Guest Yukonwolfspirit
“I will get in trouble if I don’t go in. You don’t need to stay here with me.” Yukie added with a small frown not liking that the vampire was being so stubborn. “I can find somewhere safe for you to stay but you can’t leave until I do.” Yukie explained gently petting the dogs head before picking him up with ease. Carrying him down an old worn pathway Yukie arrived at the back of the mansion with one hand he unlocked a servants quarters door and quietly made his way inside. “I will be back in a few hours I’ll make sure to bring you food” Yukie added with a small frown once they arrived at the bedroom door. Opening his door Yukie walked in the room clearly the young hunters covered in weapons and most things a hard core hunter would keep. “I’m sorry for the state of this room, I have no say in this place so I hope you understand” Yukie explained clearly embarrassed by the room as he sat Astaroth on his bed. “Please feel free to change back and relax while I’m gone I’ll keep the door locked and knock when I come back so you can keep hidden if you want” Yukie finished before fixing his suit and heading out looking very much like he was going to be tortured at the event. “There you are! Your grandfather is waiting for you...” Yu added Frowning at his son who quietly shut the door behind him. “Look...you can live your life as you wish outside of the hunter gatherings but for my sake please ignore your grandfathers entertainment he wanted to celebrate Raven before announcing your new partners” Yu explained knowing he was pushing his son down a path that only killed him inside. “I know don’t let them see you cry, don’t react no matter how horrible they are” Yukie explained clenching his jaw as he could hear the laughter. “Don’t let them see you Win the hunt and you can keep him hidden” Yu added before escorting his son downstairs to visit before the vampire hunt began the vampire that was chained up sitting in a corner to be released for a live hunt the honor going to the one who killed him. For the last ten years it had happily been Yukie who had one and it was the only reason he attended the barbaric gatherings.
Guest Sayuri86
A hunter. This mansion is a nest of hunters. Astaroth was having trouble digesting the new information and felt somewhat heartbroken towards Yukie as he looked around the room full of tools intended to the extermination of his people. Scared to change back in Yukie's presence because the boy might recognize and lunge at him, the vampire only laid on the bed, looking crushed and pretended to sleep as Yukie got ready to the affair he was supposed to attend. Even after the young human left, he refrained to take back his usual shape for a while. Yukie hadn't really lied to him, what could the boy know? It wasn't his fault and the vampire wasn't innocent himself. But it still hurt, somehow. Worried it might set him off in the future, the vampire prince thought it would be wiser to keep his identity and true nature a secret for a while longer, at least until he had come to terms with the decision of killing and drinking the boy. After a while, he eventually got up and changed back in order to have a little more of mobility, as thumbs were really helpful when it came to escaping a dangerous place. He looked around for something he could use but eventually stumbled on a closet full of... toys. "This boy has some strange tastes." - he supposed, and closed down the closet's door with a faint blush. Well, human's lives were short, it made sense they would find engenious ways to enjoy every minute of it, especially in bed. The mansion was probably swarming with hunters for some kind of meeting or gathering, so Astaroth decided it would be safer to inspect the place taking another route: climbing his way around the buildings outer walls until he found a safe place to get back inside and take a better look. Sure, a wiser vampire would probably have turned around and run at the first opportunity, but Astaroth wanted to know more about the organization's doings to see how much of a threat they were, and deep down, he wanted to see if there was some sort of correlation between these hunters and the sorry state of Yukie's body. Though he hadn't known them for long, he never really liked Raven anyway. Confident in his abillities, Astaroth unlocked the window and went outside, grasping onto the architecture. He climbed down until he found a series of windows that lead to a long corridor on the building's lower levels. Another scent had started to bother him for a while now. The scent of fear, and unless there were more shady things going on, Astaroth assumed they had a vampire under their custody. Hiding himself in the shadows, he proceeded. Guest Yukonwolfspirit
