Bio: Kaito never knew his family ever since he could remember. He's been raised in the system and never was adopted by someone because of one incident that happened when he was 8 where he accidentally burned the foster house down. Ever since, everyone tried to avoid him, considering him a menace. But he was just different than all the children around him. And he found out soon about that as he got himself locked in books, helping him coping with loneliness. Books where his escape. 

When he turned 18 and out of the system, he was alone with no place to stay and no money to go through the day. That didn't discouraged him since he has been feeling that way all his life, but thanks to some humans that he encounter along the way that were kind hearted to him and helped him, he managed to start the journey of his life. 

The elders that took him in to work for them in their small café where kind to him and treat him as a family which he never knew how it felt like. But as he spend his time with them he felt more comfortable and started trysting people thanks to them. They also put him in school since he was a book worm and he just graduated before they died of old age. They left the cafe to him but he hasn't been able to keep it up and running all by himself so eventually he sold it and opened an office. A detective office in hopes of finding his parents but also helping others in need as him or with other matters. 

Doing researches on himself and try to track old steps he found out that at least his name was one given by his original parents before leaving him at the steps of the orphanage.  What he also found out was a symbol that it was like a tattoo on the side of his waist which was a rune for protection. Would that mean he was a wizard? Remembering some stuff that happened during his years, that might make a lot of sense now.

Through his research, Kaito found out about a library in town that he has missed from his list. It was one dedicated to old scrolls and even more history of the place and the world, which he thought it would be a good idea to visit it and check it out. It was  a start in hopping to find something more about his lineage and what he was. All he had figured out was that he had some sort of magic and that it had its ups and downs from time to time. Some days his magic was completely worn out, leaving him be a simple human, and other times it was hard to control. 

He was still struggling with controlling his powers but everything needed time and he was sure that he was going to manage to keep it in check as he would get older. Curious to see if he could find anything about himself and other supernatural beings he drove to the library, parking a few blocks away from it, taking his bag with his notebook and journal and headed inside. 

The library was in an old building looking like a small castle but as soon as he entered it he was amazed of how him it was. The walls were covered in bookshelf's from the ground to the ceiling. And this was only at the entrance. There was a big hall with different vending machines for people to get drinks and foods and somewhere on the side a little far back was the reading area which had big wooden doors with strange markings, revealing another hall full with tables and chairs. 

He saw this type of arrangement only in universities but this really fit the picture. In the middle of the main hall was a reception desk where he greeted the lady and sign in so that he can go further inside. He had to lie, saying that he needed access for a paperwork that he had to do about history and myth, showing the lady a fake ID and he got through. 

Stepping further in, the smell of old paper and leather filled his nostrils and lungs, making him sigh. He liked the smell and the tingling on his fingertips of excitement of reading parchments and all other old books. 

The place was even more huge after he entered, not knowing where to start and what to look for. At the level shelfs he saw some alchemy old books covered in leather dating hundreds of years ago. But that would be for later. Now he was looking for history and myths, so basically what he said the lady at the reception was partially true. 

Reading the book titles he found something that clicked with him and made him curious. There was a thick book that had the title of 'Moonlit Obsidian' on it and it felt like it was calling him. The only problem was that it was on a higher shelf and there was no ladder around. Sighing he arranged his bag on the bag , reaching up to try and touch the book, trying to get it off the shelf. 

Seeing that he couldn't reach it he sigh, looked around making sure there was no one to find him and he started to climb the lower shelfs, reaching up to get the book.

Bio: Asher is a very strong individual. He likes to keep himself busy doing some physical hard work and isn't much fan of desk work.

After college he enrolled into the military. He was working as special forces for two years before his father the alpha retired and called his sons home for alpha training.

Asher love and adore his pack and the people in it. He dosen't have many human friends but still keep close contact with the once he got from back in shool. Asher belive they should respect the old traditions as his parents has tought him. But at the same time he thinks is okay to bent or ajust a few for welfare of the pack it todays more moden ways.

