Nash.thy.teeth
(I wrote this to myself after my dad died.) Dear son, My death was nothing I've only slipped into the room beside you We are still together Father and son forever Call me by my name And daddy will come home running Speak to me in the way you used to Make your voice no different Wear no tone of forced air Or tone of sorrow Laugh with me like we used to Laugh at the tiny things in life Rememberthe times we spent together Play with me It'll be a blast As long as your thinking of me Speak my name as it once was Let it be spoken without effect Without a trace of sorrow Why should I be out of mind Because I am out of sight? No,for as you are writing this poem I am there beside you watching over my little boy grow Daddy loves you.