Sighing softly Yukie fixed his combat boots the man wearing a traditional hunters clothing the thick fabric great against claws and biting. Tying up his long hair Yukie loaded up his weapons and slipped a gun in a side pocket along with a small backpack used for survival. Going outside Yukie stood with the other four raven glaring at the fact his own ex was competing against him. Looking down at the young vampire who looked no more then twelve Yukie watched as he was shoved forward by his grandfather who watched the boy run towards the woods a little two happily. Listening to the excited chatter Yukie watched for a moment before a flair was shot and they all took off run deep into the dark woods. As the group sat and took a break to enjoy the refreshments the first hour passed and then the second before gunshots could be heard and another flair went out signaling the end of the game. Walking back the two other men where cheering as Raven stormed off being quite the poor sport. Looking a little exhausted Yukie stood covered in quite a bit of blood the male bowing gracefully as he look at his grandfather who beamed with pride and broke out the alcohol glad that for another year his heir was successful! “Seems your son is better then you where at these games” Yoh replied to Yu smirking proudly at his blood covered grandson. “Yes he’s turned into a fabulous hunter. He’s rather ruthless when it comes to his work. It’s why I asked he works alone now Raven kept holding him back from his hunting he wasn’t able to keep up. I ask you let him travel freely and hunt alone” Yu asked his father looking at Yukie in a slightly proud way as he watched the celebration from the sidelines. “Fine fine. Keep him alone he brings me great pride truely he possesses the skill that skipped you” Yoh muttered before quieting everyone. “Tonight we celebrate another birthday for my dear grandson! Now at 21 he has became a true hunter and as tradition calls he shall wear his hunters mark proudly no longer will he wear the temporary mark of our clan tonight we bestows upon him the highest honor!” Yoh explained as the group cheered. “And who better then his proud father to brand the mark of a hunter into him!” Yoh yelled getting more barbaric cheers as Yukie sipped his drink knowing all to well the hell that was going to follow. Going over Yukie stood in front of the man holding his bag in his hand Yukie stared his grandfather down as his clans mark was branded into his lower back the iron burning deep into his skin. “Thank you...it’s an honor” Yukie whispered his hand shaking in pain but for Yukie he could handle it for the prize he had obtained tonight. A few minutes later Yukie had called it a night and heading back to his room collapsed onto his bed before instantly going to the bathroom to vomit. As he came out Yukie looked at the bag before unzipping it and taking out a tiny little ball python. “Your safe to change back...” Yukie whispered watching at the young vampire looked around still terrified and covered in pigs blood. Guest Sayuri86
Careful to stay hidden from the hunter's sight, Astaroth was able to pick up they seemed to be preparing for some sort of grand event and that was when he caught a glimpse of the vampire boy being taken along with the mob, and worried about what was really going on. But he couldn't confront a pack of trained hunters head on without any backup without knowing their skills or what kind of dirty tricks they'd be willing to use, it would be too risky, if not suicidal. When he heard the first flair, however, Astaroth rushed outside, nervous about what he could find but brave enough to observe the scene and noticed the commotion. A live bait hunt? He thought such custom had been abandoned long ago. Moments later, second flair wounded the nightsky and the vampire had a gut feeling concerning what it meant. But still, nothing could prepare him for the sight of Yukie emerging out of the woods, covered in blood and being proclaimed the victor. He just couldn't stand it anymore, obviously not realizing what the victory meant for Yukie. Astaroth was not heartbroken, he was furious with what he had seen. The vampire prince rushed his way into the night, unable to bear seeing or hearing anything else from the festivites, making a steadfast resolution. Soon he would cease his opportunity and kill the hunter responsible for the fledgeling's death, draining him to the last drop without any mercy. A life for a life, it was decided. Guest Yukonwolfspirit
