"hah! I did it!" My friend, or ally or whoever he was yells with glee. He looks at me sideways and smiles. "HAH! WE DID IT!" He changed his yell, and I laugh nervously. I hadn't really done much, it had been him, and that mysterious figure in the trees... "gross stuff it is" I look towards the cretures and see that they are melting. I grab a small vial from my jacket and scoop some of the gloop up, planning on giving it to Finn later. Finn was good with analysing samples and stuff...

I smile at my ally and put out my hand.

Igarashi saw a beautiful rainbow from that battle grounds. "HAHA, that's some shit..." he chuckled looking amazed. He knew that the rest of the monsters were defeated by the two men. Voltaire arrived with some water that's inside a curled leaf. He drunk it and stood, he was feeling much better now after some rest. He stretched his arms and snapped his fingers. It made Voltaire disappeared out of sight.

 

"Crap, I forgot..." he then grabbed his phone and took some pictures of the strange animals around. He's planning to show it to his brothers afterwards. He's really not fond of hiding anything from them. Gin knows that they're starting to worry by now since he didn't gave them a single mail.

I pulled out my cell, took pictures of the melting creatures and I called Sky. Telling him about the said backup and the damn evil creatures who we dealt with. The hell he did he just replied to me..

 

'congratulations! I knew you could do it Neji-kun. Now go back here with the backup, we found something else while you're in a battle'

 

"sheesh fine." I hang the phone immediately.

 

I swayed a look back to my new friend here. He lent out his hand to me and said

 

"Hi! I'm Katashi"

 

Sweet. I grabbed it and made my introduction "Yo, I'm Neji!" a wink with a big smile still holding his hand I gripped on it, and pulled him going back to the portal. "we're going to our base, you can call your commander and tell him Sky made us go back to our base, he said they found out something while we're at battle"

 

Still smiling towards him while explaining myself I just realized his features, the boy they sent me actually looked like a girl. Even his weapon is girl-ish. Heh he's cute, and I'm holding his hand, another sudden realization, 'I'm holding his hand' I hurriedly took my hands of his and looked at the side.. Haha I felt as if I'm with a girl right now. Even his aura is girlish..

 

Still in the middle of observing my new friend's personality and appearance, I wait for his response to what I said. Man, this isn't my rest day after all.

"Yo, I'm Neji" he grabbed my hand and I smiled. Then he was dragging me further into the forest, telling me to ring my commander, and I had to go to his base. I got out my phone and dialled Finns number.

"Hey finn!"

"Katashi! Guess this means you didn't fail?"

"Yeah! Well, I met the guy I was backup for, and we've got to go to his base"

"Hmmmm... Sounds alright... Did you get data?"

"Yep, I got some creature gloop! I gotta go!"

"Kay, later!"

Neji had let go of my hand. I smiled at him

"Okay, where's your base then?" He was looking at me weirdly. It was probably my eyes. They always freaked people out. I looked away, embarrased. There he was, all masculine and powerful and handsome, then me, the complete opposite...

(Sorry for the really late and short reply since I lost my efffin' connection for several days.).

 

 

Igarashi finally went outside and inhaled the fresh air of Japan. He ventured the portal swiftly while he kept looking at the pictures he had recently taken in the other world. He wanted to know more about those humans who were fighting the monsters earlier but he's still in a confusion whether they're an enemy or not.

 

To no avail, he walked outside the park still tapping his cellphone calmly

Verdant opened his eyes and saw the azure sky, taking a moment to pick himself up he hears pedestrians hustling by. He tries to sit up and realize his hands landed into a pile of coins as he tried to push himself up, "huh? where am I? these people must think I.." before he finished the thought to himself, *Clink* someone threw a coin next to him.

 

"Excuse me! Sorry sir, If i may ask... Where am I? (he suddenly recalled emerging from the sewers yesterday? or was it days before?) I'm not from around here..." Verdant had a silly smile as he asked the curious kind pedestrian.

 

"Well.. You passed out here several days ago, by the looks of your clothes... You seem to come from far away. Though, welcome to the city of Sidus!" The pedestrian replied with a kind smile. "So where are you from? What brought you here?"

