「Asylum」 .. private [KiraMidnight x Saga] ..

Kira laid there unconcious but woke up after a minute,his head hurt but hearing all the noise in the alley he got up.

He looked at the Slayers and at Ran and he gasped.He grabbed his dagger and dashed twords his Leader.He then ran twords his Leader and forcefully pulled the Leader and Ran apart.He knew how much trouble he could get in for this.

 

"LEAVE HIM ALONE,HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG!!!!!!WE SHOULD'T KILL INNOCENT VAMPIRES!!!!!"

 

Kira stood inbetween Ran and the other Slayers,keeping his dagger drawn and ready to defende the helpless Vampire

He knew there was something Ran made him forget....but he felt he was already doing what ever it was he told ran he would do...so he would find out later what he had forgotten

 

"If I were you...I would disapear now Ran.....I believe I'm strong enough to take them on,but in the risk that I cant,I want to make sure you are safe,so please leave them to me!"

[Saga]

Sweating already from the pain that the cross caused although it wasn't such a big burning through his whole being, Ran felt his breathing getting heavier.

Just when ready to bare fangs and unconsciously ruin the contract which would lead to his death, Kira jumped out of nowhere to save his worthless right now being.

 

Pupils were clearly widened at the surprise.

 

Didn't I... put him to sleep?

 

Ran blinked a few times, not noticing how hateful the glare of the leader was getting.

The hunter was firm and without a doubt in his statement. Ran stood there,leaning against the cold wall as let a chuckled sigh to lower head.

 

What have I become? Letting a younger defending me? Foolish...

 

Sneaking behind Kira, he knew he'd regret it later.

The slayer's leader rose his voice for Kira to run from Ran, but it was too late. The pure blooded sank his fangs into Kira's soft flesh, feeling the warmth of blood rushing into his mouth. He spoke the strongest spell ever known in Vampires chronicles to destroy the seal, as making a new contract. Choosing himself a new master. The vampire's eyes slid open when hand kept Kira at one place by force, to get his chin raised a bit for the last part - a bloody kiss.

 

All slayers stood there,ready to meet the well known vampire's leader - Ran II.

 

The necklace broke off Ran's neck and as a sign of a new contract he got some ancient letters engraved as a tattoo on his neck.

Kira's eyes widened a bit when he was bitten,he didn't expect what had happened,he felt dizzy now,his blood had been taken and he wasn't prepared.He shivered slightly,and looked at Ran,a bit confused,he remembered now that he agreed to help Ran...but he definatly didn't expect to help him like that.But it really didn't matter...he don't know how he helped Ran...but he was glad he did.

Using his sences,he forced himself to remain concious,even though in all truth he wanted to pass out

It's been so long.

 

He titled head to left, then to right - cracking some long forgotten parts due to his sleep.

 

And how lucky to get to taste blood of a younger. Though...

 

He looked over his shoulder at Kira, having some thoughtful look. There was a small detail that when a pure blooded tasted your blood, they could see a fragment from your past. So did Ran.

 

I wonder who did that to him.

 

He got a bloody trace on his cheek from the swing made by the slayer before him. How not nice was to be distracted and then ''surprised''.

 

A chuckle.

 

"You, idiots. Run, if your lives are dear to you."

 

A sparkle in his dark eyes that seemed to have their pupils go slit.

Kira looked at Ran,liste ing to him speak but then ended up collapsing,hitting the ground.

He felt so very sick,as if he had caught the flu or something.His stomach felt very bad and his head was dizzy.

He wanted to not feel so ill but he didn't care,he had helped Ran...and that made him feel much better about this situation

"Ran.......b-be good......p-please...."

Kira whispered quietly to Ran,knowing he could hear him

[Saga]

For his luck not, the slayers kept attacking. Noticeable was that he kept dodging; jumping from right to left and from left to right.

 

Hm.

 

"Oi, mortal, got a question for you", he stoop behind the slayers' leader with his hands in pockets as he kept them jammed all during the jumping.