Asher and his indentical twin brother Logan are like two peas in a pot with each. And yet they still manage to not be anything alike. Asher is the strongest and Logan is the brain. Logan has the exact same physique eventhough he spents most of his time behind his computer or phone. He is knowledgeable about handling pack business. And Asher often wonder if it wouldn't serve the pack better if his brother was the only alpha.

As it isn't normal to have two alphas.

Asher just don’t know if he really ever will find his purpose. He lookes up to Logan but he has always felt like an extra for his more talented brother. Whom seems to live the perfect life.

Asher tense to have a closed persona with new people but is loyal to his friend and family. He has quite a temper, and once he gets pissed off you'll know it. Otherwhise he is a chilled kinda guy.

"COME ON!" A loud voice yelled out from the crowd surrounding the two men in a circle.

The Alpha snickered as it was clear to everyone whom had the upper hand in this fight. The punk was keeping up a good stand against him and wasn't backing down.

Asher like that look in his eyes too. Everyone knew he didn't alowed pussies into the warrior squad. He was brave to have request this match to prove himself to Asher as per tradition. And Asher wasn't going easy on him. The man's bloody nose was dripping down his chin after Asher had broke the guy's nose with a straight hit to the face. Asher didn't love to torture the new faces, but he had to see and jugde the other's skills. The young punk wasn't a particular good fighter but with some training he could be. Asher thought as the other lunched himself right at him. Asher took on his assault and the guy got him right in the ribs. Asher bite back a groan as he felt the bone crack on inpact. Asher let up his guard and kicked the other's feets out from under him.

The punk landed with a loud 'thud' and the crowd called out the end of the match.

The young man sat up o  his knees with his head slightly bowed to Asher. "I admit my defeat alpha" he said trying not to look too disapointed.

He wasn't sure he really had proven much to his alpha. He hadn't expected to win in the first place. But he had hoped to impress. This was his second attempt to convince everyone and especially alpha Asher that he was that he had what it would take to get into the warrior program. Now he just haft to await the alpha's decision.

Asher had taken his towel and was wiping his face. He used the time to think while all eyes watched him expectingly. There were even som of the warriors present and they were assessing the young wolf quitely. They had all been through the same thing a few years back.

"You've improved from last time I can tell and you've got more strenght behind your hits" Asher said as he rubbed his side where the broken rib was beginning to heal. "Now I finally see something but you still got a long way" Asher said as he turned to go get something from his bag.

The young wolf was looking after Asher's back. He felt so nervous that he could almost feel his breakfast crawling back up. His nose had stopped bleeding but his nose still didn't look too pretty.

When Asher turned back to him with a black letter everyone seemed to hold their breath around them.

"You got potential Erin even if it's a small one. I expects you to work 10 times harder and maybe you'll one day get to stand by my side as these guys here" Asher said as he pointed towards the warriors, whom all gave the young punk a grin from each.

Erin jumped to his feets and took the black envelope before the alpha could change his mind. "Thank you alpha! I promise to give it my all for the pack"

The people around erupted in cheers. Everyone even the warrior was was genuine happy for the young wolf. Eventhough he was just a trainee he still rose in rank and if he got through and was appointed with a warrior status his place in the pack would be a privileged one. 

Asher excused himself from the crowd with a smile. It was always good to have more people wanting to work hard for the pack and he had a feeling Erin would do well.

Asher grabbed his bag and left after he had checked the time he left. His mother had invitet him and his brother over to their parents place for lunch. He just has enough time to go take a shower and get dressed. Although his mother had seen him in a worse state as a kid he still didn't want to show up smelling as he did.

The training hall was located in the basement of a huge building. It was the main building owned by the pack where the alpha's family and other high ranked members lived. It was also the biggest building in the entire city. Almost every pack member regularly came by each day. There were a meeting hall and officers on the lower levels. Asher and Loganeach both lived on driffrent floors but their parents had completly moved out when the former Alpha retired. The couple now had a nice little beach house, which had been a vacation retrieve when they were younger.

Asher walked to the elevator and got in. He pushed the button to his floor and entered his private code to make the floor accessible.

Suddenly his phone began buzzing in his jacket and Asher expected himself to take out his phone. Asher looked at the phone to see whom the caller was before answering.

