Here is a twisted fairy tale that a lot of you may have heard the name: The Little Mermaid. Well this is our take or version on it. So it may seem off and weird. I hope you all enjoy you're read.

Background/History:

William was born into royalty, he was also named after his grandfather who had past on before he was even born. His father is the one who is King, he rules over a land that is close by the sea, hence the reason why William enjoys the salty air so much. As he grew older he wasn't attracted to any females which had concerned his mother and father greatly but alas he knew it couldn't be helped. When he became a teenager he had showed signs of liking the same sex. With lingering gazes at the other men. At first his parents thought it was a faze he was going through but the faze soon turned into a- life style for the young prince.

Hobbies:

Sailing on the open seas, traveling through the town with out guards escorting him.

Personality:

William is more of a kinder spirit. He is loving and compassionate. He does however have a fiery side of him that is both appealing and appalling. In simple terms he is a gentle and outspoken young man who believes in what is right.

(Before I begin I will say this, we as in me, Kira, and littlemiss will be doing it kind of like the original Fairy Tale but with a little twist from us. It was another lovely evening, the sun was setting in the horizon, lighting up the sky in lushes color's of purples- pinks- and a hint of red. It was a beautiful sight to behold. Out on the open sea's was a prince, a human prince that was very handsome.

 

He was on a boat with a crew that was both boisterous and jolly- men were singing drunk. Swinging their wooden cups back and forth, a celebration was afoot. The celebration of the human prince- William Baron Von Blake III. His electric blue eyes were dancing with mirth and glee.

 

A colorful laughter escaped from the prince as he watched two men fall over each other laughing in a drunken fashion. He shook his bleach blond hair and walked up to the side railing of the boat.

 

He placed both of his hands on it and leaned forwards slightly, enjoying the smells of fresh sea air. A slight breeze picked up calming the young prince along with blowing his hair all around his face.

 

The Prince felt somebody join next to him and leaned their arms over the railing as well, their head was turned in his direction watching his face calmly. "Something troubling you my Prince?" A deep gruff voice had said snapping the young man out of his thought's.

 

"Hmm. Oh no, nothing is troubling me!" William had said while waving his hand in front of his face in a dismissive manner. "Shouldn't you be enjoying yourself Jacob?"

 

The man chuckled lightly while turning around and leaning back against the railing, his elbow's were propped up on the brown oak. "I am... It's just- I was curious as too why you're over here alone?" The prince's personal servant had said in a voice that matched up with what he was saying.

 

The prince shrugged his shoulders in a carefree kind of way, he wasn't so sure himself why he was standing off alone. But he just wanted to move away from the merriment only for a few minutes. "I'm not sure myself but- whenever I look out at the sea it calms me..." He said softly before pushing himself away from the railing.

 

"Come on lets get back to the merriment..." The personal servant just smiled watching the prince join back into the party.

 

Little did the prince know that soon, very soon his life will change.

Kira had happily been given permission now to swim up and see what the shore was like,to see as well what the humans were like.Without a single thought he swam quickly,his long haor flowing behing him as he swam.His blue eyes were fixed on the waters surface,and he came quickly to the surface and as he did he couldn't help but doing a flip. The drops of water made it seem as if there were sparklss around him.His sea blue eyes were closed as he flipped and his long smooth scaled tail shined in the sun light. He landed in the water again with a splash,and smiled.

 

He could hear music and decided he would go see where it was coming from.As he did he swam behind a rock,watching the boat and the people on it from there. As he watched,none caught his eye and he was thinking of swimming else where.But he soon spoted the Prince,and a very dark blush went across his face. The way the Prince looked...his golden hair and blue eyes...it was more then enough to make Kira fall into a daze.

 

As he continued stareing at the prince,just watching him...it made Kira lose all track of time.He paid no mind to the setting sun,only to how the sun looked in the Princes hair,and how it shinned off his eyes.This Prince had Kira already falling for him.But he knew for a fact there was no chance for their love,since he lives in water...and the beautiful Prince on land.

 

Kira swam far enough away that none could see him and he sang.He sang a sarrowfully sweet song.As he did so his voice washed over the waters,his hair surrounded him as he sang.He felt so happy,to seen such an amazing looking person...but so.sad to know they could never be.

Usagi sighed. He was sat by a large window, overlooking the ocean. Fairly close to him, he could see a boat that looked almost like a bonfire on the water. Dropping his paintbrush in frustration, he stood up and placed his hand against the window. William, Usagis beloved, was on the boat, celebrating. Usagi wished he could be with him, but obligations had made him unable to even go out on the water with him. Picking up his paintbrush and dipping it in paint again, Usagi continued painting. It was the scene out of the window, capturing it almost like a snapshot in time. Usagi looked out at the boat again and blinked. He couldve sworn he saw something swim near the boat. Hoping it wasn't an octopus coming to take William away, Usagi resumed his painting in silence and darkness.