 

Verdant had sudden flash backs, of being abused, walking into a pond, emerging from sewers, he hesitated for abit "Well, im a... a... (he saw the instrument by his side) Im a traveling musician! and i came from... well, i don't really have a home i've been traveling all my life!" Verdant replied with an awkward silly smile.

 

"Well, if you need anything, I own a nice warm little pub... Feel free to drop by.. I'll be off!" The stranger left with a friendly smile and wave. Verdant still somewhat groggy from waking, waved droopingly and whispered "bye..."

 

Verdant sat down and soaked up the rest of the city, people hustling by, occasionally some kind soul gives a coin or two to him as he sat there. "That stranger was awfully nice, too nice..." *sudden flash backs of "nice" people inviting him in, but raped him in the night...* "Perhaps i'll just stay here for a little while..." Verdant thought to himself. He then Picks up the instrument and started strumming and plucking a merry tune, a merry tune that reflects his new life in a new city. Verdant looked up at the azure sky and sighed "Sidus huh?", he smiles to himself and continued playing~

For someone who was merely watching the events take place, it all happened so

 

fast. The fight, the spell, the enemies melting into.... something, it was like he just

 

watched from a monitor instead of actually being there, on the field, uselessly

 

being an onlooker.

 

It had been over, the one called 'Neji' had finished killing the enemies off, while the

 

other one, 'Kakashi' or was it 'Katashi'?, had taken a sample of what the enemies

 

have become. Soon enough, they both left the Outlands through the portal and he

 

was left alone in the darkness.

 

Stepping into the light, the man hidden in the shade raised both his arms and shot

 

two rays of dark energy from his palms to the sky. As if a plague of mosquitos had

 

risen from the trees, black crows covered the forest and flew to the source of the two

 

dark beams. There, the crows merged with the darkness, forming a large globe of

 

pure energy before becoming smaller and smaller. Finally, the orb completely

 

disappeared, and the man was alone once more.

 

He stepped away from the light and into the darkness once more, completely

 

removing his presence as if he had never been there in the first place. Grinning

 

mischievously, he walked around the forest some more. His 'pets' had seen another

 

figure lurking nearby, and he was determined to find out how that person got in the

 

Outlands by himself.

 

But then again, he also wondered why he had come in the first place. Even though

 

he was ordered to go, the man never really went unless he knew that the others

 

were seriously wounded, outnumbered, or simply overpowered. He shrugged the

 

thought off and continued walking.

Anybody who didn't know him would have thought he was some kind of a doomsday

 

cult priest. After all, the raven haired man was wearing his ceremonial robes, along

 

with his black and green sashes that hung on his shoulders, and he was still

 

carrying some kind of ornate staff with a celtic design. Whenever he would come

 

near, the surroundings would begin to darken, and the air becomes heavy. It was all

 

him though, and his habit of scaring the hell out of people he didn't know, but not

 

some other kind of supernatural spirit threatening to devour the life out of the

 

living.

 

He was still in the forest, cautiously watching the surroundings as he walked

 

towards the still open exit.

Now out of the Outlands, the man breathed in the cold, mountain air and gripped

 

his staff as he heard footsteps coming from behind him.

 

"Nikolai." it was a man's voice from behind. After hearing it, he relaxed and turned

 

around, looking at the other man nonchalantly. "You're late."

 

"As if that was a problem before." he simply shrugged it off, sitting down on a rock.

 

He looked at seriously, smiling eeriely afterwards. "You don't usually come see me

 

just to talk. What's the problem this time?"

 

Sighing, the man crossed his arms and leaned on the mountain cliff. "You're being

 

transferred."

Even before we could step a meter out the portal, I felt strange within the Outland.. Looking back with a serious face, thinking what would that be.. Being all tired and lazy, I then just shrugged my shoulders and continued walking away the portal. Now roaming around the city of Reality, I and Katashi are off to the main base in Astram.

 

*Entering the base - Astram Secret Army*

 

"Badge" the big guy bouncer out the rusty old tank, which is the entrance to the secret base down the basement.

 

I unbuttoned my coat and there, you see my SAB(Secret Army Badge). The big guy nodded and I walked in the old tank. Stupidity has risen, I forgot I was with someone, seeing the big guy stop Katashi from coming in, I ask him then "Katashi, do you have your base badge?" I stared at him for quite some seconds, but then I just took a pat on the big guy's shoulders, "yea, I'm with him, he's an army too".. and since I'm one trusted army lead, he let go of Katashi and let him in.