"This is Asher" Asher said with a gentle smile tucked on his lips as the doors closed.

"Hi Asher it's Noah." A friendly bright voice sounded in the other end. "I just called to say that I finished your order and you can just drop on by whenever it suits you best.

"Nice. I trust your keen eye on this. Im sure your style will be really eye catching and with the location I have in mind you might be flooded with request" Asher said as he couldn't wait to see Noah's beayuiful art displayed in the building.

Noah was a friend of his from college. He was human but that didn't really matter to Asher as he usally didn't discriminate what other's tented to call lesser beings. Humans were smart and passionate just like some supernatural beings and Noah was a real nice guy.

He didn't exactly remember how they had ended up as friends but he liked him. Noah had been studying art and after college he had begun working on his own stuff and even opened his own studio. After college they hadn't seen each much but when Noah had brought up his studio back then Asher just had to go see. When he saw Noah's paintings he had thought of a great way to help his friend out and asked Noah if he would be interested in doing some display pieces for his pack buildings. It was a good way for Noah to get his name out there and make a good amount of money to keep his studio going.

"I can come by tomorrow if that’s fine with you. Lunch on he" Asher said as the elevator showcased eached floor as he went up.

Noah sounded like he did a high five in the air. "From that Italian place right?!" He asked excitedly"

"Sure. Bit I'm amazed you aren't sick of that stuff by now since I bring you the same every time" Asher laughed.

"I could never get sick of it! That food is like heavin in a to-go-box" Noah protested. He was used to Asher teasing him about his tast in food but with what he was earning all he usally ate ramen or cheap microwave dishes. Suddenly there was a sound of a Bell in the background and Noah said there was a customer so he had to go.

Even with climbing he wasn’t able to reach it so, stepping down he took a deep breath and concentrate on his power. Glancing at the book, he started waving his hand into slow moves and a gust of light wind started to low in the books direction, helping into pushing it closer to the edge until it fell. Kaito caught the book, checking again around him to see if someone saw him doing so, and then stepped into the reading area, taking a sit at the furthered table to keep himself alone.

 

The book was wrapped in leather with small markings on the cover and in the middle, there was a star and the moon on it in silver with the script underneath of the title. As he opened he felt electric static in his fingertips that travelled through his entire body, feeling like a wind of energy, making him better than before.

 

As he flipped the paged he found a family tree with different names in in and some empty spots, like the paper was scratched with an eraser to remove the pictures and names from there. As another page was flipped, he read about what the Monlits and the Obsidians were but not what race it was. The only information that there was stated that thy are both followers of the night. What was their origins, their powers and why they were important.

 

Further in as he dived into the lecture, he found a prophecy talking about two creatures coming together and bringing back balance into the world, human and supernatural. But they only specified that two races.

 

(this doesn’t make any sense …. There are a lot of races in the supernatural that could be involved in this prophecy. Does anyone know about it?)

 

Thinking that he looked around to see if he could see anyone checking on him but there were only 5 people in the whole room. So this was okay.

 

As he continued reading he found out more information about the Monlit in which it was stated that they were followers of the moonlight. They were magus. Warlocks that were using the source of moonlight to sustain their powers.

 

(so they are like me …. I am … a moonlit …. )

 

As he was about to check the Obsidians the earth shake under him and a bomb shook the window glasses of the room, blowing the bookshelfs up in the air. Kaito shaken his head as he didn’t know what just happened and tried to see the book and try to put it in his bag. He was still confused of what just happened as he never heard of bombing a library. Who would do that.

 

Getting on his feet he looked around him and the people that were in the reading room with him were trying to get out from under the table towards the exit. His ears were ringing as he was trying to get away but stumble through the broken stuff on the floor.

 

He started hearing voices behind him asking to find the book as fast as possible so he only turned his head for a second and noticed the person that was giving directions but all he could notice was that they were humans in some weird black clothes with bows and swords on their back, just like in movies.

 

Luckyly he managed to push through the doors and exit to the main hall before those people saw him. Coughing he managed to exit the place, brushing the dirt off of him, trying to find his way home.

