Innosuke smiled as he wrapped an arm around Yukie “I’d love a tour whenever you are ready”. Innosuke said as leaned in to whisper into Yukies ear “I think I’d like to see the bedroom last” innosuke teased softly as he touched his mates upper back as he looked at this large place and thought how his mom would be so happy to live in a place to put all her magazines and make up even her scenes for her shoots.

“Well if be happy to oblige.” Yukie replied with a smile as he lead Innosuke inside the house showing him each room and point of interest along with some new rooms like an observatory and a sulking tower for the dramatic demon. “That’s basically it. I mean there’s quite a few empty rooms to still be filled.” Yukie explained as he walked into the kitchen and grabbed a sealed blood bottle from the fridge the fridge freshly stocked with food and snacks the guards had got. “Oh and the building outside the slightly smaller mansion is where all of my guards live. I find it easier the. Having them commute to me each day.” Yukie admitted as he sipped his drink.

Innosuke leaned against the wall and smiled “You built this big house all for yourself and never planned to live here?” Innosuke asked remembering yukie called Yue and Yuens massive home built into a cave or surrounded by one at least his home also, though innosuke didn’t plan to bring up this fact as he was just happy to have a place to call theirs where a family could flourish and bloom into such amazing things “So I’m half vampire and you are the demon I wonder what our kids may look like or what they would be” innosuke trailed off imagining small Yukies running around driving Yukie crazy and driving innosuke through a wall because of the random array of gifts this thought made innosuke chuckle to himself.

“Well I travel a lot. I’m not home often enough to live here at times it was easier to just stay at some sanctuaries or closer to where Yuen and Yue live” Yukie explained as he set down his drink. “I’ll be gone all day tomorrow with work. I have things to check on in the human world just to make sure everything I’ve been setting up is running smoothly.” Yukie warned Innosuke as he sat down on a barstool. “There will be times I have to leave in an instant in many forms and various way of leaving. I hope that’s okay.” Yukie asked as he knew it would be a lot for most people to handle. As Yukie thought over having children he frowned a little. “I’m not sure though they most likely will stick to one demon type if my theory is right, my ability to change forms like I can wasn’t made naturally so I don’t think they would be able to inherit it.” Yukie replied with a shrug as he hadn’t thought that far when it came to having kids. “But I could be wrong…hopefully they take after you, I think being able to change so much would be hard on them” Yukie admitted as he sipped his drink again.

“it’s fine but you have to promise to call me when you can”Innosuke said jokingly though he knew Yukie might anyway softly innosuke walked over and touched his cheek “Regardless of what they look like or what gifts they have they will be a part of us and will be loved wholeheartedly no matter what, though I agree changing so often may be hard on children I’d be just as happy if they were human or a vampire because they are ours” Innosuke said before lightly kissing Yukies head hugging him softly trying to show him that it did not matter to him if they had gifts or not as long as they were with Yukie he would love and care for them no matter what.

“I’m glad you feel that way, if only more demons and humans saw it like you did.” Yukie replied with a smile as he snuggled into Innosuke. “Now then. How about I show you our room?” Yukie asked as he took Innosukes hand wanting to show him how giant and comfy the bed was.

”ah. Sorry to interrupt but one of the elders is on the line. He says it’s urgent.” One of the guards replied as he stood holding a phone his hand covering the speaker.

”this late?” Yukie replied as he raised a brow and letting go of Innosukes hand walked over and took the phone stepping into the other room. “Yeah. Ah, thank you for calling….I should be able to get there tonight.” Yukie replied as he stood in the other room talking to Rownan on the phone his voice overly concerned. “Relax. I’ll go there right now and see what I can do and sort this all out.” Yukie reassured the Centaur as he hung up and walked back out handing the phone to the guard. “Innosuke, I need to head out. I shouldn’t be more than an hour, it’s a human demon disagreement and I need to settle it in person.” Yukie explained as he gently walked over and kissed Innosukes cheek. “Make yourself comfy and if you need anything the head of security is this one here.” Yukie added as he pointed to the man who brought him the phone. Turning around quickly he grabbed his shoes and stepped out of the doorway stretching so he could easily change forms to get where he needed quicker.

“Yeah let’s go…” Innosuke said before suddenly hearing a voice ask for Yukies attention he felt Yukies hand slip from his as he stood there somewhat annoyed but understood it had to be urgent if Yukie had to take it in another room innosuke only looked at the guard who was standing there and innosuke watched him carefully, something about the guy standing there gave innosuke an uneasy feeling maybe it was cause he wasn’t talking or maybe because he hadn’t seen him before, Innosuke shrugged the feeling off as he looked to see Yukie coming back.

Yukie explained he had to go but would be back soon and that the guy in front of him was head of security meaning Yukie trusted this person innosuke stood there and nodded “be safe if you need to call me I’ll be here, Maybe I’ll go out back near the trees and find some rabbits “Innosuke said as he was getting pekkish and figured animals in the woods would work that or blood bottles from the fridge. Yukie had kissed him and took off and Innosuke looked up at the guard “Uh I’m Innosuke, thank you for protecting Yukies Home” innosuke said not sure if this guy followed Yukie or stayed here while Yukie was out.

