No Password needed for patch.

 

To install the game: (your computer should be in japanese for the game to work correctly)

I installed the game on Windows 7, I don't know if it is different for Windows XP.

 

Download all the files to one folder, once everything is downloaded, extract to get .iso file.

You will get something like this:

 

You won't have the .data and .text file, to get them, extract alsignup_100723b.exe (Application) in the same folder. You need to extract the patch in order for it to work!

 

Don't patch the game until you have installed the game!

 

Use Daemon Tools to mount the image.

Click run.

You will get something like this:

 

The first option is to install, click that one.

 

 

 

click next (N) and agree (A) as needed.

 

Once you get up to this step:

 

Choose the 2nd one, choosing the first option won't install the game (at least for me it didn't).

 

 

Finish installing, you will get a popup saying it is finished, then AFTER you extracted the patch, (you will have the .data and the .text files) run the patch.

If success, you will get something like this:

 

 

 

You now have Omerta - Chinmoku no Okite to play! YESS!

Hi, I have installed the game up to the part where I am suppose to run the patch. But for some reason it doesnt work. I used 7zip to extract the data and text file, then run the patch (alsignup_100723b). However it pops up saying it cant find a particular file and im not sure why.

 

Something like AlphaDisclog.txt cannot be found...

Hi there!!!! well i just have a BIG problem and I was wondering if someone could help me please!!! i just installed the game,but the English patch just don't seem to work! I tried to locate the carpet in the same place as omerta_m is and it didn't worked.

the game woks out perfectly!!!... but its in Japanese!! u.u can someone could help me please!!!?? ill be very grateful ....well thanks for your time ^^

you need to run the installation as administrator...thats the only reason why i think its giving you an error like that...

The video is no longer working since it's been removed Also, I extracted the files and everything, but couldn't get the patch to work, and thus couldn't open the game (it says settec: an internal exception has occurred). Like every time, I clicked on the cracked patch, I'd get AlphaLogDisc.txt. Then I uninstalled it and re-installed it. But, I'm still getting AlphaLogDisc..

It would be great if someone could re-upload the video, so I can see where I'm going wrong. Thank you, I would really appreciate it!!

Hey Guys. I have googled, gone through so many posts and I haven't seen some of the issues I have posted.

So in short.. I have tried everything that I have read.. I'm sure I forgot things to add in this description

-Locale & Region set to Japan, Installed with Daemon Tools.

-I've downloaded and installed different Omerta downloads to see if that was the issue as well

-joined with HJsplit

-Tried various compatibility modes & running as admin

-uninstalled and re-installed this game 50 times or more.

I'm ready to pull my hair out!! Please save me from going bald!

 

On to the problems!!

 

Errors I and weird problems when installing/running on Windows 8.

 

 

Ok here are the weird issues:

(not sure why post is putting a space inbetween 'noir' when I type KarinChatnoirOmega -but there is no space when it created that folder - so ignore that)

 

-If I try to install it as 'windows user' it installs it into a weird place :

C:\Users\Amanda\AppData\Local\Programs\KarinChatnoirOMEGA\omerta

-If I run the install as Admin and choose 'Windows User' it also installs to:

C:\Users\Amanda\AppData\Local\Programs\KarinChatnoirOMEGA\omerta

-If I run install as Admin & choose 'Admin' instead of 'windows user' it does install to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\KarinChatnoirOMEGA\omerta

 

~~Next weird issue~~

When I run the patch, it puts the "AlphaDiscLog.txt" into my C:\ (which of course gives me that [1503] AlphaDiscLog.txt error)

-No SETTEC folder is ever created in

C:\Users\Amanda\Documents\

-In order to NOT get that AlphaDiscLog.txt error when patching, I had to create that folder myself:

-C:\Users\Amanda\Documents\SETTEC\

No SETTEC folder would be automatically created for me either, I had to make one myself like you. But anyways, this is what worked for me. I found out from some other forum that I had to un-install a windows update from back in December 2012. I know its random, but it worked.

 

Go to control panel --> Uninstall a program --> View installed updates:

MAKE SURE YOU UNINSTALL:

Security Update for Microsoft Windows KB2753842

Security Update for Microsoft Windows KB2758857

 

Uninstalling those updates worked for me. Again, we have different windows operating systems. And maybe you'll have to uninstall a different update, but it should be in the november 2012 to january 2013 timeframe if these aren't the right updates for you. Trust me, I spent several days trying to figure out how to get the game to work. I lost quite a bit of hair when I was pulling it out in frustration as well. Bad jokes aside, I hope everything will work out for you and anyone else who had problems with getting omerta to work! ! Best of luck =)

Sadly, I'm having a problem finishing this download aswell >: (I have windows 7 though and my computer does the same thing with the files lol)

 

I did everything in the exact order, including the extracting/.data .text/installing/running alsignup_100723b.exe ... Sadly though, when I run the alsignup application (trying as admin aswell) I get "DCOC91141954065530HD..." -- basically the same pictures as you posted.

 

Im officially at a loss as to how to fix this... I tried uninstalling both of the windows updates too >:

I feel your frustration! I even tried changing around permissions for the alsignup_1007236.exe to see if that was an issue..

tried changing permissions on a few things... and nada

Re-installed again.. going to keep trying because I'm so freaking stubborn!!

One weird thing I just noticed when poking around, is that on most of the AlphaDiscLog.txt it creates, if you open it up it notepad it has

[ERROR_CODE]

Code=1503

BUT I have had another AlphaDiscLog.txt that had:

[ERROR_CODE]

Code=2100

 

no idea why it gave me different ones.. but regardless still the same issue

 

I'm curious what the contents of the AlphaDiscLog.txt looks like for the people that are able to run the game.

Hello, I have a problem with the game every time I run it nothing happens.

I look into different topic and try to settle the problem but nothing still, this is the only bl game does not work on my computer.

on my task manager, omerta is just display a few seconds until it appears more.