 

(what the fuck was all that??? Why where they looking for this? That is not normal … they were not normal for sure ….. but they were looking like humans … I didn’t see anything supernatural on them….)

After his phone call with Noah Asher reached his floor and went inside his apartment. He showed and shaved his afternoon shadow off before he went to pick out his clothes.

Asher's apartment was the entire top floor. Both brothers apartments were designed to be able to room their futur family. Right now Asher really only use half of the apartment which included the living room, kitchin and the master bedroom. There were 2 bathrooms but he mostly only used tje one conected to the bedroom. The bedroom itself was huge and set well with the big kingsized bed. There where walking closet on either side as you passed to the bathroom. Right now both were in used with Asher's clothes but it was suppose to be shared with his mate. Asher didn't really know if he would ever get one and he didn't like to dwel on it too much.

Asher chose a clean neat shirt and jeans. He wasn't gonna wear anything too formal to his parents home. His mother the later Luna was the kind of woman whom wanted people to be comfortable in her house.

After making himself looking presentable he took the elevator down to the basement to get to his car. He would normally have called Jerry to drive him. But Asher wanted to give his Beta the dat to himself. Jerry had just gotten marriged and the couple was still in their honeymoon spirit. A beside he did have a driver's license

Later after having packed all for the artwork going to the Odians company Noah called Kaito to find out if the other would be able to celebrate with him tonight. He also wanted to share the news with his childhoodfriend. 

Noah  held the phone up to his hear while he was locking up the shop. He listened the the sound when the call went through and waited till he hear Kaito pick it up.

"Hey Kaito are you free tonight? Cause I need you here celebrating with me. You know that bottle i had stored ever since I opened my gallery? Well tonight we are gonna pop that bad boy open. How fast can you get here?? I'm closing off now" Noah said and then waited for Kaito's reply.

After all that happened, he managed to reach the safety of his home, closing the door behind him. He was still not sure what the hell had happened and what was all that about but he was happy that he managed to escape in time.  

Brushing the dust off his clothes he stepped further in his apartment, leaving his bag on the sofa as he moved to undress himself and take a shower. Before he had stepped in the shower he had turned the tv as a background noise as he always did and stepped in the shower relaxing again.

Just when he got out and was drying his hair, he heard his phone buzz and the sound of notification. Checking the phone, he saw the message from his friend which made him forget about the whole incident that had happened in the library.

“Give me 20 minutes and I’ll be there”

He typed and started to get dressed right away. Noah was one of his oldest friends ever since he started his business here, presenting him the supernatural world. And Noah was kind of the only one that knew what he was because of an accident. But he knew Noah wouldn’t say anything to anyone. So his secret was safe.

The trip to the place Noah said took him the 20 minutes. As he reached the place he called his friend, waiting for him to pick up so that he could tell him where he is or to come get him.

Noah saw Kaito arrived through his upstairs apartment window and opened it just as he phone began to ring. "Come on up man!" Noah yelled down at the other with a big smile on his face. "I got the stuff and if you brought the magic this night is gonna get lid" blond man chuckled. He knew not to speak of Kaito abilities but he could still throw some teasing hints to really mess with him." It was always funny to see Kaito look around paniced only to find no one around. And even if there was they wouldn't get what Noah was hinting at.

"Come up. I'll buzz you in" Noah said and disappeared from the window as he went over the push a button on the door that made the outside door utter a buzzing noise to indicate it was open.

The inside stairway was clear but very old. In fact the entire building was rather rundown and it was a miracle the city hadn't taken this part of the old part down. To Noah it was great because the rent was cheap or else he wouldn't have been able to affort the studio. His apartment wasn't all that much either but he had made the place cozy and homey. He had tried to restrain himself from having art supplies take over the entire apartment but you could see evidence of paint on almost every surface in the living room. His old gray couch had some small spots of green, purple, black and white and the coffee table was just the same. Although you could see he had tried to wash them off.

It was a small two room apartment with one bedroom and kitchin and living-room. It was quite tiny but Noah wasn't too big of a guy so he kinda suited his living space.

