"You're a midget and you know it," added while he was changing Sky's Diaper. "Say, Rowan, do you have children of your own?" he asked, curious. "I'm sorry if its a sensitive question, I never expected Yukie and I will have babies this soon."

Tiernan heard footsteps then seconds later, Aidan's face appeared at the door. "Can I see my nephews and niece now?" he said, cautiously approaching them. Since Rowan was there, he assumed it was okay to join in as well.

"Just come in. Yukie's in better mood now," Tiernan said, which stemmed from Yukie's permission to allow Aidan and Connor to look at the babies. "How's the nursery going? I was planning for Yukie to do the painting on the wall, but maybe that will have to wait until later."

“I have about five sons now all different ages. I think my youngest is about Yukies age” Rowan added pulling out a tablet and with a click of the lock button showed Tiernan the family photos in the digital album he kept. Turning around Rowan looked at the two humans before him and raised a brow. “Family I assume?” He asked moving out of the way and more to a corner of the room to keep out of the way as he held the baby a touch closer while moving around and sitting back down.

”wash your hands first.” Yukie demanded with his brother in laws as he looked at Rowan.

”easy! I used hand sanitizer you should still be smelling it...I used it before picking up meds and before entering the room I listened to Yuens concerns.” Rownan added with a slightly scared look not wanting to go against Yukies rules. “I’m not stupid enough to mess around with germs you need three days to get your immune system back in order by Yuens orders no one is allowed to touch the babies or your room without washing” Rownan finished as he looked at the two men hoping they would eagerly set Yukie at ease.

"We just washed our hands as well. We brought the paint for the nursery, so we cleaned our hands before coming here," Aidan brought his hands up, showing that his hands were indeed clean. They were really careful not to put Yukie on edge especially with the babies around.

Tiernan went to sit beside Yukie and put Sky down. "Would you cut that out, please? Rowan had five kids of his own and Aidan and Connor had a baby too. They're more experienced in this than us, so don't be too hard on them. They're only here to help." Tiernan said, his voice was gentle, yet his words were firm. "Here, Aidan. You can take Sky while I burp Star. They all had just been fed," he told his youngest brother who approach with caution. "While you're at it, maybe you can change his diapers too," Tiernan chuckled. 

"Oh, your babies are super cute, but I've already had done my diaper duty,, so you should get used to it, mister." Aidan held Sky in his arms and started rubbing his back. He was such a natural at taking care of babies. "How are you feeling, Yukie? I'm so happy to see all of you are doing fine." Aidan smiled at the demon.

“Your not the one with a shit immune system right now. Even a simple cold could hit my system harder then normal and keep me sick in bed for months!” Yukie replied with a huff glaring at Tiernan. “Keep in mind it hasn’t even been a day since I gave birth I do need time to bounce back health wise but I’m entertaining guests instead of sleeping and having a lot of people in our home.” Yukie snapped trying to keep his temper his fangs showing as he turned away and sat on the edge of the bed away from Tiernan leaving their baby for his mate to watch.

”go outside. Take a moment to cool down.” Rownan asked Yukie who only chuckled a pillow at his head and slammed the bathroom door shut behind him locking himself in. “Well...he’s doing better then I’ve seen. Honestly visiting us when he was pushed to much he snapped a lot quicker and was much more violent” Rownan added amused by Yukies change in temper but being a smart man he knew to leave him alone. “Word of advice Tiernan. While your right on others knowing more about raising children and being better at it you need to keep in mind Yukie has every right to set rules and desires on what he wants...he’s going against every fiber of his being both from the last ten years and from his own desires. Add in a shit ton of hormones and feeling like crap and your bound to have a touchy mate. When my mate fell pregnant I couldn’t even share a bed with him the first year. Most demons like Yukie tend to follow the same usually they either are traumatized by a rough birth or can’t understand how to cope with so much at once. While I don’t doubt Yukie loves you and your babies....he needs to learn to cope and adjust...and if that means setting rules in place and requests you won’t hear me argue them unless they are ridiculous.” Rownan added with a small sigh knowing Yuen and Yue where right to send him here to make sure he didn’t snap at the kids or his mate when he got pushed to much and well...he had been bitten many times before both after his trip and before when they where younger so he was use to Yukies bite and the new venom he now had.

