Name: Cedric Luc Vladmir

Age: Unknown

Species: Pureblood Vampire

Like(s): classical music, playing panio, reading, hot baths, snow, children, blood, his family

Dislikes: Vampire Hunters, disrespect

Personality: Reserve and is fairly polite and civilized to most people but can be very harsh, and rude when he's angry. He takes pride in his family name... so it would be wise never to insult it. He is extremely close with his parents, he deeply loves them and his siblings, ( most of them )

Passed: Unknown

Abilities: Cedric is a Pureblood, meaning he is basically royalty in the Vampire world. Purebloods are the only vampires with the power to transform humans into vampires. He can read minds and use telepathy to communicate. Purebloods also have a forbidden and frightening power known as Obedience and can use it on humans and vampires forcing them to do there bidding. He also has immense super strength, speed, and heightened senses. All Purebloods are also born with a special ability ( as if they weren't already strong enough) He specifically can control wind and manipulate the air around him. It sounds like a travail power. But in reality it is deadly. If Cedric wanted to...he could suck all the air out of your lungs in a instant and watch you suffocate. A rather agonizing death.

Postion: Seme

Family Name / Backround: There are only a handful of Purebloods left in society. The Vladimir name is well known across the globe and feared by many, even in the Vampire Hunter society. The family has built a long lasting legacy, and is one of the most wealthiest families in the entire world, human and vampire. The Vladmir family is the largest Pureblood family in history. Most Purebloods have a difficult time conceiving children, a couple could try for decades and never give birth to a child. Especially now.... purebloods having children are extremely rare. But the Vladimir family is the only Pureblood family in history to have 5 children. Cedric being a middle child. The fourth.

Over 100 years ago Vampires and Humans were at war with each other and in order to stop the blood shed on BOTH sides..Elizabeth Vladimir and Markous Vladimir ( Cedric's parents) approached the Vampire council and the humans Hunter association, providing the first ever peace treaty agreement between the two species. Now Vampire Hunters only killed level E vampires. Or any rough vampires that may hunt humans. Since that peace treaty... the Vladmir family name grew even more infamous. I mean... they stopped a war and forced two opposing sides to come together. In fact this new school that recently opened. Cross Academy was funded by the Vladmir family. In order to continue to build trust between vampires and humans. And they entrusted Cedric to look after the academy and encourage other vampires to attend.

BEGINNING POST:

Cedric  sighed underneath his breath looking quite bored. He leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, glancing at his watch...he hadn't even been in the building for 40 mintues and he was already itching to leave. He wasn't necessarily against the idea of humans and vampires attending school together. It fact it was a huge step towards gaining the trust of humans. He valued his parents dreams and would do anything to help them accomplish there goal. Which is why he was enrolled in the academy in the first place. Despite the fact that he was already well educated with several years of study and degrees under his belt. Him being here was too ensure peace and control.

He waited a few more minutes in the hallway until finally the Head Master of the Academy opened his door.

" Cedric, it'd good to see you. I apologize for the wait. Please come in."

"It's not a problem. "

He simply nodded and walked into the man's office.

It was agreed upon by the Vampire Council and Hunter Association that the Academy be lead by a retired Vampire Hunter and that a the Hunter Association would hand pick a select few to be students at the Academy. These hand picked hunters would be apart of the "student council " and would help keep the peace between the day class and night class students. It was important for them to be well trained.

The Head Master was Logon Knight. A famous Vampire Hunter that had killed many durning his prime and even tho he was retired and pushing near 50... he was still extremely knowledgeable and good with a gun. He was still very much capable of defending himself and other humans. A perfect choice.

The student council and the Head master were to keep the human students safe, as well as keep a close eye on the vampires. And Cedric job was to keep the night class students in check. He was practically a god to them... so whatever he said.... they would do. Not to mention he could easily stop his own kind from hurting or killing anyone using his abilities. He was there ace in the hole.

Despite there being a peace treaty, many hunters still hated vampires. After many decades this Academy would be the first step to acting out peace between the two species.

This Academy was his mother's pride and joy. He would make sure it was a success.

As he closed the door behind him, he took a moment to take in the three hunters in the Head Masters office...they looked quite young.

" I called you over to this meeting so you could meet the members of the student council. I assure you that they are all well trained and capable. "

Cedric smiled soft. " I have no doubt. "

He approached the three humans, extending his hand in order to greet them.

" It's a pleasure to meet you all... I extend my family's thanks and gratitude to you all for being apart of this Academy. My parents deeply believe that Cross Academy is a pivotal step to lasting peace. I look forward to working with you all... please take care of the students."

Cedric gave the others a slight bow out of respect.

To the humans before him...such a gesture would seem extremely odd. Most vampires had ZERO... respect for them. I mean...they were murdering there own kind.

It taken a week. But the Day class students and Night class students were all moved into the campus dorms. Tomorrow would be the first day of classes. The first step to change.

Name: Yukie, last name protected to keep him from being targeted.

Age: 20+

Species: human, vampire hunter

Like(s): music, sleep, animals, and drawing.

Dislikes: Vampires, cold, and blood (just a trait from how he was raised) and being told what to do by those he deems beneath him.

Personality: he’s known for being calm and quiet. He keeps to himself and is obedient to a fault. Hes disciplined, but had moments where he breaks down. Like most humans he’s flawed but constantly strives to make others approve of him (this is a big issue on how he views himself.) He’s overly stubborn and loyal to the way he was raised. (This changes as he opens up to the world more.)

Abilities: His reflexes are quite unnatural for a hunter as he’s a top hunter of the vampire hunter community. Yukie sits on the ranking just behind his father who was head of the hunters clan overseas (Japan). His life has been spent locked away from the world while being trained for killing, it has left his confidence in being around others shaky while his confidence in his abilities to kill sharp and almost cocky.

Postion: Seme

Family Name / Background: Yukie is the only child of an old vampire hunter clan rumored to be cursed to only have offspring once every generation. He is highly protected by his clan and as such has never been outside of the family home being locked away inside his wing of the home. Being heir to the  Black Lotus Mafia, he’s been trained since birth to take over in his fathers place. Yukie has only been viewed as a weapon destined for greatness and one that will usher in the end of vampires. He was viewed so much so that his whole existence was to take out all vampires and restore the world order.

After the peace treaty was signed world wide, the Black Lotus Mafia ended up with their hands tied in how they operated. As one of the highest clans of vampire hunters, they were forced to send their only heir overseas to Cross Academy as a show of good faith.  This was just proof for the government that their clan was going to change and stop hunting vampires for sport and in a cleansing effort. This decree infuriated Yukies father who fought the government tooth and nail to prevent his son from being removed from their household. For five years they fought until their clan was completely wiped out.

Leaving just Yukie behind after all of the bloodshed  yukie witnessed the carnage first hand. Without any choice in how this was done Yukie was forcefully removed from his home and sent off to the Cross Academy school far away from his home. Being so new to the world, and the sudden life change for Yukie had kept him in a state of refusal to leave his room for the first month he had arrived at the dorms and as a result he had become more of a problem for his fellow hunters and teachers.

—————beginning post————

Haru sighed as he walked around the corner of the hallway to the headmasters office. His morning had been pure hell yet again trying to get Yukie to leave his room. While he had been keeping the school informed of his refusal still…he had been quite vocal about sending him back since his aggression towards everyone had ended up putting a handler on his ass. Haru was meant to keep an eye on him to keep Yukie from killing the vampires and to keep Yukie from running the second he was out of watchful eyes. While he had gotten much pushback from the hunters when they had first arrived none of them had been so angry as Yukie had to the point he had grown quite quick to dodging anything thrown at him when he did his check in in the morning.