 

"meh, sorry bout that." smiling with embarrassment, I scratched my head like a silly dude.

 

As we continued walking down the tank path, many secret layers whatsoever is in there, nobody can just pass through without knowing the passcodes but me and the other army members.. Besides, all encoding theories of the base is from me, yea... I know everyone's passcodes.. ven our rooms are with passcodes.. SO yea, as of now we are about to meet the commander of Astram Base, Sky..

 

"hey, SKy is bisexual, be ready.." with my serious face and so, I warned this cute guy beside me for he's somewhat a target of SKy's eyes.

I saw Neji look back as we entered the portal. I felt like there was someone watching us. He shrugged and we walked through the portal into Reality. It was so different from the Outlands. Reality was just so... Hectic. Before I knew it, I was standing outside the entrance to the base where Neji worked. It was well disguised as a rusty old tank. The bouncer/guard asked me for my badge. I searched my pockets, but I couldn't find it. Neji pulled me inside.

"Meh, sorry bout that" he scratched his head and I smiled.

"Hehe don't worry about it, I forgot it, its my fault" We continued through the base. It was a lot bigger than my base, and had a ton of security too. Finn wasn't too bothered with security, it was too much hastle for him. Neji stopped outside a door and warned me about his commander. I looked at him quizzically. "Why should I be ready?" I blinked and looked at the floor. Did he think I was gay? Just because I looked feminine didn't make me gay...

How strange, as he was looking at his shaky palms, he felt tired and such. Gin wasn't really weak but he's not that strong. He did just a helping hand earlier yet he wasn't feeling well. It's as if he had too much power yet it destroys his body--the core of his very soul. Before, he had realized that this power is no gift it's just a curse. It's nothing to be proud of yet he still felt superior to the humans somehow.

 

The blonde diverted his gaze to his cellphone again and started sending the pictures he had taken glimpse from the other world. After a short while he received lot's of messages. As he looked at each text, he couldn't help but laugh at how foolish their reaction was. Some of them wanted to go with him next time and the others couldn't even believe nor force themselves to believe.

 

"Ah." He answered the call coming from Tora.

 

"Sandaime, you should go back. It's dangerous outside." he said, worried.

 

"You're not my mother." he stated in monotone and ended the call in a flash.

 

Tora was really acting over the top, he's sometimes a hassle. Gin really don't like to give him a cold shoulder but sometimes he felt the urge of giving one. He scratched his head and walked towards the nearest convenient store to grab some snacks. As Gin entered the store casually, he then noticed that everyone stared at him like he's some "objet d'art." He immediately turned his head away trying to ignore everyone's warm stares towards him. The cause was probably him wearing the traditional Japanese clothes in a modern day though no Matsuri's had still occurred.

 

"Shit! I regretted not changing--" He murmured to himself, grabbing the snacks swiftly so that he could leave the place immediately.

A few days have passed since Verdant started his new life in the city of Sidus, and he made a good deal of money too. It's decent for his every expenses, enough to survive and if perhaps he stayed long enough, he could have some savings too.

 

Verdant wanders the city of Sidus, he's becoming more familiar with it, his favourite spot being a Huge water fountain in the city square. He performed routinely at different corners of the fountain, and during his rest. He would gaze upon the mighty architecture and artistry, a giant lady stone statue that resembles Aquarius holding a giant wide bowl in which water poured out of it gracefully and flowed down her hair, and onto intricately carved fishes which seemed to be part of the lady's dress, and the water falls down the long fins of the fishes forming even more layers of waterfalls. "hmmmm.. i wonder how's it like inside the fountain..." Verdant always thought to himself, as the pond itself is relatively huge and the grand sculpture is in the middle, the core of the statue is obscured by slowing water.

 

That very night, Verdant lay next to the fountain, he didn't feel like sleeping, he just listened to the sound of flowing water, the sound was very gentle almost soothing, the whole sculpture now gleamed of silver under the moonlight making it immensely beautiful. Verdant gazed around and noticed everyone is fast asleep, there is no other light other than that from the moon. It occured to him that he haven't showered for days...

