Key
Hello everyone! Recently we have had plenty of spammers invading the forums (once again). As a way to prevent them from registering, we have changed the security questions and switched to an advanced type of reCAPTCHA. These measures helped in the sense that we haven't noticed any new spam registrations after the implementation date. However, the spam posts keep appearing, but they are made by old, inactive users. We have now implemented some rules when posting (ex: certain words usually used by spammers in a post make that post go into the Moderation Approval queue and the post is invisible to regular members until a Mod checks and approves it). However, we do ask all members who are active and have passwords that are on the weaker side, to change them to stronger passwords, as we risk for the bots to figure out the passes and start logging in and posting spam with regular accounts, in turn, making the regular accounts be banned for spam. Thanks everyone for understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!