“I’m sorry for frightening you” Yukie explained looking at the boy who just broke down sobbing still terrified and unsure of where he was and what to do. Sighing softly Yukie gently hugged the younger male in a way that only showed comfort and love. “There there, no need to be scared anymore Your safe now” Yukie whispered wiping away the boys tears. “Now then do you have a name I can call you? Maybe you can give me your address so I can take you home?” Yukie asked softly letting the boy get all of his fear out. “M-my name is Ren...” the boy whimpered out shaking slightly while looking up at the hunter. “I- I don’t know where we lived we travelled a lot in the mountains” Ren explained with a small hiccup trying to calm down his crying. “Well then Ren...why don’t we get you cleaned up. I have a fairly nice sized bathtub you can use and after I can find you something to eat I bet you haven’t hunted in quite some time” Yukie explained as he lead the boy to the bathroom and started running a bath. Leaving him to bathe Yukie sighed and laid on his bed for a moment before changing his clothes great full that the thick layers kept his body clean. Going over to his bedside drawer before turning at the soft knock. “Brought you something to eat” Yu whispered keeping quiet as he closed the door and set the full plate of food down for Yukie the tray also containing supplies to remove blood. “I also brought some medicine for after...for the pain” Yu added a deep guilt clouding his eyes as he looked at his son. “Thank you, he’s...taking a moment to calm down” Yukie explained hearing the water move softly in the tub. Sitting down on the bed Yukie closed his eyes as his father carefully took the blood from Yukie. “A full bag should be enough till you take him home...it’s been a few months that he’s been with father. While I couldn’t find any injuries on him I’m sure he was starved” Yu explained with a small frown setting the blood aside before setting the medicine and food in front of Yukie. “ putting that aside how is your health? You’ve been keeping regular checkups with the doctor?” Yu asked worried Yukie had slacked off on his health due to his work. “I’m fine, I had to take a few days off to rest and adjust to my new medication but the doctor says I’m fine as long as I keep ahead of my illness.” Yukie reassured his father who unknowing to the other hunters had tried to make sure his son would never be seen as weak. Because of this Yukie didn’t live in the house unless needed and had a private doctor to watch over his health. Having been frail as a child and sick often Yukie kept to three types of medicine to keep himself healthy. One was to keep his body from over producing blood forcing his body to slow down the production. Because of this he often got easily winded and light headed. His second was a basic drug to keep his immune system on alert due to needing to lower his blood abnormality Yukies body had a hard time figuring out how to defend against colds and illness. And for the third it was to keep his sanity. Due to his grandfathers training with father and then with him Yukie had suffered his mind broken and quite damaged this had played a part after his second mother’s passing where his father had found him in a dark and horrible place and not even acknowledging that he was hurt or bleeding out and still trying to fight and train. Because of this Yu had become strict with Yukies life marking sure that he had someone to check up on him and that person should have been Raven. But Raven wanted a strong partner and had withheld his medicine causing Yukie to piss him off and get the shit beat out of him in a horrible fight between the two. “I called Haru. He’s going to do checks on you...make sure you don’t forget to take it and he will help keep your blood levels under control” Yu explained knowing about Haru being a half vampire and well he was the one who had called him the first time Yukie had been on his own after being medicated and broke down. Yu having stepped back as a father after his wife’s death had realized Yukie couldn’t be alone and with him seperating from Raven he was worried about his son living alone. “I won’t be alone...until we find Rens family he will stay with me” Yukie mumbled eating his food as the boy peeled out in the soft pajamas that Yukie had left for him. “ food...is um...here” Yukie mumbled already starting to sleep his body exhausted. Looking over at Ren Yu frowned slightly. “You bite him and I will be very angry” Yu warned Ren as he covered Yukie with the blankets and left Ren to eat his blood in peace beside Yukie. “You will leave in the morning when he’s rested so please stay here until I come get you” Yu whispered leaving the two alone. Guest Sayuri86
That night, Astaroth had successfully tracked Yukie down by scent, and came back to fulfill his promise. He entered the bedroom as silently as before but another vampire could feel his blood boiling from a distance. The prince was so blinded by rage, not only towards Yukie's deed but also against himself for not having been able to prevent it, that he didn't see Ren was soundly asleep all curled up nearby the young hunter. Astaroth aproached Yukie like a shadow and bared his fangs menacingly in a whispered growl, ready to snap the boy's neck between his teeth so he wouldn't be able to wake up and resist as the prince fed. Guest Yukonwolfspirit