Seeing the other hunters lined up and behaving he cursed Yukie again for making his job so much more difficult. Haru was the one in charge of the dorms where the hunters lived so he made sure they had everything they needed and just generally kept an eye on them. Haru of course once away from the dorms had to finally take a slight sigh of relief at his break from Yukie. Since he had chained the brat to his room to keep him from breaking down his locked door. While he had been given a normal room the first day he arrived much like the other hunters that had quickly changed after the broken window and a heavily bandaged Yukie (who had tried to escape) had changed that arrangement for the time being.

Since then the older man had been ordered ti be glued to Yukies hip until he adjusted. Despite it being a month later since arriving Haru was worried Yukie wouldn’t ever calm down. Waiting by the wall patiently till Cedric was done introducing himself to the student council Haru stood against the wall cursing the brat he was assigned to watch yet again. As he walked up to Cedric he bowed slightly before looking at the vampire taking a moment to think before he spoke.

“I’m sorry, you’re missing one of the student council members this morning. Yukies unable to make it since he’s still feeling under the weather right now.” Haru explained the wording not fully a lie as he looked away being a rather terrible liar.

“I’m sure he will be feeling better by tomorrow. I know he still hasn’t fully moved into his dorm room yet.” Haru added knowing at the rate Yukie was going at he wouldn’t end up moving until the school year ended.

Cedric said nothing as one of the student council members approached him and bowed, but refused to shake his hand. It seems they still had a long way to go when it came to basic respect.

He however didn't blame the hunters. He simply retracted his hand and slipped them into his pockets since none of the members of the student council wanted to touch him, let alone shake his hand. He listened as one of the members explained that one of the students wasn't here.

" oh.. so there are four of you.... even better. I understand... no need to apologize. "

He turned to the head master. " I have full faith and confidence in the choices you have made... I look forward to working with you all. "

He turned back to the three student council members. " If any of you need anything...please do not hesitate to come to me. Please extend this same offer to your friend who isn't here. If you'll excuse me. I have some things I need to take care of. "

He gave the humans a slight nod before leaving the office.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

" Lord Vladimir. Your back. That was fast. "

Cedric shrugged his shoulders, as he entered the Night Class dorms room. The common area was available to everyone and was set up like a living room. Asuna was the first to greet him, immediately getting up form the couch to bow before him. The two other students in the room quickly followed suite.

He waved his hand, as if to tell them that what they were doing wasn't necessary, but never the less... the vampires continued to do so.

"What did the head master want?"

Lucas questioned. Just like the headmaster. He too- had hand selected a group of fellow vampires to help keep things in order. Each one deeply devoted to him or his family in some way.

Lucas Roy Lockwood. An aristocrat with valuable availabilities. He could control fire and was the grandson of Victor Lockwood a powerful memeber on the Vampire council. Despite the boys extreme temper, Lucas was a devoted follower to his family and held him in high regard. He had messy red hair and brown eyes, always wearing loose and baggy clothes. He rarely ever dressed like an aristocrat. He was a boy desperately trying to escape his family's name and responsibilities. Your basic delinquent.

Then there was Asuna Rose Cromwell. A beautiful young lady with soft pink hair and pretty grey eyes. She always carried herself with such grace, but then again.... as a Cromwell... you had too. It was unknown to the rest of the group... but he knew that this Academy was an escape for the girl. She was extremely grateful to him for getting her away from her abusive family. There was no question where her loyalty lied. Her ability....sight. She was able to see into the future through visions. A rare and nearly forgotten practice. She could also enter peoples thoughts and see there past. As well as enter dreams and conjure nightmares. An ability she hated, but Cedric saw it as potentially useful.

Lastly. There was Eric Nash Sterling. Out of the three. Cedric was extremely close to him. The two practically grew up together and he considered the blond a close friend. Unlike Asuna and Lucas, Eric did not have any special ability. He was born into a high level of vampire society, coming from two extremely gifted aristocrat parents... yet he never developed any ability, because of this... he became a disgrace to the Sterling house hold and nearly forgotten by his parents. An outcast. Despite this... Eric was a very kind and cheerful guy. He had a kind smile and stunning green eyes, you'd never he able to tell just by looking at him, all the struggles he went through growing up.

These were the people he trusted. These were the people he'd keep close and in there company, this is where he could let down his guard.

" He just wanted to introduce me to the Student Council. "

" Oh- I see," Asuna blinked. She eagerly approached him. The girl was clearly fawned of him.

" Lord Vladimir. You must be tired. May I make you some tea?"

He smiled at her, nodding.

" I would love some...thank you. "

" I'm excited for school to start! I hope everything goes smoothly " Eric said, being positive and cheerful.

" You are very much into your role of being a student I see. "

" Well of course. I was home schooled so this will be my first experience at an actual school. And with humans for that matter. "

Cedric nodded, moving over to the couch and taking a seat.

Tomorrow...they would make history. There were over 100 vampires attending this Academy...and nearly 200 humans... it wasn't going to be easy looking after so many people...

He was truly greatful for the help. From his friends...and from the hunters.

Edit: Yukie has Heterochromia. One eye is deep green the other deep blue. They appear almost gem like in the light. Also, Yukies position is a Uke.

————————————

-Next Morning-

At the sudden sound of a sharp alarm going off Yukie groaned as he threw his alarm clock at the wall. Rolling over to his comfy bed Yukie groaned as he couldn’t seem to escape the harsh early morning light and the knocking on the door of his paired companion who let himself in. “…classes don’t start for four hours….” Yukie groaned out as he threw a pillow at the males head the man catching the pillow as he smirked.

”well, yes but we have morning runs and to check the grounds. If we are lucky we might find some vampires lurking the grounds to kill.” Taichi offered as he sat on a desk chair giving Yukie time to wake up. “Come on dear leader. You’ve been given your short freedom. Now that you’ve moved on with us you have to try and behave.” Taichi added lightly teasing Yukie who rolled over and sighed in annoyance.

”how much freedom is it when I have an ankle monitor and they won’t even give me a weapon to hunt with? As for moving here…it’s not like I had a choice. Haru moved me in last night.” Yukie grumbled as he slowly crawled out of bed and went over to his closet for clothes. Looking over his identical school uniform options he debated if he would get scolded for taking some scissors to the fabric to make it more comfortable.

”you know, pajamas exist in your third dresser drawer.” Taichi explained as he looked away giving Yukie some privacy but noticing the black lotus tattoo on the back of his neck.

”I thought Haru was waking me up. If I would have know they were sending you I would have behaved.” Yukie shot back with a huff as he rolled his eyes not willing to admit he had a small soft spot for Taichi.

”Haru is taking the week off for his health apparently your to much.” Taichi explained as he played with his gun for a moment checking the sight and bullets before they did their run. Taichi and Yukie had been paired together upon their arrival and after a near death fight upon meeting….well the two had found a common line in the sand. That being said Yukie had dominated on the others proving that he would lead them hence their cold introductions earlier when meeting Cedric.

Because of this anarchy Haru had naturally paired Yukie as leader (despite his issues) and Haru as his second in command. They both worked well together to do their tasks, and until he knew Yukie had settled down and wasn’t so bloodthirsty they would all be paired for their own safety and the vampires.

