“um i think they retract back to this smaller size im not sure” innosuke asked “as for blood… there’s a heavy stench down the hallway when you opened the door as you are also smelling of blood though its not something I’d like to eat “ innosuke said as he was poked and prodded by Yuen who stopped every so often jotting things down as did Corey who left the corner and stepped up whispering into Yuen’s ear “Sir we could test this by causing a fresh blood flow to see how he responds, I am willing to do this if we need” Corey waited for Yuen’s response as Innosuke sat there thinking if he was hungry “i mean I can eat normal food and had a glass of what Yukie gave me this morning” innosuke added as he replayed him licking his own blood from Yukies lips.

Hearing Cory’s voice whispering into Yuens ear Yukie almost burst a blood vessel the demon grabbing his chair and smashing it into the wall next to Cory.“How fucking dare you suggest such a thing.” Yukie snapped his voice low as he growled his features looking truly possessed with anger. “Offering up your blood….doing such a thing in a hospital….to another demon….that is against the laws.” Yukie snapped his rage almost spilling off of him as the room grew cold and the shadows inked from all corners spilling across the room like a spilled pot of ink. “ Intentionally baiting vampires or demons into bloodlust or to stimulate a response feed is punishable by death.” Yukie snarled his fangs sharp as he growled at Cory Yuen stepping up and grabbing Yukie as he pushed him against the wall.

”Yukie. Calm.” Yuen asked gently as he held the demon close in a tighter grip trying to make the poor upset demon control himself. “The rest of you please leave.” Yuen ordered as he watched Yukie who was struggling against his hold the demon screaming out in anger as he tried to control his rage. Within seconds though the room was a mess of medial equipment and blood as Yuen stood in front of Innosuke his arm bleeding as he glared at the giant wolf in front of them with bloodstained teeth crushing Yuens arm as he snarled trying to pull Yuen away from Innosuke Yukies only thoughts on protecting his mate from the evils of all the doctors.

Innosuke looked at a Yukie who snapped suddenly and the resident trainees being removed Corey standing by to assist where he could while Innosuke caught a whiff of fresh blood his eyes turning a hint of red as he teeth grew grabbing on the table he dug his nails in tightly so he didn’t lash out “N-no” he muttered out as the blood dripped on the floor and covered Yuens arm Innosuke could pull his eyes away. The hue of red only darkening to a crimson taking over his brown color as he winced “I need to get out of here now…or I’m going to hurt you” he winced out his hands gripping tighter to the padded exam seat his hearing increased more and tears streamed down his face he was fighting hard against the side that wanted to bite the open wound that was near him.

Corey standing by grabbed a vampire mask that he was prepared to clamp down onto Innosukes face, which during the struggle he noticed it was getting harder for innosuke to stop himself and  Corey snuck by innosuke slapping the mask on and locking it shut, this mask would feed a soft chemical to make vampires fall asleep. Innosuke  fighting to stay away his eyes changing back to the brown and his eyes closed as he started to fall back into the bed, Corey grabbing Innosuke and laying him back gently he looked at Yuen nodding “Innosuke is a half demon, he’s going to need blood tablets heavily when around blood” Corey explained as he looked at Yukie “I am sorry if I displease you young master but it seemed best to go this route to see what he’s capable of, would you agree Yuen” Corey asked as he grabbed bandages for Yuens wounds.

“No. It’s not the right choice! The choice and right way that we do things here is asking the patient not sedating or taking advantage of them….this is why Yukie doesn’t come here and why he reacts like this with all of you. You never ask for consent when it comes to medical. Until all of you start to learn that I won’t ever let you become doctors in my hospital! Keep in mind Yukies the one that pays for this place and funds your learning and salaries.” Yuen snapped angry that Cory had gone ahead and sedated Innosuke which only proved that Yukie couldn’t trust doctors. “Fuck…. You fucking touched his mate damn sedated him…and set him off worse….Why don’t you just take Innosuke to my office and leave him there while I deal with Yukie. I need to wait for Yukie to calm down try and reason with him before I take drastic measures…..Anyone seeing him riled up like this will be afraid of him and he’s most likely just as scared as Innosuke was. It doesn’t help that he voiced his fears to me all last week and I reassured him he would be safe” Yuen hissed as he was clearly done with the interns. Gently touching Yukies face the wolf only growled his ears back as he refused to let go of Yuen only biting down harder Yuens arm the bone crunching underneath the pressure of the giant wolf teeth. “Damn…” Yuen groaned the pain being rather horrible as Yukie hadn’t ever gotten so defensive before Yuen having worked very hard to build Yukies trust with him course it was all out the window now that Yukie had a mate to protect.