Sitting up Ren hissed a deep low growl his eyes suddenly sharp and glaring at the older vampire. Looking at Astaroth Ren moved to where he was more over Yukies body protecting the exhausted human. “Leave him alone!” Ren snarled low enough so he wouldn’t wake Yukie who rolled and curled more into the young vampire. Guest Sayuri86
Astaroth was suddenly thrown off by the sudden interruption and quickly stepped back when he recognized the boy used for bait during the live hunt. "You?! How come? I thought you were dead." - then he looked briefly at Yukie, realizing the hunter had actually spared his prey's life. But why? The anger in his expression had eventually dissolved and his fine features now exhibited a more concerned, puzzled look. The sleeping boy's form seemed even more delicate than the last time he had gazed upon him as he rested. Yukie was still as beautiful as the moon, but with a closer look, Astaroth could tell he was also was sickly. Maybe that was why sweet Yukie had caught his eye since the first moment he saw him. Predators always took more interest the weak and sick, he supposed, it was just nature's way, a cold rational law. But should those laws still apply so restrictively to vampires, the most human-like of all monsters? The vampire prince then turned to Ren. "Please, tell me what is going on, I'm so confused." Astaroth was a lot calmer now, it could be heard in his voice, and he was ready to listen to whatever Ren had to say. Guest Yukonwolfspirit
“Um...well I stayed with the old man before coming here. Suddenly I was thrown out into the woods and next thing I know I was pinned down and forced into my other form” Ren explained with a frown not sure how the hunter had stopped him. “I didn’t hear him...he was scary fast” Ren added covering Yukies bandages with the blanket more to keep him warm. After I smelt pigs blood and then there was lots of noise and burning flesh smell...when I was let out Yukie got me cleaned up and fed he could tell I hadn’t eaten this month” Ren mumbled still very much confused but deeply trusting this hunter who seemed to only want to keep him safe. “The older hunter his father I’m guessing said he’s been sick and some other hunter kept it from him so he’s going through withdrawals his body produces to much blood and he has something for his mental state” Ren finished not sure what it meant only repeating what he was told. “I’m not allowed to bite him” he added with a sigh clearly only satisfied. Guest Sayuri86
Astaroth listened carefully to the young vampire, as a concerned parent would, and when Ren finished his retelling, the prince looked at Yukie once more, really not understanding why, but glad the young hunter had some compassion in him, along with his father. Despite being a vampire, Astaroth could sometimes understand the fear and how it could easily become aggression on the humans' part. He could understand the hunting of adult vampires with little scruples like the common criminal who killed indiscriminately out of greed, and even so, every case was its own beast, sometimes. But Ren, he was just a boy after all. "What about you, love? Don't you have anyone to go to? No parent?" - he asked, afraid Ren would say his family was killed by hunters as well. In that case, the least he could do was taking him in after the mistake, he thought.
Guest Yukonwolfspirit
“I have parents just not sure where...Yukie was looking for them on his phone” Ren explained looking at Astaroth. “Are you his mate?” Ren asked looking at the vampire wondering why he was in Yukies room and why he was so concerned about the hunter. “If not where you going to Kill him?” Ren asked watching Yukie who gasped a little as if struggling to breathe before sitting up a little moving a pillow under his chest more to breathe easier. “...it would be best to...he shouldn’t live being as weak as he is needing so much help to even breathe” Ren mumbled seeing the hunter as weak prey now that he was safe. Guest Sayuri86
Astaroth couldn't hold a chuckle at Ren's candid question. "I'll tell you when you're older." - he replied while petting his head - "But you were very brave tonight and I wish to get you safely back at home." Then he looked at Yukie once more. "I thought he had killed you, hence my ill will against him, but now I see you're safe I don't have a reason to do it. That being said... it will be up to him. Though I have to admit, I wish I hadn't to do it. You shouldn't worry about it. Now, be good, look after him, and let him do his research. I will be back tomorrow if you're ready to leave." - said Astaroth, already self-proclaiming to be their escort as he left again through the window. Guest Yukonwolfspirit