“You know Haru said if you can make it through the week proving you’re not going to strangle the vampires there’s talk of you getting a gun like the rest of us. Limited bullets of course for the first month.” Taichi explained as he watched Yukie finish getting dressed before getting up and helping the pissed off hunter tie his tie.

”mmh your all blood sucking bastards and traitors to your kind. Socializing so casually with them, wearing their damn uniform.” Yukie grumbled as he moved quickly away from Taichi once he had finished tying his tie and within minutes had his shoes on. “Let’s go. I want to eat breakfast…the sooner we are done the better.” Yukie grumbled as he grabbed his staff, the only weapon he could be trusted with not to murder the other vampires around him the weapon only being used for defense.

While Yukie had been in the beginning refusing to leave his room it had changed when the other three hunters officially moved over to the dorms. Haru at that point being so fed up with Yukie had refused to take him meals and after three days of going on hunger strike Yukie had cracked only having started to slowly comply with behaving since the other three couldn’t sneak him meals having moved.

As the week droned on Yukie had mellowed and while he wouldn’t admit it, it was mostly because he did not liking being isolated from the other hunters. By the time he fully broke he allowed a monitor on his ankle and was moved in late last night before being told the rules much to his annoyance and distaste.

Seeing Yukie’s annoyance Taichi couldn’t help but snicker. ”oh you look oh so eager, it’s a three hour for our patrol. Not to mention stopping to check on the bloodsuckers. I plan to run the whole way so I hope you can keep up boss.” Taichi teased Yukie egging him on a touch as he lead the way Yukie following with a huff behind in silence for the next two hours.

Once they had completed their rounds they continued down the walkway  until they both stopped slightly out of breath at the vampire dormitories.  “Fuck, why do we have to come all the way here. Damn bloodsuckers shouldn’t be catered to.” Yukie grumbled as he tried to catch his breath already lightheaded.

”Vamps own the school only make sense they would make us miserable.” Taichi grumbled as he ran the bell to let them know they where here to check in like asked before going to check on the day classes.

"There here.." Lucas muttered under his breath, his crossed his arms, a frown glued on his face.
" Lord Vladimir- you didn't tell me I had to wear these stupid uniforms!" He yelled, tugging at his tie. "I hate this shit..."

"Really? I kind of like it. Really adds to the school experience." Eric chuckled. "You look more civilized Lucas. "

"Shut it. "

"I think there cute." Asuna said rather softly. " I've...never been to a school before... I'm...excited "

"Tch your all a bunch of loser's," Lucas hissed.

Cedric rolled his eyes sighing softly as he heard the knock at the door. "Lucas do me a favor...don't talk."

Eric and Asuna couldn't help but laugh at the hot head as Cedric opened to door.

" Right on time.... as expected." He smiled at the two hunters.
"Things are good here... the students are mostly relaxing and still settling in."

They still had a handful of hours before night fall. Keeping the two classes separate shouldn't be too difficult. As long as students didn't break curfew.
" Everyone is accounted for. "

“Mmh I’m sure they are, just a warning though we are allowed to shoot anyone who goes off on their own.” Yukie warned Cedric with a scowl as he glared up at the man being just a touch shorter then normal hunters.

”What Yukie means is we will give a warning as instructed….but I can’t guarantee the others will behave.” Tiachi explained trying to fix things for Yukie who was boldly unafraid of Cedric. “So, um this…is the head of the student council. This is Yukie he was sick last time you met him. He will be sitting in on your classes in the evening…to um get to know you, he will then meet up with one of us as your morning escort. With so many students we are stretched a touch thin but we’ve made it so one of us is always with the students and then there’s always two escorts.” Taichi explained as he nudged Yukie forward to pay his respects so they could leave.

”I told you I’m not bowing or doing any of that bullshit to the bloodsuckers. We are all on equal grounds right? Headmaster made it pretty clear when I came here that this is some acceptance bullshit for the year. So why should I treat him like a king or even better than the dirt I walk on?” Yukie added with a huff as he glared up at Cedric ignoring the groan from Taichi who was to tiered to argue with him anymore on his views.

Cedric's smile slowly fadded hearing the hunters warning. He didnt even greet him, much less show any sort of respect. This one was extremely hostile....

He knew that many hunters still held a grudge against there kind but this was Cedric's first time really interacting with Hunters. He had gotten alot of guidance from his parents who constantly delt with the distain of humans and hunters. They had warned him how difficult it would be to prove himself....

< "There will be many hunters that will say hurtful things... but you must remember there hate isn't necessarily directly towards you...but what we are... the pain we have caused.... we must be the ones to speer head the way to peace..." >

His mother's words replayed in his mind.

He turned to face Tiachi who, was a touch nicer. Trying to refraze what his peer said.

( So...his name is Yukie. )

He thought to himself. This hunter was the speer head of the student council. He listened as the other explained the situation. He gave the man a small smile. He expected as much... of course they would have one of the hunters on them 24/7.

The sheer about of doubt these humans had for him and his family was rather insulting, but what could he do?

Even after doing the impossible and stopping a horrific war between the two species. The hunters still hated his family. They would rather see them dead than live in peace.

The next words that came out of Yukie's mouth almost caused Cedric to lose his temper. He wasn't naive enough to expect hunters to bow for him. It was a common curtesy in vampire society but not in the human world.

Being called a bloodsucker however, was new for him. He had never been openly discriminated againest before. In the Vampire world. He was treated like a god.

" What the fuck did you just say!"

Lucas came out of no where, appearing behind Cedric and taking a step toward the humans. His eyes glowing red with anger, but it was Cedric who stopped him- rasing up his arm preventing the hot head vampire from moving forward. He made sure to keep him from leaving the door frame.

"That's not necessary..." Cedric muttered.

He turned to the hunters.

" You are correct. We are equals here. You do not need to practice in our customs or courtesys. However... you might want to brush up on your knowledge and history of who I am... I am here because I believe in my parents dream... together they believe that we can coexist and live in harmony... and thanks to them... I have very little doubt that they are the reason you stand before me today. "

He smiled. Yes... what he just said may very well be true. Before peace was established....may hunters had been killed, and if the war had never stopped. Many thought that the hunters would have been obliterated.

" Do correct me if I'm wrong.. but.... when we were at war with each other...the losses on your side were quite catastrophic...in just three years the hunters association drop to 10%"

This was indeed a fact and recorded in the history books on both sides. It's been 100 years since then...and the Hunter Association was able to bounce back with flying colors....but.. that didn't really mean anything if they still didn't know how to fight.

He sighed. Turning to Tiachi. " History is quite fascinating. If we do not learn from it...we are bound to repeat it. Don't you agree?"

Yukie could only raise an amused brow that calling Cedric a bloodsucker had caused such anger in the other vampire. The act amused him that the vampires could actually be loyal to each other.

Looking down at his right arm Yukie noticed Taichi had grabbed him in the outburst clearly worried Yukie would move to attack, or the vampire would.

”off.” Yukie ordered Taichi who backed off letting Yukie go as the man watched the vampires. Yukie being so locked away had never really been around vampires before. Sure he had killed plenty of the bloodsuckers, but…well it had been for training. Since Yukie was the only blood heir to the clan his father found it risky to send him out into the world since he wanted to continue the clans lineage so it could continue to grow in followers.

”I care not for who you are though it’s nice to put a family name for all the bloodshed and war you brought my family and the innocents that lived among us.” Yukie snapped as he glared at Cedric.

