Yukie sleeping more peacefully then he ever had in his months away snuggled closer to Tiernan his body tangling beside his mate. Snuggling his face in his lovers chest he only woke at the sudden urge to get up and use the bathroom great full there was one close to them. Rubbing a tiered eye Yukie washed his hands before looking down at the three children inside of him. Going back to Tiernan he gently nudged him. “Tiernan?” Yukie whispered softly wanting his mate to wake up despite the sun just rising over the hills.

Tiernan stretched on the mountain of soft things and reached for Yukie, but his mate  wasn’t there. He opened his eyes abruptly and immediately caught Yukie standing nearby. “You almost gave me a heart attack,” he said after his heartbeat calmed down. He thought he woke up to another nightmare where Yukie was gone. “Good morning. Would you like something to eat?” He sat up and asked his mate. The sun was rising, so no reason to stay in bed without his mate.

“They want out...” Yukie whispered his voice soft but also a touch scared as he looked at his mate. “They told me just bearly they wanted out and I feel weird” Yukie added a touch scared at the false labor his body was experiencing since the triplets where demanding to have more space.

Tiernan stood up abruply that he almost tumbled back down when his feet were tangled in the sheets. “Ok, what should we do? Do we go to Yuen or do we call him here? Wait, can he do the c-sec here?” Tiernan fumbled around and looked for his phone. “You should not be standing up. Cime here and sit,” he slowly guided Yukie to the ottoman that he had pushed to one corner of the walk-in closet. “Yuen’s not picking up. We should go to the hospital. He should be there.”

“Easy. Easy.” Yukie replied gently feeling the babies kick and move as Yukie calmed them as best as he could. “I can call another doctor if Yuen isn’t answering he’s probably out on call or in surgery” Yukie whispered already terrified of the fact that the babies where already trying to get out. Having sat down with his mates help Yukie frowned at the thought of going to a hospital. “No hospital...we can just have them at home...I have a birthing bag in case something like this happened.” Yukie mumbled as he flinched at the sudden first contraction.

Tiernan took a deep breath and tried to clam down. "Okay, do you want to lie down in the nest?" He got up, puffing up all the pillows and comforters so it would be more comfortable for Yukie if he wanted to stay in there. "I'll call their house and see if they know where Yuen is," he said, dialing Yukie's adoptive parents' phone number. The line connected and Tiernan talked to Yue. After a quick explanation, he hung up and looked at Yukie. "Yue will be on his way. He went to get his equipment at the hospital and will head straight here. Do you need something in the meantime?" Tiernan asked, wanting to make Yukie feel better.

“Just some water.” Yukie replied as he settled down into the nest his body trying to relax alongside the contractions. Ten minutes later Yuen came into the room carrying his duffel bag and a second bag with sanitary supplies.

”seems they are excited to come out?” Yuen asked looking at Tiernan for information on how Yukie was progressing.

Tiernan brought a couple bottles of water in case Yukie would feel thirsty later. He was glad Yuen was there to assist Yukie. Tiernan somehow felt useless at a time like this. He could handle crises, but helping his demon mate deliver three half-demon babies was not in his set of skills. "As you can see, Yukie looks normal, other than that rapid movement in his stomach," Tiernan gesturned at Yukie. "We made his nest, he's comfortable in there. Do we need to move to the bed?" he looked at Yuen for advice.

“In here’s fine I want him comfortable” Yuen added as he knelt down beside Yukies stomach and settled his ear against it listening to the strong heartbeats. “Looking at size and current stress...and the fact bedrest isn’t helping I think it’s best we have the babies now. Problem being how do we proceed. While I can offer a c section birth might start if we move him to much to get him to a hospital. We might also run the risk of the babies trying to fight for space and tangling the others or worse. I have two good options......I can heavily sedate him and wait it out see if the babies calm down. Or.......I can induce and Yukie can try to deliver them naturally” Yuen finished as he looked at Tiernan while gently feeling the children stretch and move knowing one wrong move could be difficult going forward for Yukie.

"Oh god, why would you look at me for? It's Yuki'e body," Tiernan said, his pitch was a little high from the nerves. "I mean, I want Yukie to choose something that he's comfortable with." Tiernan looked at his mate. "If you think you prefer the c-section, we need to do it now and sedate you, but if you think...you can deliver them and your life wont be threatened, then let's do that. Any way, I would be right next to you." He told Yukie, channeling the confidence he had in his mate. Tiernan would stand by the choice his mate will decide for his body and their babies.

