“We’ll if we stayed indoors for a few days then it will start smelling like us,” said Tiernan. “It’s not like I can mark the territory like a dog,” he huffed, splashing the water around in the bathtub. He thought a little about Yukie’s nesting and he remembered something that might work. “We have a big walk-in closet. My clothes are all in there, I think it would smell the most of me. Do you think it’s a good place for nesting?” He asked. It’s a stupid suggestion but the walk-in closet was really comfortable, even Tiernan wouldn’t mind sleeping in there.

“Maybe...I would have to make some changes to it maybe add more pillows and blankets” Yukie admitted with a small blush as he looked at Tiernan. “A den like closet should be perfect for us. Warm,comfy...and a touch dark” Yukie added with a small happy sigh at the thought  of such a place his body instantly relaxing.

“I’ll help you with it,” Tiernan smiled happily. “Yuen said you need c-section. Means you probably need to go to the hospital first, right?” Tiernan rembered what the doctor said and his smiling face turned worried. “You should have three more months at least but you looked ready to go anytime.” He rubbed Yukie’s stomach felt the movements there. They were strong, no wonder Yukie had bruises.

“Well they are half me they might change forms and size” Yukie admitted as he winced at the one that kicked back at Tiernan’s hand trying to stretch out. “Giving natural birth is something I don’t want it seems to scary” Yukie explained as he looked up at Tiernan. “Honestly...I’m terrified of the c section also” Yukie whispered while snuggling a touch more into his mates arms.

"Both sounds so scary," Tiernan had to agree. He never thought the pregnancy would be so tough on Yukie. And they were going to have three children at one time and that must cause Yukie a big stress. "Can you communicate with them?" Tiernan asked. "Since you're the parent who carries them, perhaps you have some kind of telepathic connection..? If you do, is it possible to communicate with them and ease them up a little?" He wondered if their children would be more manageable if Yukie start his parenting while the kids were in his womb. It could be nothing, or it could be something but it was worth a try.

“Mmh they are trouble makers and try but I can’t blame them there isn’t much space to move unless I’m in a bigger form.” Yukie explained as he sighed a touch. “My wolf and centaur form is a lot better for them but I’m not exactly skilled with hooves on tile or wooden floors yet and well my wolf form is a little...feral. Spending the time I did with the wolf demons got me in touch with my feral roots” Yukie replied having much enjoyed his time in the forest hunting and play fighting. “I do give them break in other forms while I sleep as best as I can but it’s hard if I accidentally change into a smaller form like my chinchilla form I might break the water sac or they might break me” Yukie finished with a tiered sigh his hand rubbing softly on his stomach the babies moving to match the gentle touch as Yukie carefully rubbed their backs.

Tiernan went silent for a while so he could think about other options he could suggest his mate. "What about your mer form?" He asked Yukie. It wasn't any bigger, but aquatic beings normally carry many eggs, and while Yukie were not carrying eggs, he might be more susceptible to carrying such active children in his mer form. "It's spring now, so the it wasn't as cool as in winter. We have heated pool that's bigger than a bathtub. Do you want to try spending some time in there?" Tiernan asked, wondering if he was being helpful.

“That would be nice. Though I would need an area with plants. And someplace to seek shade from.” Yukie added mulling over the idea of being back in the water. “I spent time with the mermaids...out of all the births I learned about for demons there’s where more easy and safer as long as they didn’t bleed a lot.” Yukie explained starting to think how much easier it would be for him to move around and relax. “Would you come visit me?” Yukie asked softly looking at Tiernan now worried he wouldn’t get to see his mate a lot.

"Honey, our pool is only in the backyard," Tiernan told him. "I can get move around some potted plants and canopy to give you a shady area, but will that be good enough? This is just a suggestion, but if you're not comfortable with it. I just want you to stay here and consider about the c-section Yuen talked about." Tiernan told Yukie. Having his mate nesting in their walk-in closet sounds much safer than other options, if they didn't count about Yukie's risk with the babies. "Makes me wonder if this would be our last time..." he trailed, feeling a little hopeless. He didn't want to make Yukie pregnant again in the future if this was the outcome.

“Well...it won’t be our last time. From what I remember when there where others like me is that the first pregnancy was the hardest. Back then they didn’t have c sections or hospitals so if something went wrong the one with child usually died.” Yukie explained with a frown as he cuddled more next to Tiernan. “It’s why our population started dying out until it was just me. Though! If they did survive childbirth they went on to have easier safer births. Once my body learns what to do it will be easier next time.” Yukie reassured his mate gently petting his hand. “We will have more. And it will be much easier to get knocked up and give birth” Yukie added as he turned and wrapped his arms around his mate as best as he could trying very hard to give him a hug despite the giant bump between them. “For now let’s just focus on building a nest for after the birth. And well...we can pick a date to have them” Yukie added knowing he was ready for a c section at any time.

"That sounds...comforting," Tiernan was somehow comforted by Yukie's statement. He still had his worries, but Yukie owned his own body, so Tiernan will let him decide what was best for himself. Although, he wouldn't hesitate if he thought it could be life threatening. He would prefer to have his mate the longest he possibly could. "I think that's enough soaking for now. My skin is all pruny," He showed Yukie his fingers. "Maybe I could help you with that nest and we can cuddle in there...so my scent would be stronger?" Tiernan smiled at Yukie. He wanted to hold his mate and fall asleep together

“That would be nice. Sleeping comfortably in our nest” Yukie mumbled as he smiled at the thought and with a touch of extra effort got himself out of the bath. “You’ll have to gather all of the pillows in the house” Yukie added with a smirk.