 

He looked around once more, ensuring that no one was around. He loosened his robes, carefully sliding them off as it is the only clothings he have. "I guess I've nothing to loose, plenty have seen my unclothed self against my will..." he whispered as he climbed into the fountain, holding his garments neatly folded up on his head while heading towards the core of the fountain, He hid his clothing among a dry crevice formed by the fins of the statue, and let the fountain water rinsed him through... It was so refreshing, he felt so happy, without a care in the world~

 

"Although, it would be really awkward... It someone caught me like this.." He chuckled as he took a nice cooling shower under the moonlight...

"To where? The other Sol division with the Finn guy? I think I saw one his guys back in the Outlands..."

 

The two men were still outside the cave where the portal was. The one leaning on the mountain cliff sighed, rubbing his eyebrows and adjusting his sunglasses.

 

"Astrum City."

 

"You seem rather sad, Anthony. And you've been sighing a lot." Nikolai smiled seductively at the man. "Does that mean you'll miss me?"

 

"Idiot. Of course I won't!" he sighed again, much to his chagrin as Nikolai let out soft laugh. "But I must admit, the base will be less interesting without you and your evil mind around..."

 

"So when do I go?"

 

"Now. They already finished chargin up the portal.

As soon as the two of them entered the base, everyone stopped working and stared at him. Still with his smile on, he secretly prepared to unleash black snakes on the workers to scare them for the last time.

 

Unfortunately, Anthony noticed and stopped him before he could send the first snake up the nearest woman's thigh.

 

"Aren't you old enough to stop playing pranks on your coworkers?" he whispered. "And boss told me not to let you give a goodbye prank to anyone."

 

"I believe you mean 'ex' coworkers." Nikolai shot back. "And no, I'm not that old, you know?"

 

"Whatever. Just don't scare the hell out of Sergei this time."

 

"Ladno, durak."

"Why, good evening Nikolai. Or is it morning now?" from the deepest part of the base, a man came out holding a fist sized gem on his right hand. He inspected Nikolai for a bit, then handed him the green gem. "How strange to see you nothing up your sleeve..."

 

"Now now, Sergei, ya ne vsegda plohoi. No yesli vi hotite...."

 

"Ey... Zatknis uzhe. And I believe our friend here doesn't understand." they both turned to look Anthony, who looked like he wasn't paying attention at all. "Anthony, did you make sure our dearest Nikolai here didn't give the others a parting gift?"

 

"Yes. Although, he was about to...."

 

"What was it this time? The rats? Or the imposters? I hope it wasn't the snakes....."

 

"You seem quite cautious today, Sergei... And yes, it was the snakes." Nikolai answered cheerfully. "By the way, what is this?" he inspected the green gem carefully.

 

"That's the teleportation device." taking the gem from his hands, Sergei set it down on the floor. "It transports you anywhere in Reality but it requires a great deal of power to do so. That's why we avoid having transfers...."

 

"Hmmm... I expected it to be.... bigger..."

 

Suddenly, the gem lit up, with a string of hands coming out, forming a spiral. Sergei smiled at it and beckoned for him to come.

 

"Hands? How creepily perverted... Tell me I'm not going to be molested by those."

 

"You are not going to be molested by the portal." Nikolai gave a fake sigh of relief, taking Sergei's hands afterwards and gripping them tightly. "What the--"

 

"Well, since I didn't get the chance to give our dear, dear friends one, last goodbye, I might as well give one to the beloved head of the base~~" a string of darkness came out of his hand, tying Sergei's arms behinds his back and chained him to the wall. Nikolai gave him a quick peck to the lips, and upon seeing the blush on the older man's cheeks, he smiled and kissed his forehead before jumping into the portal. "Do svidania~~"

 

"Ublyudok....." Sergei muttered under his breath. "Come back here! I'm still tied up!!"

From the sky, dark, green clouds suddenly appeared and formed a spiral. A bright light came from the center, and with it, a man in black came falling down.

 

When Nikolai first entered the portal, he saw a view of Astrum City from above. And then, he felt a push from behind, and he was sent falling down from 3 000 feet.

 

"Blin, blin, blin!" he shouted.

