Ruri blinked over at him in surprise. “Don’t be silly.” He smiled and shook his head. “You don’t want that.” He purred and nuzzled him. “We had fun though. Right?”

 

No one ever meant it. Ruri had given up all hope that he’d ever find a forever home. No. This was best. He was a rent boy. He was a sex toy for anyone who wanted a quick fuck.

"Why do you thing that?" he asked confused.

He was dead serious. He got up, sitting on the bed looking at the neko.

"Why wouldn't i want that?"

Ruri blinked, slightly concerned that Takato was mad.... he wouldn’t hurt him? Would he?

 

“Because...” he frowned a moment, “...because no one really wants me. They just pretend. And when they’re done they toss me away again...”

 

Ruri’s ears and tail dropped as sadness washed over him.

Takato frowned.

"Hei " he said reaching out to him to lift his face. "I'm not going to toss you away" he said quickly not liking to see the other sad. He wanted to make him happy and always see the smile on his face.

"I do want you here with me. I'm not like the rest. I promise" he said caressing his cheek gently.

Ruri frowned. “But.... how do I know that?”

 

It wasn’t something he could imagine. No one wanted him.

 

He couldn’t help but look at the man. Eyes wide as tears started to fall. “But why?”

"I really cannot explain myself either" he answered honestly.

"Every time i've seen you in my bar i've always wanted to meet you ... to get to know you ... i couldn't understand how someone like you ended up like this. You're more that this" he added whipping the tears from his eyes.

"I want you with me" he said again.

Ruri didn’t dare to hope.... he let the tears be wiped away even as he whimpered slightly at the other.

 

He chewed his lip a moment. “You... really want me to stay?” His heart skipped.

 

“What.... what does that entail? What would I have to do?”

"You just have to be happy" he said hugging the other when he kept tearing the tears on his face.

"You will not have to do this job of yours. You will have a home"

Ruri leaned in but didn’t wrap his arms around the man.

 

He was trying to process all of this. “Will I still have sex with you?” Was that it? He stayed here... was fed and had bubbles before being rogered to sleep?

 

Would that be his daily routine?

"Sex is not everything that there is" he said looking at him confused. "We can go out. Go to amusement parks, zoo, movies walks, travel. Maybe you want to do something yourself like learning things. Have a normal life" he said trying to get the other to understand.

"And yes. There would be sex too but that's not all I want. I want you"

Ruri blinked in surprise. One ear perking up at the mention. “You’d take me out?” He smiled, giddy with excitement.

 

“I like sex.” He said simply. “I wouldn’t be happy without sex.” He chewed his lip. “But the rest sounds nice too...” he admits, blushing.

"Then you'd stay?" He asked with hope. Sex he could provide but also the rest he could prove.

The other was too silly and to innocent for the perverted world out there.

Ruri blushed and looked at him a moment. Thinking about it.

 

After a moment he jumped into his arms. Hugging him close. “I’ll try it....” Ruri wasn’t sure he could bare to give up his flat just yet. He had until then end of the month before rent was due.... he could give Takato until then. Right?

"Good" he said kissing him softly. "I'll go take a shower then" he said smiling getting out of bed. "Could you prepare something to eat? Like some sandwiches or something?" he asked the other before he went in the bathroom.

“Me?” Ruri squeaked. Chewing his lip he nodded a little. He wasn’t one for cooking. He ate out of the tin or had scraps others gave him... he wasn’t sure he knew how to cook! But a sandwich couldn’t be too hard? Right?

 

He climbed out of the bed, his legs shaking and wobbling a little as he walked to the kitchen. Slowly he looked around then pulled out a plate. The bread. Opening the fridge he smelt things and pulled them out. He tried buttering but he broke the bread in places before squishing tuna on top, squeezing out brown sauce and then sprinkling pickles and onion before pouring on vinegar and adding a top. He cut them into four messy pieces and smiled proudly at his creation.