Corey nodded softly lifted up Innosuke removing the mask and placing it on the bed before making his short journey to Yuens office and setting Innosuke on the plush leather sofa while could stood by and waited before sitting in a chair and talked to Inosuke who was still sedated “I messed up Innosuke, I made it this far by doing good and I’m not sure what came over me to suggest what I did and for that I am deeply sorry, I placed you and your mate in danger and I wish I could take it back, I really do if I were given this chance again I wouldn’t dare offer a thought like that again… a resident doctor who can’t even work around vampires because he has not seen them before I’m so sorry” Corey said low as he covered his face upset he had messed up though he learned a lot he learned the wrong way.

Innosuke laid still his body not responding as the sedation had not been lifted from him there was no stir in his body and it was certain he was knocked out and even looked porcelain.

Coming back into the office Yuen stood in the door his arm casted and bandaged heavily as it sat in a swing the flesh a dark purple on his fingers. “Cory, you should go home for the day. Have all the trainees also go home. I’m closing the hospital down for the day….I need to call in some teams to help with cleaning and sterilizing. I think it would be best to reassess things.” Yuen explained as he walked in and sat in his chair knowing his words were heavy but needed. “The guards will escort everyone out and will be sending patients back to their homes or to elders for those needing overnight care. Until further notice we are going to redirect people to my smaller practice. I’ve already gotten everything set up.” Yuen explained with a deep sigh.

”containment is secured. We’ve got everyone out.” One of the guards replied as he stood waiting for Cory the man in full demon hunting gear. Yuen at this point had to make the call for a containment for Yukie who was completely feral and out of control. To keep him in the hospital they locked down the building with security and added the guards that were trained to shoot him in defense. “You’re the last escort we are going to make this quick in and out.” The guard replied to Cory as twelve other men stood outside the room to help.

Corey stood and bowed “Sir I’d like more training with handling vampires who have mates like Young Master Yukie, I feel like my incompetence was due to the little knowledge I have when it comes to vampires with mates, please give me the chance to train under you for this I will merely watch and observe “ Corey asked before Turing to the door and stopping as Innosuke stirred in his sleep his nails growing and his teeth growing and retracting with tears down his face staining his face as he called out to Yukie, “Yukie I…I didn’t mean to hurt your dad I’m so….sorry” Innosuke was having nightmares about hurting Yukie’s father reliving the moment as if he had caused the issue to begin with like Corey was not present “Yuen…please don’t lock me away” Innosuke whined as his hands shot out into the air as he screamed loudly “Yukie!!!!! Forgive me” the sedative was still working and Innosuke was fully knocked out but was responding to his dreams Corey stood there looking at Yuen unsure if he should leave still or if he should remain to keep an eye on innosuke sedated demons usually wake groggy and may require blood tablets or even a way to stop him if needed “Sir, should I stay?” Corey asked knowing Yuen would likely kick him out anyway but he was determined to learn even if that meant looking information up in the medical books Yuen supplied.

“The problem is there isn’t any other demon like Yukie. There’s just those that share basic traits….there aren’t any demons that can do what he can and the only reason he’s like this is because he was created to be like he is….there’s not natural way for demons to be like him. It’s why I’m the only one who can assist him. While I know this is due to a lack of knowledge with vampires in general this all needs to go before the elders. Yukie has final say and he’s involved like this to find any worries and safety issues. If you had said what you did to a different vampire that hadn’t eaten and was nervous…they could have both gone on a blood rampage. The hospital is too big to even track Yukie down at this point and our security system is shot.” Yuen replied with a sigh as he looked at Innosuke and covered him with a blanket gently petting his head to try and soothe him. “It’s a horrible mess, they both were afraid coming here to begin with…I don’t know how I can restore their trust.” Yuen whispered as his face fell into his hands the demon stressed beyond belief at how badly things had gone.

Corey sighed softly and nodded “I want to help this is my fault for suggesting such old ways of tracking demon types I read it was the fastest way to determine a full or half vampire and I’d like to take this to the elders and apologize to them both if it helps I’ll be strictly children with your supervision” as he watched Yuen care for Innosuke who still laid sedated to the couch as Innosuke seemed to calm down at the gentle touches to his head though tears still streamed down his face.