“Your parents dream of this silly school to change our minds…it means nothing if you vampires allow and continue to kill and massacre as you do. Whether your killing for my kind for their views, to fit your parents dream, or just unlucky humans your mutts attack. Your school will fail if either side steps across the line.” Yukie stated with a frown as he refused to back down from this squabbled the man stubborn headed.

“While you can be all high and mighty and quote history all you want. You shouldn’t think so highly of yourself and your family, your kind has just as much blood on their hands…maybe you should see how some hunters lived to become this way. Some of my ancestors only joined to protect their family from the mutts of your kind. My ancestors they dreamed of their children not being afraid, a life without being preyed upon by the bloodsucking mutts you refuse to kill and control.” Yukie finished with a glare as he was talking about the level E vampires something his ancestors had been plagued with back home to the point his family had become a mafia syndicate of hunters to eradicate them. Yukie finished as he glared daggers at the man before him even more pissed off by how princely he stood before him the act alone irritating Yukie to no end.

”I think. That history is flawed on both sides. Learning to live alongside each other might be hard at first but maybe we can as hunters at least walk unarmed around each other one day.” Taichi offered as a solution while he looked at Cedric, Taichi offering an apologizing look as he grabbed Yukie quickly and pulled him away. “We are glad to meet without bloodshed this morning….but we have to go. Yukie will see you in the evening class and I’ll bring him by as the second escort.” Taichi added quickly basically dragging Yukie away from the vampires so he couldn’t run his mouth anymore. Taichi was cursing Yukie for his mouth, Taichi was just trying to keep the situation at this point from getting physical, that way there wouldn’t be any Issues for his report to the headmaster on Yukie meeting the vampires finally..

Cedric but his lip as Yukie defended himself. Not backing down. Sure there was blood shed on both sides. War was ugly... unforgiving. Cruel.

The only reason his family was so different than most... was because of the human his parents adopted. He still remembered the days when his parents kept him and his siblings in hiding... and when his parents would come home smelling of blood. Some days he worried that one day...his parents wouldn't come home.

But image his suprise when his parents brought home a human baby. From his understanding. His parents were sent to kill some hunters and after finding there location and killing the two humans. They realized the two hunters had been a couple and they had been trying to hide and protect there baby.

According to his mother....she immediately felt the need to take care of the child. To raise him....save him... as if they could atone for there sins. As if they could right this wrong.

It took raising a human...for his parents to realize that the war needed to end. That humans had so much more to offer.

He wasn't sure how many hunters his parents killed before they had a change of heart... but he knew that both sides were desperately trying to protect themselves. His parents never started the war...but they did end it...and that should at the very least count for something. Right?

Durning the war, many purebloods forcefully turned humans into vampires in order to boost there numbers and prevent themselves from fighting. And many of them would let these humans spiral into insanity. Causing them to go on horrific massacres. Killing anyone and everyone. It didn't matter the age. Once a newborn fell to Level E. It was the End of there sanity. They were just mindless beasts at that point, monsters craving blood.

What they did was wrong... shameful...cruel... He knew that...so...he couldn't and wouldn't defend the actions his people took during the war.

The boys glare was chilling. He had so much hate and rage inside of him...

So this is what his parents were up aginest. People like this who refused to forgive them. It had been decades since the war...and yet the hunters still behave as if it was yesterday.

( how .... am I suppose to heal something...I had no part of )

He thought to himself. How do you even begin to right this wrong? This school was a mere stepping stone to a long lasting climb to peace.

"You hunters act like the victims, but your the ones who attacked us first!" Lucus hissed.

" That's enough."

Cedric muttered. And Lucas immediately shut his mouth. If you asked each side who started the war... each side would blame the other. It's still unclear as to how, or who started the war. Not that it really mattered.

" I don't wish to argue with you...with any of you...I know we still have a long way to go... neither side can atone for there sins...but...as a new generation emerges...we have the power to make sure that the past never repeats itself. "

He turned to Taichi as he chimed in and began to pull Yukie away.

As Cedric watched the two leave, he couldn't help but think, ( This is going to be...alot harder than I thought...mother.. )

Cedric had never had human blood before. In fact. Once the war came to an end...his family created blood tablets with the help of Adam...the human child his parants had taken in. It took a few years...but it was a rather ingenius invention. The tablets were put in water...and could give a vampire the nutrition needed without drinking human blood. The only problem...it wasnt very tasty. It took awhile for vampires to adapt to such a concept, but a majority of them did... and within 50 years, the attacks on humans and vampires drinking blood decreased immensely.

As successful as the blood tablets were... they didn't work for some people and of course you had vampires that didn't approve of his family's actions. They argued with them and the Vampire council.

Why should we change who and what we are? Why must we accommodate them when we are the superior species!

The backlash his family received back them...was rough.

While attending this Academy...all the students would be drinking blood tablets...since drinking blood from an actual human was forbidden...

Cedric closed the door behind him. Clearly lost in thought. It was Eric who brought him out of his darkness. " Lord Vladimir...are you okay?"

He looked up at the blond, seeing the concern he had on his face...in fact... all three of them looked concerned for him.

" You need not worry... I am fine..." He lied.

The pressure he had on his shoulders.... was inconceivable.

~Later that evening~

Taichi groaned as he let out a deep yawn the student council all having promptly been run into the ground on their first day helping the humans. The students had been excited about the other unknown night class, more then once the four hunters had to escort humans who had wandered off back to their grounds. After a few death glares and scolding from Yukie they had all quieted down and fallen in line for the evening Yukie of course refusing to believe the night would continue without incident.

The four had done their work and kept up on attending their own studies. Pushing them all to a new level of multitasking. To offset they had alternating free time at which they could recharge and rest back in what was essentially a small closet, many of them were placed through the school.

The idea of course was offered up by Haru  who pushed for making sure they all had a way to cool down and take a break with both groups of students through the day and night. As the human students where ushered into their dorms and the day shift sent off to their dorms Taichi could only flop on Yukies bed despite his superiors annoyance.

”We still have the nightclass escort. Don’t get to comfortable.” Yukie grumbled still a touch sore from his spat with Cedric earlier, the day class hadn’t help with that since he had to leave his scheduled sleeping time to help control the masses.

Glaring in frustration at the damn tie again Yukie threw the damn thing at the wall cursing very loudly. “Fucking cocky ass vampires and dumb ass humans. I didn’t sign up for this shit. Goddamn glorified babysitter…” Yukie snapped as he leaned his head against the wall and closed his eyes taking a long moment to calm his anger.

Yukie was frustrated with more than just the situation surrounding him. He was still homesick…and well he didn’t even believe he had a home to go back to. He knew Haru talked about him staying long term if needed but he didn’t want to go home to actually say goodbye to his clan and visit their graves. He had hoped someone from the villages they protected had given them all a nice burial…had at least buried them. For Yukie being so far from home and without anyone to contact was agony at times.

He had never asked to be the cause of his clans bloodshed…he had never thought his elders refusal to send him would leave him alone…would leave him as the last of his clan. It hurt to think of those he lost…of how alone he was in such a strange place and with so many people telling him what to do. That alone was something only his father had done back home no one had dared to do such a thing.

Not only had he been forced to obey and fit this role…deep down he was secretly terrified having never been up against vampires who were actual feral mutts and insane. Yukies training had been killing them in the safety of his own home… of course he wasn’t without help if the mutts ever got out of hand. That was how he was trained growing up and these were the only kind of vampires he had known. Meeting all of these different types so suddenly had put him in a spiraling shock that redirected into a deep pit of defense and hatred.

