone I will... But I'm not going to do it just to make myself look tough. I'll figure out a way to look tough without that." He kissed Sebastian's neck. "But it's good to know that they'll have somewhere else to go."

“I know. I’m not saying you have to. But it’s an option. Okay?” He smiled softly. Leaning forward and nuzzling him.

 

“Nearly ready to face them?” He asked.