“....I don’t want to be sedated...there’s to many risks” Yukie whispered as he looked at Yuen and frowned a little. “I feel I can try to give birth.” Yukie added as he looked at Yuen who nodded and turned to Tiernan. 
 

“I need hot boiled water. Towels and some sweetened tea.” Yuen replied to Tiernan as he got up and started arranging and prepping the nest laying a thick comforter down for any mess they might have. “No one is allowed in the house so kick anyone else that’s in the house out and lock the doors. We don’t need Yukie smelling anyone but us or worrying who’s here” Yuen added as he helped Yukie down onto the closet floor and administer a small shot that would quickly induce labor for his body and start the process.

"No one is in the house except for the two guards at the gate post. That's a mile away, so I think they're fine," Tiernan said as he prepared everything Yuen asked him. He came back minutes later and moved close to Yukie and held his hand. "Tell me how else can I help?" he looked at Yuen while pushing away Yukie's dampened hair from his forehead. "How can I make this easier for you, love?" he whispered to his mate and kissed his temple lovingly.

“Tell me something you want to do since it’s almost summer” Yukie asked letting out a low groan as Yuen started his work administering some drugs to help numb Yukie so he wouldn’t move when the real pain started. “Personally I wanted to go swimming on a beach” Yukie admitted taking in a deep breath as his body started heavier contractions.

”your doing good...just keep talking” Yuen whispered taking out his tools in case he needed to cut into Yukie.

Tiernan took a calming breath so he could keep Yukie's attention on him instead of the pain. "I want to go to the beach and have a little picnic. The little ones won't be able to swim yet, but we could spread a sheet on the sand and take their photos or something," Tiernan said, stroking Yukie's hair as he went on. "Or we could go to a park, see come dogs playing catch with their humans. The weather would be nice and warm." He told Yukie. He glanced at the doctor from time to time to see if there was any reaction. "We could also have a barbecue party out back. I can set up the grill and you can swim in the pool. We can invite our friends and family to join if you want."

“Ha! The twins would hate the heat but love to play in the pool” Yukie added with a small laugh wincing as he gripped at the blankets his body tensing.

”easy, your body is doing fine” Yuen whispered moving his hands as he small whine was heard and he started cleaning airways until the chinchilla child started screaming as it cried filling its lungs with air. Wrapping the baby in a towel Yuen carefully set the infant in Tiernan’s lap more focused on the next child.

“Oh lord,” Tiernan gasped at the bundle that was placed on his lap. He released Yukie’s hand for a moment so he could cradle his first child to his chest. “My sweet child,” he crooned as he traced the shape of the chinchilla ear, and down to the human nose. “Lovely like the birth parent,” he smiled with tears in his eyes, turning to show Yukie the first of the three babies.

“Not as small or scary looking as I thought I was” Yukie mumbled as he nuzzled into Tiernan’s lap a touch his body already so tiered.

”we need to give him a few moments to get some energy.” Yuen added as he moved Yukie to a better sitting position so he could drink something sweet. “You doing very very good.” Yuen added softly praising Yukie who nodded a little and slowly sipped his tea trying to save some of his strength for the other two to safely come out. “I’m going to have the others taken out by c section...they are going to stay with Tiernan and Yue while I take you to the hospital to get stitched up and some extra blood in you” Yuen explained to both Yukie and Tiernan. “Yue is going to show Tiernan everything he needs to know to keep them warm and safe until you come back” Yuen promised as Yukie nodded clearly suffering a touch from how much effort this was. “Just rest and drink your tea and after you finish it we can start” Yuen reassured Yukie cleaning up the first towel that had to much blood on it for Yuens liking humming softly Yuen gave Yukie a couple of injections and then texted Yue to come help.

"Can't I take this one to the hospital so we could stay together?" Tiernan asked, alarmed that they were going to be separated. "The baby needs Yukie, and I would rather be by my mate's side while he's delivering our babies. Besides, won't this one need medical attention as well." He turned to Yuen, not really understanding why they needed to be apart. "I'm the father, so I think I should be there for my babies while Yukie is recuperating from childbirth. Yuen can help me in the hospital. I'd rather be close to Yukie and our babies need him as well after he's strong enough to deal with them," Tiernan said adamantly.