"You know what, this is bullshit!" Yukie's outburst was really uncalled for. "I have been nothing but understanding. I had as much sleep as he had and somehow everything was my fault? You're the one who wanted to go out hunting! And which part of this was entertaining guests?" He shouted even after Yukie had locked himself inside of the bathroom. 

He turned to Rownan as the older male gave him the advice. "I thank you for the advice, Rownan, but this can't just be my part alone. I have been very supportive - even when he left me. I have been everything anyone could possibly do when they have a pregnant mate. Maybe I can't compare to him who had given birth to triplets, but he was being unreasonable. He was feeling sensitive? fine, but that doesn't allow him to act like an ass." He walked towards the bathroom door so Yukie could hear him loud and clear. "Why don't you just tear my throat out, huh? That would've been easier. You could raise the babies however you want then. No one's gonna tell you what to do!"

Aidan and Connor only looked at each other while Tiernan was shouting over the bathroom door. He then collected all the babies, even the ones from Rownan and Aidan's arms and brought them back into the walk-in closet and settled them carefully into the warm nest. "There, the babies are warm and safe. You can stay and wait for Yukie if you want. I'll be working on the nursery room, not like we're ever gonna need it at this rate. He told Rownan and gestured with his head at Aidan and Connor that they're heading to the other room. Yukie and stew however the hell he want.

“You forget...he’s only been around humans this last year! You’ve only been with each other for three months at most! He has every right to be unsure about things.” Rownan yelled angrily at Tiernan slamming the bedroom door behind him as he sighed and waited for Yukie to calm down and well someone had to watch the babies.

"Tiernan, not to be nosy on your love life or anything, but is that wise?" Connor confronted his brother-in-law as soon as they were in the nursery. The beds cribs were already in place. What was left was the decorations. 

"I don't know what's wise anymore. I did everything I could as his mate. I tried being indulgent, he screamed at me. I tried being firm and you saw what happened. Everything I did was not the right one for Yukie, so I wonder if he was better off left alone the way he wanted. That's what he always wanted and now I wonder why I'm still here."Tiernan rambled in frustration. He didn't mean at all about leaving Yukie or hid children, but he was so dejected that he kept saying hurtful things. "He trusted other people more than he trusted me. It make me wonder..." he stopped himself from his thinking track. He hated second guessing himself. He hated the doubts and insecurity. He loved Yukie and nobody else but their relationship was too turbulent sometimes it felt unhealthy.

“Yukie...you need to talk about things.” Rownan replied gently touching the door as he waited for the demon. “Let’s go talk outside...I’m sure there’s a nice tree we can find for you to talk to” Rownan added as he looked down at the demon who opened the door tears still on his face. “Everything is to scary right now so let’s make it less scary and new.” Rownan offered knowing everything was a touch to much between smells and the sudden change of becoming a parent overnight it was a lot for Yukie to let sink in. “You can take the babies or leave them with your mate.” Rownan added as he settled down on the floor giving Yukie time to decide if he wanted to bring the pups or leave them.

“I want them to stay with Tiernan. They might not like it outside yet...” Yukie added with a small frown as he looked at his babies.”and Tiernan wants his family to see them...he’s a proud papa and deserves to show them off without me being scary” Yukie added softly as he looked at Rownan who smiled a little.
 

”I think that’s a very wise decision. Maybe you should set them in the sunroom for him if you can.” Rownan offered as Yukie frowned thinking where best to put the babies.

”sunroom feels way to warm they might get hot...Tiernan said the nursery was pretty but not finished so they can’t go there. And his brother is helping his mate with painting it so they can’t hold them. Tiernan can’t hold all three either because they might wiggle and get dropped.” Yukie added calming down more as he tried to think of what to do.

”why don’t we ask your mate what he wants? Maybe he bought something that can help.” Rownan asked softly as Yukie nodded and handed him his sons to carry and held his daughter close so he didn’t drop her. Following Rownan Yukie waited outside in the hall sitting on the floor with all three of the babies so Rownan could talk to Tiernan with his arms free and so the babies stayed away from the paint.