Removing himself from the wall Yukie picked up his tie once calm and continued to work on it again. After about ten minutes he sighed in annoyance and turned to asked Taichi only to find him out cold in his bed the man looking more exhausted then he had let on.

Shaking his head in amusement Yukie wondered how the three had been recommended the three having been completely overtaken with exhaustion so early in the night. Grabbing a blanket Yukie tossed it over Taichi and grabbed his bag with some schoolwork and his lunch to at some point sneak away and eat. Turning off the light he checked in the small dorms for the student council and noticed the other two asleep on the couch.

Walking over Yukie covered them both up with a blanket and closed up their shared living area before leaving one lamp on and walked out with his stuff, locking the door behind him.

After about two hours Yukie had reached the vampire dorms the sun just nearly getting ready to start setting. Ringing the bell he waited for them to arrive his mind wandering to what Cedric had pointed out earlier about both sides.

While he wouldn’t opening admit it he had noticed some things his Father and Grandfather had said were quite different on what he had seen and experienced in the day he had been here.

For starters…he hadn’t been immediately attacked by the vampires earlier. This was something he had been told his whole life would happen if he left the family home. Something else he noticed was that the night class seemed much different compared to the mutts he had known his whole life…in fact it made him uneasy to see the vampires so….human. It was as if they were putting on an act to get his guard down.

Yukie had felt the same way when it came to meeting the vampire that escorted him from his home all the way to the school. She had been kind  to him despite his anger and refusal to cooperate. She had been so patient as she cared for him and even wished him to be safe in his travels after he had been handed over to Haru to finish the rest of his journey.

Leaning against the wall Yukie huffed in annoyance at his feelings the man looked at the sky to distract himself from such silly thoughts. He had to remain strong in his family teachings…he couldn’t be conflicted or let his guard down because the second he did he knew it would end in him getting killed.

Letting out a huff of anger Yukie slammed his fist on the door tiered of waiting on the leeches.

( The first thing I wanna do....is thank you. )

Cedric communicated telepathically to his peers. All the vampires had gathered in the common area, all of them seeking his guidance.

Cedric did something extremely rare.... he bowed before the others. Despite being a Pureblood. He was giving respect to them.

All the other students stood before him in awe. Unsure how to respond. He continued.

( As many of you know... hunters and humans do not trust us. Many of you spent most of your lives hiding in the shadows....This Academy is just a stepping stone towards peace. This Academy is my mother's dream...but I can't make her dream a reality on my own. In order to make progress. In order to move forward... I will need your help. You all will determine the future of this world....not me. As a new generation emerges... we must set a new example. Build a new world.... a world where neither side suffers.)

His eyes scanned the room, each of these vampires.... seemed to be taking in his words.

( Please....help me....help my family...create a new future )

"YES. LORD VLADIMIR. "

All of the students said in unison. Bowing before him in order to not only show him respect, but show him where there loyalty lied.

" I am forever in your debt. "

He offered the other students a smile. Just as there meeting was ending. There was a knock at the door. No doubt one of the student council members here to escort them to class.

Asuna was the one to open the door. She stared at Yukie as if she was looking a something...beautiful. Her Grey eyes grew wide, beaming with delight.

" ooooo~ So this is what a Hunter looks like! Your so handsome! I thought youd all be scary looking. " She giggled.

"FIX YOUR DAMN EYES!" Lucas yelled. Shoving past the girl and glaring at Yukie.

" Raise your standards princess. This hunter is nothing but trash. "

Cedric rolled his eyes and immediately hit Lucas on the head. " ack!"

" Forgive him...he's overly passionate. "

He stepped out the building, and behind him.... were 100 vampires. Each one blessed with good looks. They all looked so beautiful and human like... that it would be hard to tell they were even vampires. Even with all of them wearing the night class uniforms, they all looked like models.

" It's pleasure to see you again... shall we go?"

As they began there walk to the Academy, the sun was setting, turning the sky into a mix of pink, purple, and orange. Eric was the one who seemed to really admire the view.

" So pretty~ Don't you think Asuna."

The girl only nodded, her eyes stuck on Yukie. She had never met a hunter before. She had never came across a human before and she couldn't help but be fascinated by him.

Cedric, walked beside Yukie, but made sure to keep plenty of distance between them... he didn't want to make him uncomfortable.

" Asuna... its rude to stare. "

The girl gasped. " Really?! Oh! I'm sorry. I had no idea!" She clapped her hands together and deeply apologized to Yukie. She behaved almost like a child... despite looking like a full grown adult.

She wasn't the best when it came to interacting with others. " Forgive me. I can't help it! You look so cool! "

" KNOCK IT OFF! You do realize your admiring a fucking murder. " Lucas hissed.

Eric quickly covered his mouth, laughly awkwardly.

" Don't mind him." He said to Yukie.

"Lucas.. did you forget what Lord Vladimir told us just momemts ago. Please watch your temper. " He whispered. The hot head only grunted, looking extremely annoyed.

Cedric only sighed. Glancing back at his friends and the many vampire students following them. It was odd...leading so many people.

" As the head of the night class... thank you for escorting us.."

Cedric said.

Once they reached the Academy, Cedric made sure to open the door for his classmates as they filed into the building and separated into different classrooms. He glanced over a Yukie...he still sensed so much hatrd raiding off his body.

" Do you plan on sitting in on some of our classes too?" He questioned.

Walking alongside Cedric Yukie was grateful for the distance as he was unsure just how tempting his smell was to vampire since they were basically aliens in his mind. Hearing Asuna apologize for stating he turned around to look at her easily walking backwards as if he had taken centuries of ballet and dance. “Asuna right? Well thank you for the compliment, though I feel the suit takes away a touch of my otherworldly coolness” Yukie teased slightly as he looked at the girl not bothered by her staring at all. Before he could ask why she was staring at him his words were suddenly brought to a halt. Hearing him being called a murderer so coldly and sharply Yukie glared back at the man his actions bringing an instant stop to whatever chance he had at connecting right there and then and showing kindness to the vampires.

Frowning Yukie flipped off the vampire in response and walked forward more taking more of a lead. As they walked and Yukie continued escorting it was just starting to sink in how deep he had fallen into a common mistake of fake friendship…how foolish he had been trusting the girls words were honest. Feeling that deep hatred for this place and the vampires it only reminded Yukie how much his father ha d preached was true. The wouldn’t never be friends with his kind it was a line in the sand or war…there would never be any inbetween.

Arriving at the doors Yukie looked over to Cedric as he thanked him for the escort. If Cedric had said it before Lucas had lashed at him, Yukie would have thought Cedric was being somewhat sincere.  Having been attacked for nothing other then talking to the girl well it proved her intentions and now Cedric’s were just another trick to get his guard down.

“I hope…your kind…behaves today when it comes to being and staying in class. I’ve spent all day chasing the days students back to class, I’ve had five alone get stuck in the trees trying to look over the fence to your dorm.” Yukie replied as he sighed and adjusted his bag.

“I’m hoping I don’t have to pull your students out of trees or dorm rooms. Because unlike the day class I’m allowed to use force as needed.” Yukie grumbled giving a fair warning to the bloodsucker as he was told to. Yukie huffed as he looked away at the question of how he spent his time the man clearly exhausted by the day classes antics.

”…I’m unsure your kind have anything to teach me that I don’t know or I’m not being forced to learn from the day classes.” Yukie replied his voice firm with more annoyance than hatred resonating from his words as he turned and walked off to the small desk positioned in the middle of the entry adjacent to the pathways to the exit and the other classrooms.