“Hello there I’m Sen. I work as head of all the guards trained to protect all demons and Yukie. My goal when Yukie is gone is to serve and protect you.” Sen replied as he smiled softly at Innosuke. “I’m the one who packed up your items from your place and set them in a spare room.” Sen explained as he looked at Innosuke. “I do ask you don’t hunt the wildlife here, we have a wide range of blood tablet types to blood wine, to actual blood if you’re hungry.” Sen offered as he walked over to a smaller fridge under the counter full of actual blood bags.

“I see, efficient “ Innosuke said as he followed the guard named Sean as he bent down to grab a bag, unsure of a type he grabbed one Labled O and softly turned to sit on the bar stool, pulling the clip off he sucked through the tubing like a straw as he tilted his head “So like what do you do when Yukie isn’t here?” Innosuke asked not really use to guards or anyone talking to him outside of Yukies family.

“Well, I water the plants, feed the fish, you know basic care of this place. I make sure any repairs are done and that the maids and gardeners take good care of the home.” Sen explained as he relaxed by the counter. “I keep track of when Yukie stops by to make sure there’s food and fresh towels and clothes, just kinda the jack of all trades.” Sen finished as he went to the fridge and helped himself to a drink. “What about you? You can do anything without Yukie here anything tickle your fancy?” Sen asked as he sipped his drink trying to be polite.

“First time here and the first time without Yukie for this long so not exactly sure what o can do as this may be Yukie and I’s home this is a new place for me” innosuke explained as he looked up “You saw my room which mean you saw my art book and the pictures of the school and sky so you already know more about me then most ever do” innosuke rested his chin on his palm as he looked at sen something about him seemed off how much of innosukes room did he actually just grab and not look at, how much of innosukes like did this person know, after all he didn’t see his bike out front so it’s possible that it was gone for good though it wasn’t anything fancy. “What all did you go through while you grabbed my things from my studio apartment” he asked with a curious tone.

“I was ordered to be discreet and not inspect just pack though, you have an interestingly lead life. If you wish to continue modeling or any of your hobbies I can have it arranged.” Sen offered as he looked over at two men hauling in some furniture sets for a few rooms and another carrying a bag with a beautifully colored koi. “Yukies orders were for us to make you happy.” Sen explained as he sipped his drink and watched the men unload a truck of supplies.

Innosuke turned and watched them and turned back “I’m never going to get used to this am I?.” Innosuke said as he continued drinking from the bag as he looked back at Sen who mentioned modeling “You saw the magazines, meaning you looked in the box in the shelf…” innosuke said as he covered his face slightly embarrassed at how his mom would send him the magazine with little notes inside of how proud she was that the makeup she did looked fantastic on his skin as well as how the lighting affected the shot or other things that she hated or liked about the pictures, So innosuke kept them though he shoved them in a box and put them on his shelf incase she ever cared to visit he could give them back.

“It’s a lot to get use to. Trust me my first week working here was crazy with the elders visiting daily along with Yuen and Yue it was a lot” Sen admitted with a small chuckle glad everyone had came together back then to make Yukie an actual home that would last long term. Raising a brow at the mention of the magazines Sen blush as he looked away. “Yeah…I tried not to peek but for security we had to check everything. Your mother reminds me of my father…always never good enough except when it comes to him. He’s not to thrilled I took up guarding Yukie he wanted me to have nothing to do with him since you know I got turned back when he was first put into society. My father ever since then has been upset I didn’t open a private guards practice or at least join a task force.” Sen explained as he watched his men moving furniture into one of the spare rooms. “But what can you do.” Sen added with a shrug as he looked at the clock realizing they had chatted the hour away. “Seems the prince is running late. Would you like to join us for dinner?” Sen offered knowing the guards where making pork chops.

Listening to sen talk innosuke let out a laugh as he waved his hand “No I get it, honestly I hated doing that her makeup made me look like a girl a lot of people couldn’t even tell it was me when I was younger but as I got older she decided to include my body in those photos since then she would give me a copy by mail every single one of those magazines are literally me even the ones with the long hair it’s her magazines, If you want them you can have them, as for your dad he will come around I mean you are keeping 2 people safe and maybe the future kids also”Inosuke smiled softly as he glanced at the clock, Yukie had said an hour and sen must of noticed the unease in innosuke’s face as it was past the time Yukie said and instead of being mean he offered dinner “Uh yeah can we um text Yukie and tell him where I went so he doesn’t think I just left?” Inosuke said worried Yukie would come home to see no one there and think Inosuke just got bored and left the house forever.

