"I guess I should call and officially leave my old job..." He sighed. "And send someone to get the rest of my stuff... I don't know how much of it I'll be keeping though."

Sebastian beamed up at him and chuckled. “You’ve changed a lot in only a few days.” He praised.

"I don't know... I think I'll need a bit more time here before I can handle it here alone..." He sighed. "Besides, there's some stuff that might look like trash but has sentimental value... It'd probably be best to just have everything brought here and I'll go through it myself."

“I see. Yes. Just have some people pack everything then. You can put it in a room here and work through it when you have a moment.” Seb offered gently. “What kind of things are you talking about.... if you don’t mind me asking? You do not need to answer, Master.”

 

He smiled softly at him. He should put it on display or somewhere safe in the bedroom if appropriate. Maybe it will help him to feel like he’s not losing himself?

"I don't feel much more confident." Veryn sighed. "I'm just trying to do my best to fake it so I don't get 'eaten up' like you said I might."

 

"I have a couple things that were gifts from people at the orphanage... And a few things that belonged to my mom..." He lightly toyed with Sebastian's hair. "I'm not very good with people so there are a lot of people that were important to me but I just sorta lost contact with..."

“I see....” he frowned. “If it helps, I haven’t noticed.” Sebastian offered softly. “Or maybe you’re just confident with me so I don’t notice the rest?” He chuckle.

 

Seb smiled at that. “Sounds sweet. Would you consider attempting to get back in touch with them again?”

"I do feel more confident when you're around." Veryn nuzzled him. "Maybe it's just because I want to impress you." He chuckled softly.

 

"I don't know..." He sighed. "It's been so long I'd feel a bit strange about reaching out. They probably don't remember me anyway. I've never been a paticularly memorable person."