Noah was waiting for Kaito with two glasses and a bottle. His face was light up brightly in a smile. He had washed and set his hair which he normally just ignore on most days.

"Great now that you are here I gotta tell you." Noah was vibrating with excitment and and pulled Kaito to the sofa. "Okay so you know I haven't called much these past few weeks right? Well I was doing this huge order from a college friend of mine. And when I it huge I really mean it. Gosh Kaito I can't belive I got 50 driffrent artworks down in my studio right now and 10 more in my bedroom because there wasn't room for the last pieces. What more Asher said he would pay my price whatever it was and He agreed with the amount I gave him. I can actually move my studio into one of those nice buildings now and even move closer to downtown." Noah looked at his friend the entire time to see his reaction to his news.

"I started off only letting Asher see a few of the works I already had i the studio for about half a month ago. Because he said he wanted to see some of my work. I never expected him to actually order any and definitely not 60 pieces. From what he told me They'll be showcased in the Odian company buildings. Which is a huge game changer for me. Do you even know how many people goes there? It like alot"

Kaito sigh hearing his friend yelling at him instead of answering his phone. Waking up the whole neighborhood wasn’t something that he was a fan of. But as soon as the buzz at the door rang, Kaito open it and got inside. Following the stairs to his apartment door, Kaito cursed through his breaths as he hated to exercise. Unfortunately, the place didn’t had an elevator as it was an old building.

As soon as he got in the apartment and placed his jacket away, Kaito was pulled on the sofa by his excited friend.

“Alright alright … Stop being a hyped dog when the owner gets home” he said teasing his friend. As Noah was usually teasing him about his powers so was he doing the same thing, teasing him with comparison to dogs. Some might think it wasn’t nice, but they were their inside jokes.

“Yeah, I was surprised you even called now. I thought you ran away with the circus” he laughed a little but turned his attention to his friend, listening him to what he was telling him.

“Oh wow …” he widened his eyes at the info. His friend was talented in arts and did really good art pieces but as it happens in the art industries, not many places wants to collaborate with newbies. And Noah was a newbie in the industry. But hearing this, that was big.

“Asher? You mean the arrogant guy from your pack?” he asked remembering the other had talked about him before. HE thought of him being an arrogant person because every time Noah was talking about the guy, he was always telling him about his achievements he did alongside his family and that he was one of the biggest wolfs families around.

“Let’s just celebrate your success for now” he said lifting up the glass waiting for the other to pour some alcohol. After the day he had, a little relaxation was well intended.

“And of course I’ve brought the magic you asked about” he said pouring some sparkling dust in their drinks to make the night more entertaining for them bot, but always responsible.

He huffed but wasn't too annoyed with him. Though it could have been funny if Noah actually had be a wolf for the other to call him that. He thought to himself. Unfortunately Noah was just a plain normal human and his only abilitie was his art and creative mindset.

He gave Kaito the middle finger when kaito threw the coment out about him running of with the circus. Noah had only joked about it back in high shool when he had felt so out of place with his peers.

But none of that killed his happy persona as he continued to tell his tell.

Noah didn't realize he had talked that much about his other friends to Kaito. It was a little embarressing how Kaito knew instantly who he was talking about without much hinting. Then again Asher was his only really wealthy friend and he had told Kaito about his time as a young teen inside the pack. "It's not my pack silly, I'm not a wolf remember. Ah but I ofte wish I were. Not a single wolf I've ever seen was bad looking and they are all very close like one big family. Heaves knows how much contact I had with my old folks once I moved out" Noah shrugged. "But yeah that him. Mighty fin fellow. He dosen't talk much about himself but he has this air around him. You can tell he is high up in the foodchain. Nice face, body and car. He is a total heartbreaker, but quite nice. We get along well." Noah smiled as he watched Kaito pull something out of his pocket.

They had a blast as the slowly began drinking the bottle up. It wasn't all that great but with the right company it didn't really matter. Noah what getting high pretty quickly. He brought them snacks and other drinkings from the fridge then talked, laughed and at some point ended up setting on a movie to watch.

