Obligations Go Awry (3ruri x Akiravadel)

Jack smiled softly and leaned closer to his mate. Too bad they were out because he wanted to cuddle up to him right about now. He'd have to leave that for later, "I've heard about that where mates can talk telepathically or more feel." When he finished up his meal he stretched back with a little yawn. He was full, happy and sated. All good things for his little omega. He hoped his alpha was doing good too. He seemed to be extra aware of him which was from their recent mating. It seemed to make his mate dote on him even more, in such a cute way. 

Leaning over he motioned for him to move closer to gently kiss his cheek, "I love you. My sweet mate." He didn't want him to worry about him so much so he was trying to make him feel better. He was looking forward to a nice day with his mate. He knew they were going to some fun places, museums and everything. He was mainly excited to spent time with his mate.

They did a little more window shopping and then went back to the hotel for a little nooner and some more. It was difficult for Cade to be separated from Jack because he constantly want to be with him if not inside him. Later that night, they went to have dinner on the boat that was parked at the marina. The seafood was fresh, they had a chef cook for them at the boat while they enjoyed the sunset and the gentle sea breeze. 

The days after that were filled with about the same thing, they went sight seeing in the day and at night they send the time together in the hotel. No more intense heat for Jack, but they were just as passionate about each other as they were when their heads were hazy with lust. Maybe the contraceptive worked, maybe it didn't. Both didn't matter to Cade because either result was good with him. After spending the whole week with Jack in Italy, visiting the Colosseum, Pisa, the vineyard and more, they were ready to move to Greece. Since the distance weren't so far, Cade had arranged for a smaller private jet compared to the one they traveled to Italy. "Sorry for downgrading our travel a little, but it's easier to get smaller jets here since bigger jets need time to get permission to fly," he said.

Jack enjoyed every moment of their visit. Traveling around and visiting all these places was such a cool experience. Even everywhere they ate was a cool experience. It was neat seeing the world like this. When they would get back to the hotel it was nice to get lost in each other and enjoy one another. With his heat being over he wasn't sure if it was because he had an alpha with him now or if something else was happening but either way he was just enjoying himself at the moment.

"Downgrading isn't the thing... it's heights," Jack looked up at the plane with a worried expression. "Anything that's not strapped down and high in te air gives me the willies." He shivered looking at the plane. He couldn't not fly was the thing. He was pretty much stuck flying at the moment. "Does this flight have any alcohol?" He chuckled nervously. The poor little guy was so afraid of heights.

"You don't need alcohol when you have me." Cade winked. The flight won't take long, but he had some tricks up his sleeves to distract Jack from the heights. Perks about flying in a private jet is that they had privacy, so they wouldn't have to be too discreet when there were hardly people around to watch them. The take off was a little hard on Jack because they had to be strapped into their seat. Cade could only hold on to his hand and told him everything would be alright. Once they were in the sky and was allowed to unlatch their seatbelt, Cade pulled Jack to sit on his lap. Nothing more distracting than an alpha's scent to his omega.

"Tell me more about your family," Cade requested. All that Cade had concluded about the McLoughlins were from Susan's story and how they acted during the wedding. Jack didn't say much about them, but he thought it was time he learned about how his husband was raised. He wasn't worried about Jack's pedigree, but he wanted to learn whether or not his mate was treated the right way. "If that's okay with you." Cade added. He knew he could take Jack's attention from the flight this way, but he didn't want to give him a different kind of trauma talking about his family when he was not ready.

Jack tucked his face near him as they took off his heart beat racing through the roof. Once they were in the sky he nearly scampered onto his mates lap and inhaled his scent. It was like a calming wash over him. Almost like the best drug on the planet. Taking a few calming breathed Jack's heart rate came back down. Tell him about his family? Jack stayed glued to Cade as he wondered what to tell him.

"Well... my father and mother were always working on the business. I helped until my first heat cycle and then I was in the academy most days. My sister and her mate met in highschool they're expecting their second kid soon. My brothers are a pain in the arse. Mostly because they're a mix of beta's and alphas and just do their own thing. Before I went to the academy things were easier. We had nice holiday's together. Mum cooked breakfast even Saturday mornin' that was beans and fried mash. Sometimes it was pancakes." Jack smiled softly. "Me father and I would go fishin'. Of course my other brothers were there too but it was when my pa and I last really talked." It wasn't that they completely neglected him they were just a victim of their time. Jack had no idea they pulled away because most omega's never saw their family again and they didn't want to get too attached. They didn't catch up with the changing times and only went along with the older ways forcing Jack through the strict rules and not allowing him the different life. "I was ten when I entered the academy. From then I only saw me family on the weekends or on Holidays. Never during my heat."