 

Nikolai first summoned his black crows to carry him, spouting one after another from his sleeve. Unfortunately, they were all sent into random directions and failed to even get their claws on his clothes. He then made a parachute from his (dissolved) crows, which got torn after encountering a flock of geese.

 

Now running out of hope, and space between him and the ground, Nikolai shot a ray of darkness to the ground, turning it into a lotus that sent a pillar of black fire towards him. He made a dark disk from the tip of his staff, maintained his balance to direct the disk to the black flame, and hoped he wouldn't die.

 

Soon enough, ice formed under the disk, making a tube of ice long enough to cushion his fall.

 

Just as he planned, the tube crashed down on the ground and made his fall slower. He fell down on his back, luckily not breaking any bones in the process.

 

"That Sergei... Ya yevo ubyu....."

Walking around a new city was never a good thing for him. Nikolai never got used to the stares people gave him, and in return, the people never got used to the endless number of times he unleashed something wild on the public. Luckily, there wasn't a lot of people outside, and the ones in the streets just ignored him. Looking at the map given to him (the map fell on his head inside a small, wooden box with a letter from Anthony), he easily found his way to the new base and quickly went over to the entrance, only to be stopped by big man.

 

"Badge."

Nikolai is a Russian name, so might as well turn him one (and Sergei too).

I pressed some numbers in a codebox at the entrance of Sky's room-- I mean, "office".. Then I placed my badge on the scanner and suddenly it blinked red [bADGE RECOGNIZED] it printed.. The door opened with a creek like a haunted house or something.. And it was dark inside.. Getting annoyed by the creeps I kicked the door forcing it to open immediately.

 

*kick* "the fuck is wrong with your door Sky?" With a blank pasted on my face I frowned at him..

 

"Oh my oh my, sorry for that.. Hihihi" laughing like a witchy idiot, Sky is only scaring the new kid..

 

"Its so dark in here open the lights please, you're scaring my new friend.."

 

"Hmp. You blew my plans Neji.." Then he immediately tap his desk and the lights are finally on. "Anyways, so rare of you to have a new friend during a battle.. Mostly they-" i covered his mouth..

 

"Shut up"

 

"Most-ly the-y d--"

 

"I said shut up! You -- idiot!"

 

"Hahahaha funny.. hey you" a sudden stare "new kid, what's your name? You're cute.."

 

Here he goes again.. Before any idiotic thing happens I slapped my cell in his desk and opened his connection port.. Making my phone open a hologram of the pictures i took at the battle..

 

"Here's what we found.." Explaining to him such I remembered he said he found something as well..

 

"Aah they are a bit weaker than the ones you fought before.." He said suddenly diverting his attention..

 

"Yea it seems so, but they're a bit hard for being big.."

 

We kept talking and I suddenly felt a little weird.. Someone's here.. I think. Outside? Wait.. I'm losing focus..

 

".......and we are definitely sure it isn't human.." Sky finished his talk

 

"Huh? What's not human?" I asked for not paying attention at all.. I stared at them both still keeping track of my said feelings.

I watched as Neji kicked the door down. Wasn't this his commanders room? Why was he being so... Casual? The room looked dark, and I could hear Neji talking with another guy, who was laughing creepily. He was definitely different than Finn. The lights turned on and I looked around the room. His commander asked for my name...

"Uh... I'm Katashi...." My face went red. Neji brought up pictures of the monsters we had fought and his commander, Sky, focussed his attention back onto Neji. What had he meant earlier when he was talking about people in battle with Neji? Sky finished his talk, and Neji, who had been staring into space snapped back into focus.

"Are you alright?" I put my hand on his arm. Then I felt something. A strange prescence. I took my hand away from Nejis arm and it disappeared. When I touched it again, I felt the prescence again. Was this what spaced him out? The... Person that was outside?

As he went outside the convenient store, he could already see a black Mercedes Benz parked outside the store. It really was rare to see one parking freely outside a convenient store. The by-standers immediately flocked towards the Benz to see who the owner was. Gin on the other hand, popped a nerve on his head. The driver immediately caught him and went outside to usher him.

 

"Sandaime, we've been searching for you." he bowed gracefully while waiting for Gin.

"Who's the one who ordered you to drive this lump of metal outside without my permission!? " his voice was clearly dark, trying to suppress his anger.