Settling down to keep watch Yukie stopped for a second as he set his packed dinner down before looking at Cedric. “Cedric.….will my food bother your kind….the smell I mean….it has garlic in it.” Yukie asked hesitantly feeling very foolish for asking such a question but well…he had mixed results on the answer. While he usually wouldn’t care how the vampires would feel, since it was just him covering everything he was also a tad nervous being in a den of angry vampires who most likely would love to use his dinner as an excuse to fight.

Cedric sighed underneath his breath. Just when it seemed like they were making progress, Lucas's temper got the better of him. The pureblood took notice of how the hunter seemed to immediately shut down and lose any intrest in continuing to talk to Asuna.

[ “I hope…your kind…behaves today when it comes to being and staying in class. I’ve spent all day chasing the days students back to class, I’ve had five alone get stuck in the trees trying to look over the fence to your dorm.” ]

Cedric only smiled. " Sorry for the trouble. We are only mysterious now... once our two classes start interacting.... I'm sure things will settle down. "

When Yukie compared his class mates to the humans. He scuffed, shaking his head.

" I'll make sure no one causes you trouble. "

When the hunter rejected his invitation to join in on there class. He tilted his head slightly in confusion.

[ "…I’m unsure your kind have anything to teach me that I don’t know or I’m not being forced to learn from the day classes.” ]

" Is that so? Well...considering that the day class students are unaware of our existence... I doubt they go over Vampire history. "

He took notice in how annoyed Yukie seemed. His eyes followed the human as he walked off and sat himself at a desk in the middle of the entry way adjacent to the exit.

It seems the hunters really had no faith in him. Or his abilities. Especially if they were going to watch over them, Day and night. There was no trust. But then again.... trust had to be built.

Cedric gave the human a nod, as he headed to class, but as he was opening the door to leave. The hunter asked him a question. To his surprise...Yukie was being considerate. He blinked at the human... seeing he was serious.

" Do not worry. While it's true our senses are heightened...the smell of garlic doesn't really bother us. If anything its a rather... inconvenient smell.... if you'll excuse me. "

And with that, Cedric disappeared into his classroom, leaving Yukie alone in the hallway.

" What are you doing Asuna?" Eric whispered. He was sitting next to the girl in the very back of the class with Cedric and Lucus. She smiled.

" Take notes."

" Oh? Are you finding this lecture Intresting?"

"You idiot.. this is basic shit everyone should know. " Lucus hissed. Leaning back in his chair and looking extremely annoyed and bored out of his mind.

" Lucas...not everyone here grew up like you...and not every had the same opportunities as you...please be considerate. " Cedric muttered. His tone stern. Which immediately made Lucas shut up.

"My bad...Lord Vladimir. "

"Lord Vladimir...what do you think of that hunter?"

Eric spoke to him, resting his elbows on the desk and glancing out the window.

"He seems to think we're all the same... you heard him comparing us to Level E's."

"Which is extremely insulting. " Lucus huffed.

Asuna chimed in. "Maybe it was his first time meeting vampires like us... like how it was my first time meeting a hunter..its never what you expect. "

Cedric shrugged.

Durning the weekdays the Night Class and Day class would operate separately, but durning the weekends when the students were free to roam the campus. They two classes would be able to interact and mingle. He hoped that when this happened. Things would go smoothly and considering that this weekend, the day class students would be setting up clubs... this would be the perfect opportunity for the night class students to bond and connect with humans.

Finishing his meal Yukie sighed as he stared up at the ceiling bored out of his mind. Having already finished his schoolwork while eating he was rather annoyed that the task hadn’t taken longer. Getting up he set his bag in the small hunter storage room and wandered around the hallway peeking in the classes as he looked at the lecture info on the board. Raising a brow at one he quietly slipped in and sat in the very back in line chair. For the next hour he listened to the lecture before slipping out amused by the lesson and went to another eventually ending up at Cedric’s class his hand hesitantly on the knob before he like before quietly slipped in.

Sitting down in the back he watched the students studying them and the lecture as he tried to make sense of all he learned. Yukie was unsure what to believe, the teachings were so different compared to what he had been taught by his elders and father. He found the information conflicting and well…it made him question if his family could have helped those that had become vampires. He had wondered if there was a better way to care for them since they hadn’t accepted animal blood and where he was at the time didn’t have the blood tablets. The blood tablets was new information to him, the idea of fake blood satisfying the vampire’s was questionable to him in its methods.

As the lecture continued on Yukie had many questions though he was unsure if he could ask them, since technically he was trying to not draw attention to himself. Eventually Yukie rested his head on the desk still listening to the lecture not even catching the fact he was slipping into sleep. After about ten minutes of his head resting on his arms he was out cold the poor man having been exhausted by his day and at the second he had to relax his body was out like a light despite the fact he was in a den of vampires.

Cedric found himself staring out the window. The full moon looked extremely beautiful tonight. In a world where so many people hated you...it was sometimes difficult to see the beauty in things.

When he suddenly heard the classroom door open all eyes turned to see who was interrupting the lecture. To his surprise it was Yukie. All the vampires stared at him, with there super heightened senses it would be odd if they didn't notice him come into the room.

" Class...Eyes up here. Pay attention. "

With that, many of the vampires turned away. But Cedric couldn't help but continue to watch the young hunter. Was he actually sitting in on a lecture? And was he actually paying attention?

An hour passed before the teacher released them. Cedric watched as his fellow peers left the room. He even instructed his friends to go on with out. He waited until everyone was out of the room before he approached the sleeping human. But he did not wake him up...at least. Not yet. Cedric sat on the desk next to Yukie...and simply watched him sleep.

Vampires didn't really need sleep. They could go on for about 3 weeks with out it. And when they did sleep. It was only for a few hours to regain there strength. To him... it always fascinated him that humans needed so much sleep. And they always looked so peaceful. They were fragile beings.

He let the hunter sleep for another thirty mintues before he attempted to wake him up.
"Yukie...wake up... you fell asleep.."
He said. He didn't want to touch the boy incase he attacked him.

"You must be exhausted...I'm sorry for all the trouble. You and the student council must be working very hard. "

“Mmmgnh.” Yukie grumbled as he slowly woke up his body groggy as he looked at Cedric sleepily. Letting out a small groan of annoyance at waking up he buried his head into his arms for another few moments to keep soaking up what sleep he could.

After a few quiet moments what was happening suddenly clicked in Yukies mind as he jumped a little and moved away from Cedric slightly panicked that he had made the stupidest mistake ever of falling asleep. “Fuck…fuck where is the rest of the class?” Yukie asked panicked at the thought he had missed his escort not even remembering he had assigned his other two to take the night class back and Taichi to pick him up after the night classes had been taken back since he planned to get two hours of sleep in their small storage room. “Shit….You all should have just.” Yukie mumbled as he looked at Cedric so much confusion in his eyes as he tried to make sense of what he had learned and the fact that they hadn’t tried to kill him when his defenses where down. To him all he had learned tonight was going against everything he had been raised to believe.

Cedric titled his head to the side as he watched the human panic. When he asked him where the rest of the class was he simply said, "They went to there next lecture." He glanced down at his watch. "In another hour they'll be dismissed and will return to the dorms."
He looked up at the hunter seeing the confusion in his eyes. He wasn't quite sure why he was looking at him in such a manner. Didn't the Hunters educate there own?