”Tiernan. Your mate wants your help...he’s decided what he wants and needs and would like to talk to you” Rownan added as he stood blocking most of the doorway.

Aidan was in the middle of putting up the curtains while Tiernan and Connor put together a rocking chair. Aidan turned to ask his brother, "Do you think Yukie was having a post-partum depression? Is that a thing for a demon as well?" Since Yukie was a full demon, not many people knew his true self, his ability, or if he even have weaknesses. 

"No, I don't think so. He's just too worked out. We've only been together for two days  since he got back and he went into labor right away. I don't blame him for acting the way he did, it's just a little too much for me and I needed to get away and cool my head." They were really new in the relationship and the separation made it worse. Mate or not, something bound to clash. 

When Rownan appeared at the door, Tiernan sighed. He was still upset from his own outburst earlier, but Yukie needed him and he wanted to do anything Yukie wished for as much as he can. He walked out of the room and saw Yukie sitting on the floor with the babies. He walked to him and sat on the floor opposite of Yukie then looked at him. "Is there something you would like for me to do?" he asked nicely, waiting for Yukie to respond. "Do you want to take them somewhere?" Tiernan added.

“...I want to leave the babies with you while I go out. They can’t be on the floor because it’s cold and they might get hurt. They can’t go outside with me or in the sunroom because it’s to hot. I want them safe and looked after. I want you to watch them but not near the paint” Yukie mumbled carefully adjusting the children in his lap as best as he could. “I’m angry and need to go outside to cool down so I am nicer to you. And after I can talk better to you and behave” Yukie explained his body feeling worn and well he was just having a hard time dealing with the sudden changes around him.

”Yukie is going with me to try and relax. He’s going to try and keep to a different form mindset for a bit and then have lunch with you guys. I’ve asked Raven to bring up some sandwiches from a nice cafe for us.” Rownan added knowing they where just going to the giant tree in the back yard.

Tiernan scooted closer and took Yukie's hand. He stroked it gently while thinking of his response. "I'll take them to our nest then. I could do a little nap as well. Aidan and Connor was just putting up the final touches on the nursery - screwing in some screws for the pictures on the wall, baby locks and stuff. They can do that without me. There wasn't that many to do anymore. He had left the far wall for Yukie so he could draw his cute illustrations for their children's room. Yukie was a talented artist and Tiernan wanted some part of his mate to be put into the nursery as well. 

"Let's take them back to the nest." He planted a kiss on Yukie's forehead before getting up and picked up one of the cute bundles. He passed one of them to Rownan while offering Yukie his hand for assistance. "Aidan, Connor, I leave here to you guys," he peeked into the room at his brother and brother in law. No doubt the two of them had heard the exchange and gave Tiernan a salute to show they had it covered. 

Since he wanted to keep the nest smelling more like him, Tiernan took Sky who was in Rownan's arms while he was already holding Star so only he and Yukie enter the nest. He laid the babies next to each other and turned to Yukie before he settled down with them. "Take your time. And when you're feeling better, come back to me. I'm sorry I upset you," he apologized. He gave Yukie a tight hug and a quick kiss on the lips before glancing outside of the walk-in closet at Rownan. "Sorry big guy. I appreciate you watching over my mate. I'll be right here when you guys are done." With that, he rolled down on the cozy nest, watching over his children.

“I’m use to babysitting. Just thought I was coming to visit” Rownan added with a chuckle as he escorted Yukie out of the house and into the forest to go relax and hopefully hunt.

Tiernan watched the children for a few minutes before he too, fell asleep. When he woke up, the babies next to him were waving their hands, cooing af if they're talking to one another. "Hey little cuties," He cooed. "What are you guys talking about? Miss your other daddy?" He was talking to them and playing with their tiny little fingers. Their ears were so cute, Tiernan could almost eat them - figuratively.

"Hey, Tiernan, you awake?" Connor's voice came from inside the bedroom. 

"Yup, just woke up. How was the room?" He asked, picking up the babies one by one and moved them to the bed in the master bedroom.