“Ha I doubt that…my father isn’t accepting of demons. He wasn’t happy I didn’t ask to be changed to a human after my year was up. I don’t think he will ever be accepting.” Sen admitted as he watched the men finish carrying in Innosukes stuff. “Anyway, yeah why don’t you text him on our phone. He always answers our messages since it’s an emergency phone.” Sen offered as he slid his phone over to Innosuke the phone already open to Yukies number so he could text straight away.

Innosuke nodded feeling like he could understand he knew his parents wouldn’t be happy specifically his dad is why they decided to not tell them at all, Sean slid his phone over and told him to text Yukie innosuke nodded typing out ~ Yukie I am at the guard house eating dinner please come find me when you get home, I love you. Sincerely your mate Innosuke~ innosuke hit send as he passed it back “Thank you Sean I’m ready now” innosuke grabbed his blood back that he was still sipping on like a caprisun that you don’t want to end so you take the smallest of sips.

“Yukie said he will be running late but will be back in the morning. Things apparently have become messy leagaly wise so he’s having to figure things out.” Sen replied as he read the message out loud. “So at most he will be back in time for breakfast at worst late afternoon.” Sen explained as he looked at Innosuke. “Would you like me to stay in the guest room tonight? Help ease the strangeness of sleeping in a new place?” Sen offered knowing his first few nights where hard when he was without his mate.

Innosuke nodded to hearing the news of Yukie being late, with a sigh sen must of seen innosukes sadness as he offered hope to innosuke as he smiled softly as he was offered to have another stay with him so he wasn’t so alone in a house he was new to “Um sure, I don’t think I should be left alone in the house I may get lost “ innosuke said as he laughed to himself.

“I give you a week before you figure it out.” She replied with a smile as he lead Innsouke off to the manor the building busy and loud as the men served up the food. The manor was full of laughter and happy men all sitting down at various tables or off relaxing since they had a rare day off from traveling or patrolling the house consisting of two shifts of men patrolling Yukies home and traveling with him out and about. The day shift was the one here enjoying spending some time with the few tiered night shift men. “Ahem! Everyone, this is Innosuke. Master of the house and Yukies mate. I trust you’ll all behave and not give him to hard of a time.” Sen teased getting a few laughs from the women and some cheeky wolf whistles. Leading the way Sen made himself a plate and mentioned to Innsouke too help himself.

Innosuke followed as he looked around there seemed to be so many innosuke looked outside seeing the sky as his attention was dragged back to the room he waved after the introduction made by Sen who wanted innosuke to feel welcome before going and grabbing food innosuke followed and though the food smelled great and he really wanted it he didn’t feel comfortable just taking the food instead he sipped from the bag he had as he shook his head “Its okay, I’ll eat this for now and if I get hungry I’ll grab something” innosuke said to Sean as he was more worried about Yuki as he glanced out the window catching the moon and sighed hoping Yuki was looking at the moon too as Innosuke hadn’t heard a goodnight from Yukie or even a I’ll be home soon text.

Sen watching Innsouke smiled softly as he got up and carrying his plate dragged Innsouke by the crook of his arm off to a quiet room. “Let’s call him. I don’t think he’s unable to call or video chat.” Sen offered as he pulled out his phone and called the number the phone ringing three times before answering.

”Mngh hello?” Yukie asked his voice a little groggy and a whisper as he sat in his room the demon keeping quiet.

Innosuke followed behind send to a quiet room as he offered to call Yukie which made innosuke smile all he wanted was to hear his loves voice the first night after having been in heat all day it finally calmed and yet innosuke felt pain mostly in his chest but he didn’t wanna admit the pain to anyone Sean sat down and Innosuke sat beside him and the call was made innosuke became jittery and nervous after hearing Yukies voice Innosuke smiled and sighed and he leaned into the phone “Babe did I wake you?” Innosuke asked as he wanted for a response

“A little. It’s been a rough four hours negotiating, but we have come to a conclusion and well I should be home tomorrow morning provided traffic is light in the city.” Yukie replied as he let out a small yawn. “I would video chat….but I’m not allowed to under the circumstances and I can’t really explain right now…what the meeting was about.” Yukie admitted as he sighed sounding frustrated and exhausted with his work. “I missed you though. I can’t wait to go back to you.” Yukie added as he chuckled knowing Sen was most likely listening to them. “I hope you’ve been well cared for. If not I’ll have to beat up some guards.” Yukie threatened with a small chuckle.

Yukie’s smile could be heard through the phone as Innosuke smiled wider and with a soft wince that he kept held back as best he could he spoke “it’s okay tell me later when you can but I just I needed to hear your voice it feels like it’s been years since I had” innosuke said knowing it wasn’t that long ago that he heard Yukie’s voice as innosuke smiled softly as he looked at sen as yukie spoke about being treated well “They offered me food but I’m not hungry right now I’m still working on a blood bag from after you left..” Innosuke admitted as he turned his head to the side “I need to get my own phone for you and I to talk like this for the future….” Innosuke added knowing there would be days probably weeks where seeing Yukie would be a huge problem.