"I--it--- was Tora-aniki, Sa---sandaime."

"Tch* that idiot!!!!!!" he placed his palm to his face as he tried to pretend not seeing the man's stupid face.

"Let's go, we're attracting some weird attention." He ordered to his driver as it entered the car swiftly, warming up the engines.

 

For the usual routine, he arrived at the manor with all the members of the family greeting him. Though he looked deadly as of the moment, he really appreciated the warm welcome. In the end, he's your typical Tsundere. Gin immediately summoned his trusted confidant, Tora. Immediately grabbing the man out of nowhere, they went inside a private room.

 

"Sa---sandaime, wh--at ar-are yooouuu tr--tra--trying too d-do!!?" Tora gulped as he tried to distance himself at the other man.

"Enough with your nonsense, idiot. I want you to know find out who these boys are," he showed the picture on his phone to Tora.

"Yes, certainly." Tora nodded.

"Do it quick and secretly!" He added while leaving the room.

"Ah--yes."

"And for your punishment come to my room!!!!" he gave a huge grin and exited gracefully.

"Eh punis--why!? Sandaime WHY!???" he cried with sheer terror, wondering what might his fault be.

 

Gin wanted to know more about those suspicious army in the forest. How could they use magic and such? Gin thought that he was just the only one who could use it. It never came to his head the fact that the others might have such power. His interest was really piqued. Are they humans? or are they residents of that other world he'd recently visited?

 

"Darn, who might they be..." He squinted his eyes and sat at the cold rock beside the koi pond.

It was almost dawn and Verdant was still lying in the waters of the grand pond, slowly he went into a trance-like state and wondered... wondered if he could indeed draw himself closer to his summon, "kra...ken.. Kraken... " He whispered, "are you still with me?" and he closed his eyes and let the water rinse through. There was just silent, but Verdant felt a presence, there wasn't words spoken nor voices heard but he knew that the kraken was there...

 

"Should we stay here? or try somewhere else? but where else can i go? besides... isn't traveling through water very tiring?" Verdant wasn't even sure if he said that out loud or just thought it... but the Kraken heard.. and it agreed, it agreed to bring Verdant somewhere else for it understands that he was bored with this place. They just have this strange mutual understanding and they could communicate just through feelings...

 

Verdant was sleepy and tired and didn't feel like moving, so strange dark slender tentacles started emerging from the waters, it wrapped around him and grasps his clothes from the statue, also his instrument near the shore and pulled everything underwater... Submerged but not wet... Submerged but not suffocating... It was like in another dimension, though Verdant felt like he was suspended in water, he could still breath and his clothes weren't wet but they were floating around as if underwater...

 

Verdant realized he's in another dimension, possibly not under the fountain anymore, but a great chasm with light beaming down from random spots on the ceiling and Verdant just knew that each opening would lead to different places... So he just swam up a random opening. As he swam, he felt the Atmosphere around getting denser, and wetter as if its turning into real water, and soon he had to hold his breath because it is real water now... He kept swimming and swimming... "huh?" He got puzzled as he saw a gorgeous fish with marbled pattern swam past, "K...koi..." Verdant just knew what it was as the kraken "told" him...

 

Verdant emerged from the pond, clinging onto his wet garments... still rather naked and noticed he's surrounded by more of this gorgeous koi fish that he just learnt about... Verdant was so excited he tried to stroke and play with some of the fishes. Suddenly, he noticed he wasn't alone!!! And he noticed a man sitting on a rock beside the pond! Verdant immediately fell back into the pond "SPLASH!" and he struggled to breathe "GASP!" he got out and stared at the man in exotic clothes, hoping the man haven't noticed him for Verdant is still half-naked... but made so much splashing... Verdant just kept staring... and staring...

When Nikolai entered the base, he could have sworn he saw that pair from the Outlands and ended up following them. Luckily, they were about to go to Neji's commander anyway. Successfully finding a way to his new boss without having to ask, he grinned excitedly while gripping his staff.

 

Although, there was one small problem that he didn't want to overlook.

 

His clothes were ripped from that fall from the sky.