”I’m sorry that everything went sideways so quickly and it’s due to my inability to know where it would go wrong I figured this is why we had the masks in so sorry Yuen” Corey said still feeling like he would lose his job over his misunderstanding of the equipment but he could likely be placed in demon training or some other class for medicine that would bump him down to an intern or a med student again due to his failure to ask all the questions of the situation. He looked around for a cup and pulled out a few tablets from a punch pack he kept handy for Innosuke when he was hungry during the exam and set them beside the cup on Yuens desk “I grabbed these to help if Innosuke got hungry earlier I suppose when he wakes he will be hungry isn’t that how those masks work?” Corey asked looking to Yuen for guidance.

“I wouldn’t know, Yukie brought them in for extreme cases…he only said he was hoping they could help with the feral demons, maybe lessen the stress of being around others.” Yuen explained as he looked at the mask studying it. “Yukie….never told me what exactly this mask was used for….he just showed up one day and asked me to keep them. I’m assuming it’s something that was used to move him in his past or to control him. I know we kept a lot as a quite sedative but I’ve never really used one. I can’t bring myself to use anything of Yohs.” Yuen explained knowing that Yukie had kept everything of his Bio fathers and well over the last year he was slowly starting to move things around his house and was starting to get rid of his old items of torture. “He might have had more of a mental reaction than a reaction to you doing something wrong. Seeing how it was on Innosule…it’s probably made him afraid.” Yuen explained as he set the mask down before moving to a closet and pulled out an old medical bag covered in the smell of Yukies old dried blood and very strong cleaning fluid. Setting it beside Innosuke  as a peace offering Yuen held up his hands gently as he watched the wall darken and Yukie reach out to take the bag the demon sitting on the top back of the couch holding the bag like it was the most precious thing in the world. “…he’s still stuck in the world he was raised in with Yoh…it’s hard for him to let go of the person who hurt him so badly to move away from that world….I don’t use anything that was his no matter how much Yukie says they work well….for Yukies own mental health. It seems this still resembles his fathers stuff to much.” Yuen explained as he looked at Yukie who just cried while holding the bag even tighter to his chest the doctor removing the mask and setting it back on his desk near the see through cabinet filled with many old medical supplies that clearly belonged to the demon.

Innosuke flinched waking up suddenly he shot up his arms reached out “Yukie!!!!” He blinked several times as he looked around the last thing he remembered was seeing Yukie tear into yuens arm and Innosuke fighting against his instinct to bite into the blood soaked flesh with Yukie as innosuke looked around his eyes still crimson red as he grumbled “Hungry…” before seeing Yukie on the ground innosuke looked up seeing Corey next and his instinct kicked in “ what the fuck did you do to my mate ….” Innosukes eyes becoming a piercing red shifted to allow Yukie the couch if he wanted it though his gaze never left Corey.

Corey looking back at the sudden yell to see innosuke woke up and he looked hungry and angry a terrible combination for a vampire after a forced sedation “This all happened because I had little knowledge on vampires and followed an old rule and for this I am sorry I can make you a drink if you’d like-“ Corey was cut off and backed up as Innosuke  cut him off.

” Nothing you make will make me feel safe, what will is your corpse on the floor but because Yuen is here I will refrain from tearing you to shreds, Mind you I respect Yuen to much for his room to be destroyed “ Innosuke had growled back as his hand touched Yukie’s shoulder and spoke soft “Come back baby come back to me…I need you” he said softly to Yukie.

“Are you okay?” Yukie asked softly still clothing the medical bag tightly in his arms not ready to give it back to Yuen.

”Innosuke is fine physically…but he might be needing a good meal. Shall I get us all lunch?” Yuen offered gently as Yukie nodded slightly and settled down more on the couch making a small safe nest for himself by the pillow. “Thank you for not destroying my room, and please don’t bite or rip into my assistant. It’s my fault for bringing Yukies things here. They belong back in my practice and truth be told I should have kept the medical field a lot smaller then what we have here. There’s too much room for mistakes.” Yuen explained as he picked up his office phone and called one of the guards to let them know to stop looking for Yukie and to grab them food.

Innosuke leaned over and nestled himself into Yukie’s side not wanting to be far from him without touching him in some way as his eyes never left Corey  still eying him like a piece of steak ready to be devoured “you are welcome Yuen as for me I want to know what I am and how dangerous I can be…I don’t want to hurt anyone and if Corey hadn’t used that thing on me I likely would have been fighting till I snapped..” Innosuke recalling the internal fight he had with himself “it was like every inch my body was burning to bite but my brain wouldn’t let me move…” Innosuke explained as he obviously fought it off for a while unsure of how long he could have or how he would be taken from Yukie had he finally lost control “You.. you took me from consciousness and I want to hurt you so badly right now my Love is hurting and I can feel it in my shoulder how much pain he was in why…” Innosuke asked not really understanding what happened let alone why he could feel Yukie’s pain and how that could have been Yukie’s mark holding him back “I am sorry I looked at you like food Yuen” Innosuke added as his stomach growled loudly for food and probably blood as he head his head the lights in the room seemed to get brighter at the minutes passed though Innosuke had not noticed his eyes were still a feral crimson red common to vampires in blood lust though, Innosuke was able to talk and move with a reason and not instinct like a blood listing vampire would.

