Half demons take a very low quarter dose while full demons take a half dose.” Yukie explained pulling out from a small drawer a blue box and a red box. “Blue is quarter dose, half is red dose.” Yukie added with a small frown. “Under no circumstances is anyone allowed to take my blood tablets. If they do they will get very sick so only people allowed to touch my supply is Raven, Yue and Yuen and…now you” Yukie explained as he sighed softly. “My blood pills are locked because they can be addictive to other demons almost like a drug. But, they help me stay stable and non….let’s say feral in the need to kill for extra nourishment.” Yukie finished open to any questions from his mate.

They stay locked up for a reason.” Yukie added as he grabbed a glass of water and dropped two of his pills in the pills dissolving and turning the water a deep dark crimson. “I can take up to four pills, more than that is overkill and I don’t feel okay mentally when I take more.” Yukie explained as he sipped his drink. “It’s a touchy balance I need them for sanity so I don’t feel the urge to hunt and get blood that way.” Yukie explained with a frown before turning and pulling a medium sized bento box out of the fridge that was wrapped in a beautiful cloth. “I also sometimes consume raw-ish meat…not often maybe once twice a week if I’m on top of my blood tablets.” Yukie admitted as he opened the box to reveal uncooked steak. “ I usually seat them to eat them in public but at home I eat them raw.” Yukie explained with a small blush having never been this open with anyone before. “Also, you don’t need to worry about me getting you sick I brush and disinfect after eating it.” Yukie added quickly as he carefully wrapped up the dish and put it back into the fridge. “The reason I’m telling you…is because sometimes…I forget things. My time living with “father” had some instances where he was paranoid about me remembering key things from the testing….so he kinda scrambled my brain so I couldn’t remember things very well. It happened so often that it kinda stuck as a normal thing with my body to the point where my brain and body sees it as normal, just as growing horns or changing forms are to me.” Yukie explained with a frown as he looked at his drink not sure how to explain it better. “I-I forget sometimes to the point of where I am and to take basic medicine if I get sick. Sometimes I forget people around me, at worst I forget who I am. It only flares up every now and then but…I don’t know if I’ll always be like that or eventually it will go away.” Yukie admitted not sure what the future held for him. “I didn’t know it was happening until Raven started living with me to help me get better after I fell apart. He only noticed because at night I would just stare outside for hours or be confused by his questions like I was heavily drugged and struggling to figure things out. What made him worry was how I sometimes felt like I never left the facility, and sometimes I acted like I was still there. It took time for me to learn and get better and understand why it was happening and how to control it much like I had to learn with my other forms.” Yukie explained as he sipped his drink again. “I’m much better now and I only have it happen every now and then, but for awhile my family they where all worried I was suffering and struggling…even though it was more of just trying to figure out how to cope with change. Despite this…if I do ever forget you for a while I’m sorry.” Yukie whispered the thought of forgetting his mate bringing a visible pain to his face. While he was worried Innosuke wouldn’t understand it was only fair he knew that Yukie was damaged and not always going to be the perfect demon that he portrayed to the media.
