”please your kind are dying out admit it. Your most likely the last of your kind other then those old coots. Doesn’t help the spawn kill their mothers.” Fae added from the bathroom as he was scrubbing the shower spotless. “From the demon records there’s only four shape shifting demons in existence. ”Ignore him. He’s just spouting rumors like fairies do.” Yukie mumbled as he walked over and grabbed a small black bag from his dresser and walked out to the living room and to a smaller closet that was tucked back at the end of a hallway. “There are three types of portals. A physical one that’s in the form of a piece of technology that shows you free access portals these come as a phone or a watch. The second one is a home portal that’s a mirror or a closet that can’t be opened without a key or special charm and is only useable to the demon that owns it. Then there’s the blood portal old school travel that can be created on the spot.” Yukie explained as he showed Alex his phone app and how to use it alongside his permanent door portal he was standing in front of.

“Phone is the most common now a days with selections in where you want to go and how to get there. I draw out portals because that’s how I was taught but you can easily access an area with a pre existing portal on the map on your phone.” Yukie added showing Alex how he did everything as he explained. “Blood portals are only done by my kind. We learned how to make other types for other demons though hence the phones and mirrors that are used.” Yukie admitted as he took out some black chalk from the bag and started drawing the symbols on his phone the chalk glowing as he wrote. Finishing his work Yukie pricked of his finger with his canine and put the blood in the middle of the glowing circle, and opened the door showing a good sized bus stop.

Looking out at a bustling city with many demons walking around Yukie relaxed a little at the familiar sounds and smells. “Phone and blood portals are two way so you need to make sure you close it after humans have and can stumble into them even with our defenses.” Yukie suddenly remembered while turning to look at Alex finally. Gently taking his lovers hand he stepped through pulling Alex towards the city bristling with life. “This is the central area. It’s full of food and shopping.” The demon mentioned as he looked around at the shops selling various wares and works of art.

Incidentally, he also heard about Yukie's family situation, or whatever its demonic equivalent would be. He wasn't quite sure what to think when Fae mentioned that Yukie's kind was dying out, and only four of them were known to be still living in this world. "Well, it sure sounds a lot more convenient than cars and planes," Alex said, decided not to touch upon the whole dying race part. He watched as the demon opened the portal and stepped through the threshold following him, and before long he found himself standing in the midst of a bustling city with countless demons of all shapes and sizes walking around. While Yukie seemed rather chill in this environment, Alex on the other hand was filled with both awe and excitement. "This is... incredible!" He muttered as he looked around like a child in a toy store. od knows when was the last time he experienced such pure wonderment like this. Staying close to Yukie he asked: "So, where shall we start? I do hope getting one of those portal phones here in the underworld isn't as tedious as getting one in the human world."

“It’s one of the lesser busy cities I didn’t want to overwhelm you with the size of our world” Yukie admitted as he took his lovers hand holding it closely. At the mention of the phone Yukie chuckled. “No no, it’s rather easy but we need to get you accounted for. Basic demon ID and a bank account to move money over to. While human money is accepted here most people use their phones to pay.” Yukie explained the demon side being quite involved with technology since his family owned most of the businesses that created or supplied everything.

“It won’t take long I have some push to get you seen easily and quickly though we might run into my fathers.” Yukie admitted knowing they would be out and about in the busier city that they would enter from the bus ride. “We will be heading deep into the hugest city for your paperwork and if your lucky I’ll show you my favorite spots from home~.” Yukie teased as he watched a bus pull up and lead the way on paying for both of them with his phone before taking a seat towards the back. “Feel free to ask any questions though! I mean it’s a lot to learn about and take in.” Yukie admitted.