Hearing Jack's story, Cade felt he could relate a little about not seeing his parents, but he at least had his grandfather. It was sad to hear someone as young as ten years old had to be separated from their family just because of their biology. Even if Jack was having his heats, it wasn't like he was going to affect any of the family members who are alphas. Some old people had the mentality that omegas would seduce just about any alphas, which was wrong. That was why many omegas was separated from their family after their first heat. That was wrong. They were robbing children of familial love and support. 

"I'm sorry to hear that, love," Cade said, kissing his mate's head in a soothing gesture. He couldn't fathom why people needed to be mean to omegas when they were such gentle, kind creatures. They needed support from the society so they can stand up on their own, so when people shun them and put stereotypes on them just because they couldn't help being who they were, they left the omegas defenseless and vulnerable. His omega grandfather had told him that. "You sounded like you had a nice childhood, up until your family sent you away. I was sent away to a boarding school at a young age too. My parents didn't want to deal with me either, although, it wasn't because of my nature. They just didn't want to raise a child." His parents weren't bad people, they're just not suited to be parents.

Jack shrugged his shoulders not really focused on that part of his life anymore. Sure it bothered him still but he mostly moved passed it. Gently nuzzling against his neck his hand rubbed over his shoulder and chest, "I'm sorry... that's not fair to you either." Sighing softly he leaned back to look at his mate. "No wonder you want a litter." Smiling softly he leaned in gently kissing his mate before hiding back against his neck realizing they were on a plane again and needed to hide. 

"You want to tell me about your family this time?" Jack asked softly wanting to know about him too. They only told a few stories so far of their pasts. It wasn't like that was going to change anything but they just wanted to know. They grew up so similar but also so different. It was strange but interesting. Being an omega was such a different thing in life. Although an alpha was considered the chosen ones in their society and yet he still had a hard life.

"I think a litter that looks like a combination of you and me would be wonderful," Cade kissed Jack's nose. He was always jealous of people who grew up with siblings, playing together and sharing toys. Of course not all siblings have good relationship. Jack and his sister Susan were pretty close, but it sounded like his brothers were pricks. When they have children in the future, Cade would raise his children to be nice to each other and keep his family close.

His childhood was pretty much boring, but he learned a lot during that time. "Well, I'm an obligatory child. So after I was born, my parents thought they had produced an heir and that's that. I was pretty much raised by my governess, then a set of tutors and the members of the household. My grandfathers were great, though. They visit as much as they can. That's why I'm closer to them more than my parents." In a way, he had more fun growing up like that. He was able to do things like climb trees, fishing in the lake and explore the gardens since his parents didn't pay much attention to him. He occasionally went to some functions and parties with his parents are they were boring as well. "Then I was sent to boarding school. During holidays I would go home to my grandfathers while my parents are busy with work or travelling around the world. Not a bad childhood, I must say." He smiled at the end of his story. He wondered why his father and his grandfather had different opinions in child rearing. But then again, not everyone is the same. 

They continued talking about families for a while, Cade holding Jack close to keep him from thinking about the heights they're at. After some time, the pilot announced that they were going to land and Cade had to let Jack return to his seat. He kept their hands together to give his mate a little comfort. The plane rattled a little when they were touching down, but all in all, it was a safe flight.

Jack listened to how he was raised and asked if his parents were both alpha's or if maybe his omega grandfather was the reason they were more loving. Sometime make and female alpha’s would get together but they weren't always the most nurturing. It was mostly a society thing but it was common. 

Jack was tense until they were finally on the ground and nearly melted in his seat. Oh did he hate flights,  "I'll ride roller coasters all day long but they're strapped down.  Put me on a plane and I'm a bitch..." He groaned softly glad to have them back on firm ground instead of the wiggling around in the air they were just experiencing. He couldn't wait to get off the thing,  even bouncing in his seat until finally the pilot told them they were clear to leave. Nearly hopping out of his seat Jack grabbed his bag to start hurrying Cade along with a shy giggle,  "the sooner we're on normal ground the sooner my legs return to normal."

Jack was right about his parents. They were both alphas. But even though they weren't a pair of nurturing parents, they do love each other. That was the best thing about his father and mother. The two of them had a strong love connection even now only that the love didn't extend to their child. No wonder his grandfather had been pushing him to find an omega. He wanted Cade to have what he and his omega had. 

"I don't mind carrying you all the way," Cade responded to Jack. He was so used to flying that going through air pockets didn't faze him anymore. He hoped there won't be any on their trip home because that would surely be a traumatizing experience for his mate. They exited the jet and climbed down the steps, finally stepping on the tarmac. Cade put his arms around Jack to steady him. He was right about his wobbly legs, because the omega really clung to him. "Next time we should go on a cruise instead," Cade suggested, already planning for their second honeymoon. He hadn't decide when yet, but there would be one.