Asher was uncomfortable eventuelt he was in comfortable clothin. He sat at the table with his parents, hos brother and his brother fiance. He had met his brother's fiance before and the person was a cute little omega female. She was nice and funny and so good at handling his brother. She wasn't the reason why he was uncomfortable. No he was uncomfortable because of all at the table he was the only single around and it was now the topic his parents chose to bring up.

Why he couldn't finde himself a serious partner like his brother. Or why de didn't try dating any of the people they introduce to him. Asher didn't want to talk about his love life with his family. "I just haven't meet anyone interesting who I want to pursue. And just because my brother found a mate, doesn't mean I would find mine right away too" he told them. "I love you all. But I'm more than happy to leave if you guys up going to repriment me the entire night" he said out flatly.

Kaito had some questions about this wolf guy but he didn’t want to be to intrusive in Noahs life. It was his business with whom he was spending his time or befriended himself. But from what he had read along the years, in his opinion, wolfs were unpredictable. They were still animals but in human shape. Though, their animal instincts where always there and possible dangerous at times.

Shaking those thoughts away, he returned to his friend company and their little celebration along with their drinks and snacks. It didn’t took him long to get high as well by the combination of alcohol and the powder that he brought, ending in laughing, talking and enjoying his friend company.

As the spirits calmed down and they settled for a movie, he couldn’t tell if it was still the high effect or his own soberness but feeling something about his friend leaned so close to him. He never had this problem before. They never done anything of the sort. They were really just friends. That’s why now, it was all too confusing to him to feel this strange for his friend.

“uhm … Noah … I don’t feel to good so better keep some distance in case I need to jump and head to the bathroom” he said taking a deep breath, moving a little to the end of the couch.

He felt a little dizzy again, but his vision was making Noah somehow glow a little. Maybe it was the light from the Tv or the high effect that was still in his system. He wasn’t actually feeling sick. Just wanted to put some small distance between him and Noah to not touch him as his skin felt like burning up.

Everyone at the table remain silent watching Asher burst his frustration at them. His parents sigh in unison as his brother looked at his fiancé and back at his brother.

The first to speak was his mother.

“Honey, we are not reprimenting you. We are just talking. If you need help in finding a good match for you, I can help you with that. I know some people that might be an interest for you” she started and his brother turn his head to their mother sighing, knowing what she meant and that his brother might not like it.

“You mean blind-dates mom?” said his brother shaking his head. “You know he doesn’t do that. It will not be the first time you try this” he reached to his fiances hand under the table, holding her hand to find his ground.

“Give him some time. I’m sure he will find someone suited for him if you stop bugging him” he said smiling at his brother.

Their mother didn’t like the response, but didn’t comment. Since Logan was taking the role of the pack Alpha, she had to agree to some stuff with him. And for now she didn’t want to upset him.

“Fine. But just so you know, time is running out. You have time until next autumn which will be in 6 months. If by that time you didn’t found someone, I’m going to set you up for blind dates” she said firmly.

“Sounds fair enough. Right brother?” Logan asked looking at his brother hopping he will agree for now.

Noah looked closely as his friend. "You sick?" He asked as the movie was running in the background. "You usally hold you liquid better than me" he frowned not really getting what was with the other. 

Just then loud crash of a glass being smashed was hear. It had been too loud for it to be anything from the tv. Noah sat up straight in suprised as he tried to get his barings around what he'd just hear. Then the alarm downstairs went off.

"Shit!" Noah flew up from his seat and grabbed his phone as he ran towards the door. "Kaito call 911 I think someone is breaking into the gallery! He yelled back at his friend whom was much slower thst him to react. Adrenaline was pumping so fast through him that it almost made him sober in a instant as hr ran to the stairs. He hoped the fake alarm would have scared the perpetrator off before they manage to get anything.

As he reached the bottom of the stairs he set his phone on video recording. It the burglar was in there he would at least get a recording of the person to show to the police. 

Noah took a big breath and pushed the door open.

There didn't come any sound from the studio to the upstairs apartment as a sleepimg gass was release out into the staircase drugging everyone on the upstairs floors.