Saying his clothes were 'ripped' would be an understatement. It was completely tattered, and it looked like he just ran away from a rapist with a knife and ended up hiding in a chicken coop. His dark green sash was missing, both of his sleeves had a long tear, bird feathers were sticking from his head to toe, even his hair was messy.

 

Although changing would be an easy task, he didn't have time anymore. The Neji guy just started opening another door.

 

Well, he wasn't required to report immediately anyway, and it seemed that those guys looked rather comfy together.

 

He just shrugged and took off his tattered robes, hoping there weren't any hidden security cameras around to see him change while ridiculously following the two.

Nikolai smiled contentedly at his new clothes (conjured up from his shadow). Although they weren't anything like his usual ceremonial robes, he thought it was fine and looked rather normal for the first time in months. He still has a sash on though, but instead, it hung from a black gem over his black button up shirt and over his arms (instead of his shoulders) towards his back, where another black gem held it in place. With one flick of his hand, the sash extended, now magically floating around him while still being connected to the two gems.

 

By the time he was smoothing his shirt, he heard one of them kick down a door. He looked up and saw both of them enter the room.

He didn't exactly like introducing himself to his commander in front of other people. Outside the door, he leaned back and waited for them to finish. He suppressed his presence to avoid being noticed, going as far as eliminating his shadow just to stay hidden.

 

Unfortunately, it seemed that one of them noticed him. Nikolai clicked his tongue, seeing Neji looked a bit alarmed gave away the fact that it was him who noticed him. He whispered quietly, cursing Neji to lose focus by making the room slightly darker and giving away his presence to him. Luckily, only Neji was affected by the sudden gloom that invaded the room, until Katashi touched his arm and spread the curse towards him as well.

 

'Nothing I can do about it then' he thought.

 

Nikolai sighed, deciding to enter the room anyway and just get it over with.

"Someone's outside.." I felt a presence trying to hide from my atmosphere.. Sky plugged off the port connecting the screen table to my cellphone forcing it to shut off.

 

"Who is it?" Sky stared at me asking.. "Neji.."

and since I don't feel like it would be much of a trouble, I didn't bother looking through who it was..

"Too lazy" I aswered Sky

"What?" He asked

Gripping on the Katashi's hand holding my arm, I made a joke face saying "too lazy to find out" with a sudden look away..

 

"WHAT??!!" Throwing one of his identification cards on my head making me face the broken door I kicked awhile ago..

 

Laughing towards my commander, still holding Katashi's hand on my arm, I scratched my head when I suddenly saw someone enter the room..

 

"It was him.." gladly pointing at where the door is..

I stared at the doorway, not losing my grip on Nejis arm. The prescence didn't feel evil... Just strange. Pain began to spread through my head as I looked at the door. It felt like there was a needle piercing my brain. I winced and held my other hand to my forehead. A man walked through the door, wearing a black sash of some kind. This must be the source of the strange pressure Neji had been feeling.

Gin was sitting at the rock solemnly. He loved how to hear the crickets sound during the night. He was not really facing the Koi pond since he's done feeding them a couple of minutes ago. Leisurely seated atop the cold rock he started to grab a cigarette and lighted it. Count this day for Gin's idling time, he rarely do the work since it's all Tora's job. He had his fair share of star gazing at the vast sky, this time, he's blankly staring at the wall.

 

Lazily stretching his arms he felt a cold drop of water from his forehead. Gin looked up just to see that it wasn't raining. But he still ignored the tiny droplet until it splattered to his clothing, this time it's quite huge. "Shit----" he stood and turned his head to the koi pond. The koi might be the culprit of the splish-splash moments he had annoyingly experienced.

 

To his surprise, he saw a man struggling inside the pond. It was nothing familiar to him, the man looks foreign. Gin's eyes widened and returned back to normal. He bend his body a little, closer to the man in the pond.

 

"Now then, what the fuck are you doing inside my residence!?" his voice had a certain chill to it while his gaze was ardently focused to the man. He couldn't care less as to how the man was half naked and such. The question is how in the world he had appeared in the water without him noticing it. He could've sworn to feel the presence of someone near him yet the man in front of him never gave such presence.