Connor sat on the bed to watched the little beings. "The nursery looks fine. All that's left is for Yukie's painting. Talking about that, I need to know if Yukie was going to continue working for the publication. He's involved in something bigger now, so I wonder if he was going to quit making books." Connor expressed his worries. Even though Tiernan was technically Yukie's agent, now that they both had moved on to a greater purpose in live, Connor needed to know where they stood.

"Let's ask him when he's in a better mood. I don't know if he would have the time for it, with being the leader of all demons, but it would be a shame if he had to sacrifice his talents."

“Hey I brought lunch....I’m going to duck out before Yukie gets back” Raven yelled down the hallway to Tiernan having left the food at the end of the kitchen near the hallway not daring to set foot back near the babies. “Most demons having kids won’t deal with any other demons near their nest or babies and since I don’t want my ass kicked or mauled all the demons have agreed to stay away for a couple of months until it’s safe.” Raven explained with a small frown. “You can text any of us if you need us but we will be sending humans in the house and Rownan will be taking over if we need to enter the house” Raven added as he sent a text of what he just said to Tiernan in case he didn’t hear him. Following him where two other demons who where setting down a couple of heavy trunks that where being delivered for Tiernan and Conner. Taking their leave quickly he stopped at the door seeing Yukie covered head to toe in blood his eyes murderous.

”they all have been warned to stay away. They are dropping off some stuff and won’t step inside past this point” Rownan reassured Yukie who was waiting for even a second to slip in and snap Ravens neck. “Raven go home.” Rownan asked holding Yukie by the neck and pushing him through the kitchen to his room not caring about the bloody mess they left behind. Marching in the room Rownan tossed Yukie into the bathroom and with a hand against the door glared him down on a fight to have privacy and dominance over picking a fight. “Your going to fight me or your mate...pick your battle at this door and deal with it” Rownan hissed not backing down and letting Yukie give in to his desires to fight in a bloodbath over territory like he had at the facility.

Tiernan and Connor sat and stared at the scene unfolding in front of them. Tiernan got up and marched to the bathroom. "What is going on here? I thought going hunting was supposed to make you deal better, not coming home looking murderous. There are babies in the next room and for all I know they could smell blood already. Do you mind cleaning up a little before you plan to tear my throat out?" He glared back at Yukie who was giving him the death stare. Whatever happened, he won't back down this time. He was Yukie's mate and if Yukie wanted to fight, he'd give his all. 

He walked back to the bed and and Connor to leave the room. "Can't save you from and myself at the same time. Tell my brother I died honorably," he said, joking with Connor even though he was quite annoyed that Yukie came home all bloodied. That was counter productive to what set out do do earlier. Yukie was far away from being calmed. "We'll talk about the publications while having lunch. That is if I'm out of this room alive.' He added as Connor made a beeline out of the room and to the nursery where Aidan was.

“I don’t like them in my house and around my mate!” Yukie snapped at Rownan who stayed by the door keeping Yukie from leaving the bathroom as the demon threw his dirty clothes at Rownan to throw away. “You said they would respect my wishes to stay away!” Yukie added angry at Rownan for even having another demon set foot in the house.

”...I thought they would be gone by the time we got back.” Rownan added as he walked in and pushing Yukie in the shower turned the water on the blood rinsing off of him most of it being a mix of his blood and whatever creature he had fought. “Get your ass cleaned up and presentable.” Rownan added with a huff as he watched Yukie only scream in frustration and start throwing the shampoo bottles around the tub in frustration. Shutting the door behind him Rownan came out and looked at Tiernan. “He’s angry...but not at you. He’s territorial...half of his forms are murderous when it comes to other demons near their pups until their six months old. Toss in the trained in desire to fight and he’s a mess.” Rownan added as he laid on the floor with a sigh absolutely exhausted. “He got into a fight with a moose. Hunting well though but he was messier then I expected...I didn’t want him to clean off in the stream nearby so I apologize for the scene and mess” Rownan explained with a small smile feeling bad they had caused such a scene.

”next time I won’t be nice” Yukie snapped standing naked in the doorway his eyes and features a touch feral as he shook off the water from his body and looked at Tiernan. “I need clothes...” he asked still antsy and on edge as he looked at the babies laying on the bed his body calming a touch seeing how content they where.