(Bam bam!)

Asher bite back a growle as he wasn't okay with any of that. He didn't want a mate anyway. Having a mate would mean being expected to have pups and his pups would then rival his brother and his mate's pups for the alpha position. He didn't think he wanted kids and especially not anything that could set the relationship to his brother in a twist. Asher thought Asher was already doing an amazing job at all that alpha stuff. He worked hard as the ceo of the company witch had more that doubled in size since their father retired. Asher was handling pack business and keeping everyone in line but to him, He still felt like Logan would be have been able to handle that as well.

"Who is to say my mate will even be a woman?" Asher asked. It wasn't unusual for werewolfs to be bisexual but they usally settled down to get pups. "And really it's not like you'll be missing out on anything even if I don't find a lover. I mean Missy here is gonna be the acting Luna for the pack once she and Logan gets marriged. It already weird enough to have to alphas and people don't even know how we can get along like this. I just don’t see why we should change weigh out the power like a challange. And would you really wante me to marry a person I don't even love mother?"

His mother shook her head. "If you don’t meet new people how will you ever find someone son." She said with a worried tone and Asher didn't like it. He hated making her upset.

His father took her hand and squeezed it on the table. He then looked at Asher. "Your mother and me just want you to have someone in your futur to support and take care of you too. Being an acting alpha wolf is alot of hard work and sacrifice. I know from experience that having you mother with me helped me keep my sanity throughout the years. Of coures you need to chose that person for yourself but it wouldn't hurt being introduced to a few people" 

Asher looked down and chewed on the inside of his cheek. He did get what they was telling him but he just didn't feel like he really needed that right now. He was fin with casual hookups if he needed it. And the godness knew he wasn't short on partners cause of his looks.

"Okay then in 6 months I will agree to 2 blind dates." He finally said.

"Come on Honey really. I wasn't thinking in number" his mother whined. "Just 20 girls then"

Asher snickered she was damn good at getting her way around her 'boys' with that sweet voice she used.

"5. No more that 5"

 “Yeah … not sure why this happened now” he said smiling feeling a little guilty for lying his friend but it was for the best. That way their friendship wasn’t going to be that awkward. The surprise sound made him jump and frown at the sudden intrusion and the fact that Noah ran right away downstairs didn’t make him feel safe at all.

He got up following the other but stopping when his friend asked him to call 911. He return to his bag, taking out his phone and started dyling up the number and started to tell them the details and address when he heard other loud noises and his stomach sunk, making his breath caught in his throat.

Not realizing he had hang up the phone and headed towards the stairs that headed downstairs but as soon as he reached them he saw the white smoke coming from the main room. Worried for his friends safety and thinking it was smoke. He covered his mouth with his hand and rushed inside, passing the double doors and into the lobby.

“NOAH!!” cough …. Cough. “NOAH ANSWER ME!” he shout out again but that’s when he inhaled the smoke and he felt his body get heavy and his eyesight getting all blurred, in the end blacking out and falling on the ground.

Logan looked at his brother rather curious. He did knew of his preferences, and the fact that he didn’t cared that much who he fucked, but omegas were rather rare and that’s why they were looking more into female partners. No one was rejecting a mate if it wasn’t an omega and a male gender, but for the sake of procreation, if ones mate was male and not an omega, then they had to take in a female consort to procreate.

He didn’t say anything, just listen them arguing in numbers and choices which made him sigh, a little amused of his brother. He new Asher wasn’t one to settle down yet, and seeing their mother trying so hard to put a chain around him and him bickering back it was a little funny.

“I think 5 is more than enough to accept for now. There is still time and if the limit is reached, 5 dates would be enough” he stepped in to save his brother the trouble of keeping arguing about the topic.

Logan’s phone rang and he looked surprise to see the name of the sheriff in town calling him at this hour. Stepping away he took the call and frowned at the news of someone breaking into a new lounge on their side of the territory and that there was a bloody scene that needed to be investigated and that they caught someone.

His eyes moved to his brother when the sheriff told him the address, knowing too well that there was one of Ashers friends. His features turned to pale as he hang up the phone and stepped closer to the table.