He gave the hunter a smile.
"You look like you have some questions... we do have time..."
He took a seat and gestured over to the seat next to him.
" Don't worry... I won't bite." He teased.

“….I…do have some, though the questions…might end up getting me bit.” Yukie admitted as he looked away a small blush on his cheeks as he followed and sat down where he could sit closer and across from Cedric.

”….How…are you all not ravenous? Don’t you all need to feed daily?” Yukie started having not really gotten much info before being thrown into his work and new life. “There aren’t enough humans around to satisfy all of you, so it’s like a lottery system?” Yukie asked cautiously as he studied his hands for a moment clearly nervous asking his questions since this was his sworn enemy it was so foolish to be letting his guard down. “So much that your kind teaches is wrong…it doesn’t make sense…” Yukie explained a deep confusion in his eyes as he finally looked at Cedric.

Cedric raised an eyebrow at the hunter. Alittle suprised that he thought his questions would upset him. He waited for the other to sit near him...and finally...the questions came.

["….How…are you all not ravenous? Don’t you all need to feed daily?”"]

Cedric shook his head. " No..that's a common misconception. We can go a few months without drinking blood. And not to mention i spent years building my tolerance and self - control. Tho the longer we go without drinking blood, the weaker and more vulnerable we are. I think your confusing us with Level Es. There are levels to vampires society. At the top are the Purebloods. Like myself. Born as vampires. Then the Aristocrats... there blood is mixed with humans...but they are still born vampires. Next are the Typical Vampires...the ones turned into humans. And Lastly are Level Es being the lowest. When a human is turned into a vampire ...it is important for them to Ingest the blood of the one that created them...if they dont...they eventually go insane with hunger and blood lust....which forces them to fall to Level E. E...meaning the End. These vampires...are the ones your probably most familiar with. They are beasts in human form that can not be reasoned with. They are the reason why the Hunter Association was created. "

[ “There aren’t enough humans around to satisfy all of you, so it’s like a lottery system?”]
Cedric only smiled at the Hunter. It seemed that today's lecture really contradicted whatever the Hunters were teaching him.

" Self control is key...and with blood tablets..it makes it much easier. For decades...Vampires only saw humans as food...nothing more...but since the end of the war..my family has spent decades trying to change and challenges that view..."

He slowly stood. " It's not easy to change an ideology....You can either be apart of the problem...or part of the solution...As I said before...this Academy is the first step to seeing if Humans and Vampires can co-exists. This Academy is my mother's dream...I will not let it fail. "

He gave the Hunter a nod before turning to leave. " I will go on ahead to the next lecture. "

“Okay.” Yukie replied as he mulled over all his questions and thought to himself for a moment. Getting up he followed Cedric out to find Taichi waiting with an early breakfast his two other reliefs finally arriving.

”Thank you for soloing the shift. Must have been mind numbingly boring.” Taichi teased as Yukie shrugged and took his breakfast bag. “You can head back now, we can do the final classes and escort the vamps back to their dorms and check on the humans.” Taichi added as he set up his own supplies where Yukie had been previously the second hunter going to the storage room to set up his own spot since he was just backup.

”Thank you, my night was uneventful…though insightful. If you two get around to it sitting in on the classes is interesting. I won’t require it…but it wouldn’t hurt to know our enemies better.” Yukie pointed out with a chuckle as he adjusted his backpack.

”Mmh I’ll keep that insane idea in mind. Oh, I also set your mail in your room you got quite a bit. Seems it’s from overseas I snatched it before it could be taken to the mail room to be inspected. Thought you might enjoy some sense of privacy.” Taichi added as he waved Yukie off who was confused by the mail being sent to him since it was just him now. Heading back to his own dorm and room Yukie let out a deep sigh as he fell back on his bed laying among the seven packages Taichi had stacked at the end of his bed his mind racing at what he had learned.

”Blood tablets….Is he just lying to me about such things existing?” Yukie mumbled before slowly sitting up the deep exhaustion of the day hitting his body as he sat in silence. Looking at the packages he opened up the letter first skimming through it the letting being orders to eradicate as many vampires as he could after taking out the head of the vampire class. This obviously was a joke. Even if it matched the information…it couldn’t have been more than a prank since the hunters were only given one bullet each by the headmaster for their gun.

Setting the letter aside Yukie worked on the other packages finding six months worth of ammunition and some vampire knives. In the biggest box he opened it to pull out a gun the pistol holding ten bullets at a time and customized to his feel. Yukie frowned as he inspected the gun noticing a black lotus mark engraved on the handle. Taking it apart Yukie inspected the gun making sure everything was working before setting it down and looking at the letter again it was clear he had been finally given his first mission by the hunter society. Picking up the gun he slowly loaded all ten bullets before tucking it away in his uniform only to find that it wasn’t a secure fit. Taking off his jacket Yukie quickly got to work adjusting the inside to hold his knives and gun the vampire hunter working late into the morning to adjust his clothing to his desire comfort.

———meanwhile———

Taichi groaned in boredom as he rocked on his chair the clicking of the clock driving him mad as he tried to pass the time so he could go to his own more fun classes. “Come on….how much education do the bloodsuckers need? Aren’t they all like nanny raised?” Taichi mumbled as the other hunter snickered.

”please this is just like play pretend for them. They are bored so they are playing human. It’s so obvious. We’re just here to keep them playing human so they don’t get bored and go after the real humans.” The other hunter chimed in as they laughed at the though if vampires even caring about schoolwork.

  • 2 weeks later...

"Like we'd ever wanna be like you." Lucas hissed as he stepped out of the classroom, behind him was the rest of the night class. It seems that they were all finally dismissed.

"Vampires have always been the superior race. You best remember that..."

Eric quickly came up behind Lucas and covered his mouth.

" My apologies...he just says whatever comes to mind. "

He laughed, pushing Lucas along as they headed outside. Cedric was the last to leave the classroom. Making sure no one was left behind though he was rather lost in thought...

So far the first day of this school had went off with out a hitch....and yet... he wasn't satisfied.

( This is going to be alot harder than I thought...)

He wasn't use to so much hatrd. He could see it in the hunters eyes every time they looked at him and his fellow classmates.

{ A few days later }

The week went by quickly. So when the weekend finally arrived and the day class and night class were free to roam around the campus, many day class students jumped at the chance. In fact... this Saturday the day class students were holding a club fair. This was an opportunity for the students to not only get involved in extra critical activities but also mingle with the other classes.

Many of the vampires however, didn't want to go, despite Cedric's encouraging words.

So it was just him, Eric, Asuna, Lucas, and about six other vampires who ventured outside the dorms.

It was Cedric who was leading the students to campus. It was around twelve in the afternoon and it was extremely sunny and hot. Alot of the students, including himself were wearing casual clothing. Asuna was wearing a adorable pink dress and carrying an umbrella with her for shade. Unlike her peers, she lacked a high tolerance for sunlight. So she burned really easily.

Despite that, she was by far the most excited to mingle and meet the day class students.

" I don't know why you guys dragged my ass out here." Lucas muttered. He was definitely sulking.

" Oh come now... don't be like that... this will be Intresting. I wonder what clubs the humans will have," Eric smiled. Cedric simply nodded.

They may not be making any progress with the hunters, but perhaps they'd be able to make progress with the humans.

" oh wow! Your part of the night class!"

Cedric looked up to see a handful of day class students mingling outside the main campus. Some of them were behind sign up tables, handing out flyers.