"That's it, this is the last time we're gonna have babies," Tiernan mumbled to himself. It was difficult to see Yukie in such a struggle. He didn't like seeing his mate being distressed and treated his friends badly, even just due to the protective instinct. They had three children already, and he's alright with that. He passed Rownan a pillow so the centaur could rest his head more comfortably on the floor. He knew how challenging Yukie could be when he unleashed his powers, Tiernan was not jealous of Rownan's situation at all. He was at home with the cute, cuddly triplet so he was happy. 

Walking around Yukie, Tiernan went into the bathroom and got the towel. "You're making the floor wet," he said as he helped dry his mate. He didn't care if Yukie will scratch him or bite him. If he was going to hurt to his mate, he shouldn't be close to his children as well. Gently, he dried Yukie's long hair like he always did before. He rubbed the back of his ears and his neck before wiping the droplets of water from his mate's body. "Here, wrap this around you while I'll take something for you to wear from the closet." The human draped the towel around his mate's shoulder and went into the walk-in closer. Avoiding the pile of fabric on the floor, he looked for Yukie's clothes that was moved in there. Most of Tiernan's clothes had been gathered and dumped into the nest by Yukie, so the clothes left hung in there was the demon's. 

After picking out a pajama pants and a cute long sleeved shirt for his mate, Tiernan emerged from the closet and gave the clothes to Yukie. "Do you want me to dry your hair? It will dry faster." He offered, taking out the hair dryer. He didn't know how Yukie was taking his attentiveness, but other than being gentle, he only knew how to being brash, so that wasn't an option if they were going to do things properly.

“The first kids are always the worst. I don’t think Yukies handling the hormones well and on-top of that he’s producing a lot of milk now...so he’s uncomfortable.” Rownan explained to Tiernan feeling bad for the man having to deal with this. “My guess is his body is working out possessiveness and then throwing in fighting instinct and hormones....well I’m surprised he hasn’t started hissing and going totally feral. Honestly when I talked to Yue and Yuen about it when he left after staying with me they where worried he might go totally feral again” Rownan added as he adverted his eyes from Yukie who wasn’t to happy about being talked about like he wasn’t there.

”go fuck off Rownan.” Yukie added with a pissed off huff as he looked at Rownan for a moment the centaur sighing and leaving the room to go help himself to lunch. Looking at Tiernan Yukie stayed still while getting dried off only moving to get dressed. Coming back out Yukie looked at his mate before walking over and with a bit of force dragged his mate back to the bed and well...within minutes he was snuggled down against Tiernan wanting to just be held and calm down.  Nuzzling into his mate Yukie let out a deep sigh before his ear twitched and he looked over at the babies laying on the bed. “You took good care of them” Yukie mumbled as he settled into Tiernan’s lap his body a touch tiered. “Are they hungry?” Yukie asked his (breasts? Dunno if that’s the right term) feeling painfully full of milk. “I ate well...and feel better.” Yukie whispered his body still a little tense but relaxing as he looked up at Tiernan from his lap wishing he could put into words how he was feeling. “I’m sorry...for earlier. It’s a big change and a lot. I...didn’t expect to react so badly and I’m trying to settle down and relax. I’m really scared of a lot of this.” Yukie whispered his voice showing deep hints of pure fear and misplaced anger that was purely due to his fight of flight instinct being so high at the moment.

Tiernan knew it was the first time thing that made everything so difficult for Yukie to deal, so he was more skeptical for whatever will happen in the future. "Well, we'll see," Tiernan said as Yukie kicked his mentor out of the room. He was thankful that Rownan was there to offer his help, but he had seen enough of the two of them fighting over their little family. He felt like he was a bad parent.

He wasn't surprised that Yukie pulled him down to snuggled, so he went along with it. "They don't seem to want milk, but if your chest feel full, you can nurse them or we could get a breast pump." Tiernan said as he stroke Yukie's head. He missed being close to his mate like this. "A lot of things are new for me too. And I'm scared that I don't know what to do when it comes to you. I know you're hormonal and your instincts went haywire because of it, I don't blame you. I just wished that your instinct would trust my judgement too," he said, with all sincerity. 

