Food and clothes are to be proved along with his cover fee for entertainment and bonus for any extra time and special requests.” The man added with a small chuckle watching as Yukie sighed. “It’s a dear friend of mine, his grandfather is turning 80 and wants live music. He’s been looking around and well no one compares to your beauty on stage and singing.” The man added almost begging Yukie.

”...my rules still stand for all events. But I get to take a plus one now” Yukie added as he looked at Tiernan not bothered by the extra work since he actually liked both crafts. “When is it?” Yukie asked raising a brow.

”well...it’s tonight, specifically in four hours. I’m here for a gift for the old man. Granted a lot of investors want to meet you and due to your title...” the man added only to be stopped by Yukie who held up a finger. 

“Give the place and information to Tiernan. Also, you’ll provide two suits my usual and my mates size” Yukie added with a huff as he slipped off going to the counter so he could run off to the bathroom his bladder breaking from the amount of soda he drank.

”well then. Seeing your his new agent maybe we can talk about boosting Yukies career. He’s never really seemed to go into his birthright. Granted there’s so issues taking the chair of it but maybe you can convince him to step up and be proud of who he is” the man asked as he looked at Tiernan willing to work with him just as much as Yukie.

Tiernan frowned for most part of the conversation. When Yukie excused himself for the toilet, he stayed to talk to the other man. "What birthright?" He asked, wondering if he understood what the man was talking about. If it was about Yukie's forms, he already knew what he was going to do. As Yukie's mate, he would support Yukie and encourage him to be whatever he was comfortable with. "About tonight, I have a request," he said to the man. "Yukie is...he's in a special condition right now. He may be easily tired or slightly fatique, so when that happens, I want him to take a rest," he told the other guy without exposing that Yukie was actually pregnant. That was not other people's business. "And Yukie might not be comfortable having so many people surround him at once, so please tell them to give him some space as well. I might take matters in my own hand if they're not behaving." Tiernan gave a friendly warning.

“Well Yukies unique bloodline...does put him in a place of royalty I mean once everyone found out who he was. Well, surely he told you about who he was and how the others where created. Listening to Tiernan’s request the man nodded. “I assure you he will be treated beautifully his admirers wouldn’t dare put his health under any stress.” The man added talking about Yukie as if he was well so much higher up.

Yukie never mentioned about the royalty or the stakes in any company. But that was understandable because they had only known each other for a few days. A quarter of it was spent in bed, so there must be parts of Yukie that Tiernan still didn’t know about. But that didn’t mean he wanted this guy to know about that and be smug over it. “Yukie prefers living modestly. He hates the attention.” Tiernan mentioned what he did know about his mate. “I think that’s fine. He do what he likes and I encourage any activites that makes him happy as long as his health and well being is being kept as priorities. I may be hired as his agent, but I’m also his mate, so he’s mine to care about.” He said a matter of factly. “Anyway, it’s nice to meet you. You can text Yukie all the information needed. Excuse me while I go find my mate. See you tonight.” He bid the man farewell and went to the toilet wondering what took Yukie so long.

Washing his hands Yukie took his time before coming back out. Noticing Tiernan by the door. “Oh! Sorry did I take to long?” Yukie asked as he looked up at his mate. “Never thought one soda would make me pee so much” Yukie admitted with a little laugh his hand taking Tiernan’s.

“Yes, for a second there I thought you leafy me with that guy on purpose. Is there anything that I should know that you forgot to tell?” Tiernan asked, wondering if Yukie was eluding. He didn’t really care about the facts, but he wanted Yukie to be comfortable enough to share his stories with him. “Also, I could get my own suit, you didn’t have to make him get it for me,” he told Yukie. He hadn’t worn a suit in a long time, but he could get one. Normally he’d wear his Marines suit to normal functions, but now he’d retired, it was time to get used to a new wardrobe.

“No I didn’t plan on leaving you with him on purpose and I doubt you own a decent suit for this gathering” Yukie replied with a small frown. Mulling over  Tiernan’s question the demon frowned even more knowing that his acquaintance was bragging about him again. “There where a few things I failed to mention. Granted I like living a more quiet life so I tend to avoid people as you know” Yukie explained knowing Tiernan had already been briefed on why Yukie hated crowds and new places. Looking over at his mate Yukie sighed a little knowing his past was a touch crazy with the new things he had read over in the file with the police.

