"Born Confused" by Tanuja Desai Hidier

I really loved and enjoyed this book because it connected with me on a number of levels. I was a bit of a minority, proud of my culture, yet wanting to shy away. But in this book, the descriptions of everything are exquisite; the feelings of the character- Dimple Lala- are well illustrated, and it's just a very beautiful book.

  • Good descriptions
  • Fun characters
  • Relatable Issues
  • In-depth look at cultures

"Monster Blood Tattoo" Series by D.M. Cornish

Just a beautiful series in the Fantasy Genre that details the life of a boy named Rossamund. It deals with the tale of growing up, and realizing who you are and sometimes, the bitter truths of endings of things. Really immersive- and comes with a thick appendix and glossary at the end of each book!

  • Extremely detailed
  • Greatly immersive
  • Wild range and cast of interesting characters
  • Amazing tales
  • Great appendix and information
  • Amazing sketches of characters and concept-art!

"Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Brontë

I physically cannot begin to tell you how much I love this book. The characters, themes, and it's a Gothic romance-mystery. Ah.. Beautiful book.

I have favourite books too! I like to read fantasy/paranormal romances.

Fantasy series I love

The Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind is an awesome series I've read over and over (and it got made into a tv series called Legend of the Seeker)

Furies of Calderian series by Jim Butcher about elementals being controlled by humans and a little boy named Tavi and how he grows up over 7 novels is great and exciting

The Belgarion series by David Eddings and its sequel, were awesome!! The conversations and actions taken on quests made me wish I was part of it too ^^

The Corean Chronicles series by L. E. Modesitt Jr. were well paced, action and fantasy spun that i never get bored of reading them :)

Paranormal romances that are my favourites

Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon about Greek myths come to live in modern day New Orleans, USA, very hot, steamy and thrilling

Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Series is scary, mysterious and real; details of police work and guns mixed with fictional vampires and necromancers, i love it!!

Psy-changelling series by Nalini Singh about humans with psychic powers and shape shifters warring and falling in love with each other is as good as Dark Hunter series

Night World series by LJSmith about teen vamps falling in love with witches and humans

Vampire Academy by Rochelle Mead, about vampires in boarding school :)

Hope you guys like these series too ^^

I have some, but I can't remember them well because I have a lousy brain

1. Lord of The Rings

2. Sherlock Holmes

3. History of Supernaturals, a book which I found only in my university's library. It's about the history of myths, religions, ceremonies, etc. I read it once, had not finished it yet, but somehow I lost this book

This one is so hard, since I love to read. But I'll give a few of my favorites:

The Harry Potter series (disappointed with the Epilogue though)

Absolutely anything by Edgar Allen Poe

Anything from Stephen King

Hiroshima by John Hersey (An absolute MUST read for anyone in my opinion)

Call of the Wild by Jack London

H.P. Lovecraft is a favorite, by there are some stories I like better than others.

The Interview with the Vampire series by Anne Rice

This is going to sound horrible but I dislike most female authors. J.K. Rowling and Anne Rice is the only exception to this rule.