“Okay” Ren whispered before snuggling back down into Yukie. As the night passed and morning arrived Yukie looked at the vampire sitting across him from the breakfast table the morning eerily silent as Yukie processed what Ren had told him had happened last night. “...we run into someone looking to escort us into town then I will somewhat believe you” Yukie mumbled stabbing at his food the male quite annoyed and in pain as he sighed and finished eating. Grabbing his bag and wearing his hunters uniform Yukie held open his bag so Ren could sleep in it on the trip down the mountain. “You know I can drive you home?” Yu offered not liking the thought of his son hiking down the mountain. “You took my temperature and the doctor checked me out and said I’m fine...no reason I can’t walk to the bus stop in town” Yukie argued already heading out the door and info the woods. Guest Sayuri86
Early that morning, Astaroth was picking up some tack in his barn when a familiar voice echoed inside his mind. "You gave me extra grain last night. Are you planning a long journey?" "I don't know how long it might be Arion, I'm just playing safe." - the vampire prince said while carrying a sturdy saddle and bridle towards his horse. "Well, since you're speaking of playing safe, and supposing we'll be traveling during the day, I don't think I need to remind you of your susceptibility. It's called heat syndrome, and the last time you ignored it, you almost..." "Don't worry." - Astaroth replied firmly, and then in a softer tone - "It will be fine." The horse thumped one of his massive front hooves on the ground as Astaroth fastened the girth across his stomach. "I hate it when you say that." - he admitted in defeat with a loud snort. And he meant it. Arion saw himself as an old warhorse and the idea of serving as a pack animal for what he supposed to be yet another one of Astaroth's boy toys didn't thrill him as usual. Sure, he might not know the most private details of the story, but he did feel sorry for Ren, and deep down he was glad he could be of help. Arion was a good soul and his connection to Astaroth was way beyond the blood bond established when Astaroth bit him out of extreme hunger when they got themselves lost in the Alps during a snowstorm. For several centuries they had trained together, traveled together, eaten together, rested together, both were each other's teacher and student, much to the point of separation anxiety becoming a tangible concern for both of them. With Astaroth holding the reins, they walked side by side down the road towards Yu's house, gathering a few weird looks from some passersby, not that it bothered them. As much as Astaroth recognized the value of some commodities that had become part of everyday life such as telephones and computers, he still wasn't too fond of modern means of transportation. As they approached the house's main entrance, Astaroth took a quick look at his own attire, in an attempt to look as smart as possible just before he could ring the doorbell and mumbled back to the horse. "Now be nice. I don't want you to make an ugly scene. And stay out of my head." Letting out a resigned snort, Arion sat back in response, assuming a rather goofy pose for a horse in front of the doorway while still looking like a huge disheveled oaf regardless how the vampire had carefully braided parts of his mane to allow him to see better and oiled his coat so it looked shiny and beautiful, and now that pose that seemingly defied Astaroth's good taste and nerves. Guest Yukonwolfspirit
“If your looking for the master of the house he’s out for the day and the young master has headed home” a servant yelled through an open window on the balcony Yukies room being packed up and cleaned the place reeking of old blood from the night of the hunt. “We where told one of his friends where stopping by to pick up the young boy with him he told us to let them know they decided to hike back down” the maid finished as she held the blood dried sheets in her arms. -meanwhile- “You sure you know where your going?” Ren asked worried not sure Yukie was in the best health for this trip. “I grew up in these mountains and have been exploring them alone since I was able to walk...I know our way home. With any luck Haru should have contacted your parents and they will be waiting at the cafe to pick you up” Yukie explained knowing he wouldn’t have any cell service this deep in the forest. Guest Sayuri86