"That can be arranged," Tiernan smiled and helped Yukie out of the bath tub safely. He grabbed the towels and handed one to Yukie. "Do you need help?" he asked, grinning because it was just another excuse to touch his mate. He saw some movement on his mate's stomach and went ahead to touch the bump. "Are they excited to have me around or are they telling me to back off?" He asked, cautiously tracing the movement of the babies.

“They are excited. To have you back and because your blood smells good to them.” Yukie replied with a small chuckle. “It’s normal for my body to want every bit of you from your touch and blood down to more...primal desires” Yukie added with a small blush as he relaxed under his mates touch amused by how much the babies adored Tiernan’s voice and touch. “They like your voice the most. Helps them sleep” Yukie added with a soft smile enjoying the babies thoughts.

“How much blood do you need?” Tiernan asked. He wouldnt mind if Yukie wanted some of his blood. As long as he wont take a lot that would harm Tiernan, he was okay with it. “You can take some of mine, you know.” He said and wuickly dried himself. “Lets go check that closet. The more we nest up, the faster we can do...things,” he grinned slyly. “I’m no demon but I do have primal urges too.”

“Oh I won’t ever drink from you...while I have my urges under control to a certain point to view you as food in any form could be dangerous” Yukie explained as he dried off trying to keep from imagining what his mates blood would taste like. “Besides we don’t need to give the kids a reason to want to chew on your fingers or arms” Yukie added with a chuckle as he lead the way to the closet following the faint smell of his mates clothes from when they where brought into the house.

"Hmm...I guess I have this misconception that my mate drinking my blood is kinda... euphoric? I guess that's too much fiction for me," he said, shrugging off the idea. He thought it was normal for mates to give a little blood, maybe it could strengthen their bond somehow, but if Yukie didn't need it, Tiernan wasn't going to push it. Tiernan helped moved around the ottoman in the walk-in closet to make room for Yukie's nest. "I'll go get some quilt and pillows and comforter. You can choose one or two of my clothes if you like." He grinned, knowing how Yukie liked sleeping while holding his clothes.

“Oh it would be. It would be painless and you might get a nice venom high until I stopped” Yukie added with a chuckle. “After birth I will take some of your really wanting me to” Yukie finished before going back into their room. Watching as his mate moved the ottoman it made a small entrance to the floor of the closet that he could slip in. Watching his mate leave to gather more blankets and pillows Yukie touched a shirt and snuggled it tightly in his arms enjoying the scent. Within ten minutes later Yukie had pulled all of Tiernan’s clothes from shirts down to pairs of socks now undone and strewn across the floor. Added into this was their blankets and pillows from the bed and the end result was almost a mountain of clothes that Yukie just was snuggled down in his head only peeking out and resting on a pillow.

Tiernan returned some five minutes later with two heavy comforter, two pillows and a bolster, two quilts and a blanket so Yukie could build his nest. When he stood in front of the walk-in closet, Tiernan stopped and dropped all items when he saw the clothes pile Yukie had gathered for the neat. “Do you expect me to go naked from now on?” Tiernan frowned but chuckled when he saw only Yukie’s head popped out from under the fabric mountain. “Can we at least save me a few sets of clothes so I could go out and be a respectable human rather than a naked caveman? I can’t exactly borrow your clothes.” He pushed the bundles he brought with him to top up to the nest and started picking up some clothes to hang up again.

“Mmh you can wear a nice frilly apron” Yukie replied pointing to the only piece of clothing he had left for his mate on the ottoman. “The rest are mine.” Yukie added before adding a pair of boxer shorts to the apron. Moving things around Yukie snuggled down under all the fluffy and mate smelling items in the house.

Tiernan shook his head bemusedly but joined Yukie on the comfortable pile. "Can'y wear an apron to work. Maybe I should start shopping for clothes online," he pulled Yukie close to him and wrapped his arms around the baby bump. "Is this cozy enough for you? It's pretty warm in here. I can get a cooler inside if it gets warm." He offered. It was already spring, not too cold and not too hot, so it might be just the right temperature for Yukie's nest.

“You buy any new clothes and your going to strip them off the second you get home” Yukie mumbled already sleepy. Snuggling into the cozy nest even more Yukie yawned cutely. “It’s prefect! Nice and dark, and very warm. It makes me feel safe and comfy” Yukie admitted as he smiled happily.

Tiernan chuckled at Yukie’s reaction. “I’d have to strip before I walk past the threahold then. That way I could keep my clothes in the car and come home naked,” he said half joking. He pressed kisses along Yukie’s face and neck as his mate was getting comfortable. I hope the babies are loving the nest as well.” He murmured in Yukie’s ear.

“They settled down to sleep. They love it just as much as I do” Yukie mumbled half awake as he snuggled more into his mates shirt. “I’m tiered” Yukie mumbled softly with a heavy sigh before falling asleep his body out cold for the night due to travel exhaustion.

Tiernan planted a last kiss on Yukie’s temple and pulled the blanket over then. “I’ll be here when you wake up.” He whispered and closed his own eyes. It was the first night he spent in their new home, Tiernan’s senses were working overtime. He focused on the soft breath of Yukie while he registered every other sound he could hear around them. He picked up on Yukie’s breaths again and his heart felt calm. The calmest he had been in months. He fell asleep a couple of hours later.