"Gonna beg for mercy,Ran?", the old man turned around, showing some cold shoulder.

 

"Ouch, worse than insulting.", Ran chuckled but then his eyes shifted with coldness,"I heard that there was no peace after I agreed to the conditions assigned for me."

"Well,Ran... what can I say?", the slayer raised lightly his hands and shrugged,"We are humans and we do not accept anything different than our race."

 

A moment of freezing to the core truth.

 

"....", Ran chuckled barely as lowered head,"That's what I call racist", the vampire lifted his chin showing no expression, "So I actually was cheated."

"Pretty much, but hey, look at the bright side, we left you alive."

"Alive?", a quick raise of brow.

The slayer started circling together with Ran around an invisible circle of anger and hatred.

"You...left me...alive?",the poor blooded stressed out his words with some irony.

"Come on, didn't you enjoy the life of a...somehow mortal one?",said through laughter he was choked as soon as Ran made only one quick step to pin him on the ground.

"Watch your language, human. I am older than you, stronger and -.."

"And dumber than me. You are an idiotic vampire, nothing more.", the slayer cut Ran's talk off as hatred took place in his gaze.

"Hah...", Ran leaned down to close by an ear,"No, just less greedy, you idiot. Pray with your life to not see me ever again."

 

The pure blooded released the slayer as the rest made some entrance for him to leave. He stopped by Kira's unconscious body, to lift him up and disappear along with the younger.

 

A cough.

 

"Idiot, he said..", the leader got off the ground as laughed,"Oh boy, you are indeed dumber than me, leaving me alive will cost your own life."

Kira woke after about an hour.His head was pounding and he felt like crap.

He put his hand against his head and looked around a bit confused and was in a daze.

"W-what happened.....and where am I?"

He looked around,and remembered what happened to himself earlier and he looked around for Ran.

"Ran!?"

[Saga]

Ran was sitting on a chair near Kira's bed and seemed to be fallen asleep. He carried the boy to his old basement where no hunter and no vampire dared to enter, per say, it was something like the hideout of pure blooded ones.

 

The vampire felt calmer and kind of freed. He finally had a meal and his powers were still catching up. May be his body was out of shape and in order to absorb all that power back, he got exhausted.

Kira looked around the amazing looking room.

He fell in love with it's looks and it's old style.It amazed him to see a room like this.

He looked at the fire place,smiling happily at the was it looked as well.

"Amazing!!"

He whispered quietly while still looking around.

He felt speachless,that was all he could really say was Amazing...

[Saga]

// Dripping blood from forehead, Ran was leaning on a wall all together with Hyuri who he called Huyi. The vampire was rather against the hunter next to him, but seemed to cooperate just fine with him.

 

"And what now? Gonna dance lambada?!", Ran was at his still blooming age, when one vampire is considered for young.

"Shhh,they are here."

"Right...", he rolled eyes and sighed.

"Ran. You have to go.", Hyuri turned to the vampire, taking some small magical bad to put it in his palm.

"What's this?"

"It will hide your presence."

"And you?"

"I will slow them down."

"Wait, why are you even helping the vampires?"

"Do I need a reason to help an innocent being?"

"Innocent? Dude, we rather use your kind for food.",cocky as ever Ran laughed it off but Huyi showed that side of him with which Ran fell in love.

"And we feed on animals. Animals though don't harm us. So that makes us worse than animals. Just go", he pushed the vampire towards the exit when Ran got himself into some abandoned street toilet. Magic, call it.

 

"This idiot...he actually sent me into...some toilet..", Ran frowned but then closed eyes to laugh to his heart core, " My dear, how interesting humans can be."

 

A slow attend to open eyes, he had his vision still blurred from the overwhelming powers in his blood. Ran changed a bit his pose on the chair, yawning a bit.

 

Why the heck I had that dream...

 

A quick glance towards the bed, he wasn't there.

 

"Great. Where did that kid go now..."

Kira finally made his way back to the bedroom and saw Ran was awake

"Hey,you're awake again!How do you feel?"