Astaroth thanked the servant courteously and left, closely followed by the horse behind him. Even if he had told the boy he would be back to accompany them he could have been prevented from waiting for him by no fault of his own, sure. But what about the dried blood on the sheets? Was it all from last night's chase? Something didn't seem right. Astaroth just hoped the hunter wasn't taking back a cadaver. When they crossed the house's main gate, he mounted up Arion and instigated the horse in the direction pointed out by the servant, expecting at least to find Yukie at home and the vampire boy alive and well. He was aprehensive and didn't voluntarily comunicate with the horse unless by means of reins and the pressure of his legs. Arion, however, seemed to be willing to sing a different tune, even while being pushed to a full gallop. The horse might have a reputation for being lazy and with a bomb proof temperament, but the feeling of being right about something fueled him like oil to a flame. "Disappointed now, are we? I told you that boy was trouble but you never listen." "If he did kill the boy, I'll do the same to him, that is all." "And yet, if you really have to do it, you are still torn about it." "I have no idea of what you're talking about." - Astaroth replied with a grunt. "Of course you do." "..." "A couple of weeks have passed and you made a routine out of visiting him on that cafe. You even entered his bedroom at night, imagine that. You had the perfect opportunity and hunger as your motif, and you couldn't take his life." Even if Astaroth had managed to omit the lustful side of his first visit to Yukie, Arion still had a pretty good idea of what was going on with him. "Just because it's you holding the reins, it doesn't mean you can fool me." "I told you to stay out of my head." "That is your burden to carry. And I bet I know what gets to you, Astaroth, I mean, what really gets to you. I know very well how much you'd like to make that young hunter scream." "You are out of line, horse." "I should know, I am your warhorse, but I'm also your fledgeling, so to speak. I know everything about you. I know all your dirtiest fantasies." - Arion replied on a somber note - "You'd like to fuck him right there in that hunter clan's headquarters. Hold him down from behind, grip his hips to stop him from escaping, to take and pound into him over and over whether he likes it or not... that's your dream isn't it?" Astaroth kept his silence. "During that entire week you stopped going to the cafe and you would sometimes try staring desperately at the glossy photo of some pin-up boy... but all you'd see was that hunter's face." As the vampire kept unresponsive, the huge horse took his silence as compliance towards his words and snickered a mischievous noise into the vampire's mind, clearly happy with himself in a borderline perverted way. "That's it. That's what it gets to you. See? I know how you think, I know how you feel, and you can't possib-..." Suddenly, Arion felt such a sharp pressure within his mouth and muzzle caused by the bridle, even his mind went numb - "Shut. Up. Fucking nag." After a while they were back at Yukie's own house, and Astaroth seemed to hesitate, eventually deciding to wait outside for them to come out. Guest Yukonwolfspirit
“Thank you for finding them. I know it wasn’t easy what I asked of you” Yukie mumbled leaving the house with Haru who shrugged. “He was happy to see his parents, I don’t mind the free meal for my mate either” Haru explained holding the small cooler that had been filled with blood bags Yukie had ‘donated’ for his friends help in getting the boy home. “As always I don’t mind it keeps me healthy” Yukie admitted still looking rather tiered as Yukie stopped and looked over at Astaroth noticing him for a moment. Standing awkwardly in just some low cut shorts Yukie felt a little to naked his body covered in quite the amount of bruises from his hunter party while his burned mark was wrapped in bandages. “Seems you have a guest. I’ll take my leave then” Haru added with a raised brow leaving the two to talk Yukie having recived a call from his fathers house about a man looking for him. “At this point I have to offer you a drink for coming all this way to meet me...sadly I don’t have accommodations for....your friend” Yukie added trying to keep polite but absolutely terrified of going near the horse. Guest Sayuri86
Astaroth lowered his head at Haru in a silent greeting as he walked past him. The vampire prince had many questions in his head but now it certainly wasn't the time for them. Ren was the reason of his visit and he thought he should at least get an explanation on that subject. "Don't worry." - he replied politely, but one could hear some frustration in his tone - "It doesn't seem I will linger for long. I only came for Ren, but it seems I'm no longer needed." Astaroth wanted to accept Yukie's offering, staying for a while and try to solve this intricate puzzle the young hunter seemed to personify, but the other half of the vampire was telling him that now Ren was gone it was better to get away from Yukie and quit while he was ahead, then again... As the vampire debated, Arion was still sour and though he had no ill-will towards Yukie himself, he started to munch on every bit of plant life that seemed remotely edible for a horse. Sure if he was in a better mood he hardly would have left Astaroth shadow while not attended to, but the tug on the bridle made him decide to eat his feelings instead. Guest Yukonwolfspirit