“Uhm … that was the sheriff … There has been a murder on our side of territory and they caught someone at the scene but …. ” he started saying looking at his parents and then turned to Asher.

“Its Noahs new exhibition place” he said slowly, hopping his brother will not rage too much.

Asher knew better than to start growling at his family, he wasn't a kid anymore and doing so would seem childish in his situation. He loved them all to bits but.. they could be damn meddsom.

He was glad Logan tried to sound on his side of things right up til he got a phone call and excused himself to go answer it.

Missy was giving him an encouraging smile to show she support him and wouldn't be among the members of the family who would pressure him.

Everyone looked up at Logan as he began giving them the news he'd resive. 

Asher's chair got pushed back as the he suddenly he stood. When he hear about a murder in their territory, his mind was asking 'where? And who was involved?. He had a bad feeling in his guts as Logan glanced over at him. He could tell the other was nervous for Asher's reaction, and that only set Asher on egde.

When Logan told him where and who Asher felt  worried and fearful to what had happen to his friend.

"I need to go there" Asher said and left the table. "Sorry about dinner, but I need to" he said and hurried out the room. Their father followed Asher and grabbed him by the shoulder to catch him.

"Asher don't get mixed into something dangerous and let the police handle it." His father adviced him with all seriousness and voice.

Asher gently pushed the hand off him and although he wasn't sure what would be awaiting him he tried to please his parent. "I know dad, but I haft to go find out what happen. Noah might be human but he is my friend." Asher said and closed the front door of his father. 

He should know Asher cared much for his friends. It was a good strenght in a good alpha. Asher was he people's person to turn to for help. Where Logan wasn't exactly as open or attracting people to him.

20 minutes took it Asher to driv to the building complex his friend lived in. The street was blocked with a fire truck. So he had to park at the side of the street. There was alot of people just standing there and watching the rescuer and police move about inside the blocked arear. Rays of blue shimmered past in the night with the lights on top of the vehicles.

Asher walked over to the nearby officer he showed the man his driver's licence and asked to be let inside. Now one couldn't just walk up and enter a crime sceen but Asher was someone who could. Because he was the alpha and anything related to him or his pack as an issue he as an alpha was allowed to investigate.

The police man obviously didn't know who he was and first the rejected him entry. Asher then asked him to speak with the Sheriff and give him his name in a much deep authority tone, that he knew for a fact could make even male wolfs nervous. The officer checked in over his communicator and Asher could hear as the the sheriff gave him the clear to let Asher in.

Asher didn't wait for the other to let him through. He just bent under the tape and walked past the human. He had only stopped to show his identity for protocol. Asher hurried inside the the gallery and saw a white cloth pulled over a body lying on the floor.

Asher folded his fists as he approached. The body smelt too much of his friend to not be Noah but he would still need to see it gor himself.

A police investigator told him not to touch anything nor the body but Asher only gave her one hard glance as he pulled out a glove and took it on before he lifted the cloth.

Noah's eyes were wide open and his skin was as pale as the white cloth. Other that that he looked unharmed at first till Asher looked futher down at his and sae the gaping hole in the other's chest. It was so big that there was no way that could have been made by a gun. Asher stared at his old school mate and felt anger and sadness. Why would anyone wanna kill Noah. He was a good regular person who was doing his atmost best to make it in life. Asher was shaking with anger and frustration. He would fucking kill which ever bastard had done this to his mate.

He couldn't tell what had made the wound but he was certain it was done by a supernatural. He slide his fingers over Noah's eyelids and closed them so he wasn't just staring out into nothingness. The he lowered the cloth to cover him but stayed kneeling by him as he tried to smell the room out.

All his nose caught was Noah's blood and paint and he was sure both belonged solely to the human. He didn't smell anything else other tjay a mix of herbs that made his nose tickle. He couldn't exactly place was word on what it was but he thought he knew about it. But there was something else a scent on Noah of someone. Asher stood and looked towards the stairway which had now been locked off. He walke passed the detective and technicians working about. Headed after the scent upstairs.