Before he could get a word out, the humans swarmed him and his classmates. Attracted by they're beauty.

( Everyone...please be respectful. )

He spoke to his peers telepathically before offering the humans before him a smile.

" Hello. My name is Cedric. It's a pleasure to meet you all ..."

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Before he knew it Asuna was swept away by some students wanting her to join there book club. They pulled her under a tree, sitting in a circle and drinking tea. She had never been surrounded by so many girls before...let alone humans.

Eric found himself mingling with the music club. He was extremely impressed by how so many humans could play instruments like he did. However he was forced to only play classical instruments. So when he saw a human playing a guitar, he was immediately fascinated. "I've only read about these. Will you please play it for me?"

Lucas was forced into a game of basketball tho he had no idea how to play. Cedric was quick to remind him to not over do it and watch his temper.

With all the other students mingling with the day class students, he decided to take a seat under a shady bench.

As the weekend approached Yukie sighed in relief as he flopped on the couch for a moment the early morning calm as he relaxed. Soaking in the quiet he took some time to think his mind wandering to the clubs and activities scheduled for today. While the hunters weren’t required to take as many classes as the day or night class in order to get out of a heavy class load they had to either join five clubs and be a present figure in the day and night clubs…or they had to be head of a club and run it successfully. For Yukie he had chosen to create his own club the male finding it preferable then managing five clubs worth of activities. Getting up Yukie let out a small sigh as he went to his room and changed out of his pajamas.

”Boss! We are going ahead!” The three yelled going off to help manage crowds and keep an easy eye the three also excited for their own clubs to give them a break from school and work.

”I’ll be at my area if you need me!” Yukie yelled out as he poked his head out and waved goodbye to the three before continuing to get dressed. Finishing up Yukie stood checking out his kimono in the mirror the clothing rather soothing as he let out a deep longing sigh. The large suitcase he brought had been clothes like this various kimonos he had been gifted by his family and those who had treasured him. For Yukie the clothing was a comfort and something he had been looking forward to wear on weekends. Naturally he would have worn a more relax casual kimono but being apart of the clubs he found it more appropriate to wear something nice to represent his club.

Tying up his hair Yukie took a moment as he realized how much longer it had gotten since he had left home the locks shining under his fingers as he tied them up and fastened the hair back. Slipping on some socks and casual slippers that matched his outfit Yukie stopped for a second questioning wether the cherry blossom kimono was to feminine before shrugging it off and headed to his bed. Picking up the two large boxes of supplies he carried them to the common area and started setting up the area laying out canvases and many art stations full of supplies of many types for students to try out.  Settling down on a chair he greeted humans making a note that he hadn’t seen any vampires yet. Welcoming everyone to the art club Yukie talked the students through the projects they would do from photography all the way to ceramics and fiber art.

As the morning dragged on Yukie raised a brow and smirked as he noticed some of the day class students walking around and that they were dragged off to clubs and activities. He was amused the vampires would even be interested and that they seemed to be having fun. Sitting in his chair under the big tree he continued sketching in the shade avoiding the sun on his skin due to being albino he wasn’t wanting to battle a suit and sunburn this week. Yukie having tied his sleeves back earlier to keep him kimono clean worked to the soft sound of piano music playing from a small speaker. As Yukie worked on the sketch of the school his eyes glanced up every now and then from his drawing, the artwork alone being rather impressive as if Yukie had taken a photograph and glued it to the paper.

  • 2 weeks later...

As the night class students mingled with the day class students. Something interesting had drawn Cedrics attention. To his suprise he spotted Yukie underneath a tree. The boy was wearing a kimono, something that Cedric had rarely ever seen. Curious... Cedric made his way over to Yukies station.

" You're a artist?"
Cedric asked, as he took notice of the hunter sketching. He glanced at the sign on Yukies table. It seems he wanted to establish a art club and that he would be the head of it.

Out of all the hunters. Cedric was very curious about Yukie. He was not only a foreigner but he also seemed to hold a deeper hatrd for his kind then the others. And for some reason...Cedric wanted to know why.
" I apologize if I'm bothering you...may I ask what your drawing?"

“I enjoy the arts, and different medias.” Yukie replied as he continued to work not even glancing at Cedric as he finished up a few more lines and set down his supplies. Turning to him he looked at the vampire amused by his casual clothes.

“I am drawing the school. It’s the only place I haven’t drawn yet at the school. I kept a record of my life from sketches. People I meet memories I cherish…people and homes that I’ve lost.” Yukie explained as his voice hinted at some sadness with those memories as he mentioned to the five thick leather books lying open on the table. The books contained various pictures in many different forms of media each page more beautiful than the last. “This school has become my home for the last few months…it’s only fitting I add it to my collection to remember my time here.” Yukie explained as he gently took the drawing and coated it with a clear preserving spray and then after a few minutes of drying he went to the black leather book and opened to the blank page inserting it carefully like he had done all the others.

”I thought making this club would give me some solitude but I have a few members who are interested.” Yukie explained as he adjusted the picture before the one he had drawn that was of the night class dorms, before that picture there was the night class students all drawn in (those he had met) and his fellow hunters, along with the faculty. “This black one is for my life here. The two blue ones…are of my family and the green one is from my general life as a hunter.” Yukie admitted with a blush as he looked at Cedric feeling a touch nervous as he spoke the casual setting clearly unusual for him.

“The red one is more of a personal project…things or people that have caught my interest….or have at one point loved.” Yukie explained as he looked away his face a touch red as he had a few sketches of his crush surprisingly most of them male. “Might I ask why you’re here though? I would expect you to be in a classical music group…or some kinda manners and etiquette group.” Yukie asked with a huff as he organized some supplies and cleaned up some art others had left only to hand them on display on a line tied to the trees.

Cedric listened as Yukie informed him about his love for art and drawing. His eyes wondering over the many drawings scattered around his table.

[ “I am drawing the school. It’s the only place I haven’t drawn yet at the school. I kept a record of my life from sketches. People I meet memories I cherish…people and homes that I’ve lost.” ]

Cedric raised an eye brow, rather intrigued. So if he looked through the hunters many sketch books he'd get a glimpse of his life and past. He listened as the human said that this Academy had become his home... a term that surprised the Vampire.

" A home you say.... I see... I am glad..."

He wanted this place to be a success, and having the students feel at home... was just part of his mother's vision. He watched as the human gently coated his artwork in a clear preserving spray before letting it dry and adding it to his collection.

Cedric admired how careful and serious Yukie took his art. It was clear that he had a deep talent and passion for drawing.

[ ”I thought making this club would give me some solitude but I have a few members who are interested.” ]

" I see..."

He glanced at the many sketch books on the table. Each one filled with something that Yukie deemed important. The black one contained scratches of his life, the blue ones of his family, the green gave insight to the life of a hunter and the red one? Well.... that seemed to have more personal sketches. He smiled at the thought of being in one of his books.

When the hunter looked up at him and asked why he was here. He shrugged.

" I just wanted to bring the night class students out and give them a opportunity to join a club."

He watched as the human became to reorganize his table, putting away his things.

" Do you think you have room for one more memeber?"

He asked with a rather innocent grin on his face. He was curious about Yukie...and..he was now curious about the boys sketch books. He wanted to see all the things he drew.

" If your done recruiting memebers for the day...could I intrest you grabbing a drink? We could go to the café on campus..."

Cedric had took notice in how the man blushed from time to time...and how he avoided keeping eye contact with him... he wondered if the hunter found him...attractive.