Looks at Ran and gives him a sweet and confident smile.My eyes show a bit of trust but no fear at all.

"I suppose I'm stuck staying with you,since I cant go back to the slayers.But hat's cool,I don't mind.I just wanted to ask if it was ok with you if I remained here with you?"

He tilted his head a bit,wondering what Ran would answer

Guess it won't be so bad to live with a hunter...

 

A sarcastic laughter took place in his mind as he glanced over the boy.

"I see nothing bad about it as long as you don't enter some certain rooms."

 

He got up, knowing fully well that beneath that ground in

The legend said that they were over 5 centuries years old, when the first American foot landed on Europe. A dark fairytale about the discovery of a second race, but along with it was born the third race. Hybrids.

Every vampire was supposed to be put in an one thousand of years sleep, then awakened by a pure blooded when time was up. But the war took place and no one risked to awaken the first born vampires because that would mean end of human race. Call it a pity, but the vampires chose the lesser evil. And the last guardian of these monsters was Ran II whose only blood could awaken them.

 

A frown.

 

I wonder if Shou might actually think about it... Hopefully not... it'd be worse than any other Apocalypse...

Kira nodded and smiled at Ran.Watching his diffrent expressions change as Ran's thoughts changed.

Kira sighed a bit and began thinking

"Kid what are you getting yourself into...." He frowned

"This guy could kill me at any second he felt like doing so..." Once again Kira sighed.

"I guess though....cause he was innocent it is ok..."

"And he's pretty cute too.....DAMN IT WHY AM I THINKING ABOUT THIS CRAP!!!"

Kira put his hands on his head and covered his face,keeping the look in his eyes,showing a bit of affection for Ran,hidden

As he was ready to leave the room, he kind of pause his step and his hand froze on the door's knob. His powers were at their rage, so pretty much he could read minds.

 

....

 

A lack of suitable comment, so he just left the room, shaking head as laughing.

 

Kill him,my ass. The kid still doesn't know that he is my current master and better be that way.

 

He went through some almost ruined to the base stairs, leading somewhere even lower than the underground. As he was making his way to the very last "sector" of the basement, his breathe was spiraling in a purely white smoke - Cold.

 

His eyes switched into slit pupils.

 

"It's dark as ever", he mumbled as passed through

, reaching the forgotten by fate 'Vampire Asylum'. The ground was all soaked not enough though to get you all dirty. Ran wrinkled slightly his nose and jumped on a placed stone there.

 

"Let's see.. if I remember correctly...",looking around the so many firmly locked doors by glowing seals.

Kira was following quickly behind Ran,he hated being left behind and was amazed at the place he followed Ran to.

He was looking around confused but only following Ran through hearing.

He was really blind right now,he couldn't really see a thing but he was so cold

"Ran....where did you lead me.....!?" Kira thought loudly in his mind

"It's so cold!!!" He whispered in his mind,shaking slightly

He titled back his head,grinning faintly -

 

"To pick my pet from its hell", his eyes averted to the last room in that asylum. It was the only room glowing in red, the rest were washed shade of blue. The pure blooded vampire began his jumps once again - from stone to stone.

 

Here we are.

 

He stood before the blackness of that door, as it faintly covered his face with red light.

 

He knew it wouldn't be a problem for Kira to follow, not to mention that the glowing seals made it slightly brighter from their light reflection in the small liquid route.

Kira ran after Ran,breathing hard now.

"Ok,what kind of pet Ran!?"

His voice was winded but he half way kept up,meeting up with Ran at the door

[Saga]

A big almost not so innocent smile took a comfortable place on Ran's lips.

 

"The letian. It is a powerful creature from the underground. Hmm, oh,you mortal call it ...what it was in Japanese... dra-..dragon?"

 

He looked over Kira with eyes closed by the grin on lips.

Kira blinked a bit.Confused as to if Ran was serious.

"S-seriously.....a Dragon....you expect me to believe that Dragons are real now to!?"