“Innosuke, you’re a half demon. You’re going to need a heavy amount of blood tablets to start until you’ve calmed a little. Though you seemed attracted to Yukies blood and being his mate I’m assuming you could feed off of him if needed and Yukie off of you. Even though it’s frowned on sometimes it’s not forbidden.” Yuen explained as he grabbed a water bottle and a pack of Yukies blood tablets and after shaking the bottle handed it over to Innosuke to drink. “Bright side as I see it you dont seem to want to kill me. So I doubt your that dangerous, just hungry and stressed.” Yuen explained as he set a bottle down for Yukie who only hid away from the drink not feeling like it.  “As for Yukie…well he’s just upset and scared. Yoh used sedation quite a bit….my guess is it brought back a memory of controlling him….in the sense of moving him safely for demon baiting. He reacted that way because he was afraid for his mate.” Yuen explained as he gently pet Yukies hair ignoring the flinch from his son at his gentle touch. “What he went through sometimes is hard for him to break out of….to figure out reality. He will go back to normal given some time…he always does.” Yuen reassured Innosuke as he gently took the vamps hand and laid it gently on Yukies head to replace his comfort for Innosukes.

Innosuke sighed  finally taking his off Corey who seemed to be more afraid of a vengeful mate then speaking as Innosuke looked down touching Yukies head “I love him and will do anything to make him happy even if that means letting someone take my life as long as he lives a long healthy happy life I’ll be happy in my death” Innosuke said as he knelt down taking Yukies hand softly as he pulled off his bracelet one that he made and he wrapped it around his mates wrists “Yukie this would have been better if I had the rings I wanted to buy but Yukie will you do me the honor of being my forever?” Innosuke asked knowing that Yukie may not answer him yet and may tell not right now but he would risk it for his love.

“We already are forever, we’re mates.” Yukie mumbled as he moved and huffed Innosuke tightly hiding his face in his mates comfort. Holding on tightly to Innosuke Yukie couldn’t help the quiet tears that fell down his face. In a sense he felt more grounded by his mates presence something, that he had struggled with before. To find Innosuke as a rock like he did some items in his past was a breath of fresh clean air that made the poor demon relax a little. “Please don’t die….I don’t want to exist without you.” Yukie whispered his voice so broken at the fragile words that left his lips.

Innosuke smiled hugging his mate in return as Yukie spoke low with a whiny voice about how he didn’t want Innosuke to die he softly looked at him with a huff and held him  with a soft response “As you wish my love, I will not take my last breath” Innosuke gulped softly as a sudden urge hit him like a bag of bricks he smelt blood and this pulled his full attention, His hands shaking as he tried to pretend it wasn’t noticeable though where ever it was it screamed at him. Innosuke hugged Yukie tightly trying to not let go as innosuke felt his own heart race “B-blood” he mumbled out as his eyes scanned the room looking for the source trying to fight the urge to find it, Innosuke Hopped that Yukie could hold him back and stop him from where ever it was coming from.

“It hurts a lot…feeling thirsty.” Yukie replied as he looked at Innosuke before taking his hand and biting deeply into a vein. “You can drink mine….only mine. If you take anyone else’s you’ll get in trouble.” Yukie explained having calmed down completely as he could smell the blood also along with Yuens still badly maimed arm.

Innosuke nodded his breath showing sighs of being tired from fighting it off as Yukie opened a vein in his hand and Innosuke curled up as he grabbed Yukies hand before biting down his fangs growing piercing the skin as he felt the urge to hunt for the source dwindling down as he softly drank from yukies hand as he lifted his other to Yukie offering his own hand for Yukie to drink though he didn’t care if it was frowned upon he just wanted to feel Yukie close to him as Innosuke lifted his head “Take from me no one else ever..” innosuke said as he bite back down his face flushed red and his eyes a bright red color of pleasure.

“I won’t drink from anyone else. But for now you just drink, it will help having a natural source until you can tell when you’re starting to get hungry.” Yukie replied as he smiled softly and snuggled into Innosuke resting his head on his mates shoulder as he relaxed.

”after your done I’ll have the elders called to take you both home.” Yuen added as he went to a cupboard to grab medical supplies.