Jack wanted to run off the plane but stayed near his mate till they were finally on solid ground. He clung to him holding on tightly and tucked his face against him to scent him again, "ugghhh.... I know it's faster and stuff... I'm only complaining that I don't like it... not that it's not a good way to get around." When he flew over form Ireland he was younger than and less nervous about it. He honestly didn't remember much of the flight.

"Cruise sounds better," Jack chuckled softly but his legs were shaking pretty good still. "Wait... are you planning another honeymoon?" He chuckled giving him a light tap on the chest and smiled as he pulled back. His mate was so funny sometimes. Planning out so much stuff, that was why Jack like to give him some spontaneous things to do. "Lead the way, I'm ready to go for a run." Just mostly to work out his shaky legs.

"If I could, I'd just take a year off and go around the world with you," Cade said sincerely. He had been working non stop ever since he took over the management of Ambrose corp, so it was time for him to take a little break. But a lot of power came with responsibility so he couldn't really abandon his work for such a long time. He had to work overtime just so he could make time for his wedding and honeymoon and if he took longer than that, he'd be leaving Merrick troubled. "Let's make a plan to at least go on a vacation each year. I want to spend time with my family as much as I can. It's not fair to take an omega and leave him alone all the time." He pulled Jack close and pecked his lips. There would be time he would be busy at work, but he had to make sure to make some time for Jack from now on.

Once they left the airport terminal, their limousine took them to the hotel Cade had booked for them. This time they enjoyed the scenery more since they were not rushing to get through Jack's heat. "When I was a kid, I always thought Rome and Greece were the same place. They have pretty similar vibe," Cade admitted. He remember always getting mixed up with the places and the history, but once he entered school, everything was much clearer. "What is your best subject in school?" He asked Jack while they were riding in the car.

Jack smiled up at his mate when he said he wanted to spend time with him, "I want to spend time with you too." It wasn't like he wouldn't be busy but this would give him something to look forward to despite work. They hadn't even had a full real day to their normal schedules yet. 

Jack slipped into the vehicle smiling over at his mate,  "that's cute." He couldn't remember what he thought about Rome and Greece. He never really paid attention in world history or places in the world. When he asked about his best subject Jack sighed softly, "uhhh... I mean I passed everything but my best subject was culinary. I was never a fan of any of the normal subjects. I was never good at tests or anything.  I always liked the electives better. What was yours?"

Culinary suited Jack, not because he was an omega. Cade could just imagine Jack in the kitchen blabbering about this and that ingredient and he would make an amazing cooking show host, just like he was good at hosting his game plays. He can't wait to come home from work and eat Jack's home cooked dinner. He had promised to make Cade's favorite tacos, so he was looking forward to that.

"If I say math, would that make me sound nerdy?" He told his answer. "To be honest, it wasn't my favorite subject. I just find the logic in the equations and it wasn't so hard to solve, but I liked science," he admitted to his spouse. He was a curious kid and science fascinated him. He even had a double degree in science and business although in the end the business part of his education was more significant to hos job now. "When I was younger, I wanted to be a researcher, but in the end, my masters and my PhDs all had to do with business. It's quite boring."

Jack had considered it at one point but he couldn't bring his camera into a kitchen before so he turned to games. Something he could hide away from the family so they wouldn't see. He wasn't expecting it to blow up as much as it had, "Only a little nerdy but that's okay." He teased him with a little giggle but he really didn't mean it like that. 

"Science I have to admit was rather fun at times. I still find myself listening to specials on tv about quantum theory and stuff," Jack wondered what his spouse could do with research. "You could still do it as a hobby and work on your research at home." He shrugged his shoulders. "It's funny that after you've said that I can't imagine you doing anything else. You're brilliant at running your business and working through projects but now that I know it's easy to see how big into science you are. Your mind works so much off logic. Mines more emotional."

He was happy he could talk about these things with his mate. No one had bothered asking him what he was into before, so having an understanding husband who found wonders in every topic was amazing. Cade kissed his giggling mate and continued. "Ambrose Corp has an R&D establishment. That's my little contribution to science. I guess being a businessman I can still indulge in my field of interest a little." Cade divulged his little secret. It wasn't really something he hide, but no one figured it was developed because Cade was into science. They thought it was just a businessman making money.

The car ride ended when they arrived at the hotel. This time, instead of rushing to their room, Cade went through the registration at the counter. It didn't take that long anyway since he was a VIP, so they provided them with the key to another honeymoon suite and told them to enjoy their stay. "Okay, what do you want to do first?" he turned to his mate upon their arrival to another splendid room with magnificent view.

Jack smiled at his mate, hearing that he had still taken an interest in his science background. He was glad to hear it, "Good. I'm glad you indulge in it." Leaning over to kiss his cheek he was always glad to support him but didn't want him to sacrifice happiness for money. Sure it was nice but it wasn't everything. Riding up to the hotel he stretched when they got out and looked around as they checked in then headed up to their room.

