While I was working on editing the rough translation provided by Cass and Rainieric, I just found myself trolling the main characters without meaning so.

Then when I realized it, I laughed my heart out.

 

Before the rape scene Yuuki (the uke) says in the argument:

Note: Orange - The uke; Gray - The seme

 

 

I’m not good at talking, so I’ll skip to the important points.

"VASSALORD OVA"

 

I must say it was the first time when I have managed to translate an OVA for around 8 hours or so?

I have to confess though that it got me pretty exhausted. When I finished it, felt my brain just like some jelly.

 

Anyhow, like many people noticed the beginning of VASSALORD was pretty odd. And these who have read the manga know very well that some scenes were purely created only for the OVA's sake.

One of these scene was the beginning. At first I thought it was Japanese and I am just deaf (and by the way the music + the screams in the beginning weren't helping at all) to come to understand what was the opening speech.

 

But then I heard that French and typical 'r'. I zoomed and asked Key to listen to it. Pretty much we figured out what was the speech...after one hour of head-desking. ;D

(Small confession of mine, I even thought they were using Latin for the opening since ...you know - vampires.

)

 

At the whole, the OVA included four languages, I think (because once again of the background noise that seemed to overtake all the mutely said speech). One was French, English, Japanese and Chinese (though were two lines/ words when they were in China).

 

 

If I have to give one only whining about it, it'd be the louder-than-words music. Because it simply made me unable to focus and almost being deaf to the said things, always when important speech was up.

Honestly, I wanted to punch something.

This one would be embarrassing. XD

I was cleaning a page when I made "a small" mistake. It was like 4AM or something,so I was pretty tired

 

XD I... deleted Maya's manhood. XD When I realized I don't have a copy of the RAW page up until I was already done with the cleaning, I tried to draw back the ... "attribute"

But duuuude, I drew it so ... not nicely XDDDDDDDD

I am actually typing this while doing some editing on the current project.

You know, best transferred thoughts are when spoken at the moment of bloom.

What happened backstage, stays backstage. But seriously guys, you can laugh with us. ;'D

 

There is that scene that caught me off guard. When Kyou and Jun walk into Saijou's office, while the dude is doing some chick.

"Dounimo Nannai Soushi Souai"

 

This is actually one of the current projects YO Translation Group is running. I must say something very important. *pauses* Kansai dialect, just that.

 

Of all the thousand and thousand, and thousand manga titles out there,

I was so frigging lucky to hit the 'golden pot' with Kansai dialect.

Killing all my neurons -- ...

From now onwards I think I will just use FKD, instead of FML.

[F*ck. Kansai. Dialect.]

 

As many of you, who are actually reading Dounimo, noticed by now

the manga is pretty funny. But so I won't spoil from the new chapters, I will shut up now.

Three, two, one -- Action!

Confession time has arisen. I must admit a few things before I give you that long and hard... third chapter of

Dounimo (I know, I know. Pervert. I actually used 'end that long and hard chapter,

but heck, had to tease. Blame Kubo-Sensei for the teases. Ahahahaha-ha-ha, got the joke, priesto? ._.)

 

Firstly, I shall say... it is an amazing feeling to translate the seme's lines. I feel like a boss, literally. XD

I mean, who won't feel like a boss when types 'Imma rape you'? XDDDDDDDD

(Probably it's because I am a seme, too. Ahahaha-ha-ha, got the joke, priesto? ._.)

(Actually, there was no joke, lol.)

 

Secondly,

OH MAH GAD.... The chapter is actually full with emotions.

But leave the emotions aside, you just gotta feel it as Genji did. Fuhu.

 

Thirdly,

... there is no thirdly. LOL.

Working on the last chapter of Dounimo Nannai. I've been sick for some weeks thus the work was delayed but hey, I am back up on feet.

What can I say about Dounimo as it is approaching its end, well, it is one hell of a sweet story. Yeah, you will see in the last chapter

that they both had something else to treasure than just a bully-victim relationship, lol.

Though, I must admit...Kousaka is damn sadistic.

 

But honestly, coming to an end with a project feels like watching your kid grow and spread wings,

I suppose.... *dramatic sign*

 

But well, let's look at the bright side. We will have a lot of other projects to approach and do our best.

It's true though we are pretty new to the world of scanlation groups, but there is that first step we all make.

I am not afraid to take on challenges and improve myself. That's actually the good part about it.

I will use this opportunity to greet the new members of YaoiOtaku Translation Team and express my thanks

for their hard work. Of course, that is valid for the seniors as well.

It's so good to work with each single one of them! Thank you guys for putting your best into what you do!

Either I have megane fetish or they suit him. Or both. As you probably know, in case you stalk our 'Running Processes' thread, next project we're to release is 'Aikata no Aishikata'. The story is touching and with a bit of angst feeling, like most of Kou-sensei' works. I even have some favorite lines there, LOL!

 

I must admit though there is something very catching when the uke is pissed off. Or probably because I am more on the seme side and can sense it, but seriously... I find angry/pissed off uke's for cute than the general idea of 'cute uke'. Probably I am odd .___.'

 

Because it is 'oneshot', I don't really have anything to say on it since ' will start spoiling ;D

I just finished the translation of first chapter!

Psh. Between us, it was one hell of a chapter. ❣⃛ (ღ˘⌣˘)❛ั◡❛ัღ)ෆ⃛ෆ⃛

The funny part I had while translating..I got to know one new slang/term!

ATTENTION PLEASE.

 

「カウパー」 (Kaupaa). Which made no sense to me although I got the main meaning.

And since I tried looking up, all that resulted led to 'Cowper'.

And now. I went with rolled sleeves to look it up in Japanese sites.

 

MUST. NOT. DO. THAT. AGAIN.

I opened 18+ site. My reaction ->

oh..༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽..it means 'gland' ... of course it means gland, heheheh-he.. >_>
