He let himself being carried to the sofa, acting like he was wounded. He didn't need to do much acting as now after the enzyme was out of his system the wounds were actually hurting him pretty much. 

"We went to the club as we were instructed ..ngh ... but they were waiting for us. We tried to fight them but eventually we tried to run different ways, spread around town so they couldn't fallow us" he groan in pain leaning his back on the sofa taking deep breaths. 

"A few fallowed me .... caught me ...i tried to fight them but i was already weakened and couldn't heal fast enough ... they ... they fed of me ... i don't remember much after it ... i blacked out .... woke up a few hours ago by the edge of town in pain" he managed to say looking at the elder hopping the story would be believable. 

"You said 4 where killed ... i'm sorry" he said groaning again as he tried to move.

The elder frowned, "Bloody vampires. Can't trust the fuckers at all." He growled. Patting Jay's shoulder a moment. He frowned a moment and nodded, "Yes.... unfortunately. I wish I could stop this from happening." He sighed. "But it is good that you're safe and back with us, Alpha. You would be missed." Gregoth hated that his plan had been foiled slightly, he had hoped all five of the wolves sent out today would die... necessary for the greater good. And an alpha? It would gain support for the next part of the plan.... though maybe he could use this to his advantage too?

"Those stupid blood suckers need to pay for killing our family. I am sick of losing good wolves to them." He growled again. 

Jane came with a plate of cooked steak, a glass of water and some pain killers. "Here, Alpha." She smiled shyly at him, her pheromones clear to anyone paying attention. Pushing hair behind her ear she quickly moved away.

The Elder watched, amused. "You do know.... one day soon you'll need to take a mate. The pack is relying on you, counting on you to contribute with your offspring. Maybe it is time we found you a nice omega?"

Jay was observing the elder as he spoke not trusting him one bit. He would be miss? Since when? They didn't even send someone to look for him. They all thought he was dead by only one day. And he said he would have been missed? If you miss someone you do all you can to find them. 

"We will be more caution next time" he said trying to act as the good soldier he was but in his heart more doubt about his elders was forming. Were they really outnumbered? Was it really a trap made by the vampires or was it a death sentence. They were send to a group of vampires that outnumbered them. They had some sort of substance that were slowing the process of healing. If he wouldn't had run away back there and wouldn't had been found by the vampire, he would have been dead too. All of them. No ... they cannot be that cruel into sending us direct in a trap .. they didn't know ... they were surprised too .... or weren't they ..., his mind was running in million directions when the girl came in the room placing the food on the table. Taking a deep breath he could feel her scent and the fact that she was into him, but he wasn't attracted to it.  

Leaning forward to reach out for the food and drink he almost chock when the elder told him to think about a mate. 

"With all due respect sir but a mate right now is not a proper thing to think about. There are still suckers out there that need to be stopped and ... i will not want to risk a mate safety or life if she was  to remain a widow" he said taking a sip of the glass. why the sudden rush for this? He never suggested this before. In fact, he was more into fighting and all that matter.

"It isn't a new thought." The Elder said. "It is simply the first time I have felt the need before to suggest it, I had always predicted you would find someone by yourself by now." It wasn't entirely a lie.... not entirely.

"We will sort this all out." He hummed. "The vampires will pay, you need to rest and recover. It will take you a few days to heal... why don't you consider it during that time." The Elder hummed and shrugged lightly, "A mate can make you strong too. Make the pack strong." He frowned slightly. "Perhaps we can let you focus on that for a while. Others will step up to the fight."

He stood up. "I know you like men too. If you would rather a male omega, we can find one. It probably won't matter." He hummed, watching him. A strange smile spread over his face. "I'll have three candidates lines up. Meet them at least."

He stuffed food into his mouth to stop himself from saying anything stupid. Yes, he was impulsive most of the times but now he had to think before acting. Thought my ass you old goatfish, he thought listening carefully what the other man said. His wounds were starting to heal quicker now. Guess he needed some food and drink in his system to be able to heal faster.

"Alright sir. You can add Jane on that list too then" he smiled trying to act a little enthusiastic. His eyes never left the elder as so did the elders eyes on him. Something was definitely fishy and he was going to find out.

"Oh? Jane isn't an omega but I can add her to the list. Find you some appropriate choices." The Elder smiled, looking almost victorious. "Rest, Alpha Jay." He hummed gently, watching. Stepping away and leaving him alone.

I meant it but i don't want you to get your hopes up. It could be possible that you will not be my mate. It will depend how i will feel the connection between us when where together" he said in a seductive voice, moving his hand on down her neck and cleavage and in between her breasts. Maybe she heard something more from this room. 

"You know what i mean by that, don't you Jane" he asked looking her deep into her eyes, moving a little closer to her, but not moving that much as he was still hurting.

She could be a spy of the elders. Everyone could be a spy of the elders. 

"Right now i will need to rest. Could you help me to my room please" he asked with a gentle smile.