Checking out the room now he walked over to the balcony opening the door and stepped out to look. The place was amazing, "hmm... that's a good question. What all is there to do? I could go for some food, or walk around. I know we're picking up that wine. Oh! Lets get some massage oil tonight." He turned to smile at his mate blushing a little. "It would be nice to relax and enjoy ourselves." He wanted an excuse to rub down his mate. Even though he really didn't need an excuse.

Caspian chuckled at his mate’s reaction. “I don’t know. What do people normally do when they come to Greece?” It wasn’t a trick question. Caspian had been there a few times but only for business. This would be his firms time coming to the country for pleasure and sight seeing. He planned to take Jack to the temple ruins because Jack loved history. The rest they would need to explore together.

“Massage oil sounds great.” He seconded his mate’s suggestion. “I could use a good shoulder rub after that flight.” He rolled his shoulders a little to ease the knots. Cade walked to his husband and lifted him to the bed. “But, what should we do right now?” He asked, wondering what Jack would be in mood for. Food? Sex? Both? Or would he like to go outside and do touristy things?

Jack looked forward to going to the temples and checking out the history that would be all around them. He was excited to explore with him. Smirking at his mate he nodded his head, "yeah I feel stiff after that trip." Wrapping his arms around his shoulders he smiled softly and leaned in kissing his mate. Moaning softly his lips nipped against his. Then ran his tongue along his mates lower lip.

"I think you're thinking of something else more fun... I'm hungry but... I'm also hungry," Jack grinned at him in a teasing look. His hand ran over his mates cheek as he smiled. "I miss you waking me up with that sexy mouth of yours." He ran his thumb over his bottom lip while wrapping his legs around his waist.

Jack’s answer wasn’t totally unpredicted but Cade was slightly surprised nontheless. He though Jack’s heat had subsided but it seemed like his mate would always be hungry for him. “I created a monster,” he said, holding Jack tightly and fell down onto the bed, the omega on top of him. Cade began to undo his pants, kissing his neck and chest while his hand moved. Once he managed to free his mate from the bottoms, Cade slapped the squishy bum lightly. “Come sit on my face.”

It was a new position for eating Jack out since previously Cade had been doing it to wake his husband up. Jack would either be on his back or on his stomach. He slowly anticipated the little omega sto slid up his body until he was presented with the sweet fluttering hole of his mate. “Come on, don’t be shy.”

Blinking in surprise he looked down at his mate blushing a little about sitting on his face. Sure when he woke him up with it most of the time he was either asleep when it started or turned on to the point he didn't care anymore. This was really embarrassing like this.

He had left marks on it previously, but as the bruises were beginning to fade, Cade had the urge to replace them with new ones. "There's nothing to be embarrassed about. I have seen everything there is to see." He didn't want his husband to be nervous, yet his reactions were almost sweet and innocent, the alpha just wanted to see more. 

When Jack was in position above his face, Cade teased his cute balls first, suckling and nibbling on his smooth sack. Then, he took them inside his mouth knowing how the omega felt a little bit shy when he did things like that to him. Cade could smell the slick coming out from Jack and he knew it was time for his main course. Grabbing a handful of the young omega's butt in his hands, Cade pulled him forward so he could eat him out, stabbing his tongue past the guardian ring. Jack was still embarrassed about some things even if he'd seen them a hundred times before. Either way, they were making love. 

When they were done, Cade planned to let his mate get some rest before they'd spend time doing other things. Their sightseeing could continue the next day, but maybe for the night they could play a little game on Jack's laptop or they could watch a movie together. He knew his younger mate was not a fan of horror movies, so maybe they could find something fun to watch. He'd order room service and they'd learn more about one another aside from their compatibility in bed.

Jack panted hard being moved onto all fours and looked back over his shoulder at his mate. Those blue eyes hazy from lust. Of course Jack opted for his mate to be inside him. Not that he didn't enjoy him eating him out but he loved his mate inside him more. Moaning in pleasure he would press into his body just the right of ways.

Afterwards it was nice to relax and chat. Even the next few days were nice. Resting with his mate on the bed after a day of sightseeing he was cuddled up against his side snacking on some fruits. Licking his lips he smiled softly, "I hate to admit it but... I have a soft spot for disney movies. I love them." He giggled shifting to look up at his mate with a grin and a blush. "Guilty pleasure." Learning more and more about his mate was so much fun. He never thought he'd be so lucky to get a mate like him.

"What about you? What's your guilty pleasure movie?" the omega ran his hand over his mates chest just really enjoying their cuddle time. His mates body was nice against his own and in a way their was connecting them more that when they'd sleep together.