 

He picked the man's collar and effortlessly threw the man out of the pond. He might be a sworn enemy or a spy. "Who sent you? Spit it out while I'm still in a good mood..." He walked to the man he bashed to the wall earlier. Gin wasn't forgiving enough to persons who trespass to his property much more ruin his precious koi pond. Nevertheless, he couldn't be labeled as a Yakuza without cruelness.

Without even realizing what had happened, he was just staring at the man and now he's being thrown on the ground. Verdant then lifted his hands and waved them in front of him in a futile attempt to defend himself, he then gazed at the man... His soaked shirt revealed his rather masculine physique and he had this stern strong, stone cold aura around him, it was truly intimidating, which somehow made the man seemed attractive.

 

With a shiver in Verdant's voice, unsure whether it's because he's soaked, or because being in the presence of such an intimidating yet attractive male "pl...please don't hh..hhurt me... Im... Verdant, and Im not even sure where i am from but... I..." Verdant looked up, stupidly pointed at the sky and said "I fell from... there" He then stumbled upon his robes and fell into the pond, as his hand went into the pond, the Koi fishes started a strange "dance" and swam gracefully around Verdant's hand and they seem to swim rhythmically to the centre of the pond and then back to where Verdant was...

 

"it seems the Kraken has a connection to aquatic creatures... i wonder what's going on?" Verdant thought to himself as he playfully places both hands into the water and he managed to pick up a huge sphere or water which carried three Koi fishes as they danced within the sphere bubble of water... Then noticing the man still staring at him, He accidentally dropped the sphere back into the pond where the fishes then landed into the water and continued the unique swimming pattern... "Well... I...I..." as Verdant tried to explain himself more... He felt really groggy and tired, and he knew that traveling through this "underwater" dimension has taken a toll on him and Kraken...

 

He fell down... pushed himself up... but his vision faded... and he managed to see a blurred image of his instrument and the man still glaring at him, he clutched on to his instrument within his embrace and passed out while lying in a fetal position... And everything went black...

"Could you please stop staring? It's rude."

 

Arms crossed and smirk ever present, Nikolai leaned on the doorway while slightly teasing the three men in the room. He turned to Katashi, who was currently holding his head with his hand.

 

"You should leave your head alone. It'll go away on its own in a few minutes. Otherwise..." with that warning, he made a slashing motion across his neck. "It's a side effect for first timers. I

 

apologize for the inconvenience."

 

Afterwards, he can't help but notice the slight confusion with the two other men. The raven haired man sighed and shrugged.

 

"Nikolai. No last name. I just got transferred here from my base in Sol a few minutes ago, actually. Although, I believe my data was sent beforehand, no?" he said, eyeing Sky from head to toe.

 

"Nobody told me Astram had such a fine commander, if you know what I mean." let out a soft chuckle before giving Sky a seductive wink.

After the guy's introduction, saying such words, the commander, Sky made a big smirk. He stood up like a real fine man with naughtiness around his head over a guy who just came.

 

"Oh my my, thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it. And will show you how much." walkin towards Nikolaihe continued his words "And I know youknow what I mean... Me he he he"

 

With all his smirking and evil perverted laughs, it's a bit getting to my nerves, we can't get to work accordingly to plan because of Sky's attitude. Making me not respect him that much. If I'm the commander, this place wouldn't be as dumb as I see it. Though to others our base is one of the most respected and relied to, but for me, this is a joke. So before they make out infront of me, I intruded their worlds magnetizing each other.

 

"YOOO! So you're a transfer.. Hi there! I'm Neji!" slightly pushing Sky to the side and handing over my hand to the new comer while my other hand still is on hold of Katashi's hand pulling him as I walk.

 

"What the..Neji!" Sky bricking my head "what? The new comer's mine, you idiot!"

 

"The hell you saying?! I'm just introducing myself you dumbass!"

 

"I'm your commander, butthole! Stop disrespecting me infront of others!"

 

And we fought. But it ended soon, the moment I realized Katashi being uneasy around the room.. So I shook my head and starts ignoring Sky, I took my phone and faced Katashi..

 

"Katashi, you okay? Maybe you should rest, no? I'll just update you on the pics and stuffs later, let's go to my room for now and leave this stupid here with the new comer.." I then made a poker face to Sky.

 

But before I left the room, I pat Nikolai's shoulder, and felt really strange of his aura, and said my little "hi" and smiled.