Jane smiled softly at him and nodded. "Yes, of course I can help you to your room." He promised softly. Watching him a moment. "Do you need help getting up?" She moved closer again to help him. Happy to be able to help him a little. "I understand. About not being able to decide what you want... about not knowing if you want a mate. But... for the record? I think you would make a good mate. For whoever you pick. You've always been really nice, Jay."

She admitted shyly as they walked towards Jay's room. "Do you need anything being brought up?" She asked softly.

He smiled thankful for her kind words and walked with her silently to his room. Opening the door and helping him settle on the bed he thanked her again. 

"No, that will be all for tonight, thank you. I just need a goodnight sleep" he said smiling setting himself in bed, pretending to get some sleep so that he would be left alone. 

He needed to talk to the vampire which now he realized he couldn't remember his name. The guy told him most likely but he was to weak then to hear it. As soon as Jane left his room and closed the door behind her he took the phone out and looked at the last contact dialed. 

"So your name is Kyran" he said smiling. When he opened the phone he saw the message from him and smiled. Why, he couldn't understand. But he did smiled. He started typing really fast. I'm back home safe. I've responded to you as promise. Something is strange. I'll investigate tomorrow and will keep in touch with you. Aparently my other mates from the pack died. guess i should have had too if it wasn't for you.

"Good night, Jay." Jane smiled softly. Watching him a moment before leaving the other wolf alone.

Kyran heard his phone ping, looking down at it a moment. He was quiet before finally figuring out a short message to reply back; "Thanks for letting me know. Sounds suspicious! Not much going on here though." He still needed a more time to process all of this though. Time he would get now.

He had returned to the dungeon, cleaning it up as he removed all trace of the alpha wolf. He picked up the journal before returning to the upstairs world. Sitting on the sofa he started to read, only to smile when Tristan walked over and straddled his knee, wrapping his arms around him.

"My beautiful vampire. I've missed you today." Tristan grinned, tilting his neck in offering. 

Kyran laughed, putting the book down as he let his hands wander to grope Tristans perfectly perk arse. "I want inside you." The vampire grinned.

"No. Here." Kyran challenged.

Reading the message when his phone pinged he smiled. He thought it was suspicious too, that made him more worried. But he decided he had to heal and then to start looking around and check scripts and books or even to search the offices or the dungeons. 

The next day when he woke up he felt more like himself. Checking the phone to see if he had got any other message from the vampire while he fell asleep but there was non. What am i expecting. This is business. Since when am i checking for messages and especially from that vampire? he thought shaking his head as he got up and went to take a shower. The warm water relaxed him a bit but it didn't swiped away his worry. He had to move fast if he wanted to find something or the elders will force him into mating and then he wouldn't stand a chance. 

After the shower he dressed up in a shirt and jeans and went out doing his usual rounds. Checking everyone was okay and heading towards the kitchen to grab something before his normal practice. Down the halls he heard footsteps behind him but didn't look, he just walked normally to the kitchen as he intended to. Once he reached the door he stopped and turned but there was noone there. Strange ... i could have sworn i heard someone behind me, he thought entering the kitchen grabbing some fruits then exit on the other door which was straight to the outside, going to the practice area. 

just before he could reach the arena he stumble in the elder from last night. 

"Good day sir. Didn't expect you here so early" he said chewing on the apple that he had taken from the kitchen.

Gregoth looked over at Jay. "I was just arranging the omegas for you. I have found two very eager ones. I have a female and a male lined up, and of course your Jane." There was amusement in his expression. "The female omega is local and has agreed to come over this afternoon." He hummed softly.

Looking at Jay and then his food. "Eat up." He smiled. "You need your strength and to heal." The Elder shrugged lightly, "Her name is Elise. She is from the Stonewater pack. Good family. Twenty year old. Virgin I believe.  Then there is Tyler, he is from the Mountain View pack. Orphan. Twenty-five. Pretty sure he isn't a virgin."

The Elder just wanted to keep Jay nice and distracted.

"Now excuse me, i need to get to practice" he said smiling, bowing his head a little and then walked pass him, not wanting to hear more of his stupid decisions

I am sure Tyler will be happy to come and play with you today." The Elder shrugged lightly, watching him a moment before simply letting him leave. "You're dismissed."

At about two in the afternoon, Tyler was brought to the pack house by a Beta from his pack. He smiled at his friend before knocking, waiting patiently. He was excited and nervous. His friend said that Jay was an alpha well known for being a strong soldier. He wanted that right now. Needed it even. He had to try make this work.

"Let me guess .... you must be Tyler" he said smirking taking a step to the side with the door, making room for him to enter.

Tyler smiled, "I am Tyler. It is nice to meet you, Alpha Jay." He chuckled softly, opening eyeing the man up. Turning to his friend he nodded before stepping inside. "I see you're ready? I know how this goes." The omega shrugged.

Closing the door behind him before smiling. "I like to top. Mostly because I don't want to risk an accidental pregnancy." He admits softly. Watching him. "That okay with you. I know some alpha's get funny about that."