Kira stared at Ran,waiting for him to open the door

"Well.....then show me....."

Quickly though a terrified thought went through Kira's mind

"The Dragon may kill me.....!!!!"

[Saga]

Surprised by the hunter's reaction, Ran thought that he would know about the other hybrids that have been tempted by the immortality.

 

Guess he doesn't know.

 

Ran curled up his sleeve as spoke,

"Yes, they are real and have been our servants for ages", he pushed Kira a bit backwards to not get hit by the strong compressed air which would swoosh around them.

 

"Nrah-ba, sultra karas medan freelh", once again he used that ancient language who was unknown for most creatures on Earth. He pressed his palm against the seal and the glowing light started "crawling" up his veins. The vampire flinched a bit as continued, "Marat-es dookal peritavat!"

 

As supposed the air was cut by the strong spell, which got Ran's hair ruffling around as if there was wind.

 

The door was fully open.

After the door opened Kira took a brave step and peaked his head inside the door,looning for tye creature.

He wanted to see what it looked like,was it scary,or would it be friendly?

He looked around,standing infront of Ran and useing his eyes look for it

"What is the Dragon's name?And is it boy or girl??"

[Saga]

The dark was like in some pit and there was no sound of breathing that could indicate a living being inside the so said "cage" in the asylum. Ran barely paid attention to the door as was busy with fixing his sleeve.

 

"His name is ... Eira. And he is genderless though I prefer thinking of it as a he.''

 

A shift.

 

Something really was coming from the depth of that darkness.

Kira smiled,thinking about what the being would be like.He called out,his voice echoing

"HEEEEYYY EIRA!!!!!!COME HEEERRREEE!!!!!"

Kira seemed to be having fun,calling out to the Dragon,he was smiling happily and his mind wondering what Eira would look like.

[Saga]

A twitch of eye as one strand hair would stand out of the perfectly fixed hair - just like some manga character. Ran couldn't believe his eyes, the kid actually decided to greet a great monster locked up for ages in the vampire asylum - just like a buddy?!

 

Silence.

 

Ran rolled his eyes and leaned on the wall, leaving Kira there in front of the door. He knew that the pet wouldn't attack if not by a command. But well, the so said pet was kind of...too harsh on other races.

 

"Tsk", a click of tongue, someone was making slow steps towards the boy.

 

From the faint light coming inside, one then two bare feet were illuminated. Standing in his human form, Eira's red hair was enough of...long to cover all his nudity...though wasn't enough of a disguise for his sore mood.

"No one is deaf,kiddo. I heard you from first step into the asylum.", his yellow slit eyes averted towards the figure leaning behind the wall.

 

....

 

There was a small pause of disagreement in Eira's eyes, seemed like he really was mad at his master, but a brief moment - he closed his eyes.

 

A slight bow to kneel, Eira laid his knee on the dirty ground. Not a big deal since he himself was all dirty. The red hair was so silky although the dirtiness, he looked as if not of this world. The dragon lowered his head as if welcoming back his master.

 

"I think I must know why the heck you are here",Ran sounded rather scolding the other.

"Master... I tried to -..",in a quick try to explain he was scolded again.

"I suppose to break my contract."

 

The dragon lowered his head again,finding it meaningless to argue with his superior.

 

"Who locked you?"

"Master Shou."

"Why?"

"Because...I tried to free you."

"I said 'WHY' ?!",annoyed by the other Ran got his shoulders off the wall to face his dragon.

"They...wanted to awake the first born ones. But they didn't know they need your blood, so they looked out for the slayers, bounding a contract with them."

 

Ran stood there, not moving or saying anything....

 

Impossible.

Kira,unafriad of the Dragon thought

"HOW CUTE!!!!!"

He couldn't help but to react in a childish mannor and quickly hugged the naked Dragon

"You are amazing!!!!!!So cute and.....and...."

Kira grew quite but continued hugging the Dragon

"And cutier then I expected!!"

Kira kept holding the Dragon,laying his head on the Dragon's shoulder smiling and blushing
