"I think the day after tomorrow I'm free. I'll have to check with my manager to be sure. Sometime they change the program on the last minute" he said waving the taxi that appeared a little lost.

 

Opening the door getting on the back sit, waiting for the other to get in.

 

He gave the instructions to the driver which stop went first.

 

"I'll drop you at the clinic first and then I go home" he said putting his backpack in their laps, sneaking his hand on Leo's hand, keeping a devilish smile.

“Okay. The walk in clinic is open 6 till 6 so we can go wherever.” Leo offered. He preferred going early and getting it over with!

 

He slid in the back too, taking out his wallet and offering a ?5 note to the other. “Here. My contribution.” They weren’t dating. This was best.

 

Then the other man took his hand. He blinked and looked down before up at Blake. He blushed slightly and looked away to the side window but without pulling away.

Having the backpack in their laps, the driver couldn't see what was going on as they were in the back of his sit.

The driver took Blake to his house. Before getting in the house he texted Mike \Cannot meet up. If you want , come to my house before i leave for work\.

"Rough night?" he asked placing the cup in front of the other as he sat at the table with his.

"Please tell me you had a talk before" he added looking at Mike.

“I wish....” he grinned. “Won’t lie, tried to shag him but I just... couldn’t. We ended up arguing. He slapped me. Stormed off. Now suddenly I’m the bad guy.” He frowned, rubbing the back of his neck. Mike hadn’t slept much after that. “He didn’t like me going out apparently.” Yes, the irony wasn’t lost on him. “I’ll call him later. Check up on him....” he mused.

 

He yawned again, “enough about me. Your turn. Because I know that look!” He pointed to Blake, “you got laid. Nail the hottie again did you? Was he so thankful you saved him that he bent right over?” He chuckled.

 

“Need a lift to work? I’m heading that way anyway on my way back.”

"Look. I've never said anything about your stuff but this guy is not worth it. Please, think about and don't chase him anymore" he added finishing his coffee.

"Nor quite" he said not wanting to share yet anything with him. As he told Leo and accepted, he would keep it away from the others for the moment.

 

"He did thank me and all but, ended up on the couch. He doesn't want a relationship as he just broken up with his ex a few days ago" he continued looking at his cup. That part was kind of the truth. "We'll be just friends" he added sighing.

Mike frowned at that, “what you talking about? He was just upset. It’s not over or anything.” Right? Though maybe he should accept things as they were? Maybe Blake was right?

“Oh? Sounds boring but a good step forward. You probably shouldn’t be sexual until he’s reading to move on? Then you can sweep him off his feet! The guy always there for him.” He offered tenderly. Trying to support Blake.

Mike grunted. Then why tell him? “Ricks going to be pissed that you told me.” He felt snappy and wounded right now. Hearing home truths was never easy.

Mike found his thoughts going to Rick..... was it really true? He was having a hard time believing it.

“Yeah, yeah. As you wish.” But his mind was distracted as he drove. Soon he pulled up in the parking lot. “Go. Don’t get in more trouble....” he ordered.