 

“I have a very high up status. Due to where I came from and my bloodline I’m rather ‘famous’ Yukie admitted rolling his eyes with a small huff at the thought. Moving Yukie went  over to a more secluded table to look at items while they talked. “I’m kinda a mix of things records show I’m pretty old like an old prince old. I guess living back then I had no heirs and was known back then for what I can do demon wise. I’ve found books and painting of me all sharing similar looks.” Yukie explained with a small look to Tiernan. “So because of these small pieces of info well I dug into the story  more and questioned my supposed ‘father’.  Turns out among his crimes he stole a corpse...or technically my older body. The madman brought my body back to a ‘living’ state and  to life and here I am two hundred years later. I have very very faint memories of  my life before waking up but when I woke up he had to fix me up because my body had resorted to aging back to survive better when stored in my resting place. Since my body can’t die if it gets to damaged...it sleeps like hibernation. I did it when I got hurt from the bullet for awhile” Yukie explained while setting down a small pair of socks. “Bottom line because of my history of where I came from and being a demon prince some people take it literally. Doesn’t help I was smart and grew my wealth over the last year to help out with living expenses for everyone” Yukie admitted with a frown.

Yukie’s explanation sounded complicated, but Tiernan tried to comprehend as much as he could. “But you were found as a baby?” He asked. “How did they put you into this ancient body?” He frowned.

“Well they didn’t put me in it. It’s kinda like a regeneration thing. When my body get to worn down or hurt it kinda...burns and I’m reborn. Like a Phoenix, but it only happens if I can’t repair myself or I’m poisoned. Granted I can change what age I came back as but I think I was just not wanting to come back down older I mean I liked having a mom. I loved being raised by Yue and Yuen. Course I picked and chose what I wanted to skip” Yukie admitted with a shrug knowing that when it came down to it his body chose based on his environment. “I was reborn in a nursery. Hence why I chose to be born younger, also added benefits of new cells.” Yukie explained as he raised a brow at Tiernan. “Because of this I can’t donate blood or organs despite them healing and growing back. They either die quickly in the recipient...or they corrupt the recipient and they slowly go mad. Mum was a good example of what goes wrong if a vampire would ever feed from me” Yukie explained before turning and looking at Tiernan fully.

“Okay, let’s not do the poison or getting injuries you can’t heal from now on, okay. I want to keep you this was and now that you’re pregnant, we’re not going to risk any of that,” Tiernan said, making a decision that he couldn’t keep for sure but will work hard for it.   He saw some cute caps with wolf ears and threw them into their basket. “So, you’re ancient,” he said, teasing his mate’s actual age. “Maybe you’re more experienced in your previous life?” He asked, wondering if Yukie had other mates before him.

He didn’t want to be frisked at the front door and denied entry because he has a weapon for protection that no one knew about.

“They will be at the house waiting for us. He’s arranged a car to pick us up.” Yukie added following Tiernan to the cashiers counter. “I’ll message him now” Yukie replied as he pulled out his phone and got to work messaging the man. Sending the messages he put away his phone just as their order was ringing up Yukie handing the cashier a very shiny credit card from his pocket. “Please make sure I get two receipts” Yukie asked keeping great track of his finances.

Tiernan sighed as Yukie paid. He knew he shouldn’t be biased, but he was taught bery differently than Yukie. “You know, I need to get used to letting you do things independently,” he said, picking up all the items and made their way to the indoor parking space. “I’ve always had this mindset that I should provide for my family, even though my partner can so the same.” He wanted to be the guy who took care of his family in all ways possible. “I like spending my money on you.”

“I won’t stop you if you insist but at least let me have a couple of chances to pay or let me raise your salary. My money just sits around” Yukie admitted as they walked back to the parking garage. “So, question do you know how to do hair?” Yukie asked wondering if he should cut his long hair before his outing or try to do it up in a fancy hairstyle.

“The publishing company pays my salary, so I don’t need you to do that,” Tiernan said. He earned well enough and he had enough sabings from when he was in the Marines, so he could live comfortably if he wanted to. “I have nieces, so I know a teick or two,” he told Yukie, winking. He could manage a simple braid, a little twists and chignon if Yukie preferred. “How do your like to wear your hair? Up or down?” He asked as he drove them home.

“Well I like wearing it in a braid most days but since it’s so long it’s tiresome to do myself” Yukie admitted touching his long locks of hair. Blushing at the thought of Tiernan brushing and doing his hair Yukie tucked the long strand away. “I can’t decided between wearing it down or wearing it up. “Then let’s do both,” Tiernan said, finally parked in the garage. “But don’t expect something flawless or extravagant. I don’t exactly have a graceful touch when it comes to doing hair. I’ve only done it a handful of times for my nieces.” He warned beforehand. Tiernan thought he had decent skill, but he thought a disclaimer wouldn’t hurt. “Ehat time is your friend sending us the suits?” He asked as he led Yukie though the door leading to the kitchen and switched on the lights. “Do we habe enough time for a quick shower?”

“He should be here in a half an hour. Party starts at seven.” Yukie  explained as he sighed feeling so much more relaxed once home. “Want to shower together?” Yukie asked with a raised brow. “We do have some time to kill~” Yukie whispered already stripping and heading to the bathroom to start the hot water. Stepping into the steamy water Yukie sighed at the hot water rushing down his skin.

Tiernan undressed and followed Yukie under the hot shower. “We didn’t buy your bath products,” he said, taking the loofah and pumped the shower gel onto it.