One of the babies cooed and Tiernan picked him up. It was Sky. Tiernan had wrapped him in a different color cloth so that he knew how to differentiate between him and Blue. "I think Sky could use some milk. Would you lie down and hold him? I think you can have some shut eye while you nurse him. I'll keep an eye on anything else."

“Okay.” Yukie replied as he carefully removed his shirt feeling very naked and vulnerable as he hid under the blankets a touch more. “Oh...I’m I brought back something for Conner. I wanted to give it to him so I had it brought to the house.” Yukie added as he looked at Tiernan relaxing beside him. “I also wanted a sandwich” Yukie admitted with a blush as he was a little bit embarrassed to admit he was still hungry and had a pretty ravenous appetite lately. Taking Sky Yukie snuggled the baby taking in his scent and features so he could tell them apart better. “Do I have to support their heads still?” Yukie asked not knowing how gentle he should be with them.

"No, you can just lay on your side," Tiernan helped Yukie to lay on his side and placed Sky on the bed. "He'll be fine like this, but you can hold him too if you want. I think he likes our touch." Talking about their babies made Tiernan smile. He knew Yukie would make a good parent despite the little setback when it came to his body reaction. 

"I'll let Connor know that you have something for him. They'll be here until dinner. The nursery is done, by the way. The only thing left is for you to add your touch. I want our children to enjoy your art. There's a whole wall in there that could be your canvas. You can draw a beautiful demon so that they know their root." That was Tiernan's wish for his children, to know their roots and be proud of it. "You can draw us too if you want. A beautiful demon and a handsome human man," he chuckled. He knew they made quite a pair. "I'll go get that sandwich now. Just holler if you need me." He kissed his mate's forehead and went into the kitchen.

Yue was there eating lunch with Rownan and his brother. Connor was there as well. "Yukie is still hungry," he announced to the little party. "Sorry for the not so pretty displays these past two days. Yukie's is trying to get a hang of it. God knows I'm struggling myself. I could eat a whole fridge right now." He added, checking at the sandwiches Raven had brought earlier.

“ I look forward to painting it and painting my office when the time comes” Yukie added as he snuggled down. “Are the rest of the babies okay?” Yukie asked worried that the others where feeling abandoned looking over he noticed the other two still in the bed and moved them closer to keep an eye on them.

“Under stable having children then nursing is draining.” Rownan added as he poked at his salad enjoying the alternative to the meat sandwiches. “By the way Conner and Tiernan Yukies stuff is over there for you to go through” Rownan added as he chuckled the three trunks full of children’s books beautifully illustrated about all the demons he met and their lifestyles and home Yukie and Rownan of course being in them in the background or apart of the story when it came to choosing mates and the spark they shared.

"I don't blame him. I was only up checking the babies and I could use a whole week of sleep and two trucks of food," Tiernan said in exaggeration. 

Aidan snorted while taking a sip of his soda. "And you went ahead and have triplets," he added while Connor rubbed his back soothingly.

"How would I know how many we'd have?" Tiernan shrugged as he grabbed a piece of cut fruit and ate it. He hadn't had anything since morning and he didn't want to eat the sandwich now and had Yukie wait for him in the bedroom. Tiernan took a quick look at the trunks and saw a lot of manuscripts that Yukie had done while he was away. "He sure got very busy. Connor, go ahead and take a look at it first if you like. I want to get back to my mate. We're both hungry." At Aidan's snicker, he glared at his brother. "Not that kind of hungry, you bird-brain. He just gave birth to our three cute little chinchillas. I'd be lucky if I can get lucky within this year," he said and left the kitchen.

When he returned to the room, Tiernan put down the food on the side table and checked on the babies. "Would you like to take a break now. Blue and Star looks kinda okay." The little ones didn't look irritated or uncomfortable, so nursing could hold for a while. Since Sky had nursed from Yukie, he hoped Yukie's chest wasn't as full and hurt like before.

“I’m good. Did Conner like the books? They are all ready to print complete with wording and all the drawings. I forgot about it being all crazy and such” Yukie admitted feeling bad that he had neglected to show some of the things he had made and brought back.

He put down his sandwich on the nightstand so that he could picked up Star first and laid her down in the basket.