“I’m not going to a damn hospital.” Yukie snapped at them both not liking the discussion. “Besides I’m giving birth...I should have a say” Yukie mumbled with a huff as his eyes hit over to the door where Yue was.

”Yuen. Yukie has the final choice. He won’t die from loss of blood...he will just need to eat more and drink more fluids” Yuen reassured her husband knowing he was overly worried about Yukie. “Now then. Tiernan you can hold Yukies hand and keep him calm while the other two finish up. And I’ll hold this precious angel.” She offered holding out her hands so she could hold the child on the ottoman and out of the way.

Tiernan nodded and stayed close to Yukie. “Would it help if I sit behind you, support your upper body?” Tiernan asked, wanting to make Yukie more comfortable. He was already stroking Yukie’s neck and head, wanting to keep him calm. “I’m sorry tou’re in a lot of pain, Tiernan said softly. It hurt him to see his mate struggling to give birth of their babies.

“That would be nice. It would help a lot” Yukie whispered his voice shaking as he breathed out and in slowly focusing on his mates hands on his neck and head. “It’s not the pain....it’s the panic of behaving enough not to run away or bite the hands that are helping me” Yukie explained with a small groan as Yuen gently patted his leg the second baby being born and already screaming loudly.

Tiernan moved Yukie so he would leaned forward a bit, then he moved behind his mate so Yukie could rest his back against his chest. "Better?" Tiernan wiped Yukie's forehead with a damp towel and did all he could to make Yukie feel comfortable. Yuen handed the second baby to Yue so he could cut the cord and returned back to Yukie to focus on the last baby. "Just one more, honey." Tiernan kissed his head. He wanted to hold the babies so much, but he wanted to stay close to Yukie until the end. "You're doing wonderful. Our babies are beautiful like you," said Tiernan from what he could see from where he was from.

“Mmhmm” Yukie mumbled as he rested against his mate his body exhausted and trembling.

”alright...let’s just let him rest for a moment” Yuen replied as he looked at Tiernan carefully adjusting Yukies body and cleaning up what mess he could as he covered Yukie with a blanket. “Last one is in a difficult position so I’m going to see if I can move it around.” Yuen explained gently his hands carefully guiding the baby into a better position. “At this point Yukies to tiered to really do anything else.” Yuen explained to Tiernan and more so to himself mumbling a lot as he worked and watched the last baby slip out and worked on cleaning it up until it cried just like the others. “All good and healthy” Yuen whispered focusing his attention on stopping the bleeding from Yukie and once he had finished that and administered more medicine he looked to Tiernan. “I’m going to clean up the bedding I laid down for this. I need you to move Yukie very very carefully.” Tiernan asked as he looked at Yukie who was so out of it. “He’s not going to accept anyone but you and the pups near him right now” Yuen explained with a small smile.

Tiernan could only nod as a reply to Yuen. He was overwhelmed from Yukie finally delivering all three healthy babies and at the same time worried of his mate’s condition. He moved Yukie gently on the cleaned surface, surrounded by the soft bedding and blankets in the neat they built. “Will he be alright?” He asked Yuen when he noticed the spread that was removed was soaked with blood. “Was it normal for him to bleed that much?” Tiernan asked, his hands kept holding onto his mate protectively. Yue handed him the babies one by one so they could be close to their parents.

“This is a little more then expected but with three babies and the placenta I’m not to worried” Yuen reassured Tiernan. “He’s going to be rather exhausted for a bit and might just sleep for awhile” Yuen explained as he smiled softly at the sight of his first grand babies.

”mnnngh.” Yukie mumbled as he sat up a little from Tiernan’s arms looking around groggily. “Babies...” Yukie mumbled as he snuggled next to the three babies that had been dressed and cleaned up by Yue. Sighing happily Yukie relaxed compleatky and snuggled down ready for a well deserved nap.

”I’d take this time to do whatever you need for the next three days. Weather that’s stocking the fridge or anything else my advice would be to not move Yukie for two weeks...but knowing him I can restrict it to three days.” Yuen explained as he packed up his supplies. “If his bleeding continues and worsens call me.” Yuen added as he sighed and sat down on the ottoman exhausted also.