“Ren has been safely turned over to the authorities. Run away boys should be reported and turned in” Yukie explained his eyes narrowing a touch as he easily lied wondering why his frequent customer was looking for him. Turning to look at Haru who had excused himself to head inside Yukies face paled at the sight of his beautiful flowers. “....fucking hell your horse!” Yukie snapped his heart breaking at the sight of the ruined yard he spent so much time cultivating. Covering his face Yukie sighed trying to keep calm since raising his blood pressure would be the worse thing for his health. “I need a fucking drink” Yukie groaned having been pushed to his limits as he sat on the step clearly exhausted and defeated at the fact he couldn’t have one peaceful place to hide away from the world. Guest Sayuri86
"Arion, no!" - Astaroth cried out loud as he realized Yukie's distress and grabbed the reins to pull the horse back to his side, managing to get the horse's compliance but also a bored snort. The vampire didn't want to deal with him right now and rushed to Yukie's side, being a lot more worried about the young hunter. "I can pay for that..." - he said apologetically as he joined Yukie by the steps with a glance of concern. Yukie looked so exhausted and even more fragile than before. "Are you alright?" Watching a human in this kind of distress tended to freak the vampire out a bit, mostly because he didn't know any doctors since he didn't particularly need their services, a couple of vets maybe, but no doctors, so he didn't really know what to do in such circumstances. "You need no drink, you need to lie down." - he said, taking the hunter in his arms even before starting to process what he was actually doing. Guest Yukonwolfspirit
“I don’t need rest I’m fine!” Yukie replied his face red as he was suddenly picked up. With his heartbeat hammering fast against his chest Yukie put his arms up and gently pushed against Astaroth only to wince in pain as his stitches ripped under the bandages causing a rush of blood to pour out of the wound instantly soaking through and into Astaroths sleeve. “Put me down now I’m fine!” Yukie demanded a slight panic in his voice as he tried to hide the fact he was pretty wounded from the fights last night one of the hunters having cut him up pretty good. “Please...” Yukie mumbled his body feeling so tiered and so cold the man just wanting to sleep his body having been pushed past its limits. Guest Sayuri86
As the blood started to flow through the open wound, Astaroth could smell it immediately which was enough to get alarmed. Although his first instinct was to drain the boy dry only not to allow the blood of an already dying human go to waste, he just couldn't, rather he didn't want to. Without a response, only a nod of the head for the horse to stay where he was and don't move a muscle until he got back, the vampire took Yukie inside instead. He was troubled, he obviously didn't know how to care properly for a human, and last time he checked on the subject, leeches were still the best thing human medicine had to offer. "I'm sorry." He laid Yukie on the first couch he found and quickly opened the boy's shirt to look inside. It looked like something was ripped off and Astaroth suddenly wished his human servant was around, at least Luc was a lot more competent around lacerations than he was. The vampire wouldn't be able to replicate the stitches by himself but he could try to stop the bleeding. "Yukie, I need you to keep talking to me... look at me." - he said while holding the hunter's pale face between his hands. - "What do you need?" Astaroth figured the hunter must have some sort of medical supplies and adequate drugs around the house, he found it wiser not to mess with unknown substances on his own and hoped Yukie had some idea of what to do. Guest Yukonwolfspirit
“Ngh...I have a medical kit in the hallway closet in it is sterile supplies but wash your hands” Yukie groaned his hand clutching at the wound. While he was beaten pretty badly and cut up this wound had been given by a jagged blade ripping his flesh to the point that stitches where painful and hard to keep in unless kept on bed rest. “Fucking bastard pulling such a dirty trick” Yukie groaned as he forced himself to sit up better trying to keep from passing out. “Just close it up and you can leave...my body will heal within two weeks” Yukie mumbled being able to heal and regenerate quite easily since it was a unique trait to his genetics making him quite the powerful hunter. “Why have you been following don’t you guys just...I don’t know kill the people they stalk?” Yukie asked his brain not clicking that Astaroth was a vampire.