”I’ll fix up your arm you after Innosuke is done.” Yukie whispered as he looked at Yuen ashamed for hurting him so badly.

”I’m sure you’ll be more than happy to help teach Cory how to fix a bite from you.” Yuen added as he called the elders and then took some medicine for the pain.

Innosuke held his loves hand as he let go softly and moved to Yukie’s neck as he grabbed Yukie gently “More… as he looked up he spoke hoarsely as his pants grew tight as he scooted close to Yukie “Yukie I need you…” innosuke said as he grabbed Yukies waist blood still sitting on his lips as he spoke low into Yukies ear “right….now” innosuke tried to hide his ever growing crotch into Yukie and keeping it from others.

Corey looked over as he was alerted to being needed “Uh yes I’d love to learn please teach me” Corey said quickly grabbing a note pad before looking over any innosuke who seemed to be mumbling to Yukie and looked in distress “Um Yuen is that normal he looks like he’s in pain” Corey said nodding over to innosuke getting closer to Yukie.

“Yeah he’s fine…jus….it can happen…and will…. Why don’t we go greet the elders and you can care for my arm I’ll walk you through it? I’ll buy you a coffee afterwards and we can discuss the days off you need at my private practice.” Yuen replied as he didn’t want to see what mess the two would get up to. As he got up and grabbed his medical bag from the floor, and after putting it in Cory’s arms grabbed the man’s sleeve and dragged him out and far enough away they wouldn’t hear anything.

”Innosuke…be gentle.” Yukie asked shaking slightly as he heard the door lock and shut tightly giving the two some privacy. “Please?” Yukie added his body instantly reacting to his mates need as he felt his own body become flush and burning with desire.

Corey was dragged out as he followed Yuen “But sir why does that happen weren’t they almost about to kill and now they are horny? I don’t get it is it Yukies blood? Or just what?” Corey asked as he  kept looking back to the door  as he got dragged  away further and further away from the room as he hopped to get answers he was really curious as to why it happened and what cause the mood to shift.

Innosuke wrapped an arm under Yukies and pulls Yukies shirt away from His neck before softly kissed his neck “Yukie… I’m gonna bite you..will it mark you like you did me?” Innosuke asked as his other wrapped around his mates waist he wanted to to rip everything off and let his mate control everything he hardly could stop himself  to even ask and he kept kissing Yukies neck softly licking it in between.

“Well not many demons drink blood. It’s very few that are registered that can even digest actual blood. Most stick to the blood tablets. I think it’s the taste of actual blood for both of them and the fact that they are just horny. Yukies in heat this week and well maybe it’s erotic or something for them. The only thing I can actually medically confirm is that Yukies in heat. My theory though is that they are just horny mates and blood drinking is a deeper connection almost like a safety net and what’s happening now is more of a reassurance for them both. Whatever it is though I don’t think Yukie was every going to kill anyone and I don’t think he would have ever let Innosuke do such a thing. Yukie may be completely different from any other demon you treat but he’s pretty grounded when it comes to protecting us all, the guards around him are for our safety not his.” Yuen added as he playfully nudged Cory finding the topic heavy. “Trust me though….it’s not uncommon for demons to sudden go crazy when in heat or for demons that need blood and that aren’t settled into the habit to go crazy. I’ve had one to many instances of walking into a room in action like what they are doing.” Yuen admitted as he cleared his throat having started packing his bags the moment that he saw Yukie snuggling up to Innosuke.

“Y-Yes” Yukie squeaked out his body instantly burning under the slightest tough from his mate. Letting out a small moan as he felt Innosukes tongue on his neck Yukie could only whimper in need the demon already hard under Innsouke. “Innosuke…I-I I’m a little scared.” Yukie admitted having never been marked before let alone bitten when it wasn’t for fighting purposes.

Corey blinked as he looked back at the room as he blinked “In Yukie is in heat and Innosuke is in Heat this could be pretty back, me and my mat destroyed his room at his parents our first shared night of heat it was aweful when we woke up the next day I remember his brother  walking in and screaming he thought we murdered each other” Corey chuckled as he helped Yuen gather some things and looked at his arm “we should get that cleaned properly and stitch it up”

Innosuke froze softly as he hear Yukie say he was scared “d-do you not want me to “ innosuke stammered out as Yukie didn’t seem afraid of him but more so afraid of being marked though he recalled finding condoms in the bathroom at the house and snagged a few and out them in his wallet incase on their way home things got spicy but if Yukie was truly afraid he would stop before going that far even the biting part “I won’t if you tell me no” innosuke added as he held his mate in his own arms closely.
